I was so happy with my experience. We go to a smaller office when we get our eyes checked, and they have a super small selection of kids glasses. I went to Eyemart to see if they had a better selection. They had like 200 pairs of kids glasses!!! It was awesome. The back to school special was cheaper than going through insurance and I was able to get 2 pairs of glasses for my son in case one breaks. The staff was super helpful. And our glasses were ready in 9 minutes!!! It was the best glasses buying experience Ive ever had in my 30 years of wearing glasses!!!

It was out 1st time there my 7 year old needed glasses they were very quick and patient with her and the glasses were done within a half hour very pleased mommy

The absolute best place to get eyewear. The optromitists at the Nampa location are excellent also.I just stopped in yesterday just to make an appointment expecting to have to go back in a week or so. They got me started on the eye tests immediately, got a prescription and chose a frame. Within 45 minutes I was walking out of the store with a new pair of glasses.I have tried 2 other eyewear stores that advertise nationally and have never got a pair of glasses that I could wear. With the other chain stores, I had to wait 2 weeks, returned the glasses, then had to wait another 2 weeks and ultimately had to ask for refunds.With Eyemart Express, they get it done right the first time and are very fast and efficient!!

Other than the wait, which is a testament to how well they do by having so many customers, my experience was quick and easy from the eye exam to the purchase of my glasses. My glasses were completed in a very short time and Im very happy and impressed.

I have been a customer at Eyemart Express for many years now and usually have a pretty good experience. The reason for 3 stars is because they dont really live up to the hype. 30 minutes or less does not include the 40 minute or more wait time to be seen, and only pertains to lens types they have in stock. The fastest theyve ever made a pair of progressive lenses for me has been 1 week. I usually order one pair of daily wear glasses and one pair of sunglasses from them. The last two times Ive ordered they have improperly ground one set of the two lenses requiring me to visit them (twice) again to have the issue resolved. I still recommend them as they are better than most other eyeglasses sellers. Try to go during the week while the manager is there, otherwise the wait times are longer and the staff becomes lax about service.

I have been getting my glasses at Eyemart for thirty+ years. Always very satisfied. My only suggestion would be to add more staff as the wait time can be long. On the other hand, the wait is worth it.

I was impressed how fast I was seen! My exams were done and prescription in hand within 20mins. The Dr was great. Then picked out my frames, handed prescription and frames to the glasses people(: 35 mins later they notified me thru text that they were ready. Perfect way to get eyes as fast as you can.

It was my first time going to Eyemart Express. It was a great experience from start to finish. The Dr. that did my eye exam was very personable and got my prescription right. When choosing frames, the staff was very helpful and attentive, even though they were getting busy quickly. I got two pairs of glasses and they were ready in less than 30 min, not to mention the most affordable glasses I’ve ever purchased. I will definitely be going there from now on

Highly recommended. My sister and I got eye exams not really knowing what to expect. Dr. Hansen and his staff were very kind, professional and pleasant to deal with. Dr. Hansen explained everything very thoroughly and was eager to answer the many questions I had. He is clearly excited about helping people with their eyesight and providing the best options to suit your needs.

I worked with Jen, she was super patient and very helpful. Their prices are honestly the best around, with many options of frames to choose from.

Good place to get eye exams and perscription glasses for a hefty price. The payment methods are harsh and challenging to figure out. Unless you have the money up front dont buy. Its all through Sunbit. A 3rd party payment system.

Update: December 29, 2020 - I was contacted by the Eyemart Express Corporate and they offered to remake the glasses at their Boise location. I also had to fill and purchase glasses using my 2020 vision benefits before the year ended. So I worked with Brian the manager, Alan, and Cameron at the Boise location to choose and order two pair of glasses. They were polite - even about the mask restrictions which are require in Boise, not Nampa, by the local health district.They remade my glasses from my original pair and I choose a rimless style. These glasses were perfectly cut! My frames were adjusted to fit my face and I am totally happy with my new glasses. Brian stopped by the table a few times to check on my to make sure I was satisfied. Brian was supposed to be off at 5pm, but stayed the extra 30 mins just for me. That says he cares!If you go to Eyemart, go the extra distance to the Boise location! These guys rocked it!Original Review of Nampa Location:Worst experience ever for buying glasses in 40 years. I ordered 2 pair - one for all the time and one for sunglasses. When I picked up the sunglasses there was a swirl in one of lenses that blurred my vision. They had not completed the polishing process on that lens. When I picked up the daily wear pair the lenses were cut wrong and there were gaps between the frame and the lens. When it was time to place the lenses per the insurance they chipped the edges of the lens along the rimless bottom edge. I will never go back. Also the entry level lens they offer is of such poor quality I had to upgrade to a premium lens. I have worn glasses most of my life and I can only imagine how a newly prescribe person might not realize the inferior product they have purchase and how it really isnt helping them see 20/20. Id stay far away from here.

I came in late Monday evening even through it was late I was treated very well and had me new glasses ready for early pick Tuesday morning!

I had to come back because my Rx wasn’t right. The vision side of Eyemart are very good and fixed the Rx issue for me fast and friendly.The glasses side was not so good! They had me wait in my car because of Covid but they never put me on wait list so I waited about an hour. I called them and was allowed to come in to pick up my glasses that I bought two weeks ago and waited two hours altogether for today. The lady at the door was rude! The lady who checked me out was very nice and helpful but I don’t think I will use Eyemart again. Oh and I paid over $200. For two pair when the are advertised for 79 and I have insurance.

I dont know how to change it but I accidentally put in this review for the Nampa store when it was for the Boise store. Not sure how to change it so its going to be as it is. Heres my review. I went in early to avoid the crowds its a very busy place. Kayla was the person who helped me. She suggested frame sizes and shapes and asked me to check them out and decide what I wanted. She picked out excellent shapes for my face. She then told me about the offers that were available for sunglasses. And again helped me to decide on a frame. I have insurance but of course it doesnt pay everything she did work it out so that it fit into my budget. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. My experience there was amazing. I received my glasses within an hour. They are perfect fit and prescription. Highly recommend AAA

My first experience with Eyemart Express was a 10 out of 10. They handled the whole Covid protocol extremely well. I had a short wait outside & they sent a text when ready. The technician was patient, helpful, professional, and friendly. The frame selection was excellent as well. The eye exam went smoothly, & the Dr was pleasant. One of the best exams I’ve ever had. Love the glasses. Love the price. Love the experience. They certainly have earned my business, and I’m pretty picky.

First off the actual doctors office and staff were great! Organized and polite.However, when I walked into the show room after my exam I began to look at glasses. There were a few people being helped and I was happily doing my own thing looking at frames. I was there about 20 minutes and looked at pretty much everything. A woman finally walks up to me and asked if I had been helped because she knew I had been there awhile. I said no but it was ok because I was shopping around. She asked if I had tried on glasses and had a basket for the ones I had tried on, I said no and she handed me a basket the said you’ll need to put your name on this clipboard and wait outside because they had reached capacity while I was looking around. Mind you...I was looking at frames for 20 minutes. There was one other name on the clipboard and she said we will call you before this person. I asked to clarify that they wanted me to wait outside after I had been in there for 20 minutes already. She said yes.Now really, how ridiculous is it is tell someone who’s been there for 20 minutes to go outside because they are at capacity after you’ve been there that long. They do not take into consideration people getting an exam and walking into the showroom. Not to mention the woman wasn’t very nice about it. I had already written my name on the clipboard so then they called me 10 minutes after I left. I went there because I could get a discount...I’d rather pay more than support this unorganized place. So frustrated.

Hi I had a great experience outside of the actual doctors office itself. The doctor was good but the receptionist people did not do their job well at all and made me pay for my eye appointment when my insurance covers everything. I went over to Eyemart for my glasses I had to wait about 20/25 minutes which was kind of irritating but once that happened the lady who helped me was excellent very proficient very knowledgeable and very friendly. They took my insurance I never had to pay anything out-of-pocket. I came back the next day picked up my glass . I didn’t have to wait but may be five minutes the second lady wasn’t as friendly but was still nice and got my glasses and I’m very happy with them they fit my face good they’re not too tight there not to lose there just right. I would recommend Eyemart for the glasses but I definitely would not recommend the eye doctor just because of the front desk people very rude very very disrespectful and have no compassion

Excellent fast service. Very pleasant young lady assisted me. She seemed very knowledgeable. I appreciate her thoroughness and attention to detail. My glasses had to be sent out due to the prescription that I have and I received them much sooner than expected.Update: I returned today to get a special order. Once again, I am so impress with the professionalism of this group of people. Unfortunately, during my visit, an obnoxiously rude woman came in to pick up a pair of glasses. Not only was she rude to the employees, but to other customers in the building. I applaud the professionalism of the women behind the counter. They were courteous and professional to her however continued with the customers that they had been working with and helped her at her turn. Kudos to all!!

I wanted a pair of dedicated computer glasses since I wear trifocals and Elvira was friendly and helpful. The computer glasses are great and for ten more dollars I was able to also purchase a pair of reading glasses. Both frames are attractive and reasonably priced and the glasses were ready in 37 minutes.

Super nice and easy to work with. Even without insurance, it was a bargain for name brand glasses. Very impressed.

I have been going to this location for some time now. I recently needed to get a new pair of prescription sunglasses. I called in yesterday morning only to abruptly be out on hold with no warning as I was trying to give the customer service rep my name and phone number for a call back as she was with a customer at the time. No problem with this as I understand completely. However, almost six hours goes by with no contact. This was a rather time sensitive subject as I am leaving town in a few days and need these sunglasses for my trip.So I then proceed to call back. I get the most rude and inconsiderate employee on the phone. According to my bill her name is Daisi. She has the worst attitude as it came through the phone horribly. She spoke to me like I was an inconvenience to her and then proceeded to go to the back to get lenses and must have forgotten to put my on hold/mute and then spoke extremely poorly of the customers that were waiting to get service. I am so off put by this situation that I will be taking my business elsewhere after I get my glasses. Apparently the machine is broken and I am hoping I will even get them by the time I leave... I think whoever manages this location needs to really provide some more training in customer service as this location dropped the ball TWICE with me.

I will never go back to this store again. I was texed that my glasses were ready to be picked up. When I got to the store there were 2 people in line ahead of me, so I signed in and went back in line. The first lady was recogonized and waited on, even though she had not signed in. The second man walked up to the counter when a customer was finished and he was waited on. An associate then came over and checked the sign-in book. I was then told that I had to wait outside and they would call me on my phone when I would be allowed back inside. When I came back inside I asked for a refund on my glasses and I would go elsewhere to get them. I was refered to the assistant manager on duty, and she would not discuss any refund with me. She just avoided my question.

Absolutely absurd. If you get a text to pick up your glasses, you shouldnt have to wait to get them when you get there.

Went in to get my glasses fixed and dropped them off because of covid and they said they would call me so I can come back inside to pick them up. The first gal I talked to was very sweet and nice and helpful. But when I got a call to come back in and pick them up, I walked in some lady asked if I needed help and if not I need to go wait outside. I went outside and when they told me to come back, this same lady just gave me the rudest glare. Literally have never been treated so poorly to pick up eyeglasses prescription. Definitely will look into moving offices. Just completely insane.

The employees are great and so friendly! The wait can be a little long but over all it’s worth the wait! They have clean restrooms and a very good variety of frames to pick from.

I’ve gone everywhere around the valley for eye exams over the years and this is my new favorite. They’re not flashy, but the staff is nice, well educated and not at all pushy. I’ll keep going back every time.

We were there when they first opened and it seemed like our representative was all alone, trying to answer phones and handle walk in clients but she gave me first rate customer service!! I looked at a lot of frames before she found me the perfect ones! I couldnt get up and walk around so she brought them to me. What a sweetie!! She made me feel like nobody else mattered. I have had extreme headache for years and this is the only place that actually tried to help me and it’s a successful experience. They actually make me feel comfortable with the information they gave me. It was also my child’s first time at the eye doctor and he make him feel comfortable as well. Would highly recommend!

I would not recommend the eye doctor side of this company to even my enemy. They decided to try to overcharge me on my Sons contacts I was told me insurance would only cover $105 of contacts for kids come to find out they cover up to 6mo the at no cost they said on top of paying for the rest of the contact fee I also had to pay $30 for a trial pair and then when I ask to have his RX to take else where their was a whole other bunch of issues please beware.

All the gals and my Eye Dr were kind, quick, efficient, and beautiful to efficiently help me find my new glasses. This is a very nice office!!! I’m happy to recommend Eyemart Express—and I also got my cleaner refilled for no charge!!! 😘

Went in Thursday morning with my prescription and with the help of the optician I found a really cute pair and within 15 mins they were ready to be picked up! I was amazed at how fast they were!! Love my new glasses and I will always use Eyemart Express!!

Excellent service. My sons glasses were broken yesterday and he had a limited budget. I called, made an appointment, and he was treated professionally. We checked in at twelve-thirty. Two new pairs of glasses were ready for him by one forty-five. He paid $69 for the eye exam and was happy with the time the doctor took to explain everything. The lady who helped with glasses took my coupon for the store special 2/38.51. She did not pressure us with upsells, and helped him to choose what fit the budget. I know the place down the road advertises they can do it cheaper, but after reading their reviews I decided against them. I noticed their offer only applied to glasses in the -2 to 2+ range. My son needed a correction of over three for both eyes. No extra charge at Eyemart Express. Thank you for excellent customer service.

Eye doctor was the best Ive ever met. Dr. Smith explained everything he was checking and the exam was quick. My glasses are perfect and the service was also fast. I really like that i didnt have to guess when they were ready because i got a text when the glasses were done. Very nice!

I was a walk in on a Saturday afternoon and I was able to get an eye exam, find a pair of frames that I loved, and discuss all of the options I needed in my new lenses. Because of the bifocals they said they would be ready in 2 weeks. I got a text yesterday that they were ready although it had only been 1 week! They are perfect, and they let me add a second pair without the bifocals and made into strictly sunglasses with my regular prescription for $19.95!! You cant even get a non-prescription pair for that price in a store! I am sooooo happy!

I have been going there for years for my glasses. Office staff is fantastic. I had Monica this time and she went out of her way to try and help me. I paid about $100 less than I was quoted, from other company, and received 2 pair (1pair of sunglasses) instead of just one pair. The best part is I got them both in 56 minutes. You can’t beat that, and they will always be my place to go for glasses.

My glasses fit perfect, they needed no adjusting and they were ready before the time i was told. It was a bit more expensive than i thought it would be. However, i didnt realize that my prescription was what made most of it that way. Other than that i am very satisfied.

I have went to Eyemart for years! This year they werent in my network for insurance coverage so I went to Americas Best. Worst experience ever! I went back to Eyemart and paid out of pocket. The staff is great and theres no long wait to get your glasses. My two pairs were done in less than an hour. They also offer great warranties.

This review is only for the store side, the ophthalmologist clinic was great. I fount this store unprofessional. They are not consistent in their policies, It feels like youre purchasing a car instead of glasses. I understand that they have to meet their goals but it was very uncomfortable I felt pressured to upgrade my lenses when I clearly told the sales rep what I wanted. She was very polite but she kept quoting me for higher priced lenses. During my first visit I over heard the manager talking to another staff member out loud about how they hadnt met their quota which I found unprofessional. I ended up returning my glasses because I was not satisfied at all with any part of my experience. The manager wrote a long paragraph on the return slip on why he thought I was returning the glasses when I had already told him my specific reasonings. He spent a while typing up the paragraph and he didnt even know how to process my return. I spent close to an hour trying to return the glasses and I was one of two customers in the store. When I asked what the return policy was he couldnt even give me a straight answer, it was very sketchy. I even called their headquarters in Texas and all they did was transfer me back to the store. They may have affordable glasses but the customer experience is not worth it.

First time going to this business and i wasn’t disappointed. Great staff and a great selection of frames I’m very particular and came home with two pairs I liked. I liked that it was very easy to get in for an appointment also very quickly was in and out full eye exam and finding frames and an hour later was texted saying they had both pairs ready to go and very well priced I’ve payed more at other places for glasses I didn’t really love.

We have always had great level of care. The staff are good at helping you find styles you like, giving you great feedback on styles that look good, offer good warranties and stand by them (I’ve had to use the warranties on frames AND lenses), they have competitive prices, great deals, huge selection and same day turn around. I have referred many people here. We love eyemart express.

I bought insurance for the frames, it’s only good for 12 months. I tried to just pay for the lens & they would not saying my frames were “out dated”. It was just an selling point. I walked out & went to Walmart.

I was in a bit of an emergency situation & needed glasses asap because I only had one contact. Unfortunately after getting my eye exam they said they couldn’t make my glasses because I have such a heavy duty prescription. (-13) I started crying out of frustration of the situation I was in. Had nothing to do with them. & they showed such compassion for me. They all got together & made it work. They got me my glasses in an hour! I was blown away. They didn’t have to do that for me, but they did. I will never forget that. Thank you so much Eyemart Express you really saved the day!

It blows my mind how fast you can get glasses at eye mart. I used to wait 2 weeks to get new glasses when mine would break and or get lost. I waited a total 2 hrs from start of eye exam to having my new prescription glasses on my face. It’s night and day. I will never go anywhere else. Staff was nice and helpful as well.

Called morning of the day I wanted to be seen, they found a time that worked and I was seen that day. Went through the exam quickly but I wasnt rushed through. The Dr. made sure to answer any questions and even recheck fit on my contacts. Then I ordered frames and lenses and was told an hour wait for both to be done. I left and went to a nearby store to kill time, 13 minutes after leaving, one pair was done and I got a text on my phone to let me know. 2 minutes later, 2nd pair was done. They will definitely be my go to for my vision care

Great people work there. The optometrist that seen me was really good explaining my cataract situation to me. I definitely will make the Nampa office the only place that I will have my eyes checked from now on.
