My visit was very friendly and informative. I was given all the information I needed to make an informed decision.
I found all the people involved in my care to be very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. They were able to explain my particular type of hearing loss in ready to understand terms and recommended a course of treatment that has worked in extremely well for me this far.
Good experience with Dr. Clark being introduced to hearing aids. Went smoothly.
Like many people getting older and in an early stage of denial, I was constantly asking my wife to repeat herself, much to her annoyance, I am sure. Additionally, I was finding it difficult to hear my twin nine-year-old grandsons, so I bit the proverbial bullet and came to the Nashua Hearing Group for, in sequence, a medical exam of my ears, a hearing test, and being fitted with corrective hearing aids. Everyone took their time and patiently explained my condition and how it could be improved. Dr. Harrington worked with me over several appointments to assure that I was happy with my product.
So very great full!! I knew that I wasnt hearing/understanding well, but had no idea how BAD it really was. Amanda was excellent in helping me understand what hearing loss/impairment was (it is the BRAIN that hears not your ears! It works too hard to make sense of the sounds and often mistakes like sounds and can interpret the wrong words heard from whats was actually said!) Knowing that really explained how I was feeling angry, frustrated and alone. Getting tested was easy and Amanda explained all of the options available, helping me choose what I would most benefit from as I have (profound hearing loss). It has been almost 5 years now and It has made a world of difference!! Less arguments with family/friends over misscommunicstions, feel more confiden/safereing out & about and have been able to go back to work.
