I like the selection, they have items that Wally World does not carry. The store is not crowded usually, busy 5pm to 7pm. The only negative is they dont have a few products that Walmart has, Motts for Tots Fruit punch, my kids loves it but they dont carry the fruit punch flavor, and McCormick avocado mix, only HEB carries it...why? The soda deals and selection are great. The decor and atmosphere is pleasant and quiet, not bland cinder block walls with blasting loud speakers like wally world. Parking is good, especially at University. Small town grocery store feel with good prices and selection. The produce is always better too. The self checkouts can be aggravating until you learn how they work, no hand held scanner for large items though, thats a bummer.

As someone new to the area and to Kroger as a whole, I love the selection offered here. They also have great deals going on for various items.Also, this morning, the associate working the self-checkout near the pharmacy side was so friendly and helpful, and really made my experience surprisingly enjoyable. Huge props to her for being an amazing employee!

One of the worst grocery stores ever. Limited checkout lanes. They will not bag reusable bags. Prices are high. The employees are very poorly trained. Avoid this place at all cost.

I will update to 5 stars if you stop refrigerating your garlic and shallots. I have no idea who in the produce department thought it was a good idea to put these in the fridge cases, but it is just wrong. No other grocery store refrigerates garlic. You don’t refrigerate onions or potatoes, so please stop it with the cold garlic and shallots. You’re making the produce worse! I worked in a Kroger produce department for 4 years and I’ve never seen cold garlic cloves. The ideal temperature for garlic is 65-70 degrees, anything below that makes it wrinkly when it comes up to room temp. Walmart has bigger and better cloves of garlic than this Kroger. I seriously go to the neighborhood Walmart just for garlic because it is so trash at this Kroger. I actually like this Kroger, but the garlic thing drives me up the wall.

Everything is well organized, and gas and food are pretty cheap

First of all. An elderly lady shouldnt have to bag their own groceries nor wait on someone to show up to bag them. This is almost everytime I come. Its extremely ridiculous. We have places to be at certain times & things to do. Also its FREEZING in this store!!! Its colder than a morgue in here!!! I cant think straight nor do I wana stay in here longer than 5 minutes!!! I hope yall realize yall are running people out the store when its this freakin COLD!!! Yall really need to adjust the thermostat & stop giving paychecks to baggers if they arent going to do their job!!!

This Krogers has a crazy idea of stocking items. For example, there are crazy amounts of yogurt (see picture...that ENTIRE picture is yogurt....as far as you can see!!) but only 3 tube/tubs of sour cream and searching for them was impossible without asking for help. They have almost 1/4 of one side of an isle dedicated to multiple brands of canned Diced Tomatoes,....but no Tomato juice in the entire store. Its just so odd. While normally check out is pretty quick, today they only had 1 lane open and an elderly lady was yelling, we need checkers....where are the checkers. Of course she was ignored but it was kinda funny how mad she was. If this wasnt the closest store to me, Id never go. Im disappointed each time I go in the hopes of just getting something quick. However, stockers and employees in the aisles are so very friendly and helpful. The 3 stars are for them.

Love the self check outs! So fast and convenient! Best part is Krogers has products Walmart doesnt even have! I was shocked at that! The organic oat milk and Tahini! Keep it up😄

Some things like name brand prepaid smart phones are either not stocked, or arent carried anymore. The bill pay service isnt always working. Otherwise Kroger can be decent for General grocery shopping.

I inquired about fresh catfish. The gentleman working the counter was extremely professional, knowledgeable, & polite. The other young man that cashed me out was also.Employees like these make the 40 minute drive from the outskirts of Rusk, well worth the trip.Sincerely,Monica Poole

I want to do a specific shout out for the 2019 Valentines tent. My boyfriend and I stopped in, and I thought the selection was nice. I am pretty decisive so I didnt make him guess, he was honestly overwhelmed by the selection, I picked out my own bouquet which I liked, and then a pretty daisy bouquet for a friend we were taking out later that night. It was under $50, but then again I chose bouquets w/o any vase or anything like that, I had mine plus a cheap spare. but the price selection was nice, there was something for everyone and every budget!

I like shopping here! We find lots of good deals and the produce and meat are great. The store is clean and very well kept up. If they run out of something, we always get a rain check. The shopping traffic is not hectic like most stores.

I love the fresh produce here! And they most always have any health food product that Im in search of. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Not to mention that I always find many good deals and sales on the items I have on my list. 💕 My favorite grocery store in town.

Great store, easy to deal with, genuinely friendly. Great deli, great sushi, great bakery, great produce, great meat department. With the Kroger Plus card you get coupons every month. Not cheesy .25 off coupons, free stuff, dollar off, two for one, etc. On stuff that I buy regularly, anyway. Not to mention .10 off per gallon of gas for every $100 spent.

Shop Kroger every month. Find the service friendly and coupon savings are great . The items are only lacking very few, but have all the convenience I look for. Friendly staff, great shopping and savings a plus. A 4.5 in my book. Thank you KROGER.

Always clean and has most of everything I need. I love the low prices and digital coupons discounts! Plus, theres usually little to no wait in the checkout line.Most of the time I get friendly service as well, but it kinda depends on weather I go during the week or weekends. Usually its better during the week.

Staff was amazing! Came from out of town and was greeted or asked if I could be helped by 5 different employees! Clean store with a great selection.

Its a good hometown Krogers. Self checkout is kind of wonky so expect extra patience with those. If you go in late night expect a little extra wait since mainly the self checkouts are open and they alert the cashier for every small thing.

Love shopping here. Great deals. Keep products stocked very well 98% of the time, store is kept cleaner than most around here.

Favorite store in town to shop at. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. At this point they know my kids by name and they always give them hugs or high fives when we leave out. Even though theyve changed up the location of items, its still easy to shop and get in and out.

Better selection than the Kroger on University, but its usually insanely busy. The atmosphere is almost hectic. I feel like Im always right about to be run over. Sometimes I can barely find a parking space. I suppose too much business cant be a bad sign though.Self checkout is usually pretty quick if youve only got a few things.

This is a really nice store, good quality products, ourstanding produce and meats. The only drawback is if you go there after 11pm (possibly earlier) over half of the lights are shut off, making it really hard to read labels.

We go there all time. Everything is great and would give 5 stars, but the parking is tight and the entrance/exit is kind of dangerous, especially when traffic is thick.

I prefer this store of the two Nac Kroger stores. Parking is a nightmare and the gas pumps always have lines of cars. Store is well organized and clean. They even have fresh sushi.

Kroger has everything and at a decent price, too. Usually busy but you can find staff to help in the aisles and check out fairly fast. Nice meat and bakery departments. Good coupon specials. (I only wish they werent almost always out of Splenda Red Diamond tea, which they dont keep stocked despite a few letters to the manager requesting such.)

I prefer my local Krogers over all other grocers near me. They have the best selection on healthier products and some of the freshest produce.

The layout is simple and I never have to search for long. Its a good place when you just need to go in and out.

I Absolutely love everyone who works in the Nacogdoches Krogers Pharmacy because they work so hard and are so friendly to everyone. No matter what the situation is they find time to fill my prescriptions as quick as possible. Even if they are short-handed or bombarded with rude customers and ringing telephones and long lines in the drive-thru they are always so nice to me. I really appreciate them. I dont think they know how much a difference they make in our town. Thank you Krogers Pharmacy!

Absolutely awesome in terms of food options, taste, and price. Its not a superstore its just a food market however if youre looking for food its about three times better that Walmart. We havent gone shopping primarily for food at Walmart since we went to Kroger. Nobody can beat their prices and the people theyre seem like they know what theyre doing. Its a great place and Id definitely recommend it to anyone around here

I worked and did well for this particular Kroger in Nacogdoches TX on north st. I just tried to get my job and we was unsuccessful because, from what I was told, they hired someone with more experience. As a Stocker though. Not a manager position but stocking shelves. I have 5+ years experience doing this work and more. Not fair at all and I will definitely stay away from this location. By the way, since I left the store, some employees told me some disturbing news about prejudice so its probably for the best I didnt come back here

Its alright. There are not normally enough tellers open, and even self-check gets too backed up at times.

I have shopped here my whole life and it has always had great service and good food. They also ordered all my flowers for my wedding and made my bouquet I carried down the aisle.

I love Kroger. They usually have everything in stock that I want, the employees are usually decently friendly and you dont have to wait in line very long at all. The lines for gas can get brutal but thats just because they have the best gas prices in town. Highly recommend.

Been shopping there for years. I am disappointed in all of the products they have dropped to make room for 1000 different kinds of Mexican foods and what I consider to be marketing gimmicks like organic and non-gmo.

Everyone here is really rude and unprofessional. Especially a girl named Liza, or Lizzie, or Lisa, i dont remember exactly other than shes a new hire and that shes dark. Manager there always stares me down, not sure if shes just into me or shes just a weirdo but its weird.

It doesnt look like much from the outside. And having the drive-through Lane at the pharmacy right by the entrance makes getting in a little dangerous. However once we were in the store we were so happy. We actually live in Lufkin, and are finding that we cant find name brand Niche items that we use all the time here in East Texas. They have an amazing supply of sauces, BBQ products, marinades, dressings Etc. They had lots of organic options, and not the typical to brands of yogurt that were finding here in Lufkin.In my opinion its well worth the trip 25 miles and to Nacogdoches to shop there. Their prices were good, and they had a lot of nice things on sale that we just dont see here. Having moved from Southwest of Houston, to a very small town weve been missing some of the little things. Kroger has both the big things and their produce was very fresh. If you want some variety, and healthier options, this is the place.

The hardest place in Nacogdoches, Texas to get in or out, traffic wise. Great store.

Paid an electric bill at Kroger on the 7th of September which was disconnected on the 20th because no receipt was available to prove it had been paid. The receipt was obtained and this issue was resolved thanks to the very efficient staff at Kroger.
