Time management at this place is really disappointing. 2.5 for a scheduled oil change? Called ahead, set up the appointment, arrived 10 minutes early… sat and waited for 2.5 hours. Nothing else was done at all, just the oil change that is covered by the maintenance plan. Not sure what takes that long. I have done plenty of oil changes and I only take about 30 minutes. The Jiffy Lube down the road is 10-15 minutes. It was like this the last three times I’ve been here. It’s a decent waiting area, nothing to complain about in there, but they have no respect for your time. Wishing I hadn’t bought the warranty maintenance plan at this point. Going to find another Ford place to try to take my truck to and see if they are any better.
Greeted by a very nice salesperson. Palestinian decent. I was dropping off my car for service and still he helped me find the drop box and answered my questions even though I wasnt buying. Ill definitely will return when I buy my electric pick up.Called the day before service writer explained the hours for drop off, understood my questions right away and explained what was going to happen regarding the recall notices. (All brands have recall notices.) Nice nice dealer.
Went into Fair Oaks today and was looking for a certain car. Jeremy Hopkins was there to greet me at the door and took care of me from there. He was great the whole time. Definitely coming back for my next car in the future. Great experience.
If I could give negative stars I would.I was inquiring about a car that was still listed as available. Called and ask to confirm the vehicle was still available before I drove down there 1hr away.Sales person Evelyn called back assuring the car was not sold and encouraged me to drive there. Only to show up to another sales man say it sold 1-2 days ago.Beyond furious for eating my time.Please stay away for this dealer they don’t know what they are doing!!!! Look elsewhere!! Don’t waste your time

Typical dealer. Good at oil changes but service writer informs you, the customer, of upcoming $300 fuel system flushes and hundreds of dollars serpentine belt and tensioner needs (that’s why on my cars I usually do my own service.While hanging around waiting for service to finish a salesperson, Andy, asked if I was interested in seeing something. He let me look at a few things then wanted to start working numbers. Of course I tell him I don’t want to buy in the middle of a chip shortage with no good discounts and he persisted. First saying there wasn’t an “X” plan for my company available then after some talking it was suddenly there.When I finally said I’ll wait for a better opportunity in the future he got mad and asked why I “wasted” his time.
Jose, the salesman I worked with was a pleasure to do business with. Since buying a new vehicle from him he has checked in on me to make sure I was enjoying the truck and seeing if I needed help with anything. Bob in the service department was also really professional and offered me a great deal on interior and exterior protection services.

It took so many hours of paperwork to lease our vehicle. Once everything was set and done we were exhausted and ready to leave with our new car! Nope, they kept adding on fees and wanted more and more down. Totally taking advantage. I was so frustrated and defeated. I never left a dealership feeling as lousy as I did. Years later we returned the lease. Took it in for an inspection a week prior to know final price. Left it there all day. Finally picked it up and the never did the inspection! They said what the cost would be for oil change and brake pads. Are you kidding? That’s not the final price! I left it there all day and they couldn’t inspect it?! I wanted to know price so I would be prepared to pay without complete shock in case they added on extra fees as usual. Complete waste of time, terrible customer service, and communication. They totally take advantage of people and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Went to buy a new vehicle at Rod Baker and couldn’t believe how easy and delightful it was to deal with them. Ugh, Fair Oaks is terrible!!!

Had quite a bit of work done on my Escape on this appointment. Replaced rear shocks, bushings, and several miscellaneous items including running a diagnostic on the Sync system of my radio and satellite sound system. John Luciano is an excellent Service Consultant and walked me through everything that needed to be done, including working with the contact for my Ford Extended Warranty which saved me 50% on a significant bill. Due to the length of time on the job they gave me a ride home to Bolingbrook so I could pick the car up in the evening. The Escape now rides like a new car!Fair Oaks always does an excellent job. I am glad that I purchased my Escape from them in 2015.

Check this out! Its Friday afternoon at 4:50pm when I discover that my tail light is burned out on my classic Thunderbird convertible which my wife and I planned to take on a weekend getaway. Knowing that the service department closed at 5pm, I chose to just go there and hope for the best as I didnt want just anybody to work on my car. I drive in and was greeted by Joe the service advisor of the day and asked him when they closed and he replied 10 minutes. When I told him what I needed and that we were supposed to take a weekend cruise and I was concerned for our safety, he said that he would see what he could do. Ten minutes later I was on the road and our weekend cruise with the top down could not have been better. Thank you Fair Oaks and most important, thank you Joe for exceeding my expectations and going the extra mile!

Shop around this Ford dealership service dept takes advantage and is priced higher than other Ford dealers in the area. Due to a labor strike at other dealers we took the car here and they took advantage by doubling the price for a simple oil change. Not to mention quoted 50% higher for a recommend service. Its unfortunate because we would have used them regularly for our cars but rather lesson learned. These guys are why the industry has a bad reputation. Get a better deal elsewhere.

We were just in today not too long ago. Giovanni was great help towards the end. But the one guy that helped us before had a very rude, had an Attitude. Very unprofessional. When he was told to walk away, he continued to run his mouth about what had happened while to his other friends while looking at us. Would come back but not to talk to that guy.

I also experienced Fair Oaks Fords false advertising and attempts to gouge customers on popular vehicles or those that are in short supply. On June 29th I was checking online for availability at dealerships of a Mustang Mach-E. I came across a Mach-E at Fair Oaks Ford like the one I had been looking for so I filled out Fords online form to contact the dealership about the car.A very short time later I received an email from Fair Oaks Ford stating that they had received my inquiry and that I would be contacted shortly about the car. I then received another email from a Fair Oaks Ford sales person. (Im intentionally leaving employee names out of this negative review). This email detailed the vehicle, the equipment, etc. It also clearly detailed the price. The MSRP/LIST was $56640 which was lined out and the Dealer Price was listed as $56640 MSRP.Because I had been looking for this vehicle for awhile and had actually test driven one I knew this was what I wanted. I responded to the email that stated Dealer Price $56640. I said I would take it and to contact me regarding payment and delivery. The emailed response was that the car would not be sold for $56000 but would be sold for $10000 more because it was the only one they had, it was the only one in the area, and the vehicle was in high demand.OK, I get it and I agree that the owner of property should be able to price it as they want. But thats not what Fair Oaks Ford did here. They marketed this car at $56640 right up to the point where someone said OK and then they changed the price. Presumably, Fair Oaks Ford and Ford Motor Co. dont want to blatantly show people the gouging that is going on so they dont list the real price on advertising and marketing materials. Thats very disingenuous and very unfortunate during a time when the U.S. is trying to recover from supply chain problems caused by the Covid pandemic shutdowns.I complained to Fair Oaks Ford and Ford customer service. Someone from Fair Oaks Ford called me back and responded that they were sympathetic and would see what they could do and get back to me that day or for sure the next day. That was a couple days ago and you can guess what I heard back. Thats right nothing, crickets.Ford customer service also showed very little interest in their dealerships business practices. That was disappointing. To be honest, I was very much comparing the Mach-E and the Tesla Model Y. I drove both cars and liked them both a lot. The tie breaker for me was pretty much the $7500 federal tax break that the Mach-E currently has. Tesla has used up all of the rebate money allocated to them. It would seem that some of the sales that Ford is getting on the Mach-E are courtesy of the rebate. Ford and Fair Oaks Ford Lincoln of Naperville may be trying to get more than a little of this benefit back from the consumer for themselves. With this pricing scheme it may be cheaper to buy the Tesla without the tax rebate. Its faster too! I do not recommend this dealership.

The buying process was quick and easy, the delivery process was a disaster.Came in on a Thursday, worked with Chris. Salesman was great and made the process of the deal super simple, Moe Sales Manager and Sean Finance Manager did a great job at point of sale. Only issue was the car needed an alignment which Moe told me they would take care of. Left a down payment as I was financing myself, called Friday after emailing letter of intent from my bank told them the check would be overnighted Monday and I would come get the car Tuesday between 6:30 and 7. Monday, email the tracking number for check, reiterate the time I will be there Tuesday. Tuesday email delivery confirmation and call to confirm the car will be ready between 6:30 and 7. Arrive at 6:40, no one knows anything about my pickup, wait for a manager to confirm the check arrived, which I called and told them it did. They bring the car around, it’s clearly been parked since I left it Thursday, covered in bird droppings, not washed, all stickers still on windows and floor mats still in the trunk. They can’t find my spare key, tell me they will overnight it the next day, that was 3 days ago and I still have no key. Get in the car and it is completely out of gas, drive down the road and it either wasn’t aligned, or they managed to make the steering wheel the exact same amount off to the left and pull right just as much.Seemed to be a good dealership but the delivery was one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever had, seems like they only care about the customer until the check clears.

Usually we research vehicles extensively before we make major purchases, but when we suddenly had to replace our existing SUV he made the process pleasant and friendly. It was nice not to feel pressured, and our new ride is doing great!
Took my car for a warranty service and fair oaks said they didn’t want to fix it because the car had been abused. I drive normally and my work is only 5 minutes from my house so to say I abuse my car was a massive surprise. Tried to talk to them about returning my warranty and fair oaks said they weren’t able to that it wasn’t in their hands to. Never buy or take your car here for servicing you won’t get what you want unless you want to pay for overpriced mechanics that leave you with a bad job anyway.
Rude Service department.I called to get pricing on a replacement key from parts. They transferred me to service so they could quote a price on programming the key. They quoted $55 HIGHER than Haggerty and $30 HIGHER than River View. I asked him why it was more and he said “Because that’s what we charge.”Fine. I will never service my truck there and I will recommend your competitors to anyone I know.

I ordered a driver side mirror which they ordered based on the vin number of my truck and the wrong part came in. It still fit the truck but it wasnt the xlt chrome side mirror with blinker. This is also my fault for not checking the part before I left.Either regard, Mike in the service department was terrific!

Our service guy, John Mazurek, whom I dealt with for now over 26 years, recommended a sales rep by the name of Jose Santiago, and I honestly can not say enough about this gentleman. He was the most easy going, patient man Ive met in the car industry. Not being computer savvy he is willing to now take the time to show myself how to use all these new bells and whistles these newer cars come with, that my older model did not have. Have come in three times on 8/15, 9/9, 9/25 and each time they tell me the car imlooking for is “on another lot” then they try to upsell me on a new truck costing 300% over my budget. Its happened the exact same way three times in under 6 weeks. I will never be back they dont treat customers right. Bought a mustang here in 2008 and my dad bought a honda from here in 2010 back in the good old days when thet were on ogden and naper blvd. Back in the day when youd walk in and theyd have only the cars advertised as advertised at the price advertised and not try to upsellyou.

They made sure that all my vehicle issues were addressed, repaired and explained. Work was done in the time promised and covered under warranty. I was fully satisfied, even happy about how this went.
I really liked the gentleman I spoke with, he was very nice, but unfortunately all he could tell me was; we have no idea what is wrong with your 2019 Ford eco-sport, here’s your keys, it’s parked out front and by the way it’s free of charge, have a great day. So they did nothing to help me with a problem that I have, didn’t even suggest giving me a loaner while they further look into the problem that I am having and try to fix it, and I am still having the issue ☹️

I had an appointment to order a new Ford Maverick. Showed up to be led by one of the salesmen to his desk where I was left for several minutes. Meanwhile I saw him in casual conversation with others at the sales desk, and then with another customer. He stopped me from walking out then proceeded to tell me I need to order at home and bring the printout to the dealer. Truth is this was bs as he just didn’t want to help me and was mad that I called him out for leaving me at his desk. I hate being treated like this, especially knowing I was an easy sale. Will not be coming back.
I dislike shopping for cars, there are many reasons why but the main one is the core of being in sales and pushing a customer to commit to a sale. I want to thank Badges, my sales guy here. My family and I would like to thank Michael Magro for an exceptional service and professionalism. Last Saturday we were driving from Countryside IL to the Little Beans Café with our 3 y/o daughter, when suddenly the vehicle (2018 EcoSport) began to shake upon acceleration. Since it was not safe to continue the trip, we looked for a closest Ford dealership to our location, which happened to be Fair Oaks. Of course the dealership was crowded - this is Saturday afternoon on the Labor Day weekend. I didnt have much hope that our vehicle will be even checked today. Until I spoke with Michael. I have explained to him that we are basically stuck about 40 mins away from home, with a baby in a car-seat. So even taking an Uber back home is a bit problematic. My only question was if it is safe to drive home. Mike took the car in immediately. After an hour of so, Mike called me with a plan. He said that the CV axle shaft has to be replaced. He suggested to leave the car at the dealership for repair, and offered us a loaner so we could drive home with the baby. Everything was quick and simple. My vehicle was ready today, and it runs perfectly. Although we have a Ford dealership located about 5 minutes from out house, we will serve our vehicles at Fair Oaks, thanks to Michael.BTW, there is a very nice playground about 4 minutes walking distance from the dealership. So you can spend a good time with kids while waiting for the vehicle.

VERY happy with my purchase! I traded in my 2016 Hyundai Sonata car for a 2020 Ford Fusion, best experience I have had with the 3 dealers Ive purchased from in my past.
