I got into a car accident recently and this was the car repair shop associated with my insurance company. I just want to say that Crash Champions did A FANTASTIC JOB!!! To simply state I am pleased is woefully inadequate and would be a disservice to the extraordinary service I received from the Crash Champions Mundelein team.On 06Jul2020, a hit & run drunk driver (with no insurance) rear-ended my car and spun me around 180 degrees. The drunk drivers vehicle was an older SUV. Needless to say, there was considerable damage to the rear of my vehicle. My car has had a lot of custom work and is my baby, so it was tough to see it damaged so badly.My insurance company gave me 3 options to select from: after some research, I chose Crash Champions (Batavia). Dyllon, at the Batavia location was so proactive and resourceful in getting me connected to the Crash Champions Mundelein location, which was a certified Mercedes Benz repair location. ***Quick shout out to the Batavia team :) ***At my first encounter with the Crash Champions Mundelein team, I spoke with Jesse (Manager). Jesse spent upwards of 40 minutes just to explain how his team worked, what I was looking at as far as timelines, next steps, etc. I was immediately in awe of his dynamic level of support and engagement.Jesse in turn, connected me with Dominic, who oversaw the day-to-day repair updates/progress of my vehicle. Dominic is a one man rockstar :) Like Jesse, Dom was incredibly attentive, kind, & knowledgeable. Dom gave me real time updates, I never had to track him down, I never felt rushed, nor pressured to make an uninformed decision. Dom worked hard with the Mundelein team to source all of the parts, which wasnt easy!At an in-person visit to check-in with Dom/team, I was able to meet two contenders for G.O.A.T. of auto welding and paint work - Steve-O (body work/welding) and Kevin (paint). :-) I was able to shake their hands and tell them how much I appreciated their time and looked forward to the final product.Approximately 3 months since the accident, my car was ready, and 2 weeks ahead of schedule! The work done by Steve-O, Kevin and the entire crew is nothing short of other wordly! How on earth did they complete a repair, that looked BETTER than the original body work?!?!? Was involved in a car crash and was told the door would need to be replaced. All my questions were answered at Crash Champions in Mundelein. Everything was straightforward and I felt like they were fighting for me and not caving into the insurance companies agenda. They told me they would replace my door with another used Hyundai door which was a relief because other body shops wanted to give me generic doors. When the crash wasnt your fault you want the best replacement parts for your car, as it really is only fair. Im so happy that I came to this body shop as they are very friendly and knowledgable in what they do. They also have lifetime warranty on parts they replaced which other body shops did not offer. Gerber Collision who?? Crash Champions is the place to go! Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and professional! My car was not scheduled to be brought into Crash Champions until Monday, and the insurance company labeled it as unsafe to drive. I needed to know if I could drive it over the weekend if needed. Crash Champions understood my problem and took a look at my car on that Friday to determine if I could drive it. They did not charge me for their time, and gave me the attention as if I was dropping it off. For the time that they had my car, Bruce kept me updated and informed as to what was happening and the time line I was looking at. I got my car back earlier then expected! As that was a nice surprise, I was even more surprised that they fully cleaned my car inside and out! I have never had such a good experience when dealing with the issues of being in an accident! Juan has offered the most reasonably price repair option compared to other repair shops in the area. When we approved he himself worked on our car and repaired the paint damage to our fullest satisfaction in a short duration. Highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend this place. Recently, I had a rusted out light pole come crashing down on my parked car. The damage was extensive! They literally had to take off my old roof and replace it with a brand new one. My side mirror also needed to be replaced and when I asked how long it would take he said (Jorge whose the man) one month. Every week I would get updated on my car either via text message or phone call. The car took the exact time that he said it would be. No delays or anything. My car now looks even better then before. The paint matches perfectly and quite frankly I can find no flaws within it. Very professional and considerate shop. 5/5 stars for me

When GEICO refused to pay for left over damage after an accident these guys stepped in and covered the repair and the part. It wasnt too much work but the time it took, the attention to me and my car, taking care of the replacement part and so on, is awesome and very appreciated. They did a great job fixing a side of my car and repainting it. The service is fast, friendly and i can trust them. Trust is the biggest plus for me. I hope i dont need to come back but if i do i trust they will take care of everything right.

What I value the most in auto repair companies are quality of work and honesty. Crash Champions has it all and even more! Talk about going the extra mile! I brought my 2019 RAM in for damage to the roof. They had the work done within a few days and when I arrived, they had fully detailed the outside of the car! They also hammered out a dented tailpipe free of charge from another incident and fixed my tonneau cover. This was all during the COVID scare and they completely cleaned and sanitized the inside of the car as well! What a professional shop. Theyve earned all future business of mine.

I urge people to give your review after a whileNormally crash champions will ask you to give them your review right after they fix your car but I think you should wait because there may be an issue pop out further down the road. I took my cars over there twice and I couldnt say they were all bad because first time I didnt have the car issue but the second time I did and I really disappointed and I wont be there third time any more.
