I bought a battery last year on the 21st or so in February. That battery wouldnt turn my car over when the cold weather came. It did fine as long as it was warm outside. So I decided to unhook the battery after charging it up to see if something was draining it or of the weather itself was the culprit. The next morning, sure enough the battery was to low to turn my car over. Of course it was still under warranty so I decided to charge it so that I could drive down and replace it. Of course o called first and made sure that actually had a replacement. After getting there I was confronted by a very arrogant worker. He argued me that there was nothing wrong with the battery. I tried to explain to him that I charged the battery so that I coils drive there, but its not turning my engine over in the mornings. Id have to boost it off. He than told me it was something wrong with my car. The battery was taken out of my car to check that I tried to explain, but he of course know everything about my car and actions. So the then told me he want going to replace it. He couldnt replace a good battery. Wth? I began to get upset at that time, but not belligerent. After refusing to buy another, go, or bend to him, he finally got me another battery and replaced mine. Guess what? The cars just fine now and on the coldest days its starting. I will not be going back to them if its so hard for them to honor their product and warranties...
This auto parts place was great. The technician, Andy, was very compassionate to me. He was knowledgeable and explained every step as he was installing my new battery. He even showed me how to pop the hood correctly. God bless you, Andy. Ladies, if you are having auto problems go see Andy. You know you are a getting an honest opinion.
Didnt have anything I needed long lines and wait times just to find out they didnt have it. Went to oreillys on craighead st. Had everything in stock took 5mins in and out
Stopped by to get wiper blades for my car. They went out and replaced them for me. I appreciated that
Needed help with a check engine light. Waited for 15 minutes while the employees fiddled around inside and at the back of the store without providing any help. Not another customer in the store. Terrible service.

Needed a battery test with parasitic drain measurement and I was in luck! A few short minutes later they helped confirm the battery was indeed dead (after another auto parts store brand tested it as good), checked the standing draw to be 3-5miliamp.Thanks for the service and access to the right tools!

My car decided to stall out on me Sunday. and after waiting for an hour without getting anyone to jump my car off i had finally walked here to at least get some jumper cables (since no one had any). It was after 7 and the store was closing but i was able to get in and get some cables the cashiers christy i believe her name was greeted me and asked me how my day was.....i was like ive had better days she asked whats wrong and i explained she was like ill send one of my drivers over to boost you off. And withing 3 mins a man came from the store and got me running. The customers service was at a all time high and i appreciate the help i recieved.

Multiple visits and very disappointed each time. Rarely a smile from an employee. Cant use gift cards on line and would not take the 20% discount in store. Ill just head down the road to Napa or Autozone.

The guys are friendly and helpful... they’ve got a good stock in store and can order stuff if they don’t have it on hand (but the probably do). I like going there when I need something in a pinch. It’s generally about 1.5-2x the cost of amazon though, so you need to be ok with paying for the convenience ;)
Richard is the man!!!! I dont think that place would run without him! Extremely knowledgeable with vehicles, and it doesnt matter what type whether its Mercedes BMW Porsche you name it and he knows whats going on with them! Hes an asset to Advance and in my opinion you should give him a raise to keep him there...

I ordered tail lights for my 2014 GMC three weeks ago from the Charlotte Pike store and paid for them and still have not received a call to pick them up?? Gone twice to pickup them up and there the wrong ones......come on guys!!
The store is decent. Only gripe is they need to update there hours on here. They close at 8pm not 9 like it shows. So I arrived at 805 and doors locked and closed.
Stopped in to get new bulbs for my headlights. The guy at the counter was very nice. He came out in the rain and installed both lights for me!

I broke down on the way to client, my idler pulley and serpentine belt came off, they had both, I went in and bought a ratchet set, and it didnt fit the idler pulley, they loaned me a socket I was back on the road within 30 40 minutes, truly 5 star service!
