After looking at outdoor kitchens places and not finding a simple bar at a reasonable price, I went to see Hugo at Rock Solid to see if he could build a solid granite bar for me in the simple design I had. Hugo worked with me to pick the granite and refine the design. The price was just a little more than a standard free standing straight polywood bar that I saw. I passed on that one because even though the price was good I really wanted an upscale L-shaped bar. Two weeks later I had my bar just as I pictured it. Thank you Hugo. It is beautiful. I will definitely consider adding the granite bar rail and/or foot rail after the bar stools I ordered arrive and I have a chance to use the bar. I have used Rock Solid for over 5 different projects now and every job has been done quickly and right. I have also recommended them to friends whoever were very happy.

Update: The countertops we purchased a year ago had to be removed by our contractors to replace the cabinets underneath. They surprisingly all came off in one piece, but a smaller piece broke when it fell on our garage floor. Hugo and Justin were very understanding and helped me find the perfect piece to match our existing countertops. Im so thankful for the courteous staff at Rock Solid and how they went above and beyond to help me, again!Fantastic selection, helpful staff, great prices! We purchased quartzite kitchen countertops for our home. Thank you Hugo and Justin!

Rock Solid is an excellent company. They have a tremendous selection of granite and quartzite. My wife Gina and I had the good fortune of meeting Hugo Vargas, the owner, on our first visit there. He spent a considerable amount of time with us helping us pick the right pieces of quartzite for our kitchen remodel. He also made sure we were completely satisfied with the finished product. When we had an issue with one slab he did not hesitate to replace it. We felt the pricing was very fair and reasonable. We highly recommend Rock Solid.

I do not recommend this company. I found Fernando difficult to communicate with (he was always too busy-(-I guess working with the person who gave an excellent rating) . The countertops were templated on the 8th of Feb and installed on the the 25th.. Fernando waited until the day before installation to tell me that I needed another $400 of quartz to fabricate them After installation the back splash was one quarter of an inch too short. Person templating didnt allow for the difference in thickness of the new material. However a bar area also had the countertop replaced, and the backsplash was the correct height.???? The caulk job was terrible. I was so exhausted from the whole process I didnt bother calling them and arguing with them. I just paid my handyman to correct the caulk and paint. I replaced the bathroom countertop by another company and had no problems at all----beautiful job and the backsplash was the correct height.

As for Sean my Sales guy he was on top of this large project since the beginning going above, and beyond always making sure everything was done right from making sure the measurements were exact to coming through that I was happy with the Product. We have used Rock Solid for remodeling both our primary home and a condo we own. We have been extremely pleased with the workmanship of the installers in all of our projects. Additionally, we have found the selections of granite far superior to the other facilities we visited prior to making our decision. If Rock Solid happens not to have EXACTLY what you are looking for, they will allow you to go to a wholesale facility and you will definitely find what you desire.......Rick Solid prices are extremely competitive and ....with the quality of workmanship.....You will have a finished job that will remain beautiful for many many years.

We just finished our new kitchen with quartz countertops from Rock Solid. Last April we also used them to replace the countertops in another house we owned in Naples. Both times they did an excellent job. The workmanship was excellent, the installers were on time and very courteous. Customer service was always very accommodating with our requests. Something went wrong with my order. As soon as it was noticed - the day of install - I called the office and within five minutes the owner called me with a plan. I had to wait a couple days for him to be able to fix the problem, but he did and my quartz countertops look great.Its always nice when there isnt a problem, but it is also very nice to know if there is a problem, someone is going care enough to fix it.

We found the perfect granite slabs we were looking for at Rock Solid for our kitchen and bathrooms. The template was done and soon after the installation. Unfortunately, we were not happy because the pattern went in two different directions on either side of the seam which was placed center to our kitchen sink. Also, they were not installed evenly, meaning the granite stuck out further to the right of our stove than to the left among a couple of other items we were not happy with. We were never asked, nor did we know, that we were supposed to see and approve the template laid out on the slabs of granite before they move it into production. Hugo and Renato told us they didnt have any more of the granite we selected which was a huge problem because part of my design was to have matching granite in the kitchen and the bathrooms. They immediately got on the phone and contacted the distributor to see if they might have sold additional matching slabs from the same quarry anywhere else in FL and luckily they did sell them to a granite company in Tampa. Rock Solid had the slabs shipped to them in Naples. We asked for their best template guy and installers to work with us and its now installed perfectly and we are very happy that Hugo stepped up and did everything to make their wrong right. I asked for no seam in the center of our sink which they accommodated and where there are seams you can barely see them. Although it was a little more stressful than anticipated, Hugo and Renato gave us the end result we wanted and we are very happy customers!!!

Do not use these people. They dont explain the countertop process or materials, or confirm type of sink and then when they make a mistake wont fix the product. They then wanted 300 dollars more from me to fix their error!!!! I ordered it June 14th and they finally after procrastinating, wanted to install it jul 10th. Almost a whole month later. The incompetence runs deepI also just found out that they never gave me the option of an under mount or vessel sink. I found out under mounts are more expensive. I told Alberto I wanted a vessel sink at the showroom but he marked the wrong thing in the order form. Then I told the template guy as well. But Hugo says it’s my fault. Unreal. And when we ran into a problem, they stepped up quickly with solutions. It says so much about a company they way they handle problems. I cant imagine where these other reviews came from.We had our counters installed last week and couldnt be happier.We did have the option to purchase the thinner and less expensive granite, but did not. If you purchase the thinner material you cant expect it to be the same.All aspects of our time spent with Rock Solids initial meeting, the day of measuring and the day of installation was top notch. Picked out my granite for my kitchen and 2 bathrooms, called summer sand. Cost was qouted $7,800. Required 50% deposit on my credit card on 11/21/18 Worked with Justin on 11/21/18 to confirm template date 12/11/18 and installation on 12/20/18, all in writing on invoice. Justin left Rock Solid before template date. Template was done on 12/11.Hired plumbers for 12/20 to remove old faucets and to come back after counter installation to put in all new faucets. Received a call on 12/18 after 6pm cancelling my installation. They said they could not match the granite design and needed to delay the job to Saturday, 12/21/18. That was not acceptable because I could not get my plumber on that short notice and his fee for 2 trips would be double for the work on a weekend. My plumber was not surprised and before Christmas was unable to reschedule until I had a confirmed installation date in 2019.Stopped by after Christmas to find scheduler, named Laura (x1004). Called to let her know I needed 1/10/19 for installation. Called twice, no call back. Stopped in 1/3/19 during my work hours to get 1/10/19 confirmed. Hugo (x1008), the owner called me after I waited 10 minutes. He called saying he would confirm 1/10/19 date and viewing of granite prior to installation by a follow-up call that evening or morning of 1/4/19. No call from Hugo! He says he had to call in Justin to find my granite slab.Walked in this morning, 1/5/19 to cancel order. No Hugo available. He called me when I wanted to cancel the order and get my $3900.00 back. He was reasonable because I am confident I am not the only customer to want a refund, based on numerous reviews on sites.Too many delays, short notice on confirmations for appointments, lack of product knowledge, lack of customer service and just a BAD gut feeling about their business model. So sad because I was drawn immediately to my granite for my home. Some things are not meant to be. Now to get my credit on my credit card. Do not pay by check...may not get 50% deposit back.

Beware...I purchased granite tops for 3 bathrooms six years ago. They now have fissures all over them. We have no pets, no kids and no guests. We are only here 6 months. I polish and clean them weekly..I’m very neat and clean and do not abuse things. I’m so disappointed with them and the money I spent. I’m having a kitchen remodel and I asked the granite expert why this was happening..he said..thin granite..not quality. I have granite back in Pa older than these and never had a fissure. Be sure and discuss the thickness of your granite when buying ...better yet shop around..

This was an easy experience dealing with Rock Solid. Nelson was great on the sales end and the crews that did the templates and installs were kind and professional. Even though we had a crack that appeared a few weeks after install, they came out and replaced the entire 3x12 slab. It didnt match the adjoining 3x 8 slab perfectly, so they replaced it as well..Cant ask for better customer service than that! Beautiful install!

This place is a joke. They advertise all this stuff and its all just to get you in an take advantage. 3 weeks kitchenless waiting on the granite to be installed when we were assured it would take 7 days. Anything to get the sale! Wouldnt recommend to anyone. Use someone local who wont give you the run around. All the advertising of $999 kitchen is based on 1 slab choice when they tell you they have such a selection, not true. And they price you out and never tell you they are pricing at 2cm when all your other pricing is 3cm. Just try to get you there and charge you triple the price. You will regret shopping here.

I selected a slab of granite from ROCK SOLID and was told it was quartz. One of the finest materials for my counter top. A year later I was having some cabinet repair done( by another company) and they noticed the counter top and they were able to determine and show how it wasnt what ROCK SOLID said it was and charged me for!!!! Be careful shoppers they are scammmers!! Plus they took an extra 3 weeks to finish the job!

Called to get a quote. Was told to take pictures and send them in. Done that. 3 days later no quote . They lost out on a big project with more to follow . There customer services really sucks. Rock solid worked with us on template and install date as we had to change several times due to cabinet delays. The countertop was installed today and the craftmanship of the cut counter was excellent only to be exceeded by the beautiful installation by their 2 workmen. Restoring our Kitchen has been difficult, so it was really a great pleasure to have one of the most important installations come out so well!

I’m updating my review due to the fact that Carlos came thru and took care of the problem described below. He stood by the fact that it was their fault by not communicating the issue of replacing the outlet covers and ensuring everything was working properly. He contacted us the first thing the next morning and arranged to have an electrician at our house to fix the problem. The electrician was there as promised and handled everything. Don’t be afraid to hire them to do your granite work. They did beautiful work and were easy to work with. We had an unfortunate experience that was due to the neglect of the installer, not Rock Solid itself. In the end Carlos came thru with flying colors and we are back to everything working as it should. Below is my original review.We contracted with Rock Solid to install granite countertops/backsplash in our kitchen. They came and did the template and told us they would do the countertop install on 24 Oct 2019 and the backsplash install on 28 Oct 2019. On 24 Oct, the installer had a flat tire on I-75 and the install was pushed to 25 Oct. On 28 Oct they returned to do the backsplash install. Electrical outlet covers had to be removed, which they did. Upon completion, we were told they could not put them back on because they needed longer screws and didnt have any. They also neglected to tell us one of the outlets sparked, which triggered the breaker controlling 3 outlets and the microwave. We had another appointment and did not have time to check the outlets. When we got back home we noticed the microwave was not on and the ceiling fan lights did not work. Upon checking the breaker, we were unable to reset the one controlling the outlets, ceiling fan and the microwave. I had already given a check for the remainder of the job. I called Rock Solid and spoke to three people. I was told someone would be at our house that evening to fix it. No one showed up. I am in the process of stopping payment on the check and they will not be paid until this issue is repaired. The countertops and backsplash look wonderful, but we should have been informed of the other issues so they could of been taken care of. Now we have to wait until the next day to call Rock Solid back to see when they will be fixing the problem. The reason for the 2-star review was because of the lack of communication from the installer who created the problem and the managers at Rock Solid for not following thru on making it right. Once the issue is fixed a new check will be issued for the remainder of the job, minus the cost of the stop payment. This could have been avoided if we had been informed of what had happened. In my opinion they need to have an electrician and plumber on staff. We had to pay a plumber additional funds to disconnect and re-connect the sink because Rock Solid does not handle it. Before you contract with them, get all the specifics as to what they do and dont do. Do not pay the final installment until you are sure everything is done properly. We are very disappointed in the lack of caring by the managers.

Went in expecting to pay way more and wait a lot longer than I did. Affordable prices and quick turnaround! Our counters were installed in a week and they did a great job!

In the beginning we got there and my family and I got attended on the spot. I couldnt deny that it was the pleasant to be treated fast. Now we are there and the rock solid employee is telling us the prices per square feet. Keep in mind the granite they show you is not what youre getting. We go through all this time wasted and fill out the paper work saying yes to everything. They come out with a piece of granite thats ¾ while on display they all had 1 inch or more. How big of suckers do they think we are. So after filling out the contract we then are informed that we are getting a small size. Keep in mind we have already signed it. Rock solid is a waste of time. They go from 2 to 3,000 and then have the audacity to look at you in the face and say that the worker outside was showing us the wrong pieces. The only thing wrong is the way their services are done. We found another place thats competition and have us exactly what we wanted and also and extra 3 ft for 2100. Now thats what I call a business. Just a heads up so no one else gets played while being there. All I can say these reviews that are 5 stars are bought. They are definitely not 5 star material. More or less -1 star. Worse company ever.Manny

Cant say much about a company that when I requested a quote, they called once and never heard from them again. Rock Solid must not need the business. I wont call again.

Let me tell you about my experience at rock solid their staff was very knowledgeable very friendly I was asked several times I have been helped and if I have any questions to ask. My salesman was Eric. Rock solid has the largest selection by far. And their pricing was very fair. My templater was Danny and he was very helpful in pointing out good ways of laying out the stone that way I can see the full potential of the graining and the patterns. Wilson was my installer very kind they cleaned up after themselves and I enjoy them being in my home. Overall Rock Solid rock the granite world.

Stay away from Rock Solid counter tops. They promise you the moon and you get nothing but lies. We are very disappointed in the work Rock Solid did and they just seem to blow you off without even remembering that you are one of their customers. I was not WOWED by Rock Solid counter tops, go to a company that will back up their work and make sure you are completely satisfied.

Just had our new quartz countertops installed last week and we are so happy we went with Hugo and his team. His staff was very patient while we selected what we wanted, they made great suggestions as to the cut and color that would compliment our new cabinets, and which sink would look best in our configuration. The team that came out to measure for cutting was very quick and accurate (they fit perfect!). When Hugos men came to install the countertops, it was very apparent they knew what they were doing, and they were very friendly and professional. We are very pleased with the quality of our new counters, and their work. We cant wait till we renovate our bathroom and floors, we are definitely going back.

I was recommended to this company by someone and I didnt even read the reviews until after. Despite some negative reviews I had a positive experience with rock solid. Within 2 weeks I had template done and installation. The granite came with zero seams despite them thinking we might need 2 seams! I was very pleased with whole experience except the part where they never called me to schedule install they just picked a date. Dave my sales guy was able to get it fixed, but overall it was a great experience. I was onsite whole time and made sure holes were perfect size to fit faucet, R/O and diaper dispenser. Only complaint is one of my corner cabinets was broken and they did fix it but once they put that granite on and had to slide it the cabinet broke again.This cabinet is in the corner and I was able to get under to pull it together enough to get my shelf to fit again.

I am very disappointed in the thin granite that was installed as well as the extra seam and piecing that they created so that they would not have to cut up an extra slab. It looks very strange to have two pieces of granite pieced together where they should have used one solid piece for this portion of the countertop which is only 5 ft long. When the template was measured I was informed that only one seam was going to be necessary - at the center of the sink. Also, when I was shown the edging, I was shown the edging on a 3 cm thick piece of granite, not the 2 cm piece. At no time was I ever told that I was going to get a 2 cm thick granite countertop. The salesman also me that the installers would be installing brackets to support the counter overhang - but they didnt do that. So overall, a very disappointing experience for something that I have wanted a long time. I could NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I feel that there was lack of honesty and fair dealing . I hate to even give them one star. They dont deserve any!

By far the largest selection in Naples. Vito our salesman was so helpful to us setting up our templates and installation times. The Installers were very professional and courteous I Would recommend to everyone GO TO ROCK SOLID!!!!!!!!!!!

Rock Solid Countertops and more did a incredible job on my house, i went in and talked to the owner he knew all of his product very well i was very impressed. I had a quote in 10 minutes and it beat 5 other granite shops i went to by over 300 dollars the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Rock Solid Countertops and More to anyone.
