I shopped around for contractors to do a major remodel on my house. I have lived in my home for 25 years and remodeled it 14 years ago; so I know how difficult living in a house while a remodel is taking place can be. I chose Salvia Tile and Stone to do my remodel because Vince and his staff seemed to be the most genuine and real people I came across during my search for a contractor. They said I could stay in my house during the remodel and they would do whatever was necessary to make me and my family comfortable. Also, them came in with a very competitive price. My remodel consisted of my master bedroom, closet and bathroom, pool bath, laundry room, living room and total redo on my pool area. The truth is you never know what you are going to get until it is underway and even then you never know how your contractor will treat you or react when a problem or difficulty occurs. I dont often write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for Vince and Salvia Tile and Stone because they not only did a great job from start to finish, they blew me away with their customer service and finished work. These guys put up a temporary separation wall between my remodel and where my family and I were still using the house. they also put in temporary portable air conditioners to make sure we were comfortable during the process. the rooms they did turned out to be better than my expectations. They finished the job early and actually did more then I contracted them for and did not charge me more money. It is almost impossible to find people like that these days. After I picked out my granite for my shower and vanity in my master bathroom, I waited too long to pull the trigger and when I finally made up my mind, the slabs I picked out were gone. I was so mad at myself for that stupid mistake. The only granite I could find that was similar was more expensive, higher level granite and I did not want to go over budget. Salvia got that granite for me and installed it beautifully and did not charge me anything additional. That was over the top. I also asked them to do numerous additional little things along the way and they were always happy to do whatever I asked of them. I expected a big additional work invoice at the end of the job and it did not come. That kind of service and commitment to customer satisfaction is so rare. If you are planning a remodel, I recommend you give Vince and Salvia Tile and Stone an opportunity to bid. Once you meet these guys, and girls, you may find it hard to believe they are really as nice as they seem, but its true. I cant recommend them strongly enough! Thanks guys for an amazing remodel!
Very good offer end good Service
I happened to stumble upon this company via Google when I was looking for tile companies near me. And I am happy I did. I found amazing bathroom boarders that are modern & well worth the price. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I am extremely happy that the tiles will be coming in a few days so my contractors can finish the job they started and had to delay because of locating the original tiles which we couldn’t find. But I’m happy we didn’t find them because I am extremely happy with my order. I highly recommend this company.
After getting two over the top quotes on tile work, and kitchen and bath remodeling, I came across Salvia Tile and Stone. Upon visiting their showroom, we were warmly welcomed by Jeff who is very knowledgeable in all aspects of tile and cabinetry. Jeff then arranged to visit our home to take measurements and get an idea first hand of the work we wanted done. Jeff spent quite a bit of time with us and promised a quick turn around on the quote. When we got it, the quote was very reasonable and in line with what we expected when we started the process. I worked through some questions with Vince to finalize the deal and in fact, we decided to add work to our original plan! After working with Jeff on the final selection of finishes, the project was turned over to Kathi who is an exceptional project manager. We were back home in NJ during the project execution and Kathi kept us informed, called with questions and made us feel comfortable that the work was progressing as planned. She is a true pro. When we visited upon completion, everything was as promised, and a couple of punch list items were immediately taken care of. Even our home watch person was impressed with the work done by Salvia Tile and Stone. I highly recommend them! I am looking forward to spending more time in my renovated home.
I wanted to redo my kitchen and convert my guest bathroom tub to a stall shower. The owner Vince came to give me ideas and get what he needed to provide an estimate. He told me what would work and what wouldnt and made some very good and practical suggestions. The estimate I received was significantly less than the largest well-known contractor in the area but I think the quality product and skilled workers were just as good. Inevitably when something didnt work out as planned, Kathi worked with us to make recommendations and find an alternative solution. Any follow-up that was required was done without question. There were some delays (county inspectors and code requirements) but none that caused a significant problem. I am very happy with the quality results I received and would recommend them highly.
Great stuff and great products!
Vince, the owner, is a pleasure to work with. He is incredibly responsive (returns texts, phone calls and emails immediately), personable and excellent with customer service. Salvias tile guys are very talented. We renovated two bathrooms and the tile work is absolutely perfect. Their showroom has a huge selection and Kathi is great at helping with design. I found their prices to be very reasonable compared to others locally.
We just finished having the old tile torn out and replaced by Salvia Tile. New carpet in the guests rooms and closets. We had them tear out the master bath tub and reconfigure a new shower. They were the only company willing to tackle two sets of stairs that had carpet on them. They replaced with beautiful travertine tile. Vince, Kathi and Jeff were amazing to work with from the first time we walked in the door. Vince had a bid to us within two days while other companies took their time. He explained how everything would go every step of the way. Any time we called or emailed with questions we received a prompt response. They were fantastic in helping with product selections. All the contractors they sent to our home were first class craftsmen. I would highly recommend this great company.
Everything perfect. I am from Germany and i had a short time window for the installation. So I made an appointment 1 month in advance. They came with 6 workers exactly on time an they did the whole job including cleaning in just 2 days. They wanted to start with the tiles at the opposit wall of the entrance. I told them that I do not want to have the tiles cut close to the entrance where you can see everything. At this point I want the whole tile and not small pieces. They said, it is not possible to cut at the wall, because there they cannot leave the room. I said I open the window and then you can leave via the window. They did this. They put the last tile on the floor laying with their belly on the base of the window face down. Now I have everything perfect. For future objects i would never look for somebody else. I would do that only with Salvia Tile. Thankyou
What a great job! We have just finished replacing all the tile on the floors in our condo with porcelain tiles and replaced the kitchen countertops with quartzite. Salvia tile has done a beautiful, professional and on time job. Working with Kathy, Carlos,Jeff and the rest of the crew was an absolute pleasure We plan on redoing our baths next and we would go nowhere else but Salvia Tile. The choices in the showroom are plentiful but more importantly is the meticulous job they did for us. They are the BEST.Pat and George Vander Vennet
Professional, outstanding quality fabricator, highly recommend them, love my new countertops and backsplash!
