Using Whaley Foodservice has been a huge help at the arena. We very much appreciate the service theyve provided to us day in and day out. Specifically to Bill P. He is always on-time, responsive and so pleasant to work with. He goes above and beyond for us here and is so quick to fix anything we need.
They are the worst service company in the area. The only reason i had to use them is because they are the only ones certified to work on warranty equipment. I called them to come and replace a walk in freezer door and frame. Took 6 weeks to order it and for it to come in. It also seems like they watch you and try to come when a supervisor is not present so no one in charge can see what they are doing. It took two service hacks 7 hours to replace a door. They didnt even replace the frame but they did charge me for it. Not to mention that they left the door open with the freezer completely off which resulted in a loss of thousands of dollars of food products. Even after this the door would still ice up and not seal properly. I called and asked them to come fix their mistakes. The tech said that we need a new heater and that took a month to come in and when that came in the tech came when i was gone again. He could barely speak english which is okay but not when youre dealing with complex machinery and are in customer service. I talked to him over the phone when one of my coworkers told me he was there. He began to blame me for being cheap and not replacing the frame along with the door. I told him that your company did not replace the frame. I talked to his boss and he told me he will see what he can do. So i am out almost $6,000, have a door that wont seal, and am still getting written up on my health inspection. This whole debacle started in June 2021 and it is currently Sep 23,2021.
