Stanton is always the best! I was able to get in right away and get my broken glasses replaced. Jacquelyn was absolutely amazing and super patient with me. I struggle with finding frames I look good in and she was honest and helpful. I wont see anyone else!

I live in Utah and am up here working. I called after a job on Saturday and was able to get an eye appointment within 30 minutes. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. The doctor got me in right away and took care of me. As soon as the doc was done, Destiny and Jacquelyn made sure I got everything I needed and wanted for glasses, lenses and ordering contacts. These guys are Awesome! I would definitely recommend Stanton Optical to friends and family.

The apt time you get is a lie - 45 min of waiting before the initial screen is even completed. Then an additional 45 to see the provider. Buying glasses here takes longer than buying a car, its not like theyre even too busy .. theyre just SLOW! Plus their restrooms are DISGUSTING. NOT impressed.

My son and I had a great experience here. We made appointments and were taken care of right on time. They cleaned sanitized everything throughout the process. The exams were thorough and we felt completely comfortable. Jackie and Destiny were great! They were very helpful and friendly, as were all the staff.from the moment we walked in. When we began choosing glasses they never rushed us through the process. They have a good selection of glasses and the prices are reasonable. Honestly, we could not have been happier with Stanton.

Great deal with the BOGO and free eye exam offer! Jacquelyn and Jillene were exceptionally helpful as I tried on several frames, helping me find the best one for me and feel absolutely comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and wonderful!

I paid 500 plus for my glasses, with a 100 discount. My glasses were never right from day one 😪, wrong prescription put in first . When I return for my glasses the second time I was asked to try wearing them for a while. Still not being able to have proper sight unless I held them out at arms length to see! The unprofessional woman then told me with progressive lens they need to be at computer distance to see clearly 🙄 😑. Tell me who walks around holding your phone out that far to read your screen? My last three pair of glasses were progressive, I probably would have try to explain 🤔 or maybe try to come up with another resolution, BUT that woman stood behind the Dr and FOLDED HER ARMS! Terrible body language was the last straw, dont shut your customer with body language! I knew then there was no more reasoning with the STORE Their mind was made up for me to walk around holding my phone out peering through these very expensive glasses looking Stupid! Even though we had to make an appointment instead of just walking in to look at new glasses, we were waited on superbly by Jacquelyn from the moment my husband and I got there. She was very patient as I tried to find frames and lenses I liked, even going in the back of the store where she thought shed seen frames like I wanted. She was very good at making us feel like we were her only customers while she still attended to customers with quick questions. She also helped us understand the cost of each feature and trying to make it more affordable while we still got good features on our lenses. Thanks Jacquelyn!

After spending a couple years abroad, I desperately needed an update to my prescription. Luckily enough, Stanton Optical in Nampa was able to squeeze me in and get all 4 pairs of glasses done by the time I need to head out again. The store was clean and I was able to see their efforts to wipe down and sanitize all surfaces/products that were touched by others.Jacquelyn was particularly helpful in the process of finding the frames that I would enjoy (Im SO picky!) She made the entire process a breeze and even managed to save me well over $500.The kindness and professionalism of this crew is unmatched. Very pleased.

It’s been 12/13 years since I got my last exam and glasses so I gave this place a shot. I’ll know more when my glasses done being made but so far it’s been a great experience. I was greeted and helped by a woman named Destiny, she was very patient with my annoying questions and as friendly as could be. I had my exam and spoke with a couple other staff members and they were all very nice and helpful. They were all masked and very good about cleanliness of anything touched by people. So far my experience has been great.

Worst doctor experience of my life. First I was lied to 3 times that they would accept my insurance, only to find out while paying that they didnt. They lied about being able to ship my order to my house since I didnt live near the store, but then later told me I had to pick it up. The phone number posted sends you to one of those overseas call centers and you can never actually get in contact with the store. Oh and if you want a real doctor to do your exam in person, good luck, because my exam was through a zoom like video chat.Do not come here

Went in to get my eye exam and was in and out under an hour. My order was sent out to be completed and should be done by the 26th. My current fames finally took their last hold and was left without them! I rushed in for an immediate pair and they were able to get a pair made for me next day on short notice! I purchased 2 pairs of glasses around April 1 2021, the screw that retains the lens came out and the lens fell out. As I was traveling down the interstate hi way, both scew and lens were lost. Taking the glasses back to the store for a warranty repair (paid extra for extend warranty}. They informed me without the screw and lens the could not help me. As a new customer with them, I am comply frustrated and greatly disappointed in their products. I would NOT recommend.

I walked in was immediately greeted. They did my eye exam quickly and cleanly wiping everything down along the way. When I went to choose glasses I had Jillene helping me. She was very professional and personable. Doesnt hurt that shes extremely easy on the eyes also! My entire experience from beginning to end was great!

Was very disappointed to be forced to wear a mask. The lady in the front was very rude and I would have left if my child didn’t need new glasses ASAP because his broke. My child and I were very uncomfortable which is a bummer because in the past we had a better experience. My child hated chatting with the eye doctor over video chat. I will be taking my money else where in the future to a place that does not enforce masks.

The place is great, Kimby was beyond awesome. I’ll go back just because of how she was. I had to wait for my glasses which was fine for me. When I went in to pick them up she helped me find sunglasses to get made next. I got those now and I was very happy with them. So far the people there have been nothing but great. Kimby was especially great. The only complaint I really have is call center taking my call instead of reaching the store. You cannot call the store and that is awful.The store is great, the people in the store are great and the call center is not.

Not a huge fan of a business that can not answer their own phones and outsource it to a call center. You are in a fairly small area. I would like to be able to ask questions about your location.

Kimby, was so personal and professional. She made the experience of buys glasses a pleasure because I hate to have to get new glasses. They were a little high I think but it’s been 5 yrs. imbued did her best to lower the price for me.

I have never met more rude associates in my entire life, snooty, and probably shouldn’t be working in a service based store front. I’ll take my business elsewhere where I am actually welcomed. I was literally shocked at how rude those ladies were.

Staff was very nice got me in quick but as soon as I got back with the doc it went downhill. Seemed like he was in a hurry and gave me the total wrong prescription after telling him various times the letters he would show me were blurry. I had a previous prescription I had before I went in and he totally changed it even though my vision has remained the same for years. So there’s no way it changed that drastically. Total waste of my time and money. Charged me almost $100 just to get a “contact exam” I wasn’t even aware of would cost me that much. So the ad they show is affordable is a total lie. Very disappointed.

I havent had my eyes checked in over 10 years and I have to say that I had the greatest experience today! The eye exam was super quick. my appointment was at 6:45 pm and I was out within an hour. The ladies working tonight were the kindest and most helpful. Marcia made sure to stay within my budget and was incredibly helpful and informative. If I could do no stars I would. Staff is great just company and management is terrible. Would definitely not recommend going. The don’t know how to properly staff employee/doctors for the amount of people they book appointments for. You pay almost 100 dollars to spend 15 minutes with the doctor and don’t get an accurate prescription. Definitely will not be going back. They wasted my time and my money

In a time of a pandemic it was comforting to see all staff take sanitizing very seriously. The doc was very kind and took the time to listen to other health concerns related to my eyesight. I purchased my frames from Destiny and she was an absolute delight. She was so very sweet and helpful. I felt the best I’ve ever felt about purchasing eyewear than I ever had in the 22 years I’ve been wearing glasses. She really took the time to explain the pricing and helped with my concerns on cost. My experience at Stanton Optical was Amazing! Ive been with them since July 28th 2020 so far. And they have never let me down. I have gone in to get glasses replaced, then got them replaced then went back in to get a different pair because I changed my mind and changed a pair into sunglasses after I already payed. And they didnt make a fuss at all and were so nice!! Literally my favorite place to come get glasses. Thank you guys for such a nice experience everytime I come and for the positivity that I receive.

I had a lovely time with my younger sibling at this location!! Jaquelyn who helped us was a rockstar and we had a very plesant conversation while we were being helped! Even though the equipment clearly felt like a psychological horror, I believe it added to the experience than it took away. 10/10 would come again.

I already had my prescription and just needed to get a pair of readers for the computer and a pair of distance for driving. Jillene said hello right away and when she was finished with who she was helping she got my insurance info and let me browse while she looked it up. It turned out insurance wasn’t ready for new glasses yet but I found a couple of cute pairs for $29/$49 for the frames. Out the door with fancy lens on both was way less than my regular optometrist for just one pair even using insurance. Jillene also told me how to contact my insurance in case they would still help with some of the out of pocket amount. I’ll be back in an hour to pick my glasses up.

You cant reach the local store and you talk to somebody with an accent so heavy you can understand them very poor customer service on the phone

Yesterday while at a family reunion I lost my glasses in the lake. So I called numerous different places to see if they would do same day glasses and none of them did until I called Stanton. Their phone line is outsourced to a call center and since I would be driving in 2 and a half hours to get glasses made I wanted to make sure that they could. The representative reassured me numerous times that I would be able to get glasses the same day FOR SURE, NO PROBLEM. When i hung up I called back A few minutes later and talked to a different customer service rep to double-check to make sure that they can do same day glasses and he said yes no problem you will get your glasses tomorrow. I told him that I wanted to talk to somebody direct and ask them because this was important, I have work the next day and I need to be able to have glasses but he said they dont do that and reassured me again. I felt relief for the first time because I had already gone hours without being able to see and I quit calling other places because they said I for sure can get my glasses same day. So I drove the two and a half hours to Nampa to get my glasses and an exam and when I talked to the gal that greeted me she said that there was no doctor on site. I got there at 1:45, got my exam, which was done by telehealth, not an in person Dr. And got done at 4:30 in which they said their Corporate system spit out the Final results and they would not be able to do the glasses in house, it would have to go to their lab and would take two weeks. ( single vision) What a waste of my time and they lied to me. Kimbe said they have that problem with the company they outsource to telling people that they can do things that they really cant I am very upset about this. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had to call out of work tomorrow because I cant see to drive myself there. I wish they would have just been honest in the first place and say they couldnt do it. I would have kept on looking.

Destiny was very helpful and bright. But her white jacket was filthy, dull gray and inside the arms at wrists was black with dirt. I asked about her mask that was off more than on.She said It just falls down.

This is a late review but an important one none the less. It was last Saturday when I came into Stanton Optical for what I assumed would be a regular stop and go for me. I went in with an already content heart and a day full of joy. Little did I know my day would be even better after leaving that optical building. It was all thanks to Jillene, the person I can only assume was placed before me by the powers that be. Jillene was nothing short of excellence in both service and customer satisfaction. I cant speak of where her future will leave her but I am certain it will be a bright one. Bring your shades people of Nampa, youre going to need them.

Kimby was awesome. After trying to get my glasses from my old provider due to warranty, I ended up still going through Stanton. Because of a hospitalization, I had to wait until last minute to fill my insurance. She was not only able to fit me in last minute on New Year’s Eve, but made sure I had the best possible prices on my glasses. I will definitely be back next year!
