By far the least stressful and easiest vehicle purchase ever. We worked with Lucas for 7 months while awaiting the arrival of our Telluride. He was cordial, super responsive, had a great sense of humor, and made us feel well taken care of all throughout the process. I see horror stories of others not getting updates from their dealership during the ordering/waiting process, and there was never a time that we felt that way. We were always kept up to date. Since so many order from you, hopefully you will get more allocations so that your wait time will diminish for orders in the future. We worked with Kyle in Finance who also made us feel right at home, and transparent information made us feel safe throughout the process. We drove 5 hours each way to do business with your dealership, and would do it all over again. Thanks for making this process painless!!

Great experience from start to finish with Lucas. I had to travel 4 hours to get the Kia Carnival I wanted and it was well worth it. Lucas made sure the vehicle was held for me and was ready to test drive when I got there. Except for the fact of having to wait a little while for everything to get processed (due to them being busy-good problem for them to have) it was all good. 10/10 would recommend visiting this dealership and asking for Lucas when youre in need for a new vehicle. Made an appointment for an oil/filter change & to get the steering wheel centered up on my 2021 K5 GT-Line.From making the appointment, to checking in, to being kept in the know about how it was going on the car, to checking out, everyone at KIA of Muncie was professional, pleasant, and helpful.The facility was neat, clean with Coffee & bottled water, and a very comfortable waiting area with nice seating & TV. The mens restroom was very clean, and even had a baby changing station in it!The work on my car was done quickly, and no slobbered oil, or greasy hand prints on the exterior, under the hood, or in the interior.Check-out was quick & prices are very fair for the Central Indiana market.Thanks! We ordered a Gravity Gray/Dune Brown SX Prestige Nightfall Telluride (holy long name, Batman) all the way from here in Virginia.Our salesman was Zach Humes, and I cant stress this enough: the man was an actual piece of heaven to work with. He was ultra-communicative, prompt in responses, and helped in literally any way he OR I could think of.If youre having any hesitation from getting that Costco pricing (under MSRP!) from Kia of Muncie from out of state, dont. If youre willing to wait, youll arguably have the best dealer experience of your life.The shipping to Northern Virginia was seamless (aside from a few superficial scratches and lotso road salt from the drive), as we just paid Kia of Muncie $850 and he set up literally everything.We just had to get the title and everything finished up at the DMV, and there was an issue with our Bill of Sale (there really wasnt, the DMV employees were just absurdly incompetent). We called Kia of Muncie and Lucas picked up; we explained we needed our Bill of Sale signed with a confirmation of payment... he faxed it to the DMV we were at within 20 minutes. Then, once we gave that over and were assured everything would go great from here, the DMV claimed we needed a title from Indiana in order to get a title in Virginia. Again, I cant stress enough the incompetence of these employees. I explained what these DMV people were saying, and Lucas read around their BSing and pointed us to a document signed by the Indiana BMV which the DMV employees somehow didnt know they needed... and everything went great from there. I probably called Lucas almost 7 or 8 times over the span of 2 hours and he *happily* helped me. Lucas, all the way from Indiana, was our rock in the depths of our horrific Virginia DMV experience.Insanely good customer service, I genuinely cant recommend these guys enough.

Absolutely amazing customer service! It was my first time buying a car and the process was broken down and explained to me in simple terms so that I understood, and the salesman that I worked with, Jakob, made sure I understood everything before moving forward. Craig in financing was also great and broke everything down. I visited a few dealerships today searching for a new car, and Kia of Muncie definitely trumped everyone else’s customer service. I was really only interested in test driving the various makes and models I was interested in today, and would decide and proceed later on down the road, but Jakob took extra time to take care of me even though my intentions were clear I was only test driving, and ended up scoring a sale because he went above and beyond! I am not taking the car anywhere else to get fixed the oil consumption test should not be void I’ve taken the car somewhere else to get looked! He’s the one that pointed out that my oil smells like gasoline I’m just trying to get an answer as to what’s wrong with my vehicle ! Now, the guy in there today was great very polite unlike the previous gentleman that is no longer with you however there is more wrong with it than just what the engine light shows and you guys refuse to listen rather Chad had Disregarded what I have said and not told you guys or whatever the case may have been I’m trying to make the problem known so someone will listen to me!! The oil consumption test should not be void just because I took it somewhere for someone else to look at it I have had my car in there multiple times and I hope that you guys can get it fixed next week when I bring it thank you!

I’ve brought the vehicle into you guys every time the oil was low! So how was the oil consumption not finished!? I’ve still been bringing the car into you guys!!!! INCLUDING TODAY!! The gentleman who helped me today was sweet as can be!! But please tell me how the oil consumption test wasnt completed just because i had someone else take a quick glance at the car?? I’ve brought that car in with low oil three times since we started the oil consumption and he did in fact tell me to just go buy a new car!!

Best car buying experience to date period. We went to visit Kia of Muncie with no expectation of getting the car we desired. However, we made an appointment with Jake Bryan and he discussed several vehicles with us prior to visiting and determined what our top choice was. When we arrived the vehicle was sitting out and a sign with our name on it was in front of it. This was very nice and immediately showed us that he had prepared for us and had put at least some time into our visit. We came later in the day as I work until 5 and live an hour away. Jake made us feel like we were the only people who he had to take care of that day. He made us feel at home and important. He took our information and let us drive the vehicle and evaluated ours. He assured us we would be able to work something out even though our expectations were low. He stayed three hours past close to make sure he was there when we signed the papers and took our 2021 Kia Sorento SX Prestige home. He made getting our financing seamless to us and explained the benefits of warranties and everything. Once we met with the finance person (Kyle Royse) the fantastic service and help continued. He reviewed everything and ensured we understood benefits and costs and allowed us to make decisions without influence. While this vehicle will make us happy for a long time to come you can rest assured we will be back for our next one and anyone who asks me about my car will hear my story, my entire story. I walked into the show room without really knowing where to go to get my car serviced and sales consultant, Nathan Laveau, not only told me where to go but took the time to walk with me as I drove over to the side of the dealership where services are done. Best car buying experience I’ve had. Ordered the popular and hard to get, especially at MSRP, Kia Telluride from Lucas Boehm. Ordered and got an estimate on my Volvo XC60 trade-in which was very fair (same $ as CarMax) remotely. Lucas had excellent communication throughout the process - knew when my order was placed, KIA picked up my order, estimated delivery, when the VIN was created, when the car left the manufacturer, when the car arrived at the dealership, etc. I was quoted 6-8 months for delivery and the car came in just shy of 6 months, about a week before the estimate. Lucas was very knowledgeable about the Telluride (has owned two) and thoroughly went over the car with me upon pick up. Great guy and salesman. No hassle. Highly recommend.

We bought our Telluride from Lucas Boehm at Kia of Muncie and he was the best through out the entire process. He was very helpful while we were working out our vehicle order. Upon ordering, he was entirely clear about the time it take to build and deliver our Telluride (quite a while!). He kept us up to date while we waited; even offering another Telluride at the dealer when it arrived (we passed). Lucas really shined when we picked up the Telluride. He took care of processing our trade-in and introducing us to our new ride. He spent an hour going over the vehicle physically, linking our iPhones to the car and reviewing the digital intrerfaces, which are extensive. He literally reviewed every available option. Nate and Zack did a really good job of handling the sale of the vehicle. The tent sale seemed to be very busy and somewhat scattered, so it took a minute to figure out who would actually be helping me. Two weeks prior to my visit, I went to kiaofmuncie.com and did a value trade on my then-current car via Kelly Blue Book. They estimated my trade would be worth over $18,000, and Carvanas site suggested nearly the same. The initial number that came to be for the trade was $13,000 which I found unacceptable, so they pushed it to $14,000. The price for the new vehicle came to me as the sticker price when the website had it at $1500 less than that as it was at the Tent Sale. Kyle said, it slipped his mind to put that discount in the initial price. The initial interest rate was an entire point higher than my current loan which was explained because of the duration of the loan. My biggest disappointment is that when I visited Kia of Muncies website to see what theyre selling my trade for, it listed for $21,991, which is more than I paid for it 2 years ago. I understand where the market stands at the moment in the world of vehicle sales, yet that doesnt give me any comfort that I feel like I was treated less than by the finance area. Please understand I am currently very happy with my 2022 Sportage, but displeased with the way the finance side was handled for something that was advertised as a Big Sale. This experience has taught me that instead of being the nice guy, I need to play hardball and have my steadfast numbers ready for an all-or-nothing situation.
Went here the other day, test drove 1 vehicle, then went through the application process. Had to leave early due to having other responsibilities after being there for 2-3 hours. Thankfully, my wife and I found a vehicle with another dealership. With Kia in Muncie, we were told that we would be notified about our vehicle but we never were. This is frustrating especially since they do a hard pull on your credit. If we would have known ahead of time that they were gonna do this we would have never stopped at Kia.

Very friendly staff and keep you updated on the status of the vehicle repairs, even preformed 3 recalls that just came out 1 of witch I taken my vehicle to another Kia dealer out of town and was told that they didnt have a recall notice issued. I received a recall in the mail 1 week later where there was a recall dated 1 day before I took the car . He doesn’t quote a price then jack it up with a “market adjustment.” We have bought two cars from him and live in Colorado and had great experience both times. I wish Muncie Kia was in Colorado Springs.

Customer service was awful. I called because I’ve been thinking of buying a new car. Now I know my husbands and I do not have great credit nor a good enough down payment, but I thought I’d try anyway. Well Jake was the salesman I was given. Took my info then stood in the finance managers office the whole time I was there unless he had a quick question he’d come out, ask the question, then go right back into the room. Never updated me on what was happening, only asked if I needed a water or anything at the beginning and never offered again for the almost 2 hours I was there. Also was able to see him and a couple others eat lunch which I understand people need to eat but I find it a tad unprofessional while they have all of our information in-front of them. I was also not approached by anyone else to see if I needed anything. I may as well have been invisible. We weren’t approved for a vehicle which is fine I figured it was a long shot, but when we do go to buy a vehicle within the next year hopefully, I will not be coming back here.

Initially I was contacted immediately about expectations and wants and an appointment was made for me to come see cars which was great! When I got there expectations were asked again and what I wanted to look at, nice. But the cars I looked at were a no go and I was looking in the lot for another car and didn’t find what I was looking for. There weren’t many in my parameters so I went elsewhere. If I was a big spender I probably would have been able to find what I was looking for but that wasn’t really in my budget and the salesman sorta seemed annoyed with my presence and expectations. No worries though I got a car today.

I drove 2 hours to get there because they had the best price but after arriving it only got better, they were very knowledgeable, very friendly and very efficient. If I could give more stars for the kia sevice center than i definitely would. They did an amazing with my car. Greg was very Informative and explained everything to me. He answered all my questions and updated me with any new information about my car. Aaron was the tech and he did an amazing job fixing everything. I cant thank them both enough. My car had several problems and they fixed it all. Most of the issues was covered by Kias warranty, which was amazing. I would highly recommend if you have any issues they will definitely get everything fixed and at an amazing price. I couldnt be happier!
Seems this place has adopted their playbook from CarMax. Cars priced at maximum that a bank will finance. This means you pay minimum 125% of full retail for a vehicle. Of course the price starts out higher and that discount they give you is right at the maximum a bank will loan without requiring a down payment due to excessive negative equity at purchase. Makes the customer feel all warm a fuzzy. Not this customer. Sales guy was nice, until I didnt accept the offer they made and countered. His attitude changed from friendly and helpful to agitated and forceful. The this is how its gonna be routine. Imagine how it would be if they already had your money. After a vehicle is 5 years old there is no law in Indiana that holds a dealer liable for selling you a car with frame damage or a salvage title knowingly or unknowingly. This was the case with the car I was interested in buying. CarFax says nothing about frame damage. However it does say that it was involved in an accident with moderate damage to right rear. Always check a vehicle history and NOT just from the dealership. They have every incentive to lie to you and you can do nothing about it, if the car is 5 years or older. If you purchase this particular vehicle and have an accident, your or the other persons insurance will not pay for frame damage, only cosmetic damage. Which means you have a car that you owe significantly more than its worth and its smashed with no money to fix it. Oh, and you can forget about that gap insurance they basically force on you, it wont pay either! You will just get a refund of whatever you paid. This seems like a very reputable dealership. Buyer beware!

A little over a year ago I got a call from Kia of Muncie stating my vehicle was read for pick up, let me remind you I don’t own a vehicle from them. Then I received a phone call from the license branch stating my license was suspended, the lady was very rude and was arguing with me telling me my license was suspended and I know what is on my driving record and I couldn’t figure out why my license was suspended so I double checked and called the license branch just to make sure everything was good and it was. Well I did a little thinking and put two and two together and figured out there are two people in KIA’s system with the same first and last name but different middle names and shortly before my call from the license branch I had received the call from Kia so I called them and informed them what was going on and they told me they deleted all my info out of the system and it should be taken care of. Well yesterday I received a call looking for what I thought was me but when I was finally connected to a representative she told me who it was and they needed to speak with me and then went on to tell me the last four of my social, well guess what it was the wrong social so yet again I was contacted by someone looking for the other person with my same name. So I finally just decided to message the person and she informed me that she bought a vehicle from them in 2017 and when she purchased her vehicle they registered the vehicle in my name but used her social and when the sales representative told her what was going on he told her they would be contacting me and informing me of what was going on, well guess what??? 4 years later and I never received a call to inform me what was going on. I contacted Kia of Muncie yesterday to inform them what was going on and the first person I talked to told me they must have deleted the wrong person out of there system and my name was still in there system. I left a voicemail for someone yesterday and today and I still haven’t heard from anyone! I wouldn’t recommend Kia of Muncie to my worst enemy and if it would have been possible to leaving a rating with no star I sure would have!
We went in with the intention of Only looking at the previous year models Some guy near the door starting talking to us. Joshua is his name and he explained that the 2021 models were very obtainable and how affordable they areOur car buying experience at Kia of Muncie was great the whole experience was awesome

Great people. My wife purchased a new sportage and because of the great service I went back a week later and bought a new Kia Seltos. I felt like I was given a very fair deal and got more for my trade in than I had expected. If you get a pick of salespersons go with Josh Zacharias. He is very much a low pressure laid back salesperson that is extremely knowledgeable of the Kia brand. I appreciated the friendly conversations we had during my buying process. Seriously where do I begin? I had the absolute privilege of working with Lucas throughout the entire process of getting my Telluride. It was not just the best car buying experience I’ve ever had but the best sales experience I’ve ever had in my life. I had to order my car and waited only a few months for it but during that time Lucas answered any question I ever had. It was 1000% worth the six hour round trip drive and I will absolutely do business with them again even though they’re not the closest dealership to me.

Outstanding buying experience!!We ordered our 2021 Telluride with all the configurations we wanted and got it delivered to us in Hawaii. They participated in the Costco Auto Program for this vehicle which is why I choose this dealership, along with all the great reviews. Im blown away by the service! We worked with Lucas, he was awesome, very honest, and committed in providing excellence. I dont think I can thank him enough. He was always available to answer all of our questions whether we contacted him via phone or email, and really made this experience a breeze without ever leaving home. We loved this dealership and Ty was great! We went in thinking we weren’t going to be able to get anything and went home driving the brand new Sportage I wanted. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and went out of their way for us!
Customer service isnt what it use to be. Nobody seems to want to help or explain anything. Even with preapproval, they never tried to find the right vehicle for us when we decided not to trade in. I am really disappointed. Jordan was annoyed and didnt seem interested in a sale and just didnt want to be bothered. It was nothing like this when we bought our first car from them 5 years ago.

While all other dealers across the country are charging over MSRP and trying to justify it...Lucas was honest and was able to get me my dream Telluride for under MSRP and even shipped directly to my house.
While shopping for a new car we had tried another Kia dealer, we didnt have a good experience. We contacted Joshua Zacharias at Muncie and got a quote that didnt change when we got there. Joshua was friendly and helpful. A very good car buying experience.
