This one is nice. Fast lines and a lot of produce. Theres a bakery, deli and Chinese food to go with a little sushi selection. Theres also a Starbucks and a bank inside for your convenience.

This is the most accommodating grocery store Ive ever been in. The people working their are so attentive and actually smile as they communicate with their customers. You can tell... they enjoy their jobs. It was a nice treat finding this store.

What the heck. This is the most organized Safeway Ive ever been to. Ive seen many a store where the produce looks disheveled and sad, or certain things are always out of stock...Whoever has been making this store look as beautiful as it does must take a lot of pride in it. Whoever you are, you should be proud, because youre doing an awesome job!I also loved that they have more exotic produce than other Safeways, including Thai chili peppers, scorpion and ghost peppers, lemongrass, Napa cabbage, cactus leaf, and more.

Older store showing its age. Pretty much everything you need though, including a Starbucks booth. Also has Wells Fargo ATMs for a safer place to do your business.Hot food in the deli, bakery with a cake decorator, and a pretty good sized wine section. The produce section is about the only one theyve paid attention to, everything else is old and dreary. But hey its an older store.

I like this grocery store. It has everything I need. Also has a good number of self checkouts. Decent alcohol collection too. You can definitely find decent wines here at times for a good price

The Safeway on the border of Cupertino and Sunnyvale is the best Safeway I have ever been to. The deli employees are the best employees you could ever come across. All of the workers that I have come to know at this Safeway are 100% amazing

What a beautiful inviting store. If you come in for one item, youll come out with more. Spacious, clean, shiny with various areas that invite and capture your attention. Starbucks coffee, wine section that is cleverly enticing, more areas to explore than you have time for.

This Safeway is always clean and very well-stocked. It’s one of the larger Safeways, and therefore has a greater variety than many. The layout is a little bit different from that in most other stores, but it’s quite easy to navigate. The staff is courteous and professional.

The girl at starbucks. sini, she was super nice and got me what i needed but she needs to fix her face (her mask, she told me she was vaccinated why still wear it. she looks dumb) and she sprayed the counter after i picked up my drink, that felt rude as hell.

Only 2 checkers working. The lines are 9 people deep. Sure you can go to self checkout, but you cant buy booze there. This is a damn joke!!!!

Very clean pleasant environment for a neighborhood market. The deli, bakery and wine department had a good selections. The staff was very personable and helpful.. I ran in last minute for a cake and other things and the staff was very helpful. They were very knowledgeable of their products.

Nice store, great layout, decent prices. Was a bit put off when walking up to get a cart. There were two employees standing there chatting and the woman curtly told my girlfriend and I that they were out of carts, and snidely said if we want a cart we can go find one and bring it back to her and she can sanitize it (we should go out in the parking lot and get them out of a cart corral or look for a stray). When there’s 2 workers standing there talking doing nothing and take a snarky tone telling a customers to go find a cart themselves, you can see why we would be a bit irritated. Not a good idea to be caustic to your customers.

This a typical Safeway and the only reason for 3 stars is because Ive gone there 3 times and 2 of them, I was stuck at a register with an extremely rude cashier with no option to go elsewhere. Other than that, the store seems pretty nice.

This particular Safeway is more than a little bit confusing. For some reason it always feels smaller than it actually is, and tends to get pretty busy/crowded. At least you dont have to wait inline to get in... That said, it had a very robust deli and a decent selection of chilled wine, you just have to go into the far back corner to find it.

Bakery closes at 8:00PM on Saturday evenings (information confirmed by a supervisor).Started waiting in front of the bakery stand at 7:50PM, listened to several automated calls reverberating in the store around me and starting with “Attention Bakery personnel...” I will them give the benefit of the doubt, but I am pretty sure those were triggered by my presence.I called loudly “Hello?” several times (hate doing that as it is against my upbringing), stayed until 8:05PM, and left. Asking a supervisor at 8:08PM about the situation just yielded the following conversation: “oh yeah, the bakery employees just leave as soon as they finish baking the bread, now they are all on lunch break. No one is going to be able to help you.” I replied: “how do you call that?” He replied: “lunch.” Lunch at 8:00PM. Okay!I did not know that this Safeway’s bakery employees were so overworked that they had to wait until leaving early in order to have lunch at 8:00PM.I hope you feel the nonsense.

For all day needs ...and with lots of choices.

Opened 24x7, never too crowded, never had to wait in line to get in. Good fresh produce and everything else you can think about. They also have a pharmacy with great customer service. You can order catering and custom cakes, deli sandwiches, and much more.

Clean place with decent prices. Didnt have what I wanted and workers were not helpful.

Good sized Safeway at this location. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and they are quite quick to respond to growing lineups with adding more cashiers to the checkout lines. Parking is ample and it is pretty easy to get in and out of this San Antonio Plaza mall.

Me and my husband are loyal Safeway customers. We love this place. We love this place because of a specific cashier named Andre. He is always so friendly and helpful. Whenever we see him he greets us with a smile and is eager to go out of his way to help if we have any questions. He pays close attention to detail and checks our eggs to make sure none are broken every single time. When he sees that the lines are getting clogged up he quickly opens up a new lane. Andre is the reason we love coming to Safeway!

Safeway in Palo Alto off of Middlefield I went to the counter to pay for my groceries and my gift card didnt work made a funny sound and I told the guy that could you check it she threw it in the trash can I ask for it back and he said he couldnt find it but it was a $50 gift card so I said he must have needed and so I left

Nice looking Safeway good lunch options

The drive up & go service is a joke. I was told there are designated parking spots and I can call the number on the sign to get my order delivered. However, there is no designated spots at all! We spent 30 minutes driving around and saw the signs promoting this service everywhere but couldn’t find the designated spots. We ended up calling the store and was told to just park in front of the entry.

I wanted to make my co-worker a gift basket. I searched everywhere and my last resort was Safeway. They had what I wanted. I have not shopped there in a long time as I consider them pricey. They have restored my faith. I needed spiced cider packets and they had them. Thank you Safeway!

This is a very helpful store...the employess are helpful.

This is a (mostly) full service Safeway which opened approximately seven years ago to replace an older location across the street.Has a bakery, deli, pharmacy, US Bank, Starbucks, floral/gift shop, and an array of smaller services in-store. Has many check-out lanes, but usually not so many employees to run them.There are now 8 self service check-out lanes that are popular to get out a little faster. This process can be ok but still requires frequent intervention my a staffer.Stock is usually pretty good for common items, but sale items do tend to run out, cuts of beef on sale that week can be hard to find if a butcher isnt available, and some app promoted items can be even more difficult if your visit isnt timed right.Parked out front has the issue the the lines are a little tight, making that lot a little less safe to navigate than some. Better to park in the lot on the roof, there is an elevator on each end of the lot, the spaces are larger and less populated.

Busy store not quite a lot to shop for, or search for........unless youre preparing or catering a party or shopping on someones behalf, so with that said customer service is a D- for now!!

Definitely utilize the rooftop parking; Ground level parking gets very congested and the rooftop parking is never full.I always grab something sweet from the bakery when I go. The pumpkin vanilla bean cheesecake they have for fall is fantastic!Good selection of brands and produce. Be careful to read for the sales, though, as some of your sale items might not ring up correctly if you do not follow some of the sale guidelines (i.e. Must buy 4 to get “X” item for $2).

Good location. Easy to spot from while driving. Very good for quick stops. Usually see a couple people hanging out asking for money. Now its a mom and daughter who get dropped off to sit in front of the building right in front of the entrance otherwise its an older man with a cup on a scooter.

I was trying to buy some bananas. The scale at the register was broken, but the cashier didnt let that get in her way. She went all the way around to the next available register. Which was the one over. Then she weighed the bananas. All three of them, at once, and came back. Pulled out her personal phone to use her calculator to get the pricing on the fruit. Happy Friday!

Difficult to find what I wanted. No one available to help me or werent interested in helping me.

Helpful staff. I visited to claim a Western Union transfer and chose this branch for having the only positive review in the area. I was not disappointed. The staff are great.

Spacious parking spaces. Clean facility and their cashier was fast. Outstanding produce and were labeled well. Self checkout was good too.

Bought 4 cartons of Breyers ice cream. All were soft and 2 appeared to have been melted and refrozen. This makes me suspicious of the condition of other frozen items. Walmart is next door. Ill try that the next time I buy ice cream.

This is a nice Safeway store. They have a good selection and staff is friendly. The only issue is that they usually only have 1 or 2 checkouts open even though they have more than 10, so lines can get really long

Wonderful place to get groceries

Great selection of organic food. But you need to buy your deli meats and cheeses elsewhere because this Safeway Store will only sell deli meats and cheeses in single- use plastics. Molly Stones, nearby, sells deli meat and cheeses in paper wrap.

This is a nice Safeway. Excellent meat department for any supermarket. Decent produce. Upstairs parking is easier. Open at all hours. Use their app to get coupons. I like to save up points and use gas discount at Chevron.
