Usually buying a new vehicle through a dealership has always been kind of stressful in the past for me, with sales people that are obnoxiously pushy, or really just ambivalent about what you need or want with a vehicle. Talk about an entirely different experience with Kent at Peterson. He was so incredibly patient with me over the months, yes months, of me asking questions about the new Wrangler 4xe before I finally pulled the trigger and ordered with him. After the order was placed, the only thought I had was is this really going to be that easy? It really was. Would I really get my car as quickly as he said I would, which I was suspicious about given all the supply issues related to new vehicles going on right now. He said 8-10 weeks and it arrived right at 9 weeks. Kent was great with communication and updates with my car. He made sure James set me up with any modifications I wanted before I picked up my car. He sent Joseph to pick me up at the airport, I flew in from another state to work with Kent. I had some good laughs with Kiel in the finance department while signing my documents. Best car buying experience ever. It’s not often that you walk away from a dealership feeling completely satisfied. I ordered a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. The factory built it to the exact specifications that I wanted. My car salesman Stephen Brightbill walked me through the whole process and kept me informed of every status change as my vehicle was being built, set up for transit and then delivery. From the research I have done people come from all over the Pacific Northwest to buy from Peterson Jeep for the great deals they help people get. Always friendly staff (to be expected from a dealership). Pretty good maintenance deals, the service cost are a bit steep. I went in for a diagnostic and came back with $4500 worth of repairs needed. Needless to say I went elsewhere and got all the work +more for less then $1400.I mean this dealer charges $143.75 for a PCV Valve.. its a $20 part and takes literally 5-15 minutes, depending if your plastic engine cover is off.I will be coming back as I do like the maintenance package I bought as a time saver. Buy 6 oil changes for a discounted price. The gentlemen at the front was easy to talk with. Now I see why car prices are easier to haggle over because their big money comes from services.I probably wont be buying a Ram Hemi again though. The very common issues of bolts snapping off the exhaust manifold is just silly. Should be a recall but hey why do that when they can charge $2,000 to repair that. I am hoping they fix this issue in the next coming years and give a real warranty like 5 years, 60,000 bump 2 bumper, like other brands.

Sonny was great to work with. Purchasing a vehicle out of state can be difficult but he paid attention to all the details. He was very timely in his communication and worked well to put together a deal.Unfortunately when it came time to finalizing everything it appeared that his manager was not interested in customer satisfaction and appreciation but more concerned with the bottom line. There was a miscommunication with overnighting documents which ended up costing additional money for the flight to pick up the truck. I asked Sonny if the truck could have a full tank of gas and his manager respectfully declined. A $75,000 truck was purchased with a quarter tank of diesel, It is unbelievable to think that 3/4 of a tank of fuel is too expensive when selling a $75,000 2020 Ford used truck. A little customer consideration would have gone a long way. A quarter tank of diesel fuel seems petty for an expensive vehicle.Sonny was a great salesman and a great help with this truck purchase, his manager however was not.

Only delt with service, not impressed, jeep transmission problems took forever to get anything done and multiple times bringing it to dealer to get the warranty process to say they would replace transmission even though we all knew that was the problem. Also one of the times we dropped it off for a 5 days and I asked to get the first oil change, it wasnt done when I went to pick it up, had to waste another half hour for that to get done.

I would highly recommend Peterson for anyone looking for a vehicle and a dealer that will treat you right. Zach Lugo was excellent. I ultimately did not purchase a vehicle but will return when I am ready to purchase. Excellent customer service and understanding of the customers situation.

Elvis was great he pulled the car I wanted from the back had it inspected and washed before I came to look at it as it had just been delivered. A couple of months ago my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Big Horn gave up its engine after 235000 miles. The decision was made to have a Mopar Re-man engine installed which has a 3 year warranty. As the engine broke down outside the Treasure Valley area, I chose to have a dealer closer to the trucks location do the work. After a couple false starts (was told to come pick up the truck as it was ready, two different times, only to find it wasnt) I finally took delivery of the truck here in the Valley, wasnt making another long distance drive. From the get go there were issues, things that should have been done and werent, things that got done and werent done correctly. After a week I decided it shouldnt be driven further and showed up on the Peterson Stampede Dodges Service Departments doorstep unannounced and unscheduled... This is when I met Adam Burton, a Service Advisor for the Dept. He immediately instilled a sense of confidence and professionalism in me that seemed representative of the Dept. as a whole. He took ownership of the situation on behalf of his dealership and associated staff, regardless of the fact that Stampede Dodge had not done the work. He was honest in his assessment and his projected scheduling of the work. He made, nor implied any promises as to when the warranty work would be completed, but assured me that he, and the service staff, would to their very best. Mission Accomplished.. this dealership has earned my continued business both in continued maintenance on my truck (Runs like NEW) and future vehicle purchases and I endorse them highly.

Purchased a late model f250. Happy with the truck and the overall experience. The reason for 2 stars was due to the dealership being a bit deceitful as the sale was closing. I was about as easy of a sale as it gets. Truck posted with a generic photo due to it being a new trade. The price was posted immediately. I attempted to purchase, but was told I needed to wait until it went through service and detail. As soon as I got the call it was on the lot I went down and purchased. The only thing I brought up was a nickel size crack/chip in the window. Exactly where the driver looks out. Asked for that to be replaced and the sales manager said no based on the price. Funny thing is the price had been determined before it went through service, inspection and detail. Feel like I was lied to. Still think based on safety it should have been part of the sale. A little disappointed.This was my second vehicle purchase from a Peterson dealership.Nick

I asked a salesman that was passing for the price on a ram 1500 and he told $53,000 so I kept lookin around for a bit and landed back on that same truck and another salesman walked by I asked him the price out of curiosity and he told me $49,200 I then looked it up On their website and the vehicle was going for 47,800😡 please do yourself a favor and go to a dealership that post the price on used vehicles! I just have to say . . . Nick Echanis was an answer to prayer for me yesterday. Having just bought a used car in Tucson, AZ and making a very needed trip to Nampa for the sake of my 19 year old granddaughter just diagnosed with cancer, my jeep began running very rough just after I made the trip. Nick was kind enough to invite us in so he could rule out transmission problems. He even went further and not only diagnosed the problem but fixed the problem. In this stressful time in our family it was so refreshing to meet a total stranger and be given such great treatment.

What can I say? Sales representative Austin made purchasing a new truck an actual pleasure. No adversarial relationship. Straight up honest, professional and ethical. The price was very fair. We left upbeat rather than feeling somewhat victimized as with other dealerships. Hes really good at his job. Calm, knowledgeable and very patient. Also, the finance guy, and Im mad that I cant remember his name- Im old!!! Anyways, he did his research and actually found an interest rate that beat our pre-approved credit union rate on the loan. Travelling cross country in my Dodge van and the back door opening lever stripped - now unable to open the back doors. Saw Nick Echanis in Service Dept. and he came right out and fixed it with the new part (plastic lever) needed. Start to finish 15 minutes, thought Id wait an hour to just have someone look at it.
