For a while the staff here was going down hill so i stopped coming for x amount of months. Came in yesterday and this very sweet young women named Ali helped me find everything I needed and never once did I feel rushed or did Ali seem annoyed (like some of the old staff) thank you Ali! Of course when traveling with my lady, we need to shop for beauty products like lipstick 💄. After driving around Myrtle Beach looking for beauty supply stores many were closed most likely for Covid-19 in a tourist town. Thankful Ulta Beauty was open and more importantly stocked! Suspect this store was able to survive being in a shopping 🛍 mall

Jenn and Brittany have both done my hair at the salon. I recommend both of them to all of my friends! Every time I come in for a cut or color service, they make me feel right at home and I leave looking like a million bucks! I cannot say enough great things about them.

I love ulta and I think its my favorite beauty store. I could be in there all day without getting bored!

I got an exceptional haircut from Jennifer today. There was a snafu with my appointment which was not in the books and then turned out to be scheduled for next weekend. Long story. However Jennifer squeezed me in and I was extremely happy with the quality of my haircut. She also demonstrated a blow-dry tip to add chunky waves to my hair, that I cant wait to try. Great experience, I highly recommend Jennifer at Ulta.

I am not a makeup fanatic or know much about it but needed foundation and a few other things. When it came to shade matching me (prior to covid) Id always end up with a more yellow color than my actual color. So yesterday I go in (at coastal grand mall) and ask someone to help shade match me the best they can since things have changed. The gentleman helping me was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I forgot to catch his name BUT for me he recommended the bare minerals complexion rescue in the shade birch. When I tell you this is spot on ITS SPOT ON. I have combo to oily skin and this foundation is just what I needed. Just from looking at me he matched me perfectly! Thank you so much!!

Great experience as always. Used my ulta rewards, saved 167.00. Got a BaBaliss flat iron and Redkin product for total of about 7.50. Awesome

I have had horrible acne sense I was very young and I finally decided to start trying out facials a few months ago and amber does my facials ever month now! she is absolutely amazing and a totally sweetheart! She will tell you about what you need done to your face to beat suit you and won’t try to suck your money dry with the most expensive thing if you don’t need it and i appreciate it so much cause it gets so annoying when people do that! she goes above and beyond with customer service and deserves more recognition. my face has been the clearest it has ever been in years and it has boosted my self confidence so much and I couldn’t be more thankful for her!

Great store, not as many willing people to help you as some of the other Ultas I’ve been to, they were still very well stocked and I’m sure would have answered any questions that we had.

The salon girls do terrible hair and today they were rude and left me standing at the counter when all I needed was to ask a question! Never even acknowledged me. She was on the phone and went straight back to doing something else without asking me anything or even making eye contact!!! At the checkout the kid didnt use my coupon and I will not be doing back there!!

I usually have a great experience at Ulta located at coastal grand mall but tonight was different. I waited at the cash wrap to be checked out for about ten minutes before I had to go and find someone and ask to be checked out. Meliah checked me out and was so rude. She didnt look up at me one time, didnt apologize for me having to wait, didnt thank me or invite me back in. Maybe it was a bad day but I dont think someone with that attitude should be in customer service.

Every time I come here their customer service is great! The latest time I was greeted as soon as i walked through the door. The lady helped me exchange the products I recieved (damaged) from the website. It was easy and quick. Definitely will go here again instead of ordering online!

High end cosmetics. Well staffed and friendly. Inside mall area. Parking is free and handicap accessible. They carry products hard to find elsewhere. Trendy clientele with $$$ prices. Well lit and decorated tastefully. Visible from where I parked. I bought the hair serum I was seeking. Discount item shelf had products I do not consider discounted. If you are into cosmetics with high end brands and variety this store is for you.

I have specific compliments for the young hair dresser named Regina. She is wonderful and is amazing at her job. Not to mention, shes funny and gorgeous. I loved my results and would never go anywhere else to get my hair done ever again.

Had some weird experiences in this Ulta. Went a few times and sometimes its good and sometimes it just sucks. The employees are wonderful depending on the ones that are working. I notice some follow the ones not wearing makeup assuming they are stealing which is pretty messed up. I even get followed sometimes and when I wear makeup and have an expensive purse Im not being followed anymore. Whats up with that? They are always helping out though and some are friendly people. The following thing just bugs me because I want personal space when I shop and not someone up my butt the whole time.

I should have read reviews first, my mistake. Manager is very rude with no people skills he is the young man that is there. I paid for salon services I should have refused to pay for. I was very disappointed but I thought I would give them a try. The girl was confident & nice but dont have the skills needed unless you have nice hair to start with. When I didnt like that I looked the same when I came in I was asked to leave. I ended up paying almost $40 for a trim. This was first time I didnt review a place first. I wont make that mistake again!

Poor service I was in town on vacation and was in need of product employees are very rude and no help. Instead of asking if I needed help she asked very rude what do I need, and when I asked another employee for help instead of showing where the product was she pointed in a direction and said over there. Ulta is new to the state I live in and all the workers are respectful and very helpful if I was to Experience what I experienced here in South Carolina I probably never would step foot in another Ulta ever again...but for the time that I’m here I’ll take my service to Sephora.

Very unprofessional staff. Extremely rude treatment, as apparently were not allowed to use the testers! I was attempting to diagnose my friends skin type and find products that work with her, as her skin is difficult to diagnose, even by a professionals standards. This old woman with mousey gray/black hair and black, drawn on eyebrows employed there rudely came up, said we spent too much time in the store playing with makeup and that we needed to move. She even added onto her statement, saying my friends makeup was worse for wear, direct quote! Completely unnecessary. She couldve used much friendlier statements. I agree that we spent probably close to 45 minutes in there, but we were fully intending on spending $100+. She needs to learn what customer service is, because she lost a big sale. Would not reccomend this location.

Store was laid out very nicely, however, after asking an employee a very simple question, I got an unwarranted snarky remark. She was absolutely no help to me and her manner of speaking was extremely condescending and rude. After that short conversation I put everything I had in my hands away and left the store. Management shouldnt be hiring people with poor attitudes and awful customer service I will not be returning to this particular Ulta.

I absolutely love Ulta... as soon as you walk in the door youre greeted and can feel the love. They have everything from skincare to perfumes to all things makeup.

I always get my haircut at the Ulta at Coastal Grand. I traditionally have gone to a barber shop. But the ladies at Ulta won me over.

Love ulta I just wish this location had the eyebrow bar like the other locations.

Terrible customer service. Have shopped Ulta for years. Tried to make an exchange without a receipt, and they refused. So much for being a loyal customer.

I will never visit or call this (Coastal Grand Mall) store again. The staff there are so unprofessional and rude. The staff at Coastal Grand Mall Needs to take pointers and lessons from the girls at the Sayebrook store, as they far surpass Coastal Grands employees. SMH

My friend and I were visiting this Ulta and as anyone who was looking to buy makeup, we were sampling their products. After a while, the employees were beginning to talk about how we were sampling makeup. We had decided that we no longer had interest in buying products from Ulta. As we began to leave, one of the employees was standing near the door. And as expected the employee was talking into their radio about how we shouldnt have been sampling their products.I would NOT recommend going to the Ulta at Coastal Grand Mall. The employees are very rude and unprofessional.

The associates have bad customer service. They do not follow through with their signs. I work in retail and whatever the sign says is what you do for the customer. They claimed everything was out of stock. I personally saw the full tub of mascara I was supposed to get free that they could have given to me like the sign said. It was a full tube of $23 tarte mascara was what the sign said I would get free if I spent $35. And they gave me a benefit brow gel that is only .03 ounces as a substitute. That is not a $23 value. I will never go there again or recommend anyone to go to this ulta.

There customer service is awful my two children ages 9 and 10 were outside in there dumpster which is not illegal in our state but the general manager came out and asked us to leave I apologized and said ok well this unprofessional woman starts yelling at my 10 year old that she has her on camera stealing a naked palette and that shes calling the cops etc so I tell her go ahead and call them because my child hasnt even entered your store and I would like to see the video and when there isnt one because my child one isnt a thief and two never entered the store Im calling corporate well shes totally ignoring me and keeps yelling at my child so I just put my kids in the car and leave before I went to jail its ridiculous I will never shop here again
