I took my truck to Firestone and they kept it for two days and said they couldnt fix it. I Google these guys and drove straight over. They had it fixed the same day! Great service! Great price! I wouldnt hesitate to use them again anytime! Highly recommended!

John is singlehandedly the best in the game. Been taking care of my car for years now! He’s not one of those guys to try and pull one over on you. He’s very honest and direct about what the problem is. They try their hardest not to change the price after they’ve quoted it to you. I will literally fall apart whenever he retires lol. 10/10

Fantastic service!! Called because my car wouldn’t start. They recommended a towing service (Always Towing, also great, he arrived within 15 minutes of answering my phone call) and were able to take a look immediately. Turns out my battery was bad and the wrong one for my car. I’ve also been having problems with gas pumps shutting off when refueling and asked them to take a look. They replaced my battery and suggested we give it a try a drive it a bit before diving further (and spending money) on the problem with the fuel system. Turns out getting the correct battery also fixed the fuel system!! So thankful for their quick, accurate work and their honest problem solving! Great communication, sincere and helpful! We’ve been searching for a local mechanic because we’ve had tons of difficulty with the chain shops lately and Automotive Solutions will be our new car care home!

Myself and my two sisters came in on short notice for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. While they weren’t able to do a complete service check due to how busy they were, Steve was able to run a diagnostic test and look around and inside the car. He throughly explained aspects of the car that we were unsure of, and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure he explained everything adequately! His kindness, patience, and professionalism did not go unnoticed! After he had spent 30 minutes just discussing the vehicle with us, he said it was at no charge to us! I have no hesitation to recommend this place. These guys (especially Steve) are the absolute best!

Stopped by on our cross country trip with some AC issues. Didnt get the name of the gentleman who helped us, but he took a few minutes to take a look, let us know the issue, educate us, etc. It wasnt a problem that could be fixed overnight, but he told us how to keep the AC going when the issue arises. Only took 5 minutes, but it made all the difference in the world for us!

Dont read the review below - thats complete crap. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME! Im a girl in her mid-twenties, so auto shops are definitely not my favorite place to be. Not only am I not interested in cars, but its never fun to go get your car fixed without a guy on hand. My boyfriend couldnt make it into the shop today with me, but because of the excellent customer service I received, I would never hesitate to go back alone again.Steve and the other two guys working immediately got to work on giving me a free break inspection, showed me how break pads/rotors worked, and gave me the estimate without pressuring me into buying new pads and rotors (which I knew I needed beforehand). They gave me an extremely fair quote and a college student discount! In under 30 minutes, my car had new break pads and rotors, and I was back on the road. They even gave me advice on what spark plugs my boyfriend should use on my car, what car we should buy next, and answered every question I had in a friendly manner.These guys are awesome! If you want an honest/fair-priced auto shop with great customer service, go to Automotive Solutions! (A little hard to find, but definitely worth it!)

I was visiting Nashville from out of town and had a piece of sheet metal hanging down from under my car. I called ahead of time and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Very friendly and professional. I took my car in and they fixed it for a great price. I was in and out within a few minutes and they were very good at explaining what happened. Ive been going to this mechanic for 10 years. They are so incredible.

Steve and John went above and beyond to get me back on the road. I was given an upfront estimate, explained in detail what would be done, and contacted multiple times concerning progress. The price was very reasonable and the work was competed quickly. These guys will get my repeat business.

They did an inspection for me before I bought a used car through Craigslist. AMAZING JOB!! They let me and the seller both be present during the inspection, which really helped everyone to really understand where the car was at and therefore helped negotiation. They fixed up everything incredibly well and super fast!! Very impressed and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their car!

I took my car in on a Wednesday afternoon, with them scheduled to look at it the day after, on Thursday. A few hours later I received a call that they had already diagnosed the problem, had the needed part ordered, and would likely have it ready early the next day. They did have it ready the next day, as promised, with everything fixed, for a very responsible price. It overall was a fantastic experience and would recommend them to anyone needing work done on their car.

I cannot say enough good things about this business. I needed a new engine in my Subaru and couldnt get a call back from any of the other engine repair/replacement places in Nashville (except the dealer who wanted to charge me double). I contacted Automotive Solutions via email and Steve, the owner, emailed a reply back within 24 hours outlining my options with specific costs and his recommendations. The work was completed a couple of days ahead of schedule and the car runs like new. His team is salaried, not commission like most mechanics, so there is not up-selling to deal with. I highly recommend Automotive Solutions!

I have been to these guys a few time and they really are the best mechanics in the Nashville area. I have an older truck so its needed a lot of maintenance over the years and ive been to a lot of places that just tried to rip me off. These guys are very honest and reasonable. They are the only mechanics I will go to.

Although I work at a BMW dealership, my Chevrolet was having an overheating problem and the Service Writers and techs here recommended A.S. They were right. My car was repaired QUICKLY, at a FAIR PRICE and they asked me back for a follow up to make sure the repair was correct.I felt they did a great job!!

I took my car in on Friday to get an oil change and to get my brakes taken care of. They called to make sure I was okay with the price before they did anything and had everything done within 5 hours, which was perfectly fine because I told them I just needed to have it back by the end of the day. I only live a mile away so I just walked there to pick up my car. When I got there, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet. Thankfully, they offered to drive me back to get it. Im sure they dont make a habit of doing this, but I thought I would share the story so that others can know what kind of people work at Automotive Solutions. So far the repairs they did seem to have fixed the issues I was having.

Tried to charge me double for amou.t of work I got done at a competing business. On the other hand once I decided to have someone else do the work, they would not accept payment for having looked the car over and made me a detailed list of parts and labor required.

If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would. These people are extremely helpful and good, friendly people. I have a salvaged title, and while many auto dealers wouldnt touch my car, Automotive Solutions got me in same-day and fixed the problem within a couple hours. Because of the salvaged title, Ive been having reoccurring headlight issues. After continuing to have issues, I called them at noon and they had everything fixed and ready to go by 3:00pm. Theyve done everything they could to fix my headlights without having to replace the whole thing, not charging me a single time. Ive had my brakes replaced with them, too, and they do quality work, while still staying affordable. Ive seriously recommended them to all of my friends. Im a young, single female thats new to Nashville (and my father is a mechanic), and I usually error on the side of caution when dealing with auto-related things, and Ive always felt as if theyve been very honest and forward with me.

Had work I needed to get done on my car that was covered by my insurance so youd figure that it would of been done correctly right? When I pick up my car the ABS, Traction control, and Tire pressue light were all on. On top of that my alignment that was supposed to be done wasnt done at all or not very good. I needed to replace the rear tires on it after just having them replaced. Didnt tell me about the big dent in my trans case either. had to take it to the dealership to have them run test on the lights and THEY told me about my trans. Its on you if you want to use these guys but I for one will not be using them again

Very awesome help here. Had an evap code on my 01 silverado and called to see if it could be narrowed down before buying parts and guessing what the problem was. John (I think) hooked it up to the computer and he was able to figure out the problem. I went and bought the part and installed it myself cuz it was an easy fix and sure enough the check engine light hasnt come on since and I was able to pass emissions! He didnt want to charge me anything but I had to give him something for his time. I will definitely use this place for all future car issues
