Most authentic Mexican food Ive ever had in the United States! This place has an extremely affordable lunch buffet. They get busy with laborers eating lunch, so dont expect a swept floor, ambience or a hot looking performer singing latin music.The pozole is great.

My wife is half Mexican, so while driving by she said stop there right now. I dont speak Spanish but everyone was polite the music was nice the store was clean if a bit cluttered, and the food in the adjoining buffet restaurant was good a little spicy but good. Theres also a butcher shop at the back of the store for cuts of meat. I can vouch its not bad I would come back if I lived here. Not to mention my wife loved her food and bought a cake she left pleased.

My fiancé and I love to go here on the weekends when they serve homemade carnitas and chicharones. Their housemade salsas and sauces are a great pair to the carnitas when we go home and make tacos 🌮 or burritos 🌯with it for dinner. Everyone is really nice here and there is a variety of ingredients, cheeses, meats, produce, sauces, canned goods, desserts, etc available at this store. We will definitely always make this one of our favorite go to places. 😍

Their grilled whole chicken, weekends only, is the best Ive ever had. The pozole and the house made chorizo is outstanding.

Without a doubt the best carnitas in SC!!Extremely clean, outstanding staff.Our waitress took the time to make small conversation.. She checked on us several times and refill our drinks as needed..I highly recommend it.

This is real Mexican food. They bake the breads, Carnitas on the weekends. The store has everything you need to make traditional Mexican dishes. Butcher in the back. Prices are reasonable. This place reminds me of back home. The people are so nice every time we go.

I ordered steak tacos and they were great! The people are very friendly too. If you want truly authentic Mexican food try this place!

Definitely not returning to eat at Mi Mexico.This spot was my and my familys go to place when we are visiting Myrtle Beach, but thats no longer the case.Not sure what happened to the service and food quality. But from the time we arrived something didnt seem right. Waited 15 minutes just to get our drink order and menus, when we finally got the drinks the 3 ice waters we asked for all had stuff floating inside the cup (nasty!!!), 25 minutes wait to get 3 gorditas, a choripollo and some 2 plain scrambled eggs. The gorditas had barely any meat in them and whatever was there had lots of fat on it and made it taste weird.All that aside, we werent too upset as we understand we all had off days and not everything goes well all the time, however, we were surprised yet again when it came time to pay for our food, the 2 ladies at the register charged us $12 for the choripollo which is listed on their menu at $10 plus its supposed to come with rice and beans and ours did not come with beans (we asked our waitress about it and she said she would have to charge extra for beans, even though it is clearly not what it says on their menu). Then we had ordered 2 plain scrambled eggs for our son and they said that this would cost $8!!! (Which we were ok because it would mean our son would be ok and get to eat but its still a bit of a rip off IMO) but to make matters even worse when she gave us the total for the order she had charged us $8 PER EGG, it wasnt until I had to ask about it that they said it had been a mistake and agreed to refund $8 without tax. But not before trying to say that the total was correct. They totaled it up for us 3 times and not once caught the mistake until I brought it up and asked them if they really charged $8 PER EGG.At the end of the day I think they just hope that you dont notice this type of stuff so they can earn a few extra dollars, that, OR their staff is very poorly trained and not knowledgeable about their own menus which I guess is not far fetched but it is difficult to believe everyone is so unaware.My family and I will no longer patronize nor recommend this establishment because of how bad the service was and the way they attempted to make a few extra dollars from us. Illegal and immoral practices.

Horrible experience here. Our first indication that this restaurant has gone downhill is that it took 15 minutes for us to have our drink orders taken and menus brought to us; the restaurant was not busy and we were one of four tables of 3-4 people. Flies inside buzzing around your head, landing on food. Three of us got ice waters to drink, all three had particles of what looked like food residue. We had to go buy bottled drinks instead, but again, not a huge deal for us. We asked how much it would be for some scambled eggs on the side, and the waitress said 8.00 for one order, which we ordered for our hungry son. The food rolled out after about 25 minutes: 3 gorditas, a choripollo and the side of scambled eggs. The gorditas carnitas were barely acceptable at best: the meat was full of fat and left a grisly taste in your mouth. The choripollo, which was supposed to come with rice and beans per the menu, arrived with only rice on the side. I asked the waitress if it came with beans and showed her a menu, and she said no it didnt. How can your menu say Served with rice and beans, and salad, but then you serve it without? (Look at their menu, many dishes state rice AND beans) She informed us it would extra to get the beans. The choripollo was alright, but the chorizo was also fatty and grisly with not a lot of flavor. We went to pay, disappointed but not upset- we just agreed we probably wouldnt be back.The kicker was this: at the cashier, they tried charging us $12.00 for the choripollo (which was $10 on the menu, AND they had shorted us the side of beans). My husband caught it while leaving and the lady at the register fixed it, unhappily. Then we reviewed our reciept: THEY CHARGED US $16.00 FOR TWO SCRAMBLED EGGS! We were soooooo stunned. We went inside assuming they were errors. Nope, the cashier said we had ordered two scrambled eggs and that each egg was $8.00. First off, we ordered an 7order of scambled eggs- secondly, $8.00 was a bit much for an order of eggs to start, but we said okay so our son could eat happily- but to lie and say we agreed to pay $16.00 for two scambled eggs is nuts. After a bit of back and forth she refunded it (without tax).Dont waste your time here, seriously. Check Poblanita or really any other Mexican restaurant. The food here is overpriced, poorly prepared and they will knowingly try to RIP YOU OFF.

A great mexican mart with so many things! They have all kinds of meats and a great little mexican restaurant. Their tacos are sooo good. Especially the lengua tacos! So fresh and the closest things Ive had to an authentic tijuana street taco! Oh, the homemade corn tortillas are delicious!! Definitely give this place a try if you enjoy good Mexican food!
