Great place to shop. The prices are great and reasonable especially if you have the food lion card. Its the only place I shop. Cheaper than Walmart. And the food lion brands are great depending on the item some things taste like its name brand. But of course some things you have to get the name brand lol but they have great deals and prices!

Food Lion was excellent. They had everything in stock on my list. Plenty of cashiers were available to take care of the number of customers present.September 28, 2021:I had the pleasure of grocery shopping at this Food Lion location this evening and had a great experience. I would like to mention my cashier, Savannah, Martin, Shawn the Security Guard, and the Assistant Manager Scott. They provided excellent customer service for me as I had some issues with digital coupons. They quickly, kindly, and efficiently took great care of me and made me feel important, thus making me want to return to this store again and recommend it to all! They keep the store pretty well-stocked and have reasonable prices and regular discounts/sale items. Its also nice to go through checkout with friendly cashiers instead of being forced to use self checkout like some places.

Nice and clean grocery store. We came to pick up snacks and drinks to have in our hotel kitchen. Everything was easy to find and the employees were very helpful.

Was awesome they are located so close to all the hotels and the strip. But sadly they dont offer a lot of the variety of things in most grocery stores. But if you are needing to get a couple of basic items great place. But if you are going to be at the beach for at least a few days or longer, Id recommend the Walmart grocery store thats only a mile up the road.

Nice clean Food Lion. Most of Employees are friendly. I only shop here in the Mornings.The Clientele shifts gears in the later hours. I can see why they have a Security Guard.

I wont return. Why bother posting signs at the entrance telling customers to wear masks. Many customers and several staff members had none or wore them improperly. If youre not like these people and do have family, friends, or acquaintances with health concerns that you want to do your part to protect...recommend you find another store to grocery shopping.

Sold out of everything i wanted well needed shelves were empty rude customer service when I asked where the plastic silverware was located and the reason I couldnt fine it was due to it being sold out. Overall they need to close came kut with 60 bucks and not even 1 pack of meat I was over charged after the lady said she scanned her discount card I got to the car she didnt when I went back in side they said it was to late and couldnt fix it once checked out. This is a last 4 me i will definitely go to piggly wiggly next time. Food lion here r a joke. Smh

Come to this store every year, we visit. Always had what we needed. Good selection of products, decent prices. Theyll let you use their store loyalty card for discounts. Employees are friendly. Area might be a little sketchy.

This was a very well-stocked and clean store. I was a bit reluctant to go to it because I was unfamiliar with this grocery store chain, but it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very nice and helpful. There was also ample lighted parking.

Food Lion is Normally great but today in the deli an obviously new woman was ignoring me and her coworker told her to help me she finished sweeping the floor then cut my deli with her mask on her chin

My cashier was talking to 3 other employees while she was ringing me up and didnt even interact with me . She was more worried about talking junk about other employees . Which in my head is very rude and not nice at all. I work with the public and it was not a good experience at all.

Run of the mill food lion. Nothing more and nothing less than the others. I did quite like some of their hot sauce options though. I havent been to one in a hot minute but it was exactly like I remembered it.

I love my Myrtle Beach Food Lion! Just like home. Friendly cashiers, clean well stocked store, accessible bathrooms well maintained. We stay in a resort and I cook our meals (I love to cook, and we have dietary restrictions) so this is always my first stop to pick up meal food and snacks and drinks. Its like 7 blocks from our place. GREAT place.

I have spent thousands of dollars here over the last 20 years. Today I was only able to purchase cheese due to forgetting my cash at home. I returned an hour later to pick up the rest of my items and was immediately greeted by the same cashier who checked me out earlier. She left her register to approach me. I told her I did not need help but thank you. I then spotted her crouching down to peek at me while I was loading my turmeric into my basket. It was plainly obvious she thought I had returned to steal. I proceeded to her checkout and placed my items on the conveyor and she rang me up. She asked if I had an MVP card, which I do, but to make a point that I dont need a discount let alone steal I told her I did not. The gentleman behind me said to her that I could use his unless she wanted to scan hers. Past experiences have proved clerks do this all the time when someone says the dont have one. She did not say a word but thrusted her scanner towards the guy to scan his card. I thanked him and asked her if there was a difference in cost. She looked away and said nothing. I then handed her a 20 and received my change. I politely thanked her and again was met with no response. Im curious as to why the same great customer service she provided while profiling me was not then applied. This experience was embarrassing and very unprofessional. Sadly after 20 years shopping here I will now never return. This was an arrogant young black female with dreads who looked to be some sort of manager.

Considering it is very convenient with its location to beach goers who are able to walk and may not have transportation, 5-stars.But if you are able to travel a little further the Big WM prices are cheaper... Just Saying.

I would say 95% or items cost more. Even the food lion brand. But the meat is much better here than anywhere else in town. So that is all we but here
