Unique ice cream rolled by hand. I had the All Fudged Up flavor with chocolate sprinkles and Lychee jelly as topping. The texture and flavor was good. Have ample non-dairy options. Went there after dinner and there was a long wait. A bit expensive but thats because each ice cream is hand rolled. Would recommend if never tried something like this before.

I remember their service being excellent and my kids loving the sweet treat but not anymore. The ice cream rolls didnt look like rolls, it just looked like a glob of melted ice cream. It barely covered half of the serving cup, too much mochi, and too few strawberries. I took it home 5 minutes away and it was barely edible. Who would ever want to pay $8 for a half cup of melted ice cream?! I have not taken a scoop out on all of the pictures posted here.

The food at this place has gone much worse. The ice cream rolls werent even in rolls. It only covers half of the cup. Most of them are toppings, Not ice cream. The service is horrible. The staffs keep chatting with each other. They ignore the customers. It takes extremely long time to get the order. The way they talk is very rude. Dont recommend.

Great service from the two spunky gals behind the counter. Almonds tasted a bit stale, but everything else was delicious and watching them roll the ice cream never gets old.

The almonds in the topping were rancid. The ice cream flavor (their most popular) was doable. The staff was courteous and tried to compensate us with other items.

Wow! I was waiting for a good weekend day to try and went there today. I loved! The ice cream is delicious and being able to see them making it right in front of you is amazing. I tried the Rock-n-roll: chocolate, marshmallows and nuts.

Awesome place! Very accommodating for someone with food allergy. Our kid have dairy, egg, and peanut allergy and they have option for my kid to enjoy their dessert. Really appreciate the staff who work there too.

The ice-cream didn’t have any taste just very bland. The presentation did no justify the prices they charge. The brownie bites topping was stale. And they added peanuts instead of almonds (which was what I asked for). Very very disappointed. :(

I am an Indian vegetarian, i.e. I eat dairy but not eggs. All of their dairy based ice creams have eggs so we tried three of their vegan flavours. We did not like any one of them. They were coconut based and had large coconut flakes. It is subjective, but I did not like the large coconut flakes in my ice cream roll.Although, their topping policy is quite generous.

At Icicles getting ice cream is an experience. It’s fun to watch them roll the ice cream right in front of you. The result is both delicious and beautiful. It is slightly expensive and the wait is long, but well worth it.Note: they do have nuts on the menu so they offer the option of starting a new frozen tray to roll your ice cream away from nuts. This might add to the wait time as it needs to get cold enough to freeze the cream.

Great tasting and reasonably priced menu. They have gluten free cookies for the ice cream sandwiches, but were out of one flavor. They have soy based, non dairy, ice cream, but wish they had another (like coconut) option for people with dairy and soy issues.

Looks like this is another branch of icicles which in San Jose. We went there at 9:30pm and there was not much rush. My order will always be strawberry fantasy because its heaven. The taste is just awesome. They use fresh strawberries, Graham crackers and condensed milk to make the ice cream rolls for this particular menu. The only drawback I felt in this Mt view branch was the ice cream rolls didnt taste as awesome as it does in Willow Glen branch. Friendly staff. Nice place.

I went on a Tuesday night just before closing and still there was a long queue. The portions are big was too much for me alone. It is good see them make.

They put cream and other items on a ice-base, make layers of the frozen edibles, slice the layer to multiple stripes, roll the layers like tootsies and get you a bowl of the small things. If this long sentence does not make you interested, that might be because of bad typing i am doing while eating one of their ice creams. Among their dairy ones, the hazelnut coffee and coconut vanilla ice creams I loved and tried so many times. And my favorites from the fruity rolls are of mango and raspberry. I only visited the Mountain View shop, so the full review is for this.

Google says that the mountain View location should be open at noon. There are no hours on the door. At 2:10, there were people inside, but the place is obviously closed (door locked, open sign not lit). I asked through the window what time they opened, the worker just shrugged. Three other families came by while we were there and we all were confused that there not only wasnt any indication of when it might be open, but that the workers on the inside didnt seem to know either.We went for a walk and came back 10 minutes later, but the place was still closed. I saw another person try the door.This is the second time this has happened to me where I came during the day and couldnt tell what time the store might be open. Im reluctant to suggest this store to my family in the future.

I am a big fan of rolled icecream. They have interesting flavors such as pumpkin cheesecake or avocado.add your topics. Avoid the mochi topping as it is colored and just tastes like synthetic gum.

Great tasting ice cream, made right in front of you which is fun to watch. The variety of flavors makes it so anyone can find something to enjoy with non dairy options for lactose intolerant people! Toppiki are unlimited which is nice as most ice cream places charge elfir every gummy bear (Im exaggerating bug you get the idea) the Price is a little bit high but manageable for most. Great place to grab a cold treat on a hot afternoon- or anytime really ;) . Cereal killer drowned in caramel is my personal favorite. The shop is clean with a long bench against the wall to sit while you wait for your order to be made (so you can watch it)

I generally avoid eating icecreams as they are not healthy and only treat myself rarely. There was a slightly long line when I went in on a weekend. But it did not take them more than 15 mins to finish it. They call your name and make the icecream in front of you. Once its done, you can add any number of toppings after they make it, in the back. They have a standard list of ice cream like ~20 of them and I picked one with chocolate and brownies. I topped if off with chocolate chips, mint Oreo, bananas and chocolate sauce. It was good.

Amazing freshly made 🍨 options served with less than average service.The server decided to let my $9 a cup 🍨 sit and melt before he made it for others to save a trip to the toppings counter.It still tasted melt in the mouth delicious - so hopefully you will get a better service and enjoy the 🍨 the way it is supposed to be.

A fun and tasty Ive cream shop. The gimmick is that the ice cream is made on demand on cold sheets of metal. It yields a very dense (creamy) Ive cream. The standard flavors they have are a little basic, but all very good.

Absolutely the awesome ice cream. Store has variety of ice creams and wait, you’ll love the names. Unlimited toppings, keep on adding. A person making an ice cream was really good, made a smily 😊 before starting. Definitely a must go.

I love Icicles! The staff is friendly, and its extremely satisfying to watch them make. Also, since the servings are rather large, they allow you to split it in two separate cups. Toppings are also included in the price-- you can add whatever you want at the end, and theyre very generous with those. That being said, it is a little pricey, but I really do think its worth the money :)

This place is great! Rolled ice cream is very fun to watch be made and to eat. while were there, there was a very long line and it was very busy and there were only two girls there to make the ice cream. I just felt really bad for them! They did a great job though.

A fancy looking ice cream joint. It is expensive and according to me not worth it. The ice cream is way too sweet and the queue is always long so its not worth the wait. The excitement is all about the way they make it live in front of you. Thankfully we were 3 of us but just ordered one. Portions are however of good size.

Wow, what a fun experience!! Didnt know what to expect and the show of the preparation did not disappoint. The flavor and texture were both spot on as well, so smooth and tasty! Love that their toppings are unlimited though for the price its good that they do that because $9 for an ice cream is pretty steep. It works to share for a special treat though I ate mine all by myself 😋 If youre up for the price tag then I definitely recommend for the experience and flavor quality!

This place has good ice cream but their customer service is horrible. They always change their supposed hours. Before was 10pm now all of a sudden it’s 9pm but the hours on the door and online are different. Workers act like they have somewhere better to be and the customers are a bother.

Interesting concept. Some people dont think it is sanitary the way the desserts are made nevertheless the creation is entertaining to watch. Margins are high.

The ice cream is excellent, but the only serving size is too much. Much more reasonable if you split it with someone. The wait times arent as bad they used to be. The madness of trying to hear if your name was called over the chopping just as bad as ever. Switch to numbers, or something!

Very nice unique and authentic place.. out of all the staff members are so great .. I sincerely want to thank Mr. Lucas who was so kind and made my kids day.. We came out for a special event and walked in to ICICLES... my kid loved it.. he tried to play the machine On the side and he was not lucky to win and Mr. Lucas came in ... gave additional coins and then at the end even some souvenirs to my kid to cheer him up, that made his day.. Thank you .. I will definitely recommend this place and for sure will visit when I come to Mountainview, I personally wanted to call and thank the staff and mention about Lucas but they don’t have phone numbers on their website.. Enjoyed watching the ice cream being made as much as the eating of it. Its a novel way to custom-craft an ice cream treat in front of the customer, incorporating mix-ins from the beginning. Ingredients are poured onto a chilled plate, then thoroughly mixed and spread out to form a thin flat rectangle. It freezes quickly and is scraped up into a series of 4 inch wide rolls using a tool like a wide putty knife. That makes about 5 or 6 rolls, which are put into a paper cup for the customer and toppings are added. That makes a pretty large serving, at least equal to two full scoops at another ice cream store. The process allows for a really wide variety of flavors (and sorbets too). I liked my serving very much. For all the novelty, though, I think the price is a bit too high. I would also suggest that they should be able to make it in different portion sizes.

Like the choices of flavors and toppings. Watching it being made is cool as well. A bit labor intensive so cost is $8.99 but still felt there was good value.
