Your Original FeedbackI’ve been looking for a silver Raptor with the 6.2 engine for two years. Albeit I didn’t get a deal, they were automotive savvy enough to stock this rare truck. Chris gave me $500 more than Carvana offered on my trade. It’s nice to deal with a place that isn’t afraid to stock Ford Raptors. Nashville dealers don’t get it but these guys do. Give Cris a call and trust these guys to get good trucks for their community.

Im from Massachusetts and prefer to buy southern trucks that arent beat up by the harsh weather in New England. He provided a 30-day temporary registration plate and off I went on a most enjoyable adventure to Alabama, then Florida and eventually back home. I’m sad to have to leave such a negative review over such an issue that could have been easily resolved in a professional manor but wasn’t. I purchased a truck from them that turned out to have a bad wheel bearing. Being that it was a new vehicle and I did not know all of its quirks and noises I did not realize the wheel bearing was bad until about two days after purchasing the truck. I took it to my mechanic who told me he is very shocked my entire wheel did not come off as bad as the wheel bearing was. I will be honest I do not think that they tried to pull one over on me and send me off with a vehicle that had a bad wheel bearing, as bad as it was it truly was hard to notice until you got on the interstate. I called up the dealership and mentioned what my mechanic had told me. Just so they know that I wasn’t trying to pull anything over on them either I made sure there was several pictures taken of the full wheel bearing replacement. I sent them to him and he stated that he would check with his father to see what he wanted to do about it because any time there was a wheel bearing out in the vehicle they always replaced it before they sold it. I was trying to be fair and only asked him to cover the part which was $300 and I would pay the $200 in labor, this is also after the truck not even having a wheel key to where I could not even remove the wheel to replace the part until I had to go to a custom wheel shop and spend $20 for a key. Long story short I kept getting the runaround and the dad would never speak to me and the son kept telling me his dad was out of town or he would have to check back with him and so on, this went on for a couple weeks with still no response. In the end I had to spend $500 on a repair that he told me they always take care of before the vehicle is sold which they did not do this time once it was brought to their attention that the wheel bearing was shot.

Having issues of getting info, tags, vehicle I purchased has become more of a hassle when it comes to things that were reset on vehicle. After the miles were hit things started having issues it seems. Radio going out, camera going out. Just not what was expected from the reviews on here.

Went with my mother to buy a truck for my father. The salesman we dealt with was very nice. His appearance wasnt very professional. He was wearing khaki cargo shorts and flip flops and nasty t shirt. Also make sure that your A/C is charged up before you leave. We test drove two trucks that blew hot when we drove them. Other than those two issues we had a great experience there.

You will love your Jim Kirby car buying experience!I spent several weeks car shopping, and some of my experiences were surreal. For example at one car lot, I was greeted by a young salesman, probably in his mid 20s. They had an SUV on the lot that interested me and we took it out for a test drive. As soon as we got off of the lot, the salesman pulled out his phone and began texting. He knew little about the car, but told me how he had recently dropped out of Veterinary school because he realized he was more of a people person. And that he was. At one point I asked, “if I take the next left, will it take me back to the car lot”? His thumbs froze just above his iPhone long enough to glance over at the dashboard. He replied, “Weve got plenty of gas, so just keep going”! And he returned to texting for the rest of the test drive.Then there was my visit to a large dealership. The salesman that greeted me took me on a tour of the dealership before even asking about the car I was looking for. They had a spotless service department and well stocked waiting area with cable TV and snack machines. Then I was introduced to the two people who were going to make my car buying “the best experience I ever had”. The sales manager and the finance manager lacked enthusiasm, but seemed nice enough. After the grand tour, we stepped out onto the lot and the salesman finally ask me what type of car I wanted to look at. I left shortly after telling him I wanted an SUV and he tried to steer me towards a really good deal on a muscle car!You won’t get those types of experiences with Jim Kirby. Jim is the real deal. He is the guy you want to bump into at Cracker Barrel on a leisurely Saturday morning so that you can invite him to join you for a cup of coffee. He is not only personable, but shows a sincere appreciation of others. No high pressure sales tactics or nagging phone calls. Jim’s is a family run business and he stocks his lot with high quality used cars at fair prices.When I first visited Jim’s lot, he quickly told me about the vehicle, showed me a CarfFax and answered my questions. Then he handed me the car keys and suggested a driving course that allowed me to drive in city and highway conditions. I returned a few minutes later and told Jim that I wanted to test drive some other cars before making a buying decision. He gave me his business card and asked me to call him if we had any questions.Several days later, it had become clear that the best value for my dollar was at Jim Kirby Automotive. And Jim made the purchase about as simple as walking into the grocery store to buy a gallon of milk.
