They actually have a pretty good selection of tools at different quality levels. Its not all the cheapest stuff. There are some surprisingly good quality things at good prices. Staff was helpful, too.

This one has more floor space and it was well laid out. I noticed the signs were bilingual... Anglo toward front and Spanish on back. People were nice too.

The customer service guy working there says yes sorry we dont carry that anymore we dont even have that brand OK well your website says you havent in stock can you see right here yeah it lies. That was his explanation no sorry anything like that yeah it lies we have this one its $40 more. Would you match the price or even offer me a 20% off coupon which you hand out to everyone nope sorry cant do that. No longer a Harbor freight customer

They need more help to better serve shoppers

Only four stars because they chain itself doesnt seem to carry a huge inventory, so limits your choices. But they do have very good sale prices and if you need a common tool or power tool quickly you might get a better price here than at the larger chains. It depends on their current promotion. It has always been clean and well organized when Ive visited, even during the holidays. Staff have always been helpful.

Seems like everytime i need something its out of stock and takes forever for them to get it back in stock. I needed the predator 212cc, didnt have it in stock took so long to get it back in stock i went ahead and ordered it from their website which they ended up charging me twice and never refunded the 2nd charge. I needed a 8 drill press. Guess what? out of stock. Maybe, just maybe yall should stock more than 3 at a time and you might be able to keep commonly bought items in stock.

They ran out of 1 ton engine hoist/ cherry picker. And when asked if they had it they just told me they were out and wouldnt tell me when they will have more.. I wish the workers there would be more informative with knowledge on their tools as well.. all the workers are gals and it doesnt matter if they are gals but their ones that dont know much about tools and mechanical situations

When you buy something you expect it to work. But when it doesnt you expect the company to make it right. I bought a pressure washer from here, took it home and it quit working within 2 minutes. When I took it back they charge me a 20% stocking fee because I didnt want to get the same one again. This was my last purchase from here.

I went to harbor freight to purchase a MIG welder but after picking the one out I wanted from their app and loading my cart up with a helmet and all the other accessories I would need as a beginner welder I went to the counter and they told me that that sale for that welder was no longer going and even though I showed them the price that was on their app they would not honor it so I let them put the stuff away in my cart and went over to Home Depot and bought a MIG welder that Im very happy with.I gave them three stars because they do have some very good deals and I still plan to shop there I just cant give them five stars for the reason they did not honor the price from their ad on their app..

What can I say, this place does have many tools and some materials that are incredible values but you can end up with a return once in a while but I feel an extra trip to exchange or refund once in a blue moon is well worth the hassle when looking at those prices from the big stores.Hand tools have never let me down but I did have to return a drill once since the chuck had a bit of a wobble I dont mind cause I have many tools that I never could of justified owning had I looked to buy at other more expensive stores. Feels good man.

Great variety of products. They have warranty plans on most larger expensive items. Their return policy is good. We have never had any problems here. My husband just bought a welder and extra items for the welder but we are long time shoppers. The app is a great way to utilize coupons with ease as well as checking on product prices.

Apparently supervisors dont operate cash registers. A line of 4 people waiting for some lady trying to return something and the only underling cashier. Two fancier than thou guys were talking about managerial issues and couldnt be bothered to help the customers that allow them a job. So, wont go back unless I have to. Might drive to Boise unless the management is too elite to sell goods to customers. Im really annoyed 😠

Cleanest Harbor Freight Ive ever been in, also nice tall ceilings... but they were low /out of a lot maybe from covid. I just needed a lug nut wrench for the trip back to Oregon they had it...

If you need a specialty tool or youre looking for some decent affordable tools to fill some empty spaces in your rollaway tool chest, dont hesitate to hit Harbor Freight if you I know what you like and what to look for in decent tools theres some nice stuff to be had add a good price thatll save you some $ while helping you get the job done. As a mechanic I can personally vouch for their higher end ratcheting wrenches and anodized multi-colored socket sets just to name a few things 🤓 ..

Absolutely fantastic service. I went in with two broken sockets from a tool set but didnt have an account set up with them. They signed me up for a warranty account for the future AND THEY REPLACED THE WHOLE $50 SET. Amazing customer service will continue to use them.

Update date bottom, I only give 3 stars when the store in gernaral is worth all 5, however I had interactions with 3 of the stores employees and 2 of the 3 seem to be annoyed by my question of where to locate a product in the store. The cashier on the other hand was fabulous I wish I could remember her name.------ It has been 3 months sense my original review and I have to say it is just literally has become one of the best store ever. I even signed up for their memberships even did the two-year package inside track club the rude employees are gone and much more pleasant and knowledgeable employees have taken residence inn their spots hes employees are always ready and eager to help candy appear to enjoy and be happy tazewell. They have become almost like family in my heart they truely I love this harbor freight and how cant you when their layout of the store allows fpr plenty of space to move around and not trip over other customers well they also keep it organize 20 display models up so yes they are not overwhelming when your shopping so I take my original three stars and they give him the full five

Love this place. I go here a lot for tools and paint supplies. The coupons from the book and saving are well worth the membership fee if you do a lot of handyman work or mechanic work.

Lots of tools, but you either pay a premium price for regular tools or you buy cheap tools at a regular price. They have good deals occasionally if you dont mind dollar-store quality. Check out their flyer for coupons. People like harbor freight for the cheap tools, but you dont quite get what you paid for.

Great place to get inexpensive. Home user grade tools. You get what you pay for, harbor freight has many lines of tools and ranging from cheap junk to prosumer grade. The staff is retail staff not professional tool sales people do your homework before you buy and you can get some great deals here.
