I can genuinely say itβs one of the best and most pleasant experiences Iβve had dealing with an automotive place. Eric was funny, quick, and great! I called on a Monday mid-day for an oil change that was badly needed. They told me to bring it in snd they would work it in.Within an hour and a half they were done.Nothing but courtesy from the first phone call to pick-up. Thank you William and the crew.
I recently took my truck to several different mechanics and nobody could figure out the issue. I took it to sears, they took it back and had an answer for me in 30 min. It was an issue that the dealer could only fix. They didnt charge me and suggested the dealership should fix it for free since its a major safety issue. Went to dealership next day. They ignored the diagnosis, charged me to look at it after waiting a couple hours, and then told me they couldnt figure it out. Also the next time it shuts down while Im driving, just bring it back and we will look at it again!! Today.... Im buying a new truck, will go to sears with all our vehicles. These guys are honest, friendly, and always try to give you a good deal. Even if they charge more than a small shop down the road, I would gladly pay more for the quality of service I get from this place. Hands down the best experience weve had with any mechanic around here.
Stopped in because my TPMS light went off. I expected to be pressured into an unnecessary service. Eric checked my pressure, added necessary air, calibrated the system, and resolved the issue without any further expense.Its rare to find service without hassle. Especially for being a tourist.Thank you!

All Wheel Drive alignment on 2008 Honda Element . rear tires always wearing out on inside took it to Sears Auto. the alignment you could tell right away was perfect. 6 months later now ..the rear tires still look new..
I stopped by to get the air in my tires checked because the light kept coming on...long story short, the manager Chris had his shop guy (I didnt get his name) look at it, then fix it right on the spot with a very short wait...would definitely recommend to a friend and go back if needed...very knowledgeable, quick, and friendly service. Had flat tire with a very big hole by one of the old screwed tools. We had no idea how that tool got in our tire deeply. Found this place closed later than other places at 7:00. They Very helpful, kind people, good services and good prices. =) definitely recommented

I was driving home to Virginia on the 16th of May and the heat shield under my car began to drag. I stopped by Sears Auto Center, the manager was very friendly, pulled my car right in and repaired the issue at no cost. Outstanding customer service!

Didnt have the battery I needed. Said probably couldnt get it, only get batteries twice a month. Went to Autozone battery in stock, they put it in. Have always bought Diehard batteries, no more.

This is the MOST AMAZING car center I have ever been to in my life.I had previously gotten an oil change on my Honda Accord at a Wal-Mart auto center where they over tightened and stripped my oil pan to the point that they couldnt perform a new change without risking the oil pin/bolt falling out or a leak being created. Being right before a hurricane the Wal-Mart was pacted and after waiting over 3 hours I received a call informing me that they would not being servicing my vehicle. I drove immediately to the Sears auto center where CJ and the manager Chris were immediately ready to assist me.I have never had quicker service and responses to my requests. After taking a quick look at my car it was VERY apparent that my oil pan was completely stripped and would need to be replaced. I went from needing (right before a hurricane evacuation) a $40 oil change to needing well over $450 worth of work on my car, with a part that would take at least a day to order. The manager Chris explained that he could do a temporary fix which would allow me to drive my car up until my next oil change, and then he proceeded to complete the task in less than 30min with no additional charges. The damage that Wal-Mart auto center had done and the thought of needing to spend hundreds on my car had me panicked but Chris not only assured me that my vehicle would be fine but that everything else would be as well.I will be returning to this auto center to have the additional work thats needed for my car and will be using this location for all of my future services. I have never received better customer service and care. The work they did was outstanding and extremely efficient. The employees are a Godsend and truly are there to help you and provide you with amazing service, and not just push customers through in attempt to make as much money as possible like many of their other competitors. This is hands down the best service I have received and would recommend the Sear Auto Center to anyone.Thank you Chris, CJ, and all of the employees at Sears!
Sorry I cant give this place a zero. Overcharged for a repair, then they destroyed my transmission by not having a tight reconnection.I thought Sears was a safe place to go when your out of town, well not this one.
We used Sears Auto for a long time as they were reliable and we could receive emergency service from any location. Over the past six months we have twice had issues when they aligned the tires on our vehicle. Both times we had to take the vehicle back which wasted our precious time. Both times they didnt care that our time was wasted. We will be looking for a new service provider who cares about their customers. Avoid them unless you want to be thrown in the gutter.
I was on my vacation in Myrtle Beach last week, and my battery light came on. The good news was there was Sears Auto nearby, and they replaced my Alternator at a very reasonable price. I am very grateful to them, and I was able the enjoy the rest of my vacation. Thank you very, very much!!!
They were able to diagnose my problem right away and gave me a great deal on a new battery. Their customer service is outstanding and they do great work. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to service their car/truck in the Myrtle Beach area.

Our Sears Automotive experience today was great. Wal xxxx closed its doors on us at 5:30pm. So the wife and I went over to near by Sears Automotive in Coastal Grand Mall center. Where we met Jack and another associate. Low and behold it was a computer reset issue and did not need to be serviced. These representatives could have tried to take our money but instead gave us some unaware information about the vehicles equipment. They saved us 30 dollars this time which well spend with them next time. Jack Tessa gave me his card in case of any future problems. Nice conversion guys you earned our business. See you next time

Driving to Myrtle Beach I experienced a mysterious loss of engine coolant. The Sears Auto staff properly diagnosed the problem and made the necessary repairs the same day for a fair price. The professional, friendly and competent staff saved my vacation.
They are over priced for their work as mechanics. Would not recommend them to anyone. When calling you have to call several times just to get an answer.
Rude and lazy. I go to get my tired CHANGEDAnd Im greeted with a fat ride slob who wants to know if I really want my tire changed...yes, I know what a tire change means! Soon after he questions me Do you know what size tire it is?.....throught that was your job?? After 30 Seconds of meeting this person I am offput. Turns out they cant service me because they require a chip reader! Get with the times..Im glad I didnt do business with them! Would recommend NTB over these fools any day..they were kind, patient and professional..something that this place is NOT!

I had recently got a brake job done at my home Sears in Frederick, Md. In the last 15mins of my trip to Myrtle Beach I noticed an unusual grinding in my brake pedal and took it to the Myrtle Beach Sears. They did a fantastic job and, though they did not find anything wrong with my bakes, made me feel like I wasnt an imbecile.

Went in to get an alignment, while doing the alignment they could not unscrew the nut on the tire rod so they used fire to heat the metal to unscrew it. while doing so they melted the CV Boot and now it is leaking grease everywhere. when confronted with it, the machanic stated that he will fix it if approved by magnagment The manager TONY refused to do anything about it.Alignment is still pulling to the right when taken back the second time i waited two hours and still the alignment is not fixed.horrible service, completely unsatisfied and now need to spend $ and time to fix new problem that they caused!NEVER go there, dont spend time nor money. use alternative local shops!
At first is was a horrible experience because my father had bought a lifetime front end alignment warranty from Sears in 1993 . He took the van in for an alignment and the Mgr Carl Salzer said the warranty would no longer be honored because Sears didnt do the ball joint replacement. They had already done numerous alignments since the replacement. The actual contract didnt state anything that said all worked had to be performed at Sears. The Mgr. said that has always been the rule. If it was then it should been put down on the agreement in 1993. If it isnt on paper it doesnt exist legally. When all was said and done on 3/11/2015 at 12:00 pm Carl Salzer agreed to honor the warranty agreement. Sears made it right and that is what we were only wanting.
To be honest, they do good work, very, verrrrry slowly.

I have been having my oil changed at Sears for some time. Today, despite them having the oil change advertised at $36.99, I was charge $51.00. I was told the filter was not included. That has NEVER been the case at Sears. Never will I spend a dime there again.
