We chose Granite & Cabinet Works for the project after visiting many showrooms and getting several estimates. We started with getting the estimate for cabinets and countertops at their showroom. Bob was very patient and showed us the samples and explained how the job would be done. He also gave us the estimate. When we decided that G & C Works will do the job for us, we met with Randy at the warehouse to pick the countertop. We found Randy also very patient and pleasant to work with. The crew showed up on time on the day of installation and did a very professional and neat installation. They even took care of the plumbing and new appliances installation for a reasonable charge.I must also mention that they did a small project for us few years ago at our previous home when we had to get our existing kitchen countertop opening (for cooktop) widened to accommodate a new and bigger cooktop, when other vendors would not do it for fear of breaking the stone countertop. Then too, G & C Works did a very professional and neat work.We are very satisfied with their work. I highly recommend Granite & Cabinet Works to anyone looking to have cabinets/countertops installed.

I recently replaced our counter tops and was very happy with Granite & Cabinet Works. Bob was very patient and helpful, answering all my questions and leading me through the whole process. We met at the warehouse multiple times to look at the remnants and to chose ours. There was a good variety and the prices were very reasonable. We were able to template the piece to our liking and the installation was done very nicely. Any issues that came up were dealt with promptly. I would recommend them and will use them in the future!

Had an outdoor grill project which required a nearly full slab of granite which would require some onsite fabricating. The installers were amazingly quick and skilled. Their workmanship and follow up was incredible given they were also one of the more competitively priced companies I looked at. I was so impressed with their price and work I contacted them 2 months later when I remodeled a bathroom and purchased one of their remnants. Bob is great with his follow up, as I never wondered what was going on or surprised by anything. I would highly recommend this company if you need any cabinet or granite work done.

Last year Granite & Cabinets Works replaced our kitchen counter tops by granite. They looked so nice. Recently I called Randy again to totally redo our kitchen cabinets and back splash. Randy, Bob and the crew were so friendly and eager to go steps further. They helped us get done in their earliest possible schedule as it was so important that I could get it done in a short time frame. Randy has been in remodeling business for some time and helped me pick color and style of the cabinets and back splash. When it was done, the kitchen looked just like in a model home. Before installation, the crew carefully covered up our hardwood floor and counter tops, moved the appliances out of the way to make sure no damage occur. After the job was completed, the crew again carefully removed the covers on the floor and counter tops, moved back the appliances, vacuumed everywhere, cleaned the floor, counter tops. Randy gave me a complementary granite cleaner with cloth to clean and shine the granite counter tops. No damage to the granite counter tops and appliances as well as cleaning up afterwards were so important as I had no time to do follow up work. In addition, their quote was most reasonable of the ones we got from several cabinet installers To Granite & Cabinets Works: I thank you very much for all your work in our kitchen. We were getting ready to sell our rental townhouse and the person we had lined up to install granite in the kitchen bailed on the day of installation. I had heard of Granite & Cabinet Works from a friend and called to see how quickly they could help us. Bob and his team measured, cut and installed within 1 week at a cheaper price than the first guy. Bob was super friendly and supported us well in a time of stress. Their help was much appreciated.

This is the second time we have used G&CW, first for granite counter tops in 2 bathrooms and now in our kitchen. Bob and Randy were very helpful and extremely customer friendly from day one. The hardest part of the entire project was picking a stone that was just right for our decor. Once we made up our mind and before they cut the stone, they allowed us to personally layout the exact parts of the stone slabs we wanted to highlight for each section (4) of the kitchen. The new counter tops were just installed and I witnessed first hand the care and expertise these craftsmen demonstrated throughout the install. The entire process was seamless from start to finish and we ended up with a beautiful kitchen. We couldnt be happier with the experience and Granite & Cabinet Works will definitely be our first stop for our next project.

2 years ago we had new Kitchen counter tops installed. Granite & Cabinet Works did such a nice job, we recently had them back and install counter tops in our 3 bathrooms. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional. We were able to go to the warehouse and see the product up close before committing to buying. The installers were very polite and considerate of our home. Not only were we happy with the outcome of the work, their prices are very fair. I needed a small piece of stone to complete the hearth in front of our new gas fireplace. Bob met me at the warehouse and showed us several remnants for sale. We found a beautiful piece of quartz that they cut and polished for us ready within a week. The price was very good and the service was exceptional! I plan to use them when we upgrade our kitchen countertops.

Bob and his team recently installed a granite counter top For a vanity area. The piece of granite is absolutely beautiful and the price was perfect. They worked with our schedule and finished the project in a timely manner. My husband and I strongly recommend them!!!

I think things happen for a reason! My contractor suggested I try this place out. When I arrived, the new location was unofficially open due to a showroom move. However, Bob the salesman, was welcoming and immediately attentive to my bathroom quartz needs. He directed me to a temporary warehouse where I could view some quartz remnants for my small bathroom project.After a few kinks were worked out with sizing and installing the quarts top, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the alternate option worked to my advantage. I have a beautiful quartz top! Randy (owner/installer), functioned within the promised time frame, and his integrity in making sure I was a happy customer is something that cant be beat!Thank you Bob and Randy. A great company to work with. They were very clear with options and pricing and, once we decided to work with a remnant, helped us find and select the right piece for our project. Installation was a breeze and the measurements could not have been more perfect. Well totally work with them again on our next project.

We had countertops installed and backsplash tiled. Bob in the front office was great. He is caring person and a very good communicator. He kept us informed and was on top of things. Randy, the owner, and his installation crew were prompt, courteous, and had very good skills. Randy was extremely patient as we had a number of last minute changes that he had to contend with. He went above and beyond!

DId a great job. The kitchen project was complex. Needed to schedule both removal of old and install of new on separate days to facilitate the appliances removal/install. Worked well with the schedule and their install team was great! Even with a bad prior owner cabinet install... level???

Recently Granite Works installed new countertops and a backsplash in my kitchen. It took two weeks (rather than two days) due to many mishaps along the way during the installation process. In the end I am very happy and love my new kitchen and was compensated for all of the problems.

Things started out well... this place has a nice showroom and granite selection, and the salesperson that worked with me was very friendly and helpful. However, when it came time to make the deposit (after taking the time to choose my granite, get measurements, etc.), the estimate increased by 50%. Part of the increase was completely understandable - extra support had to be built in, and they didnt know that until they came to measure. However, the rest of the cost increase was due to an error in how much the salesperson quoted me, and then they refused to honor the quoted price. (This was not fixing the estimate because the measured amount was greater than my guess, this was a legitimate quoting error.)The refusal to honor a quoted price annoyed me a little bit, but in talking with the salesperson as a follow-up, it cemented my decision to bring my business elsewhere. I got lots of excuses but no solutions. (The owner is already doing you a favor by only charging $300 to remove your granite countertops; normally its $700, to which I say baloney, and I only work part time and Im dealing with a lot personally right now so thats why my original quote was wrong, and my personal favorite This situation has been really difficult for the owner and for the guy that communicates the final quotes. My apologies for their troubles.) What if they have the same approach if a mistake gets made on the job? Excuses but no solutions? Thats not great customer service.Im sure they do a great job for some people - other reviews seem to indicate that. The end result mightve looked nice, had I decided to work with this company. The price didnt seem too bad. I just wouldnt recommend working with them if customer service is important to you.

Worked with us to fit the slab that we fell in love with to our kitchen. Explained exactly where the seam will be and did a layout to show how the color would match up. They even fit us in for an early installation! Installers did not speak english but did a nice job. I forgot his name, but the owner was a very honest and genuinely a good guy... I am glad we gave him the business over a big box store.

They just put in a cabinet for my dear friend. She is elderly and does not hear very well. They took advantage of her. They did a sloppy job and did not check their work. Two screw were set too deep and the drawers below would not open.They refused to fix it unless she paid $100. to come back out. Then when they came out, they charged her $157.I have told her to call the BBB, AARP, the village hall and anyone she can until get her money back. This is extortion.If you are reading this, then I have recinded this, because I have not heard they have paid her back yet.It forced me to give one start.

I had small project today and called Granite Works. Frank came over the same day and did an amazing job on my granite. I really glad I found them!

I have nothing but good things to say of Granite Works. We shopped around the Chicago area and visited at least 5 different granite fabricators; we chose Granite Works because of the service that went above and beyond our expectations from the very beginning. We wanted to make some changes to the counter design and Frank was able to help us come up with a layout that looks absolutely great in our kitchen. He was extremely patient throughout the entire process and gave us the best price we could find. He even helped us find ways where we could save money. I want to specifically point out his eye for detail and quality; through each step in the process, Frank took his time to make sure that the job would get done correctly. The installation itself went smoothly and was stress-free. The quality of work was even complimented by our plumber who came in to hook-up our plumbing afterwards. He said that the undermount sink cutout and attachment to the countertop had been completed in the highest quality fashion.I love my new kitchen and wouldnt hesitate in recommending Granite Works.

Great granite selection over 100 kinds to choose from and the granite is an inch and a quarter thick not the cheap, skinny stuff!
