They only have one location in the country and yet they balk at shipping the $2000 piece of furniture. So I have to come pick it up in my U-Haul and have someone drive it 1000 miles. I do not appreciate sales clerks being unvaccinated and in your face without a mask. (According to her “they” are out to get us and want us to stay sick!”). Why is the owner making reviews with five stars? Doesn’t that skew things? I had a family member who was going to finish a whole big house there but no more. Helm furniture needs to be more Considerate to its clients.
We have worked with Chris and Tammy for several years now with several different homes. They are the absolute best to work with. We have loved everything we have ever purchased with them. They have gone above and beyond in these crazy times when nothing is available. We cannot give enough emphasis to how amazing they are.
After spending a substantial amount of money with this company and being a customer for several years we will never do business with them again. Our leather sectional, that was more than $10,000 had multiple parts where the leather started to flake and peel. This was on our sectional that was less than a year old. We called dozens of times, never receiving a call back. Every time the employees stated that they would get back to us and never did. Ultimately, they told us that they could arrange to fix the couch if we would pay for the repairs. They don’t stand behind their furniture. We’re were really disappointed after being a client for years.
I ordered a substantially expensive bed in Oct of 2020. I was told it would be complete in 3 months. In the mean time I purchased some end tables,, a console table, recliner chair and very expensive bed spread. One month ago I asked to change my order to purchase off the show room floor. Told no you can not do that your bed is being worked on. My bed arrived in the store 2/19. I called, they did not call me. I am dealing with the lead designer, just so you understand the example that the others must achieve. I get a call on Monday and due to something about Texas they can not deliver until Friday. Friday am bed is at my house. I tell installer that is not the bed I ordered.I ordered a 64” headboard, don’t know got a tape measure. He calls designer, she talks to me and tells me that is too the bed you ordered. Basically she calls me a liar!. Take the bed out of my house. I go to store in the afternoon as she requested, I have to wait 30 minutes to talk to her,, after I ask for her 3 times. I show her the bed I want. Oh no you can not have that one and it will take until July to-get one. This is how they try to right a wrong......ha not at all. Got my money back and after 5 months I get to start over. And they could give a........! Worst customer service I have ever encountered! Furniture is pretty but I will never go back!
Very professional and straightforward. Tammy was truthful . Very refreshing.
If I could leave zero stars I would. It was a horrible experience! I stopped in to browse and found something I liked and was about to spend a substantial amount of money. I was concerned that half the staff, including the owner, were not wearing masks and the few that were had them below their nose. When I expressed my concern to the owner he justified it by saying he and a few staff had already had Covid. Not a good enough reason especially when he should have been setting an example for his employees. He was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. His last words to me were “I don’t really care and I don’t need your money”.
I bought a living room of furniture from Helm Home. All pieces were custom ordered. The furniture is fabulous.**The service at Helm Home is poor. The female that assisted us in choosing fabric was ditzy and unorganized. Once our fabric was chosen and furniture ordered, I requested fabric swatches. The designer forgot to order them and had an excuse that they must have been lost in the store. Each time I called to talked with the designer, she asked me to remind her who I was. When our furniture arrived, no know called to schedule delivery. I had to continually call and just so happened it had arrived. The delivery was made incorrectly. Helm only delivers M-F. There was no paperwork at delivery and no documentation provided by Helm of the fabric protection application or the company whom provided the service. This store has beautiful things but the service and communication is the worst I have ever had. I will use another store for my luxury furniture purchases. I would not recommend Helm Home.
Perfect place to furnish my home. Great quality furniture.
I have been in furniture sales and design for the better part of 30 years. I managed a high end showroom in Salt Lake City and Park City for many years. I was looking for something new, so, in approximately 2013 I met with Mark and Chris Ross about a potential design/Sales position with Thomasville-Drexel Heritage. My meeting with them went well. They asked if I would like to meet with their showroom manager because she will ultimately be the deciding factor. I cannot remember her name, however, I met with her immediately after my meeting with them. I explained to her that I had incredible references, had vast knowledge and talent in terms of furniture and design, and also explained my history and what I could bring to their business. She stopped me in my tracks and told me that she would not hire me. She did not want to hire a man. She did not like to work with men, and felt like a man would change their entire showroom feel. She wouldnt even look at my resume or references. I was stunned that she just told me that without thinking twice. I left her office and never heard from her or the Ross again. As I left the showroom and looked around, I noticed that their were no men working there other than the two owners. I had shopped there for years and purchased thousands of dollars worth of furnishings for my clients and never saw a man, other than the owners, working there. Why am I bringing this up now? With the world the way it is, and, all of the prejudice that we see, I thought that people should know who they are buying furniture from. I just went on the website and read their history and Bio and it just blows my mind that they can profess to be one thing when they have someone like this woman working for them. I live in Colorado now. I am, and always have been, very successful, and I had to put this behind me. Prejudice can be seen across the board. I am a better person for not working there.
We have furniture from Thomasville in many rooms of our house and I can easily say that the items we have purchased there are the best, highest quality pieces that we own. The difference in quality is easy to see. Because it’s made right, it actually looks better and I know it will last longer. Also, it’s so nice to be able to walk in and talk to a designer about colors, fabrics, and specific needs, without getting charged and without an obligation to buy something. The showroom is huge and the selection is great—lots of different styles, etc. It’s a Thomasville store, but they carry furniture from a ton of different manufacturers and have a lot of different styles available. For example, we bought a Bernhardt sectional in the same store and we love it. Chris, the owner of the store, is also really great to work with.
We love Thomasville! It’s pricey, but we view fine furniture as an investment, so we’re willing to pay for quality. Service is always friendly, and the designers are wonderful to work with. Tammy came out to our home to help us measure and visualize our sofa/sectional choice. What service!
WOW!! What a class act these guys are! Chris and Julie at Thomasville helped us find a new bed that was both stunning and within our budget (not an easy feat)! After having shopped countless stores and websites, their personalized attention and patience was the icing on the cake. Were totally happy with our experience and would recommend this store to anyone looking for high end furniture at a great price! Thank you!
I have purchased almost all of my furniture from Thomasville Home Furnishings. They helped me with my living room, family room, dining, bedrooms, theater room, and outdoor furniture. They have been professional and very easy to work with. They helped me with my design and decorating ideas, as their designers are excellent and very nice to work with. Whether you are doing a small job or your entire home I would highly recommend them to anyone. Best in the state!
I will only shop at this furniture store. They carry an amazing assortment of upscale furniture. They bend over backwards to accommodate. I furnished a home in Park City and am now furnishing a second home in Nevada. Chris (the owner) is trustworthy and honest. I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment
Thomasville Home Furnishings has the most beautiful showroom in Utah! They have several different styles and custom options for any buyer, and their prices and quality are unbeatable. They have amazing designers that help you achieve “designer looks” for your home. The owner of the store Chris Ross provides excellent service to all customers.
We have bought several pieces of furniture from Thomasville, and every time has been a great experience. Chris and his designers are kind and professional, and make the process easy! The furniture they carry is so beautiful, and the quality is unbeatable. We have loved everything that has come from them. We look forward to doing more business with them in the future!
I had the worst experience dealing with the owner Chris and interior designer Tammy. They utterly LIED to me and my husband; they told us If we spent a certain amount of money, they would give us 50% off the furniture. My husband was once a local celebrity, so I guess that scheme was merely a way to lure us in. As we were buying furniture, I notice that they only gave us 25-30%. I called around the country comparing prices with different furniture stores and I looked online, only to find out that Tammy had marked their prices extremely high to make it seem like they’d give us 50% off. I confronted her, but she said the other furniture stores marked their prices lower and she didn’t know how they could survive. When the furniture was delivered, I noticed a stain on a sofa. Tammy blatantly LIED and said she’d called the furniture store in Indonesia and they would take care of it. She later emailed me a picture of a stain remover. They sold us a leather chair that was a floor sample and put oil on it to make it look new, the oil faded the once teal green color. When I received the comforter that I had custom made, it was cheap and poorly made. There are so many things I can complain about.Again, my husband Tyrone Corbin was a local celebrity in Utah. As I googled his name one day, I was shocked to find out that Chris had posted pictures of the inside of our home and used my husband’s name to advertise their business. I was livid to say the least, because I felt like it was an invasion of our privacy, the house wasn’t finished, and we didn’t give them permission. I called Chris and he LIED and said he wasn’t aware of it and would tell his computer people to remove the pictures, but he didn’t do it. I called and complained to Tammy and she also said they would take the pictures down, but the pictures were still there months later. Finally, I called Thomasville headquarters and told them that I’d had enough and I was going to take them to court. The lady I spoke with said that’s bad business and although each store was individually owned, she would give Chris a call. The pictures were taken down. One star is the lowest rating I could give them, but that’s too high. They are the most deceptive people I have ever worked with.
I gave 1 star, but in reality the store management deserves “Zero” stars. In September 2017 we bought our beautiful master bedroom and the dresser is sinking down in the middle, I called to complain, they come over a couple of times said they’ll replace it and one year and a half later, after many complain and empty promises, they still didn’t do what they promised.Very disappointed!!!
As a Designer I usually choose to work with Thomasville. They are so easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and enjoyable to be around. I know that I can depend on them to do what they say they are going to do. That is very important to me personally and professionally.
These guys are awesome. They have great quality at a fair price and the design help is off the charts. I cant recommend them highly enough!!
Amazing people, amazing service! The delivery guys went out of their way and brought up my garbage cans from the street! Small acts of kindness goes a long way, I was really impressed!
Love the selection of furniture and home decorations. Awesome friendly service.
I have been very disappointed with the service and quality of the furniture I purchased at Thomasville. I have called three to five times and left messages for help with a couch. It had broken when we first purchased it and Thomasville came out and ‘fixed’ it. When a guest sat on the couch and there was a loud sound, I knew something had broken again. I do expect to pay for the repair- the couch is no longer under warranty. Not only will no one call me back, they interrogate me when I do call. Bad customer service, and poor quality. Buyer beware.
Over the years we have furnished three homes using Thomasville. (Two in Utah, and one in Las Vegas) I can’t say enough good about them. First of all, the showroom is spectacular! They carry only top of the line goods. Their designers are the real deal, they know what they are talking about and made selecting everything a breeze. Delivery guys were really careful and did a great job on every delivery. I now count Chris and the staff as friends, and wouldn’t consider shopping anywhere else.-Philpus and June Greco
Tammy Petty is the BEST designer!!!!!! I love all of the pieces I have purchased here. Great quality.
Very friendly, great showroom to browse and look at quality furniture,no pressure.thank you GE Castro
Friendly staff. Modest selection. Prices were pretty high for a Thomasville store.
Great customer service great people to work with.
Chris was rude to my wife and he is an owner. Dont even ask us about the sales lady there, what a joke. We ordered a couch and they didnt know where it was in the process after 6 weeks. We cancelled the order and they shorted us cash on the return. With that service I guess they need all the money they can get.
Our new coffee table is beautiful. Thank you, Chris.
Good selection
