The team at Childress Collision did amazing work on my car. When you can take an 05 car and remove the bumper and place a new one and it not be noticable at glance thats awesome. Mrs. Candy and the Mechanics kept me informed EVERY STEP of the way on what was taking place. I was never in the dark. It was done right and efficient. Charles quoted my repair which was a fair estimate considering what had to be done He stated it would be 4 to 5 days. Emailed updates throughout the week. On the 5th day they emailed and said my car was ready. Honestly my BMW never looked better They did an impeccable job on matching the paint and clear coat

A deer ran out in-front of me while driving on the interstate, I had just bought my car. I took it to Childress Collision Center and they fixed it amazingly and thoroughly. Unfortunately I ran into the side of my garage on Monday morning with my right mirror. Fortunately, I called Childress Collision Center and they were able to check it out immediately, get it ordered, and I had a new one on my car within 48 hours of the incident. I cant say enough wonderful things about Charles and the team at Childress Collision. When my car was side swiped I was bummed but Im glad it lead me to Childress. They are now our families go to place! Charles walked me through the estimate process and did all the work in a timely manner. I was in a hit and run accident (not at fault) and did extensive research to see which body shops in the Nashville area were the best. Childress has the highest ratings around, so I decided I would take my car to them. I have an older vehicle, a 2003, and it needed a new front bumper and an interior dash panel. My insurance had given me an estimate and was going to cover the full cost. I called Childress and they told me they were backed up for 6-8 weeks (wow!) but my car was drivable, so I figured it would be worth the wait.4 days before I was due to drop off my vehicle, I suddenly received a call from the Candy saying that they DO NOT work on vehicles OVER 10 YEARS OLD?!?! I was honestly so shocked, I had hardly any reaction while on the phone. I had this appointment set up for weeks. If this was a policy, why wasnt that stated before they scheduled me?? Im sure I mentioned the age of the vehicle when I first called, and even if I had forgotten to, if they had such a policy, why wouldnt they ask?I scoured their website, Facebook page, etc. to see if such a policy was listed. I couldnt find one anywhere. What pushed me over the edge into posting this review was that there is a review from a young woman only 5 months ago that states she received a new bumper on her 2005 vehicle. That couldnt be possible if what Candy told me was the truth. I feel I was lied to, and that the shop dropped my appointment in favor of a potentially more lucrative (ie. newer car) job. I communicated with Candy over 4 times throughout the weeks leading up to my appointment (as I was hoping to get bumped to an earlier time slot) and she was nothing but polite, however this final experience left a horrible taste in my mouth.Now, after I had set up a car rental and made plans to have my vehicle in the shop to get repaired, Im beginning my search for a shop all over again. I would not recommend this shop due to my experience and the feeling of being lied to/not worthy of providing service for. If you have an older vehicle and choose to go here, please beware that they may drop you off their list if they get more expensive cars in, as that is what it feels like happened to me.I would have loved to have experienced the amazing work this shop apparently does, however, it seems my older vehicle and insurance money aren’t valuable enough for their time.

These guys did an awesome job with my auto body work after my vehicle was side swiped. The job only took about a week and a half to two weeks to complete but it was worth the time spent looks like there was no pre existent damage. Everything matched up perfectly.

Tire tread got kicked up by a truck in front of me while I was heading south on 65. Got lucky and only lost a snap-on piece of my front bumper (valence). Childress sourced the part, painted, and installed in less than 5 days from the incident. Paint matches absolutely perfect. No up-charges on parts, their labor was honestly cheaper than what their quality shows. Id recommend this center to anyone/everyone that can get to it. Thanks again Candy and Doug. Wow! Work, service, and fair price all exceeded my expectations. I would award Childress more than 5 stars if that were possible. They deliver “old school” quality workmanship and service that is in increasing difficult to find these days. Childress Collision center did a first-class job on a scraped and scratched bumper. They came in under their already very reasonable estimate, on time, and because the item was in such bad condition, they went ahead and put on a shining new one, at no extra cost! In addition, my car was returned to me much cleaner than it was when I dropped it off for repair—with what appeared to be a polished and/or buffed body, sparkling clean wheels, and tires treated with tire black, and a cleaned interior, making the entire car look years newer. Candy, Charles, and Mr. Childress are all fantastic folks to deal with—all are first-rate professionals. As a result, the great folks at Childress have earned themselves a loyal customer. I already plan to bring them two of my other cars for repairs and painting. Being new to Nashville, I was unfamiliar with body shops in the area. I would like to start off by saying that there is no chance I would give this Childress Collision 5 stars, even though the performed decent work on my truck. I have full AAA coverage and brought my truck in with $2k worth of front-end damage (mostly bumper). I talked with the front desk gentleman and informed him I wanted my truck re-aligned, breaks checked, as well as some interior damage fixed that happened during the accident. The gentleman informed me that he (Childress Collision) would handle the situation and get back to me with an estimate.Two weeks later, I was called by Childress and informed that my truck was finished and that I could pick up my truck. After dropping off my rental and taking time off work to make it during business hours, I arrived to find my truck not completed. The bumper was fixed but Childress informed me that they did not re-align my truck fix the interior damage, or check my breaks. Instead they politely told me to call a break specialist and pointed me in the direction of some business cards on their counter.At this point I was irritated and a bearded gentleman from the back came out and informed me AAA wouldn’t approve of the repairs. I asked him why I had not received a phone call or email and he informed me that he contacted AAA and there was no need to contact me. I informed him that it was my truck, my choice to bring the truck to Childress, and that I should have been informed if work was not being done that we had already agreed to. The bearded gentleman told me that he didn’t even know if Childress had contacted me for repair information and that he had 30 clients and couldn’t keep track of contacting them all. Yes., literally told me he couldn’t be accountable for his job and inform his clients of what work was or was not being done because he was overwhelmed?I immediately called AAA and inquired and AAA informed me that they would pay for the repairs and I could leave my truck at the shop longer to get repairs. While Childress did do good work on the truck that they actually performed, I chose not to leave my truck longer and take it elsewhere. Childress online reviews are all 5 stars from what I was reading online and that is the reason I chose to go there. They definitely lack in communication and accountability.Good work put I guess this goes down as another company who lacks in professionalism. This could of been resolved and avoided by actually emailing or calling your customers.

They were nice and quick in giving an estimate of cost of body work. They were also thorough. They took photos and then sent me an email with all costs explained. The only issue I seemed to run into was that they are extremely well liked by customers in the area so the wait time for getting work done could take a couple extra weeks. They book up.

The folks at Childress were friendly, professional and easy to deal with. Communication was solid through the whole process. The repairs look pretty good. When I called to book my appointment on the front end it took 1.5 months to get on their schedule, and it took 2 weeks to complete the repair after I dropped off my car. So all in, it was a 2 month process. For that reason I wouldnt use them again but I also had a good customer experience despite the time.

I purposefully waited weeks until they had an open spot because I was nervous to take my new car anywhere but the best (I had my car for four days when I was slammed into on the interstate). And it was absolutely worth it to get my vehicle to the elite level of collision repair. It took a good amount of time - that was to be expected given the amount of damage - but they dealt with extending the rental, communicating with the insurance company, and fielding my slightly impatient inquiries, in a very professional manner. Candy at the front is a calming presence for us irritated folks who are annoyed at the entire prospect of having a fouled up car. Thanks Childress, for being the cream of the crop.

Childress Collision Center did such an incredible job. This was the first time Ive ever had a claim on my insurance, and I genuinely had no idea what I was doing. They helped me with the process every step of the way, and got my car back to me in less time than I anticipated! The work is perfect. I genuinely cannot tell that anything was fixed or replaced. Both the exterior and interior were immaculate when I picked my car up.I highly recommend them, and God forbid, should I need repairs in the future, I will definitely use them again!

LOVE this company. Ive used a few different collision centers throughout the years and you cannot beat their quality. The staff and the ownership is TOP NOTCH. I hope I dont need a collision center in the future, but if I do - I am glad I know them. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else.The last vehicle I had them repair was my SUV. My mechanic told me there is no way it can be fixed. Not only were they able to repair it, it was affordable and I couldnt tell where the damage happened.

I was referred to Childress through Carvana in Nashville, after I had been struck from behind at a red light. Childress gave me a fast estimate for cost of repair. Not only was the estimate fast but the repair was completed very shortly after I dropped the vehicle off a few days later. Childress repaired my bumper perfectly! I was 100% pleased with the end result. My vehicle’s rear end looks brand new! On top of the excellent body work completed by Childress, I was extremely pleased with the amazing customer service. Everyone was very welcoming, accommodating and patient through the process. They work great with insurance agencies and provide quality work! Childress Collision is the best! I had an accident with a dear and gave them a call. They tied my car and within week my car was ready. I picked it up and it looked beautiful! The AC unit had been replaced but after driving home I noticed that the cold air wasn’t as cold as it should be so I called them and they told me to bring it back and they would make it right. They rented me a car for the day and my car was ready 5 hours later.May I say they were professional and so very nice and if I should ever need repair work again they will be my first call!

Where do I start? This place got everything done within 2 days. They were almost $1000 less than another quote I got. Whenever I called, they knew exactly who I was. They were extremely conveniently located... I’m not sure what else you could ask for in a body shop. I’ve had many experiences with body shops over the years and this was BY FAR the best one I’ve ever dealt with. Just felt like you were doing business with family members. 10/10

An outstanding experience at this body shop today. I called about damage from a slight fender bender with my car. On the phone, they were happy to give an estimate but let me know that because they are busy they would not be able to do any work on the car for a month. Undeterred because of the reviews I read on the internet, I stopped by thinking I would use the estimate to gauge other body shops quotes. They took a few minutes to look at the scratches and determined that they were just on the surface- even buffed them out good as new right on the spot. Based on their neighborliness, their cordial and up-front phone interaction, and their clear knowledge and professionalism, I will be sure to use and recommend them in the future.

Ben and his staff at Childress were professional and equally personable. The repairs from both accidents, FLAWLESS! I will ONLY use them for any future needed work.

This place was awesome! I was the victim of a hit and run accident, and my insurance was forcing me to pay the$1000 deductable since the drivers insurance had been canceled. I was devastated, and came in to get an estimate, nearly in tears. The office manager, Candy was so nice and comforting. She and Charles did all the work with the insurance company, and the car was fixed perfectly! They even took care of a few extra scratches by the door handle. I will always go back here, despite the circumstances of the accidents. They took great care of me!

Great work and honest. Had a minor fender bender with another person. Scraped their car, did zero damage to ours. We were gonna pay out of pocket to avoid the claim. The other car owner first went to Mercedes to get estimate, which was about 2500 for a whole side of car painted. I had the owner go here to Childress for a second opinion and Childress did painless dent removal and buffed out the scratch for over 2000 LESS. Came in around 250ish. Owner was happy and obviously I was too!
