Dr. Woods and her staff are fabulous! I have had a very positive experience at this office. Dr. Woods is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the information she gave me as well as following up many times to confirm. Don’t look any further. Dr. Woods is an excellent doctor and I am so glad I found her team.
Very knowledgeable staff and very professional, I love my new ears I cant get over what Ive been missing its like Ive been walking around with cotton balls stuffed in my ears all these years I highly recommend Dr.Woods
I have been seeing Dr. Woods for over 5 years. After suddenly loosing my hearing, resulting in chronic tinnitus, I sought out help. I went to Bostons Mass Eye and Ear as well as other ENT Specialists. No one listened to me, no one explained what was happening to me and why. Finally, I met Dr. Woods and found someone who was understanding, an active listener and explained to me step by step why I now had ringing in my ears. Dr. Woods then took the time and explained a way to retake control and regain a quality of life through tinnitus retraining. I highly recommend Dr. Woods, she changed my life for the better! Not only is Dr. Woods my audiologist, she has become a friend who truly cares for her patients.
Recently, I made an appointment with Dr Woods to get my hearing tested. It took three weeks to get the appointment. After the testing I asked about different types of hearing aids as she only had a $7,000 over the ear variety to sample. I asked about in-the-ear rechargeable. She told me they didnt exist. She also told me ITC (in-the-canal) hearing aids were all older technology. I left, feeling her agenda was to only sell me the specific type of hearing aide she was pushing. She didnt really seem to care what might be right for me.Afterward, I did a little research I found a highly rated ITC rechargeable hearing aid with the very latest technology. Starkey ITC Livio Edge AI 2400. I contacted a couple local Audiologists and found prices ranging from $5,200 (New England Audiology) to $5,600 for the pair. I called Dr Woods to ask whether it was something I could purchase through her. She said I could but the pair would be $7,200. When I told her I was doing some price comparing as it was a big investment, she became rude and told me I was undermining her profession. This was my first experience with an audiologist and I have to say I was very disappointed with knowledge, care and level of service I received from Dr Woods!
Dr. Jessica Woods, Great service with outstanding results. Thanks to her I have high quality new hearing aids which are extraordinary and life changing. She takes time to analyze your hearing loss, makes sure you understand, and then creates the best solution tailored to your needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone who suffers from hearing loss problems.Thank you,John Blaikie
All good until you return them, be careful before you buy
She is very knowledgable, helpful & honest
My personal experience: I was treated with absolutely no respect or being good enough especially the person handeling the phone!when it comes to my health my SEVERE TINITIS NOT average 20%of people, its not controllable and debilitating, so because i cant afford a 9 month retraining course the decided not to send ENOUGH information to my insurance/for hearing devices leading to no treatment..or offering any possible other solutions.
Pleasent and on time.
