Sheila made purchasing this weapon a smooth, stress free transition for me and Im very thankful. Thank you Sheila for your excellent customer service. Debbie Young assisted me in purchasing the just right gun for my needs.Additionally, she went out of her way to schedule me for an individual lesson, and complete the paperwork ahead of time. Debbie is professional, patient, and a true example of the customer first mentality. Due to her expertise and customer service, I am an Alamo first customer!!!!How lucky I am to have Michelle, as my instructor. I have been in education for over 30 years, and I can assure you that Michelle is a natural born educator. It is obvious that Michelle is passionate and knowledgeable about her craft, and that certainly is passed along to her students. Michelle knows that the true test of knowledge is the ability to teach it to someone else. Her questions, modeling, and expertise all stem from this philosophy. Be well assured, the student will not only be competent and well-versed, but will leave with solid comprehension of gun safety, operation, procedures, and hitting that target. Michelle does not just teach the “how”, but the most important “why”. One day when entering for a lesson, I ran into a couple that I consider good friends. They couldn’t stop singing the praises of Michelle, and how she taught his wife to handle a gun, when she had never owned or wanted to shoot a weapon.Expertise, skilled, professional, kindness, and patience are just a few means to describe Michelle. I know I will be a frequent Alamo customer, and want to join special Alamo activities/classes. Michelle’s love of her craft has certainly been passed along. She is a true professional in every sense.Whenever I enter Alamo, I am always met with a friendly hello and a sincere effort to be assisted. Garrett remembers the names of the customers that frequent The Alamo. That and his expertise, professionalism, patience, a delightful personality are just a few reasons why The Alamo has repeat customers and club members. Garrett is always willing to step in and help a fellow worker to make the customer’s experience timely, effortless, and professional. Garrett always makes the customer feel like the most important in the store, and his expertise is obvious. He is a true example of the customer first mentality. Garrett is certainly a professional asset to The Alamo, and should be commended for his dedication and professionalism. Kudos to Garrett.I would like to give a shout out to Clayton. He went out of his way to expedite my transition, and is certainly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He is the kind of employee that creates customers that want to return to The Alamo. He is an excellent employee and should be commended for his talents.

I just wanted to let you know what a first class operation you have. I visited yesterday and met my son there to shoot. I arrived a bit early so had time to browse the store. Your staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Having recently retired from LE and visited many gun stores/ranges, I know this is not always the case. I especially want to recognize “Seth” and the other range officer who gave us our range briefing. All ranges have safety rules, but Seth explained your rules and why you have specific rules. The range was clean and very user friendly. We will be back again.

So there are two reviews here:The first is for the the Alamo Gun Range as a whole. Over time I have come to purchase several firearms here, utilize there range, purchase ammo and even some select parts and protective gear. Only once I can recall a sales person who was a little arrogant know it all. Regardless I have always returned faithfully and tried not to judge the overall organization. Why? Because their other team members are excellent, knowledgeable and friendly providing advice and guidance based on experience and knowledge of the products they sell and use themselves. I respect that and appreciate that, and I highly recommend stopping by, view their selection of firearms and get to know them. They really are a great bunch of folks and they want to help you not sell you ... I am novice in the big scheme of things, I recognize and respect knowledge by those who have it and share it openly regardless of being a novice or expert. Hard to find these days folks. I encourage anyone and everyone to frequent this store to talk to and learn from their people. No one is an expert but they sure come close! The next review pertains to their service department and gunsmithing. Let me tell you something, Chris who helped me was phenomenal, informative and had the best people skills. Again, it is not always about knowledge but how you treat people. Chris has both, great people skills and fantastic gunsmith skills. I had purchased a firearm from another local gun shop who had built me a firearm. When I had issues they refused to help. So I decided to bring it into the Alamo. Chris explained to me what was wrong with my firearm, why it was wrong and was sympathetic to my circumstances as to why my firearm was in the condition it was. Furthermore, he was able to tell me what items and parts on my firearm were dangerous, counterfeit and needed to be replaced. Not only did he replace them with quality parts, he explained why he used what he did and then he helped me pick out a scope that was in my budget, again of quality and reliable manufacturers with warranties etc. Without me questioning or asking or even implying, Chris requested from the manager a discount. He didnt have to do that, but he did. People, its all about people.Folks I can not say enough about this team and their ability. Never judge something, someone or an organization by one instance. People have bad days, we all do.Team Alamo, you have my respect and you have my business.Chris, keep doing what you do and how you do it. It makes a difference not only in your business, but in the world we live in these days. Not only do you have my business, I will make sure I encourage my friends and family to bring there needs to you.5 stars all the way !

My mother and I decided it high time we up our self defense game and visited The Alamo. We were met with the most wonderful and helpful staff. When we explained we would need a lot of help, we were set up with Debbie. We felt like we hit the lottery! Debbie took her time in asking the right questions, and showing us each and every option that matched what we were looking for. She made the process of identifying our best fit a fun, informative, and super simple process. She taught us absolutely everything we needed to know about the range as well, and we both decided to purchase our guns and sign up for memberships, which Debbie explained in detail. After the waiting period, we went back and shot our guns on the wonderful range and Debbie set us up with Taylor, a range officer who was so kind and such a great teacher. He made sure we understood everything we needed to about proper handling of our weapons and then we shot for an hour. That hour went by in the blink of an eye. What a totally awesome experience from start to finish, thanks to Debbie especially and Taylor too! Visit the Alamo and see for yourself the exemplary service and top of the line products they have to offer.

My husband is a retired police officer and during the pandemic I told him I was interested in learning how to shoot. After teaching me the basic safety and handling techniques, we went to the Alamo Range to look at 9mm pistols. While in the store, we met your salesperson, Debbie Young. Debbie was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. She took a considerable amount of time to explain the various features of several pistols. In addition to to her detailed explanations, she answered all my questions. Although my firearms knowledge is limited, Debbie made me feel comfortable and confident that the pistol I eventually chose to purchase would best fit my needs. My husband has bought many guns over the years and knows there are gun shops that offer discount prices. However, we both agreed that Debbie provided a customer service experience not found in other gun shops. As a result of Debbie’s efforts, I decided to make my purchase at the Alamo. Debbie is a definite asset to your business and I wanted to make sure her abilities are recognized.Diane Spector, Naples FL

Rude Cutomer service I have ever experienced. My boyfriend and I went to the gun range for his birthday. When we were trying to ask questions I guy just kept prompting us to fill out a waiver rolling his eyes as if it was an inconvenience. We filled out the waivers and walked up to the counter trying to find the gun we were going to rent. The same customer service guy said oh its a 30 to 45 minute wait now for a lane. We told him thats fine and proceeded to look around the store. As we were walking away another couple came in wanting to rent a lane and was told it would be 30 minutes. Felt as if we were dismissed one because Im female and two we havent been to this particular gun range before. Guess what now we never will we walked straight out and left. I promise you this place will NEVER get my business. The only positive was the selection of the guns.

The place has a nice atmosphere and they seem to be stocking up on ammo - which is good to see. But they prohibit their customers from using reloads! They originally claimed its because they dont want hot loads going through their back stop. After I posted a critical review, management now claims its because of safety concerns. I.e. guns blowing up because of hot loads - they dont state how many. So they have chosen to penalize the MANY for the sins of the FEW. One would never be able to overload a .380 auto to be equivalent to a .38 or .357 - which they allow you to shoot. Two years ago a Patron shot himself with a rented gun at Alamo. Yet they havent stopped renting guns. So their claim for safety concerns is disingenuous. Why doesnt management just be straight forward and say theyre willing to gouge their customers in order to make money. BTW, I have shot in gun clubs all over the country for 44 years. Ive never been in one that prohibited hand loads - until now!

I work at a gun range in Illinois and was visiting in the area and wanted to see this facility. We came in with our friends and were greeted by sales clerk Debbie. I identified our group as visiting out of “towners” and mentioned that I am the retail manager of a shop in Illinois. She was so pleasant and offered to show us around the facility. She showed us the range and then took us upstairs to the private lanes. All in all it is a top notch facility and if the rest of the associates are half as pleasant as Debbie you will be very pleased to patronize this facility.

Shot here for the first time since moving from PA. No comparison to the indoor range Im used to. Limited distances, fully static lanes and small target backboards. Upon leaving I inquired with two range officers about the active program for training drills available upstairs in the Presidential section starting that I was used to this from prior experience. I was asked where that would be and when I said PA, one of them snickered and said great another New Yorker or words to that effect. I asked him if he heard me say NY and at that the other range officer answered my question and de-escalated the abuse. I would suggest that management here do some training on customer relations. My wife and I have had many many wonderful greetings from many many encounters in the month since weve moved here permanently, Ill chalk this one up to youthful inexperience. All other employees here were helpful and courteous.

During this ammo situation, it’s a bad look to ban all steel cased ammo (Tula and Wolf especially). Commercial steel case does not mean steel core. It’s embarrassing that this has to be said. Bimetal jacket can technically spark on steel, but assuming your range is cleaned once a decade and that you clean out the stalls, guilting shooters to buy brass as to not cause a fire is a very slimy tactic to upsell ammo (and then scoop up the brass to sell it).I’ve spent about 400$ or so here alone on ammo and range fees, and the trend from the reviews isn’t just a coincidence- some of your staff seriously needs some work on being hospitable. Out of respect for the staff here that are awesome, I’m giving two stars. However, the policies and culture this range is attracting makes me hesitant to return for my own leisure. If you guys clarify your steel policy, and begin training and fixing staff culture here, I’ll give 5 stars. Otherwise, I’ll drive further for another range.RESPONSE:Your rule literally says ARMOR-PIERCING, TRACER OR STEEL-CORE AMMUNITION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Jacket =/= core. As I said, update your rules if youre going to crack down on this type of ammo. Its a shame that the second half of the review was ignored as well.

*** In response to your reply below. You are correct, I did not purchase the firearm through you. The warranty in question is Sigs warranty. I dropped it off to see if you could perform a quick repair so I wouldnt have to wait weeks for Sigs warranty department to receive, repair, and send back my firearm. However, you were unable to repair it, opting to send it directly to Sig without any form of notification, and without my authorization. I could have sent it to Sig myself with free shipping and service because it was under their warranty. I have no problem paying you for your service, the issue is that my gun was given back to me damaged, and your facility didnt actually service my gun. Your employees that I dealt with the first day offered me a partial refund, agreeing that if it was their firearm, they would not accept the condition it was being returned in. This being the reason I was originally offered a partial refund. The bottom line is that I did not ask for you to send my gun anywhere for repair. If you were unable to repair it, I should have been notified so I could have picked it up and sent it to Sig myself. I suggest that your facility looks into better forms of communication between customers.*** Original reviewI took my warrantied gun to the Alamo to repair and was charged for looking at it and then sending it back to Sig Sauer to repair. I received it back damaged where the repair was made. It is obvious that they tried to repair themselves and damaged it and then sent to Sig. I paid the $40 for them to look at it and the $20 for them to ship it. Both should have been no charge as it was warrantied however I paid it anyway. When they handed the gun back to me, it was damaged next to the lever that was stuck. I was told by the employee that they would refund me the $40 but a manager was not present to refund through the system and to come back tomorrow. I went back and the guy said he misspoke and could not give me the credit and offered 15% off if I purchased something. So in short I paid for a repair that should have been free only to get it back damaged. Very poor customer service by the manager.

I was told by an associate from the security company we work for that the Alamo offers the blue label deals and I should get my fist glock there. I went in with the intention of purchasing 3 new pistols pistols. One of which they had in stock and was very excited about and two glocks. With that I was going to get 3 tactical light bearing holsters and cut slides for the flocks. Also 3 stream light tactical lights and viper red dot sights and additional 4 clips for each weapon. I do recovery work for bail agencies as well as armed security and body guard work. The clips were for fire arm proficiency test that require atleast 4 clips to qualify. Anyways, I was denied the purchase because they claimed my company was not nationally recognized in accordance with the blue label program’s requirements. He never checked and never tried to find out. Just said no. Additionally I explained to him I was interested in buying all this equipment and all he did after I picked the first pistol is take it to the front and said these guys will help you and walked away. I emailed glock sending them my company I’d and they confirmed I am eligible for the program. Not very happy. And was not going to spend another 3000 dollars there. I really was looking forward to owning my first glock but that’s probably not going to happen. Not just because I couldn’t get the sale, but because of how I was treated. I’m in no way a complicated person. And I wasn’t being difficult so I don’t understand why I was being treated like they didn’t even care about what I wanted to buy or the sales. I even waited for a while without being asked if I needed help cause I know they were busy. I was approached by the manager and he got my pistol but after that just walked away. I was asked several times if I needed help while waiting an hour for my background to come back (which is not their fault ) but other that that I feel very discouraged coming back here. I didn’t even want to use the range after that.

I ordered a gun through their online website which stated 7-10 days shipping time (working days) and I would be notified upon their receipt. After 10 days I called to check on the status and was told it wasnt in yet but should be in any day. I had counted weekends in my timing, so my bad. After 12 working days with no notification, I called again. After 15 minutes of searching, they found my gun and I was told it had been in stock and pulled the day after my order was placed, but they failed to notify me. When I went to pick it up, two different associates search for another 15 minutes to find it. The sales person (female) apologized and was friendly, and mistakes happen, so I wasnt upset. A male associate then took over, did the paperwork, and told me they would notify me after the three day waiting period. On working day five I called to check on it and was told it was ready for pick-up. No call once again.Ive been back several times using the range which I enjoy very much although no one has really been friendly with the exception of the first female associate. Each time Ive been to this range, Ive examined several guns for sale, interested in three different pistols, but have never been approached by anyone asking if I needed assistance. Same response when looking at accessories. Each time there were more associates than customers on the floor. I bought my next pistol at Rural King. Im curious how many sales Alamo has lost for the same reasons.Im a male, 60+ years old, lifelong gun owner, lifelong working class Naples resident, and have been to countless ranges and gun stores. The only negative that I can point out is the requirement for the Presidential membership to shoot rifle caliber, I havent run into that before. Overall, a very positive experience and I will go back, I didnt get to check out the store side very much.

Great place for beginners to experienced. All the staff are about safety and customer service. Ive been here several times and have not had any issues. During season there can be a little wait for the range. Sales personnel are helpful and knowledge. If they dont know the answer, theyll get one someone who does.

We had a great time! From the minute my family and I walked through the doors we were greeted with open arms and the atmosphere of the whole place was amazing! John and Jack assisted us in the store and helped answer all of our questions about purchasing a gun. Once we got to the actual shooting range, Zeke was a tremendous help with showing us how to use the guns and was super friendly. 10/10!!!

I was denied renting a weapon and buying ammo b/c I wasnt a member, but the people in front of me, which they clearly said are not members got to shoot. Ive gone to many ranges in this state and this was the first time I was denied. Made no sense whats so ever. But I guess thats how brown veterans get treated in that part of town... oh no, a darky with a gun, watch out!.

Exceptional knowledge and service. I was impressed with the time taken to work through different gun options and considerations I had not contemplated. Miles is EXTREMELY helpful on the range and can improve your shot in 3 minutes. You are doing yourself a disservice to shop anywhere online saving minimal amounts of money and giving up the expertise you find at The Alamo.

They advertise on the radio that they price match but apparently thats only when its convenient for them. When asked why they wont honor their advertisment, the manager, David, said he wouldnt make enough money. Fine. Dont advertise it. I can spend my money just as easily at Rural King. And the staff there is definitely friendlier. Definitely wont be back.

The Alamo Gun Range is the best gun range I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to many all of the country but the staff at the Alamo is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and make you feel welcome and safe. We first came to the range with a groupon and had a great time. A few of the people in our group were first timers. They were trained and had a blast. We’ve been going back ever since!

Incompetent is putting it nicely. Called to ask about ammunition and was told it was only available with range time. I already have ammo just wanted some more and figured, “why not I can use some range time”. Get there and they say I need to fill out a liability waiver (standard anywhere) the guy says go talk to the girl over there. Stand in line for 15 minutes waiting (3 people ahead of me) only for her to say “oh I can’t help you that’s over there”.Expensive, incompetent and terrible customer service. Go spend your money elsewhere, these fools don’t deserve it.

The Alamo is absolutely beautiful. in my opinion the nicest range and firearm store in SW Florida. There is a great selection of guns and accessories in the store and even more on the Alamo website that can be quickly shipped to the store itself. I moved to Florida recently and was looking for my new Home range, and this is definitely the one I will be going to; I wont need to drive an hour away up to Ft. Myers or out to the middle of nowhere and sweat in SWFL heat and humidity just to get my weekly fill of range time.

I took my 22 year old son to the Alamo for an hour on the range for his birthday. My two other sons and I also shot on the range for the first time. We were so impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Scott helped us on the range explaining procedures and how to handle the different guns that we used. He was fantastic and made sure everyone had an excellent time. We will definitely be going back!

I have purchased several guns at The Alamo and the assistance of Josh C. was extremely helpful to me in understanding the workings of my purchases. He was also helpful in filling out the paperwork and then taking it to the next level by helping me to get acquainted with the firearms on the range. Being relatively new to this experience I can safely say Joshs help has been much appreciated.

Recently purchased 320X5 and could not have been happier with both the product and the service. The sales folks along with the range guys went out of their way to make it a perfect sale. This is typical of the service I get when I go to the Alamo . Collin and his guys/girls are at the top of their game when it comes to customer service. Truly an outstanding organization. Shot a gun for the very first time here! It was surprisingly cheap, and they allowed us to rent one gun, and then switch to two others free of charge, only paying for ammunition. On Thursdays they even let veterans have free lanes, which made this visit extra cheap. When on the range, we were assisted by Raul (pronounced Rah-ool, sorry if I messed up your names spelling!), who was absolutely great. He helped us to safely operate our firearms, and boy was it fun. The discussions over gun laws and the like were also pretty great. If you like guns, this is an excellent place with friendly, helpful staff!

On Veterans Day, My friend and I thought it would be a great idea to go shooting at the Alamo range. I had not been to a gun range in a very long time so I was very nervous about shooting my gun. I have an old Taurus 22LR that had been in the garage since the last time it was used. I had a very hard time trying to load the Magazine because I could not push the bullets down, and I could not pull the top part of the gun backwards. Upon arriving, I was greeted at the door with a Christmas card, A free soda of my choice and a pink koozie to keep it cold (which I thought was extremely nice) by a young man named Jack. I explained to jack that i was having a problem with my gun and that even though there was a large selection of rental guns, I wanted to make sure I could use my gun Incase I ever needed to use it to defend myself at home. Jack told me he would be more than happy to make sure it would work properly for me to practice with while on the range. Five minutes later Jack had my gun working like it had been brand new when my husband first bought it for me, and told me it just needed a little TLC and a drop of Oil. I was so excited I could use my own little pistol because I did not think I would’ve been able to that day without taking it somewhere to have it fixed first. My Friend and I had so much fun that we plan on making the Alamo range our weekly get-together. And maybe join the local “Gun Girls” club that shoots at the Alamo every week. This a great place, with great people working there. I think anyone living or visiting Naples FL should check it out. It was very fun.

I honestly have to say. SHADY. Very unhappy with my experience. Bought a gun from the online store that needed to be shipped in. Went in when a few weeks after to pick it up after hearing nothing. Was told after an employee searched for 15 minutes that nothing was there. 2 months later I recieved a call that my gun had been delivered a WEEK before my initial visit(when I was told nothing was there for me) and would be restocked WITHOUT REFUND if I didnt come in the next 4 days to pick it up. Had to rush to shuffle my schedule to drive 2 hours back to Naples to get it. Will not be purchasing with Alamo again!

I have been going to the alamo for four years since moving here from new jersey, and the staff have always been attentive and caring. I have been dealing with Josh. C., who is close to being my personal shopper, and with his guidance helped me make the right choice in purchasing three firearms this past year. He clearly had my best intentions in mind while spending many hours with me at the Alamo before making my purchases. Thanks Josh C.

I went to pick up my online order after receiving the email stating it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, there was a sign in front of the door saying Out for lunch back in 30 minutes. After waiting outside for 15 minutes, the door opened and a customer was leaving, they immediately closed and locked the door again. Waited an additional 20 minutes, and the door opened again to let another customer out, then a female employee stated they were helping customer and will now be an additional 30 minutes for the 4 employees to eat lunch. Not only was I frustrated but as well the several other customers waiting outside were furious. Im completely confused why after the first time they let a customer out, they didnt let us know they still havent taken their lunch. What seems even more confusing is why they couldnt have 2 take lunch while 2 stayed to assist paying customers waiting??? This doesnt sound like a well managed business.

Myself and my wife are completely new to shooting. We decided to take a concealed weapons class at Alamo. The instructors were patient, Polite, helpful and very informative .Since that time. We have visited the store on several occasions for shooting and potential gun purchases .I must say every time we were in the store everyone was very happy to help us and answer any questions we had . Several of the employees actually went out of their way to help my wife try and find a gun that she was comfortable with. ( and that’s not easy )We went through several different models and caliber handguns . We probably spent well over 2 hours with several of the employees and I must say these are the most patient and courteous people I have ever dealt with. I really appreciate all the help and patience we received from them. And we will continue to be customers for all our shooting needs. Thanks Alamo!

I have been with the Alamo for a little over a year now. Their staff is absolutely committed to customer service and they all have a passion to ensure you are happy with your purchase. The range is very nice, well kept and an enjoyment to use. I have taken a few of their training courses, and they all have been very informative and well worth the investment. There are other places around town that tout they are the best - but I wouldnt know - with the friendly staff, firearm selection, and range offering (rentals too), why bother going anywhere else?

I have been shooting at The Alamo at least once a week since it opened. The physical facility is as good as it gets for pistol shooting - 12.5 yards and in. Select rifles may be fired upstairs at a longer range, but you must join to go there. I joined the downstairs membership. I really hate frangible only gun ranges - The Alamo lets you fire whatever you bring in, and sells ammo at reasonable prices if you want some. The price for an annual membership is reasonable if you are shooting a few times a month. Otherwise you are better off paying about $16 per hour for a lane. After reading all of the reviews, I have no idea where the negative folks went, but it certainly was not The Alamo I visit! Things were a bit hectic the first month, but after that it is as good as there is in Florida. Their sales staff do not pounce on you the minute you enter - if you want to look around they let you alone - -I LOVE this! You can go up to a sales person and they will cheerfully help you, and one didnt know the answer to a question, and got the manager to help.In the 65 years I have been shooting and hunting, this is the nicest place I have experienced. The folks are very nice, accommodating, helpful, and do know a lot about firearms. They are soft sell, making it a great place to visit. Those who had a poor experience - - try them again - - you will be surprised at how great this place is.
