Great customer service and pricing. My wife wanted to install an automatic car starter and after reading the reviews from multiple places and pricing out options for the starter that I needed, she found Merrimack Auto Center (in Nashua). They were able to schedule the installation in within a few days (they only install car starters on Mondays) and we dropped it off Sunday night and it was ready Monday around 9:30am. Works perfectly. My Daughter Carol noticed a rattling under her car. Since she moved to Nashua 2 1/2 years ago, I have had her go to the Ford dealer for service & general seasonal maintenance, since I live the other side of Buffalo. They couldnt fit her in for 2 weeks. My other daughter Jessica uses Merrimack Auto Center since she moved to Nashua a year & a half ago.Jess always had high praise for this Garage. Excellent! I received a huge estimate from the dealer for a list of needed repairs and searched for an alternative. I read the reviews for Merrimack Auto and was sold. I brought my car to the Nashua location after hours and they had my rear brakes/rotors changed and an inspection completed by 9:30 the following morning, and at a fraction of the price the dealer wanted. The team was great to work with and Ill definitely be back!

Chads philosophy is basically 100% honesty and integrity. If you dont need it fixed... hell tell you. If you can wait to get it fixed... hell tell you. If its unsafe or will cause damage to the vehicle if you dont fix it... hell tell you. Chad has a daughter, as do I, and if its unsafe he will let you know and honestly, not give you a pass. These guys are great!Went to pep boys down the street just to get a quick car inspection. Those guys told me my breaks were rotting, worn down to metal, rotors were warped, and calipers were sticking and quoted almost $900 and failed my state inspection.Brought it here for a second quote and Merrimack Auto Center LLC told me the breaks are in great shape, no grinding, no warp, and pads are 3 times the width needed to pass and gave me a passed inspection sticker.I will be coming here from now on, even for something as small as an inspection sticker.

Went to get my car inspected ( I just moved to the area) and they were fantastic! Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. The inspection was done quick and efficiently! They even gave me a list of work my car will need in the future and explained it all to me. The waiting area is clean (plus they have guest WiFi). Moved to Nashua about 3 or 4 years back and had a hard time finding a technician that I felt comfortable with. My girlfriend found this shop, and based on how they treated her I decided to start bringing my car there. I have never looked back. All the people there are great. Ive never had a bad experience. I started gong to Merrimack Auto with an old car of my Moms. It had a lot of problems and would have cost thousands. Instead of taking my money they told me there would be more repairs needed to pass inspection soon and that it wasnt worth keeping it. I was shocked and thankful for their honesty. So of course now I wont go anywhere else. They understand when you cant afford everything at once and help you prioritize. Just the other day, instead of charging me for a whole new exhaust they sent me to Lous Custom Exhaust because they could repair it for a fraction of the cost. Who does that? Merrimack Auto is wonderful. They arent condescending, they dont talk over my head, they are courteous, helpful, quick and best of all HONEST! If you live in the Nashua area, dont go anywhere else!!

I recently moved from MA to NH and needed an inspection sticker. I just googled places to get a sticker and called a couple. Merrimack Auto Center had the best price and they also provided great service! I will be going there for now all my car services.

I went to Merrimack Auto Center in Nashua because I had read some great reviews and some great responses. I hope everyone can consider those as well next to mine.I took my old Nissan Altima in for a second opinion after I had received what seemed to me as a pretty high estimate from Gurney across the street. The service at Merrimack was friendly and I was assured that my estimate would be lower than at Gurney.I felt pretty good leaving my car there for repairs and an inspection. I got a call later telling me that repairs would in fact be $300 more than my previous estimate. This was dispiriting, but I decided to bite the bullet, since Merrimack is a 40 minute drive from my house and the driving conditions were horrible and up until this point the staff at Merrimack had seemed honest.I called today and they said that the car was ready for pickup, they also said I could have a 10% discount, which seemed like a way of softening the blow of repairs being so much more than I had been initially quoted. They told me I could pay by check.When I got there I had a check prepared, I signed it and right before I left, I was told that they didnt trust that my check would clear and that I couldnt pay by check. There was no reason for this other than that it was the first check out of my new checkbook.I had put my trust in this shop repeatedly and was willing to go along with their repairs. I paid by debit card, but it felt pretty damn bad to have my integrity questioned after I had put so much faith in them. I am not sure if I will return to Merrimack Auto after this experience. I hope Merrimack reads this review and treats their customers with more trust in the future.

Excellent service, excellent staff, honest, very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Our 01 VW GTI has had an evap problem for more than a year, spent a lot of money and time trying to fix it at a different shop. 5 minutes with Ian at Merrimack Auto and he knew what it was, next day it was fixed and running like new. We took our 03 Jetta in next, thank God my run-in with a curb only cracked the oil pan. While it was at Merrimack Auto I asked them to also do the inspection, defog my headlights and fix the window control switches. Everything was done on time and for the price quoted. We are so happy Ian loves VWs as much as we do!

We spoke last week regarding an HID conversion kit installation. The Nashua Center did a great job. I was hoping for a professional looking installation, but I cant actually find any evidence of work. Everything was neatly tucked away and the lights work great.You just earned a new customer. The team here is VERY good to work with. We have had significant work done on our cars over the years at both locations. You can take advantage of their van service with a very courtesy driver. You can also wait in a very pleasant area and have a complimentary cup of coffee. The office manager is very efficient and friendly. Most importantly, the people who work on your car do excellent work for a fair price. What more can you ask for?

Got my car inspected here. Friendliest people, cleanest bathroom, ha ha. Was a walk in, seen right away. We failed inspection, had to get new tires. Came back 2 weeks later and they didnt make me pay again to get my sticker

Awesome work. Had a timing belt/water pump put in a few years ago. Still no issues at all. Professional service at great rates. I recommend this place to anyone.I dont know what that dude is talking about a tire patch repair for a slow leak for 27 bucks saying it should be free. Honestly, Id like to know these places he says that do that repair for free cause Ive had tires patched up enough times to know you cant get that kinda work done for free anywhere.

Solid repair resource.I am not from the area and required some major service on my truck, (Timing Belt, Water Pump and ancillary items).I was referred to MAC by a colleague and Im glad I used them. My only expectation was the work be performed correctly the first time, which seems simple enough but is a tall order these days.The price was more than reasonable for the services rendered and the truck was ready when they told me it would be. I have driven the truck for a couple of days and have found no rattles, no leaks, etc., which means everything was put back the way it left the factory.I had a positive experience and will use them again if needed. I love the Nashua location - the waiting area is super clean, smells great (not like a tire store) and I have even met interesting people there while waiting. Oh - and the service is great, too. They explain everything thoroughly and are very pleasant.

I recently discovered this place and boy am I happy. I took a used car there for a pre-buyer inspection and they found some issues with the car that saved me thousands of dollars from purchasing a lemon! Since then I took another car there for some work and they were great. They are friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and their prices are reasonable. Chad and Mike really know their cars.

I have been having Mike service my 2006 Kia Sorento for about a year. It has been challenging to say the least. But, he has done a wonderful job and has been very patient and thorough. What I like best about his service is that he will not let the vehicle go if he sees that there is something wrong and potentially a safety problem. He will call and let me know what his assessment is before going ahead. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, and extremely customer service orientated. What more can you ask?

Brought one of my box trucks in for an alignment. I worried about the trucks size and weight. But they didnt hesitate and gave me a day to drop it off. They called me at **9AM** that day to say it was done! Unheard-of speed and excellent quality of work with before and after printouts of the alignment! I had a very good experience and will gladly return!

I recently relocated to Nashua and I had to get state inspection, Ken noticed I needed brakes, and Nashua different from mass works different, mechanic Mike assisted me taking my daughter to work and I waited for my car. First off I called and spoke to the owner Chad who couldnt have been more helpful. They took my truck in the next morning and gave me a ride back to work. They called shortly later to tell me what it needed and I gave them the green light. Called a little while it was done. They picked me up at work it wasnt even noon. Michael the lead mechanic came out and spoke to me directly and answered all my questions. This could not have been a better experience Id give them 6 stars if I could.

Merrimack Auto Center LLC - Nashua has been my preferred servicing location for my one owner 1998 Toyota T-100 4WD DX Truck (250K trouble free miles) that I finally sold in 2015 and my 2015 Toyota Tundra 4WD SR5 Truck that I purchased brand new in June 2015.Mike and his talented team have always steered me towards cost effective “maintaining” services and away from costly, unnecessary “repairing” services. The quality of their work is always first class and their consistent, genuine customer-centric focus differentiates them from a wide range of entirely dollar-driven competitors at factory dealership service departments, chain quick lube shops and other independent garages.My experience earlier today defines precisely why Merrimack Auto Center - Nashua is my preferred automotive service provider: a few months ago, Mike had priced out and installed a full set of new Kumho tires on my Tundra. Since then, the Kumho tires have been performing extremely well. I stopped by today to relay my observations and my appreciation to Mike. I had also intended to ask Mike if the recently installed Kumho tires that were engineered to have a maximum safe inflation setting of 51 PSI could be run at 40 PSI, since the original factory installed Bridgestone tires were supposed to be run at 30 PSI front and 33 PSI rear settings. Mike was away when I stopped by to visit, but company owner Chad Tanguay happened to be on site. Chad gladly fielded my question, readily confirmed that 40 PSI would be an appropriate setting for each of the four new tires, and simultaneously asked a nearby service technician to pull my idling Tundra into a service bay to reset each tire’s cold pressure at 40 PSI. Two minutes later, my Tundra was ready to roll! Bing, bang, boom, done! Mike and Chad understand so well how to build, cultivate and nurture a fanatically loyal customer base. I look forward to being one of those loyal customers for life!

Great place for a fair price and good work!

First, let me open with THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! ! ! I went out to start my car a couple days back and it was dead. I inadvertently left an overhead light on by mistake and didnt touch the car for the next 4 days. So, figuring the battery was dead, I tried to jump the car - nothing; no whine, no click, nothing. Kept the batteries of 2 cars connected for a good hour, hoping to juice up the dead battery, but again, no response. I called Merrimack Auto, Nashua and Mike gave me some pointers to try, hoping he could help save me $ (ie, towing, servicing, parts) My attempts failed, so I called road side assistance. He used a power pack to jump the car, but suggested I NOT shut the car off and take it in somewhere to be looked at. Well, I figured Id run out of gas before I could shift my work schedule enough to get the car anywhere. A call to Jeanne at MMK Auto/Nashua was all I needed to do. She is ALWAYS extremely accommodating, and said let me see what I can do Not 10 minutes later, she called to say the driver from the MMK site would drive to Nashua, pick up a driver there and two came to my house to pick up my car. Mike, the manager, head mechanic, and sweetest guy next to Chad ;-) called a while later and said he checked the car, stopped it, started it, shut it down and let it sit, started up again, and felt the battery had recharged. Now, I can almost guarantee that ANY other establishment would have insisted they replace the battery, but Mike noticed it wasnt all that old and would be OK going forward. I expressed some concern about can a battery really recharge itself after being so dead, and he educated me on batteries and how they work and recharge etc. Sensing my concern, Mike offered to keep it overnight, if that was ok w/me. That way the car could sit idle all night and hed test the charge level in the morning and make sure it was still holding all its power. Sure enough, when he called this morning, the car held its charge, started right up and was fine. Without even questioning, Jeanne called to ask if I would be home and if yes, she was sending two drivers over to deliver the car back to me. You would think there would be a sizable bill/service charge associated with all that effort, but true to form, MMK Auto asked only for a small, WAY more than reasonable figure for their time and effort and I cannot be any happier to write this review and point all my friends and family to either the MMK or Nashua establishments. Thank-you Merrimack Auto - youre a CLASS ACT ! ! !
