The pharmacy itself isn’t bad but I’ve had the unfortunate luck of having to deal with the pharmacist “Meredith” the last two times I’ve had to fill here. The first time, my husband had just had his wisdom teeth removed. The tech, as well as Meredith, asked rather loudly what was the reason for the fill, “what procedure did you have that requires this drug?”. First of all, it obviously came from an oral surgeon. Secondly, you can run Kasper and see that my husband and I are not some habitual drug users. Lastly, my main issue with that visit was that it’s none of your business what it’s for nor the other patients waiting behind us. Very unprofessional and we are currently looking into any sort of privacy violations. I have an intense procedure coming up and had that been asked of me at the window after my surgery, I’d probably break down in tears. Extremely insensitive and unprofessional. Finally, my visit this evening. I had to have a maintenance medicine (not a controlled substance) called in here as my regular pharmacy was all ready closed. I had had a lower dose at Walmart previously and when my doctor increased it, we just left it at his buildings pharmacy. Not only did Meredith refuse to fill it, even after offering proof of my dose for the last year, I was again treated as if I was some sort of narcotics abuser. If I have talked my prescriptions over with my physician and we have weighed the pros and cons, why be difficult just because you can? She knew I had taken a lower dose before. Obviously there is a reason a higher dose was prescribed. Definitely done with this pharmacy and will be looking into further action.
They dont know what they are doing. Yes I know times can be stressful. However they know they have to forget their home life to work a job, thats the advice I got from a Walmart employee. They arent kind and they dont understand what pills I need even if I explained it 4 times.
Sometimes send text messages when stuffs not ready
I switched to Walmart recently for my prescriptions, and they have helped me save a lot on my monthly costs. They found quickly that 2 of my prescriptions were cheaper without the insurance (Something that I wasnt told at Walgreens) and they were able to advise me how to get a 90 day supply. Very helpful so far!
I read the reviews and I thought, surely these people cant be giving these people a fair chance. Boy was I wrong! Woman on the phone was rude, told me I had no refills, call my doctor-meanwhile Im staring at my bottle with one refill! Then she says well you could just buy it over the counter. Why would I pay $20 over the counter when its free with my insurance? I called Princeton Walmart, she was very nice and saw it and said shed take care of it. It took 2 seconds! Ill stick with Princeton.
Got a prescription filled for my dog. They were out of the strength I needed so they gave me a different strength and told me to just do half tablets. Since this medication was a combo drug the dosage is not a true half. They did not notice this error. They also changed the prescription WITHOUT consulting my vet first. I called and was told yeah we didnt call the vet, you are correct the dosage doesnt line up, but I dont think it matters that much. After calling the vet to make sure its okay, it is. But should never have been changed without permission from the vet.
Always have scripts ready and love, love, love Matt
We love our MKY pharmacy team @Murrray Walmart
Inconveint hours. There are no pharmacys open in town if person is coming from E.R. after 8pm. It takeslonger to get a Rx that is a controlled substance. One has to move to next window and wait after paying. The have been out of Ibuprofen 400mg.
I have used this Walmart Pharmacy for years now. Prior to this I used CVS pharmacy. I have never experienced any service issues that were any worse than at any other pharmacy Ive been to. The staff at this Walmart Pharmacy have always been as pleasant and courteous as possible. One of the primary pharmacists even remembered who I was by name over the phone, which surprised me. Issues i have experienced receiving my medication in a timely manner typically fell to my physician being overwhelmed and not calling it in within the time frame I was expecting. Working abnormal hours, I do wish the pharmacy could remain open later, if not 24hrs but considering the workload they are under on a daily basis I am pleased and grateful with how gracefully and professionally Ive witnessed them conducting their business. Likewise most of the general Walmart staff that I have encountered at this location have been pleasant, helpful, and kind in all encounters I have had. That being said Im one who approaches people with a pleasant demeanor and tries to understand what pressures those around me are under when disrupting someone from their daily tasks to ask for assistance.
Very unprofessional, unorganized and just a bad place to get your perceptions filled. Id give them zero stars if it was possible. They really need to get a hold of all of the people that work there and train them properly, their people skills suck, they dont know how to talk to someone when they are upset, and its just a down right bad place to go.
Very nice and informative over the phone.
They dont even deserve 1 star. They treat people like a pile of trash. They will lie to you. They will not help you . They are truly evil scum bags! :)
If you would like to visit a retail chain that has even 10% of the items on your list do not start here. Our local walmart generally stocks exclusively for the college students and when college is out good luck finding stocked shelves. 3 to 4 checkouts open on busy days so be prepared to wait in line 20+ minutes on most occasions, workers are extremely rude and never seem to know where their own inventory resides. Mu suggestion, go to kroger across the street and get your other needs elsewhere. This walmart doesnt even deserve one star
I rushed from urgent care, after being diagnosed with the flu, barely had the strength to make it in knowing they close at 8pm but got yo the drop off at 7:30pm and the guy, didnt see his name cause I wasnt thinking about that, looked straight around me without looking at my prescriptions saidYoull need to take those somewhere else,And I said I have the flu I need these medications tonight and he said Youll have to find a 24hr pharmacy nothing more nothing less. Rude and I will never go to that Wal-Mart again. Yes I contacted Corporate. Just poor people skills and he needs training. Still had 30 min left unti closing and no one was in line. Happened Tuesday March 8th 2016. And yes he knows he was very rude. The only reason it got 1star was so I could leave a comment.
Only two younger women are nice and professional, everyone else is rude and hateful
They are the rudest people to work in customer service
