Well- after being passed around by numerous auto body repair shops deciding if they wanted to take the job or not of repairing my vehicle, I decided to give this business a try.I walked in and spoke with the front desk- I waited 5-10 min and had a guy outside with me looking at what needed to be repaired. He prepared the estimate in a timely fashion and we ordered the parts needed for repair same day.Once the parts came in I was able to drop off and pick up same day- good as new!!! They were trustworthy, transparent and took the stress out of this entire process. If you have any auto body/ repair needs for your business or personal- I give this outfit 5 stars. I will definitely use them again in the future! The staff is Wonderful!!!

My 2001 Mustang convertible was involved in a pretty substantial collision and I was expecting to have to write the car off. The Allanson guys did great job of sourcing the parts and repairing my mustang without breaking the bank. I hope I am not in need of any auto body work in the near future, but if do need any work done I will definitely go to Allanson.

Brought my SUV in after someone nailed the passenger side with their door in a parking lot. It had left a good size dent, but Allanson took all the steps needed to fix it correctly and completely. No signs of damage left and you cant tell at all that it happened. The work was finished in the timeline we were given at the outset.

I took my car to Allanson auto body to repair some minor dents and scratches. The work was done in a timely manner and the car looked almost new after their work. They also cleaned the interior of the car which was an added bonus and gave me a ride to and from home to leave the car and pick it up. Allanson Auto body repair shop took more time to go over my car and stood behind me when ill fitting parts when sent and when plain junk was sent.They have a top notch crew members and do very outstanding work. We are from out of state. We got into an accident while visiting family in the area, and needed our car fixed quickly before heading back home. We received a fair and accurate estimate, and work was completed promptly and professionally. We were very happy with the result.

My car door was broken and I was looking around for quote almost all the Auto body shops near my area. Everyone gave me a big-price and gave only option of getting a new door, paint and fix it which is a labor intensive and costly option. When went to Allanson, they gave few options one among is to find a used same color door and fix it. After getting the used door I dropped my car for the fix and took it back the same day. It was very great experience, now my car look same as before. They also helped with removing the door protection and fix it in the new door. Great job Allanson!! Highly recommended! My lexus was badly damage and I expected its gonna cost a lot to repair. The first the body shop I went for estimate they told me right away most likely my insurance will total my car. I drove the car from the place of the accident to my house and to a few body shops, my car drives well, no vibration, no engine light, no warning light, nothing leaking so roughly 20 miles of driving all in all after the accident. The front of the car was badly damage but I never expected someone will even consider the car as total loss, other places said its gonna cost at least 15-20k to repair. Andy took 5 mins to check out car and said most likely below 10k, it will take 1-2weeks. I expected the repair will be longer due covid, parts are harder to get, less worker but I got the car in less than 2 weeks and less than 10k total cost. Looks brand new, like nothing happen on it, terrific job! Really nice people. Everytime I call for update or something, they are always pleasant to me. John, Andy, and front desk lady thank you so much for everything. The place doesnt look as fancy as the body shop do. My wife was very skeptical about them when she saw the place because its a outdated building, but dont judge the book by its cover. After getting rear ended, I needed a bodyshop. I was familiar with Allanson Auto Body, in Mundelein, as I see their place on my way to work. I did my due diligence, and found them to be highly reviewed, and on State Farms list of approved vendors.Everyone was very friendly when I brought my car in. I spoke with John, who gave me an overview of the process dealing with my insurance. He told me the numbers they gave my insurance company are an estimate, and that they would update those numbers after they completely fixed my car!They actually found more damage when they removed the bumper, and my insurance paid for it all.I was very happy with the service and very satisfied with the work, which is guaranteed! I hadnt even gotten my door repaired yet, but right off the bat I got a sense of confidence that I havent had anywhere else Ive went to. John was friendly and enjoyable to talk with, and when diagnosing issues, he didnt leap at the most expensive solution and worked from the ground up while showing me what was wrong. It wound up being a simple door adjustment, not the possible frame damage or new hinges and stripping that other shops would claim after glancing at it for a moment or partially adjusting the door. This shows that Allanson Auto Body isnt out to exploit the customers lack of expertise. Come here first and youll be treated like a human being and not a way to make money, while even getting your car fixed!

Recently engaged Allanson on an insurance claim, and they were excellent. Great communication, friendly staff, and superb work. I sustained hood, front bumper, fender, headlight, and grille damages in an accident, and when I got my car back, it was as good as new. Their paint work is on point, as well. Naturally, replacement body panels with metallic paint are never going to be identical to your originals, but Allansons work made them look as close as they were going to to my original body. On a fourteen year old car, I absolutely cannot complain. If you need body work, i highly recommend Allanson.

Allansons Auto Body is great. I have taken my Chevy HHR twice for work and they always do such a great job. The staff is very friendly and will always answer any questions you may have. You cant go wrong with getting work done here. You will be happy with the results!

They are nice enough people but will take FOREVER with your car. Every time I called them I got a at least a couple of weeks and cant give you a date. I think they oversubscribe themselves and end up having one guy working on 5-10 cars simultaneously.

Unfortunately, I have had a few accidents where I had to get my car parts replaced, but luckily I have had the pleasure of working with John at Allanson Auto Body. They have always given me such great service and I have never been disappointed with the work they have done. definitely recommend
