I saw a car advertised for a specific amount of money and after being allowed to test drive it was told that it would be almost an additional $4,000 than what the website advertised (this was not because of tax, but rather for β€œprep and recon”) Was very disappointed and will not be buying from there any time in the future

This service department is extremely business. It took several days longer than originally told but I do understand that they’re just busy. Communication is key. If a vehicle is promised on a certain day and it’s going to be several days later I think customers appreciate a brief call. I was told they don’t have time to do that but this just makes most customers call them so the time has to be made anyway to speak to a customer when they call in. However everyone there is friendly and I’m grateful for their help.

This five star review comes all the way from the sunshine state. I spent some time searching for the perfect car, I was seeking something specific. Little did I know it would be 1000 miles away at Nashville Nissan. I reach out thinking I wouldn’t even get the time of day, seeing as the likeliness of the sale for the seller would seem slim since I’m in Tampa. I actually experienced the exact opposite. The response and information on the car was returned immediately and the next thing you know I was flying to Nashville, TN. This is where David Michael from Nashville Nissan actually chauffeured us from the airport, treated us to breakfast, and took us to the beautifully detailed CPO I came for! The treatment made me feel like I was buying a GT-40 in cash. Something about salesman etiquette makes a remarkable difference in your comfort when purchasing a car. This guy should definitely be teaching it. Hats off to you, David Michael at Nashville Nissan: you deserve a promotion!

Terrible experience! My fiancΓ© and I were just scammed into wasting our entire afternoon by this dealership. We received a letter for a great offer for our trade in and 0% financing with 0 down. We called to confirm if the letter legitimate before making an HOUR drive to the dealership. The sales person we spoke with on the phone confirmed that the letter was legit and that it was for both new AND used vehicles. Once we arrived we mentioned the letter again to the sales person helping us and acknowledged that they knew what the letter was. We proceeded to pick out a car we wanted and were ready to purchase. At that point they offered us less than half the amount promised on the letter for our trade in and 3.99% interest instead of the 0% that was also stated on the letter. When we showed the letter stating the the trade in amount and 0% interest they continued to make every excuse to why they couldn’t uphold what the letter stated and what was told to us over the phone. In the end the most disappointing thing was that they were not willing to make it right and continued to tell us we were in the wrong.

She lies and makes up things that aren’t true and then you’re stuck with a purchase with add-ons that aren’t even accurate and you still have to pay out of pocket for service. If you do get the car here don’t add anything onto your loan once you get in the room with her she is terrible!

Before any work was actually done, the repairman referred back to the service agent to inquire with me about what I noticed with my car. He performed a thorough inspection of my vehicle and informed the service agent, Leo Rossman, of his findings. Leo then updated me on the issues, explained the importance of fixing them, the cost and labor/time involved to repair.

Went to downtown Nissan for a oil change. I called before hand and was told the service appointment closes at 7pm. When I arrived at 4:45pm the gentleman that greeted me told me that I wouldn’t be getting a oil change given the fact the last oil change walk ins/appointments stop getting taken at 4:30pm. Looking around I seen roughly 6 service reps behind the counter hanging out on their cell phones. No cars in the express lanes and no customers around. I understand they don’t want someone walking in right before closing but 4:30pm seems ridiculously early. Murfreesboro Nissan has always taken walk-ins till 6pm during the week. Great way to push business elsewhere Downtown Nissan! I will not be returning.

I bought a new truck from Downtown Nashville Nissan a year and half ago. On 7/31/21 it was in for service and the sales manager Charles called me . He said that he had seen my truck in service and that he would give me $22527 to trade mine in. He called me a week later and made me the same offer and I asked if he was sure about the offer so I went in and picked out a new truck. When he brought me the written offer it was for $20000 and they added $1200 dealer fee plus a $700 doc fee to the new truck price above sticker. This is a bait and switch scam don’t buy from this dealer!

We had THE BEST experience at Downtown Nashville Nissan! Trace was knowledgeable, friendly, and has a great personality! We came in on Memorial Day, thinking we would be there for a while due to the high volume of customers, but we were in and out rather quickly for trading and purchasing two new vehicles. While not the color I wanted when I went in he introduced a new car that I ultimately chose. I had never taken my car to a dealership before and had no idea that getting it repaired could be such a simple, painless experience. When I called on a friends recommendation, Leo told me to bring it by the next morning and he would work me in. I brought it in, they gave me a ride home, called me 3 hours later to tell me what it needed, the job was finished about three hours after that, and they gave me a ride back to the dealership. The car is running great.

Typically I only write reviews when I have had an exceptional experience. However, having two disappointing experiences with Downtown Nashville Nissan I felt compelled to share my experience. Purchased a vehicle the end of January 2021. The purchasing experience was passable although took over 4 hours excluding test drive. The problem came after when we were waiting for the tags and registration to be sent. Taking into account delays due to COVID, I expected it would take a little longer but not 3 months. And the delay was due to mishandling on the part of Downtown Nissan. After multiple follow-ups, temporary tags, misinformation, etc. the dealer overnight expressed the information to Marshall County clerk AT the end of April and the clerk had the registration and tags ready in 1 day. Since we were in a rush to get the vehicle, we took a loan at a higher percentage rate than desired. In the meantime, we got approval for a lower rate yet had to reapply since it took so long to get the registration. Fortunately, we still got the lower rate. I wanted to share my experience with Downtown Nissan and was provided the name of the woman who handled customer service. After 3 calls to her cell phone and no return calls, I finally was able to speak with a manager which also took many days. He comped us with free oil change and tire rotation. At the time of this service, I received a phone call informing me that I could trade in my newly purchased 2020 Nissan Rogue for a new 2021 Nissan Rogue for twhe same or lower car payment. I should have trusted my instinct but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to check it out. I returned the call and spoke to a manager. He assured me that we could trade in for no additional costs. I even texted him expressing my skepticism and again he confirmed that I would be able to pay off my existing loan and have equal or lower payment. So I traveled 40 miles to the dealer and lo and behold, it was all a big lie and scam just to get me in and try to convince me to make a deal that was not as promised. The saleswoman we worked with was great but the manager on duty that Sunday was rude and condescending. Clearly I learned my lesson and will never deal with Downtown Nashville Nissan again.

Buyer beware... these guys tried to add a $3800 reman fee to the listed price of a vehicle in addition to a $1700 dealer fee. For an oil change, tire rotation, and brake job. This is maybe $800 worth of work they tried to upcharge another $3000 for.Patrick Cox was the name of the salesman I spoke with and when we couldnt come to a deal he tried to rub in my face when he sold the car. He actually texted me that I missed out on a great deal and he knew they had the car priced right. When I ignored his text he felt the need to email me and tell me I totally missed a great opportunity to purchase the exact vehicle you desired.Needless to say I am ecstatic that I didnt purchase a vehicle that I was mildly interested in from these guys.Again, if you are buying a used car from Patrick, be careful because he will probably try and overcharge for you for it.Good luck

Slow and too expensive. Editing my previous review. I attempted to give the Downtown Nissan another chance. 2015 Murono quite running. Went to them and got a new battery. 2 days later car stops again. They did a diagnostic and said I needed a battery. I told them my check engine like was on and couldnt they check my alternator or fuel injection. Left my car because of a death in my family. Checked back a week later, Renee said they would run a diagnostic. 2 weeks later they had not attempted to check my alternator. Then said it was my transmission which was going to cost $6700 my car only had 46,000 miles. I told them once again to check alternator. There service advisor told me that they had individuals who went to school for what they do. I told him well evidently they were checking for the wrong thing. Long story short had my vehicle towed away from them. Asked the other company to drive my vehicle. 2 days later the car stop again. They ran a diagnostic on the alternator found that I needed a new one. DOWNTOWN Nashville Nissan was attempting to beat me out of almost $5000. Its sad only paid for and alternator replacement. I warn everyone to stay away from Downtown Nissan in Metro Center. Then they had an nasty attitude because I wanted to pick my vehicle up. Plus I was charged a towing charge of $110 and then 160 for a diagnostic. Its sad that people want to beat you. I wouldnt buy or take a vehicle to them at all. They are running scams

My honest opinion on this location now that I’ve had time to look over my purchase and make some calls that I was not able to make is that they got over and they wasted a lot of my time. My sales person Des was great. She’s relatable, down to earth however, the process of me waiting 5 hours with 2 kids was unreal. I originally reached out to Murfreesboro Nissan and they wanted to see what deal I got, well they let me know the car price was to high in the first place and gave me a different quote but told me it was to late now, they got you. Which I already knew they did but after 5 hours, I was done fighting and had no more time to give. The right phone calls were not made on my behalf. I was told I couldn’t use my preapproval with one bank that I had a lower interest rate for but when they β€œmy pre approved loan account” finally called me back they told me how that process should have went and that my approval would have went through had they called with the authorization number. They said they would have just removed the car I had on file to the one I was trying to buy, but no one even started that process with them. Had I went with my gut, I should have waited to buy a car but Carmax put me in a bind which led me to here.

I had accidentally made an appointment with Action Nissan and showed up at Downtown Nissan not realizing my mistake. However, Im happy to have made this mistake. Ive always felt that all my years living in South Nashville that Franklin Nissan had the better customer service but boy was I wrong. I recently had a great experience with the service department. I went in Wednesday with a few issues with my maxima. By early Wednesday afternoon I had a phone call detailing all they were doing and set up a loaner for me without me even having to ask. I was given a timeline for the work to be completed and they held to their word. Just got it back this evening and everything is back to perfect condition. This was my first experience at this dealership. I recently moved to this side of town and have to say I’ll be back to this dealership for all my service needs. I’m blown away.
