My tire pressure indicator was malfunctioning. They found the broken indicator in the wheel well. They ordered a replacement & installed it quickly & efficiently. I am a repeat customer & would highly recommend them for all auto repairs.

Almost 7 years ago we rented a Penske truck that was returned to C&G Auto. They had superb customer service then, and its refreshing to see they still have that same level of service to this day! Once again we rented a 26 foot truck, this time picking up from C&G Auto. Awesome and personable only begins to describe how professional their staff and their service are.

I had a generic OBD code of P1450 on my Ford Fusion. The fuel pump would whine occasionally and the code would come back a few days after I reset it. I looked at the typical repair costs for a fuel pump and it was well over $1000. I made an appt for C&G and they repaired it in one day...a bad purge valve. The repair cost was about $350 and the very nice woman at the desk even redid the invoice and gave me a military discount. They also offer a 12 month 24K mile warranty. This was my first trip to C&G and I now know where to take my vehicles for future service.

I was on Vacation in Myrtle Beach when my breaks started smoking. I Immediately thought my vacation was ruined. Took my car to C&G, they quickly Diagnosed my problem and deemed it as minor. Did what needed to be done an sent us on our way free of charge! All while being super friendly and wishing us a nice vacation!

I recently put new tires on my car and a neighbor recommended C&G for an alignment. We dropped off the car and recieved the call that it was ready for pickup. They told me, after checking my car didnt need to be aligned and there would be no charge. They made a loyal customer of me with that. Its great to find an honest, trustworthy car repair shop. We needed our Class C RV serviced and a C&G employee (Anthony) suggested I try them. I had a 17 point inspection completed to include an oil change and service to the generator, along with installing new windshield wipers. I was pushed for time and they got me in and out per my expectations. The workmanship was excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. The cost was less than expected and feedback was excellent during the process. I would recommend giving the a try.

Scott and manager Tammy are thieves after having our friends pick up truck for 3 months and it was supposed to be ready after 1 week we learned they had broken our friends truck more and blamed them for it and then would not let them take their car off the property without paying and adding things to our bill without asking. This is discrimination just because they are hispanics because changing spark plugs is not $7,000

My girlfriend and I recently vacationed to Myrtle Beach. About 8 hours into a 12 hour car ride her air conditioning quit in her car. We found this place online, saw it had great reviews and went for it. They did not disappoint! They got her car in the day we brought it in and had the issue diagnosed by the afternoon. The car was ready the very next day, a day earlier than we expected which was great. They also graciously let us pick it up the following morning due to us being up the coast for the afternoon. We really appreciated their honest service.

C&g was recommended by my employer because I am new to the area. I am glad he did! They greeted me in a friendly manner when I got there and kept me updated about how the work on my truck was progressing. The price was very reasonable and while I was waiting a couple who was sitting beside me assured me that I had come to the right place. I will certainly go to them with all my automotive needs!

I am so thankful to have found C&G! I was leaving town after visiting family when my car started acting up to the point i did not feel comfortable continuing on my 6 hour drive. I pulled into a dealership and was given a $1500 quote. After tears and a call to my trusted shop at home I decided to get a second opinion from a local shop. My mom had recommended C&G. I spoke with Tammy and she was so patient and understanding. She quickly took down all of my information and what the dealership was saying was wrong and put together a quote for me. EXCELLENT SERVICE CENTER! First time using C&G Auto and Truck (since moving to the area) was an excellent experience, from getting an appointment to the actual service. Extremely friendly business and made me feel like family. Besides an oil change and tire rotation, I asked them to price a passenger side mirror. Within minutes, while I waited for my car to be serviced, they got me a price for the mirror and installation which was very reasonable. Going back next week to get it installed when it comes in. Everybody there was so wonderful.y car sat in their lot for about 3 weeks waiting for someone to pick it up. They helped us as much as they could. Very nice people. I wish we lived closer so we could come back to them with any vehicle issue.

BMW....YES!I dont feel comfortable letting just any mechanic work on the car so I shopped around for a BMW specialist. I got quotes from 3 places including the BMW dealer. I decided to take to one shop because they had good reviews. Well, after 4 days they hadnt even looked at it. I just told them to forget it and I started over.I went to YELP and saw C&G had very high marks. Come to find out they have a BMW certified mechanic on duty and hes also a BMW enthusiast, so I felt good about going there.Gary is very friendly and treated me like an old friend from the very beginning. We are new to the area. We have an older (1987) BMW and it was in need of a new timing belt, water pump and belts. I also thought my alternator may be going bad. Gary said they would check it all out.He asked me to bring the car in the morning and he would have it finished the same day. Sure enough at around 4:00 I was told the car was finished and it did NOT need an alternator as mine tested good. They replaced all the belts while they were in there as I had asked. They ended up getting all the work done plus two other issues and were $200.00 less than the BMW specialty shop.A FIVE STAR EXPERIENCEI never look forward to having cars repaired, but I know with C&G, I will get quality work, reasonable rates, friendly folks, honesty, respect and NO DRAMA. C&G is where we will go from now on. Thanks Gary and all the staff!They are 30 min from our condo in NMB and I probably pass 40 shops to get to C&G. You cant go wrong here. Had my car towed in at about 2:30 today (Friday) fully expecting to have to wait several days to even get checked... which is the normal routine for the dealership guys. Luckily C&G was recommended to me by some associates of mine... they diagnosed the problem and repaired it before they went home for the evening... and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. Great place! We came here without an appointment on a busy Friday. The front office and service manager were really great about assuring us they could work us in to check out the noises we were getting from the front end of our Ford transit cargo van. Gary, the service manager, and the tech who examined the car all spent time with us to understand what we were hearing and eventually explain what was happening and how it was to be fixed. The quote we received was very good (20-25% cheaper than what the Ford dealer quoted over the phone for the same work). We would definitely trust these guys with our cars in the future.

I cant say enough good things about this company! I had an issue with with our Land Rover, not only did C&G fix the issue, they gave me options to help minimize cost if I wanted to go that route. As soon as they had determined what the issue was Geary called prior to doing any work. He explained what the issue was, what else may need to be done, estimated cost and estimated repair time. I was kept informed throughout the process. I was so pleased with my experience I took another vehicle there and have been telling neighbors and friends that i have found an a great mechanic! These people are amazing. I wish I could give a higher rating. I had my car repaired at a dealership earlier and needed it to be serviced and checked out before starting on an over 1000 mile trip.I had used their online registration form the night before. I got a very pleasant phone call early the next morning with an appointment.I arrived and told them what I needed. They immediately took my truck to the back and started. After a few minutes, Mr. Gary came and asked me if I had had some axle work done earlier. He explained that a cable was forgotten to be placed back into position and it was dangling on the boot. We caught it in time before any damage could be done. He even offered to show me. We went out and he explained everything in detail.I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

Called and scheduled an appointment to change my oil, I asked how much it would be for synthetic oil and I was told $42. Wow, that is an amazing price, awesome set me up the appointment.I get to the shop, the front desk was very nice to me. I overhead them on the phone while I was waiting say that they were very short staffed that day. I wait 34 minutes for them to bring my car to the back, even with my appointment. It than took another 44 minutes to change the oil. I go up to pay and the front desk says that it will be $87.05, interesting since I was told on the phone earlier that it would be $42 and that was the only reason I decided to go there. 2 stars because the staff was nice. I was not impressed with the wait time WITH AN APPOINTMENT and being told different prices.

This is the BEST Company we have found that Warranties its work. Our Mini Cooper was leaking oil, had all new gaskets put in. A few months later other spot started leaking. They fixed it with no problem. Thanks to the C & G Employees.

I would like to take this opportunity to share something that may be of interest to someone getting ready to get their car repaired here...Im not from myrtle beach but my van would not start and gary worked on it and got it fixed and told me if I ever had any trouble to call him..about a year later the same thing happened again and I had to get it repaired..I called gary and told him about it and he said the next time I was at myrtle beach to stop in and show him the.new relay that they installed..so I did..and the mechanic said the reason it went bad is because rain and moisture got to it and caused it to rust...after I showed it to gary he refunded my money and told me if I had another problem dont bother him...I even told him he could call the mechanic that repaired it and he said no...I cant tell you how much that hurt me...I honestly thought he was a man of his word and seemed like a very nice .decent and reputable guy but I found out different ...and Im not going to say anything else about him other than it really hurt my feelings and I actually thought he was a friend and a good guy!!!!

We had a screw in a tire while on vacation that made our tire go flat. After calling around, they promised to get us right in...and they did. They repaired it the right way, too. Took the tire off the rim and patched it, not just the plug and pull method. It was only $22 and even topped off the washer fluid for free. Very thankful for quick, affordable, and very friendly service when out of town.

My husband popped our brand new tire as we were arriving for vacation. I needed a specific tire to replace the damaged one and they were able to order it for me and they were able to install it the same day. Kudos to c&g tire and auto!!! No one else in the myrtle beach area was able to help us get this tire. If you ever need them they are wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend this shop!!!!

Had previously brought our truck here with no issues. This time we had the part and needed it replaced. We talked with them about price and told them to call if it went above a certain amount. They didnt. We spoke about having a diagnostic when we dropped it off yet one never got done. They told us they test drove it after replacing the part and it was running well. We payed and picked it up and it barely made it home. Called them to tell them the truck wasnt working right. They said the mechanic noticed something wasnt right when they test drove it.... but didnt say anything when we picked it up and paid for it. Wont be returning.

Had a small by pass heater hose to bust had antifreeze leaking pretty bad and came by and asked Gary about it and they checked it out and replaced my hose added new clamps refilled it with antifreeze and was back on the road in 30 minutes. The air conditioning on my truck went out on Saturday traveling from Virginia about 3 hrs before we got to our destination Garden City. It was 95° on Sat. and Sun. Found C & G on the Internet and liked the reviews I read. Monday was July 3rd and I drove to their business about 9:30am on Monday. They would be closed for the 4th of July, they were busy but they went ahead worked me in and diagnosed a blown AC hose. They checked on the pricing for the part, located it and gave me a reasonable estimate. They replaced the hose, vacuum tested it, and recharged my AC. The AC on my truck is colder than ever. Great folks, polite, courteous, and professional. A great big thanks for taking care of us on a busy holiday week.

This is the repair shop you always wish for. Responsive, friendly, clean, fast, honest, competent. I took my 2 year old honda civic there because the air conditioner appeared to need coolant. They found it was really a serious leak somewhere in the system. They called Honda to ensure my car was under warrenty. They sent me there so the expensive repair would cost nothing. And they did not charge for their work to inspect and identify the problem. You better believe I will take my car there again the next time it has a problem.

I know I used to cringe when I had to bring my car in anywhere for a repair but at C & G they not only are friendly and knowledgeable, they are honest and stand behind their work. C & G auto is a business I would like to do business with. Unfortunately, they dont repair transmissions. Their staff is very friendly and businesslike. Alida took down my information and my wife and I prepared to wait. After a few minutes, when it appeared they couldnt check out my suv right away, she offered to drive us back to our condo. This was great. Since we are from Ohio and on vacation, we would have had to rent a car. She even said she would pick us up when the repairs were finished. When they diagnosed an internal transmission problem, Alida called and asked if we would care to call the transmission shop next door. Even though they couldnt repair our vehicle, C & G took care of us.

I am new and went here because advance told me its close by. I looked it up and saw all the top ratings.. I wish i could give it 10 stars.I was so impressed how i was treated and he took his time to explain my problem after checking it out and there was no charge. Another auto place wanted 100.00 to check it out.

Came for an oil change and a brake check. Had been to Nissan dealer for a recall and they said the car needed brake pads and rotors replaced ($458 and $260, respectfully). C&G mechanic took me into the shop and showed me the state of the brakes and said the pads needed replacing but the rotors were fine. Total $376 for oil and pads and car is running like a top.

I reviewed this establishment on surecritic because Ive used that review site before with the same results. And with the experience I had and comments made by the owner I knew he probably wanted me to put a bad review as he stated Ouch Knew this was coming. It essentially lets you review and then the owner writes anything after you submit your review to make their business look good with no way to adjust your review or make comments towards their false statements to make them look good. So lets break down his review (that had some false information). I took my car with a check engine light while on vacation. With no way back we took our bikes and had to ride miles back to the hotel never offered any services for transportation, we didnt ask either but customer service would promote these options. He states Three C&G employees invested roughly 90 minutes diagnosing this could be true because my car was there several hours. Then states communicating with his warranty company and the local dealership I called the preferred warranty company twice and was told they had no contact from C&G at all, could he be talking about another warranty company Im sure but I was not informed. He states they communicated with the local dealership, some truth they called with a vague statement that left them with no idea if I should take my car there or not and when contacted they stated they didnt receive enough information to help me make that decision. He states He was not pleased with our $50.00 diag charge which is false not once did I dispute the charge, my paper with diagnostic was thrown in the trash before I could even pay nor was I asked for payment, a paper when taken to the dealership was looked over by the dealership to which gave them no information of what could even be the start to what is wrong. At the same time he states There was no rudeness or raised voices no he didnt yell but he missed the part where he threw my keys and ripped the paper away then proceeded to ignore all questions as if my family didnt exist, which leads me to the next part he states malign C&G when all I did was state my experience, his actions, and my observations, I stated how I felt his malign actions were, none of which were towards the business but how I was treated by him and my words to describe his actions were blunt rather than making his actions seem acceptable to the situation. He left out the part where I said I wasnt trying to hurt his business while sharing my experience but put insight to how he treated a customer. Being the owner I knew my review would have no value to him as I stated before most small business use surecritic so they can edit your review to make you look as your in the wrong no matter how horrible your experience was. Would I recommend C&G no I wouldnt not how I was treated or how he acted in front of my wife and young child. Am I thankful he didnt ask for payment, yes. Should anyone be treated like that for asking about your car, the whole reason you took it there, no. Is his business good, Im sure it is the reviews show that.
