My car, a 1969 Datsun Roadster, was sitting in my garage for twenty years or so. Tires were flat and the brakes stuck. Car has potential but needs a lot of work. I called Doug at Crawford Z-Cars and he welcomed the challenge. He was always keeping me on top of the repairs, telling me the cost estimates, time frame and only did things that were really needed. He watched my wallet and got things done as he predicted on time and at cost and always with a great manner. Nice, funny guy. Could not ask for more! Would recommend this place to any Datsun owner or most likely any car owner!

Reasonable. Not to friendly. My issue was that my air would blow cold a few days & stop. Was told my wiring was good, compressor was good & my air was blowing good. Nothing wrong. Made me feel incompetent. It stopped blowing cold as it does 3 days later. The mechanic wasnt there, possibly diff outcome had I spoke with one of them.

Doug and the team are awesome. We have been using them for years. Many of my friends and team members use them as well

Doug knows his way around a Toyota that’s for sure... he saved my cars life twice after others were quite frankly baffled. Straightforward establishment, highly skilled labor; Can’t ask for more in a world of snake oil and swindlers.

Went there for an oil change and headlights work. Was done quickly and at a reasonable price. The owner is friendly and knows his stuff.

I had just driven into town from three hours away and picked my sister up from the airport for a few days in Nashville to celebrate her birthday. I had noticed a rattling toward the latter part of my drive which mounted to an awful sound similar to playing cards on the spokes of your bike that had me thinking my entire bottom carriage was about to fall out onto the road. After deciding we needed to get to a mechanic ASAP, God placed us in the perfect location where Crawford was just around the corner. They graciously made time to look at it and within about 30 minutes let me know the heat shield had simply come off. They replaced it with extra large bolts so that it shouldnt happen again. They were friendly and attentive when they certainly didnt have to be. They were the heroes of the birthday trip, thanks Crawford Z!

Hands down the best place to take a vintage car. They did a complete overhaul on my Datsun and did an incredible job. I cant recommend them more. There are only 4 places in the country that I would let work on my Zs and Crawford Z Car Services is at the top of the list. Thank you all for all the work you did! The Z is still running strong!

My engine took in some water from a recent storm. The dealership and insurance company told me that the car was totaled. I didnt believe them and took my car to Crawford Z Car Shop. They fixed my car within a day and the cost was only $479 out the door. These guys are fantastic!! I am very grateful for their skills and their integrity! The car is running great!

No one better. No one more honest. No one takes the time out for you on a personal interest basis like this place. And Im talking about the owner himself here whom took time out for me, personally. Even called me back when he didnt even offer a service anymore (super tuning 350zs with a chip) to tell me where to go and how to go about it. And again for another miscellaneous question about paint, which has nothing to do with this top notch, unbeatable, unbelievable, over achieving shop, that offers something more others do not... Courtesy with attention and prices that are far more than reasonable, when compared to any other shops, considering theirselves specialists.If your one to take care of your car. Any car. Whether you have a German (BMW, Mercedes, Porsche), an Asian (Lexus/Toyota, Infinity/Nissan, [especially a Nissan Z hes magic], or a Honda Ricer, etc.) Mr. Crawford and his facility at Crawford Z Car Services, is a No-Brainer. Yea, hell even work on your Ford/Lincoln, Chevy/Caddy, and if you were dumb enough to buy one... your hunk-a-junk Chrysler/Dodge. Yes Kia and Hyundai! Yes your silly Landrover, too! And yes he will even make your Lotus, Ferrari or Lamborghini run as good as the day you purchased them. Side note, if you want them running even better. Hell do that too. For he and his crew are not just mechanics. They, He.. Mr. Crawford are, Mechanical Engineers... NO, he doesnt cost more for his knowledge. Not for regular maintenance work done on your pride and joy. Now any fast-goody extras, you might ask for.. While yes, of course. You get what you pay for here, an unexpectedly more. Other than that, expect to pay half or less than, that you would at any dealership of your make and model. Where the dealership definitely, (not maybe) are gonna gouge you. But then again, Im sure they will give you a smile too afterwards. Eh, then again... Atleast until you hand them your keys.Choices are amazing how well they effect us when we choose correctly. Crawford Z Car Services, is a choice. But it shouldnt be.This review is given by my own two cents. So, please. Please! Feel free to take or leave this. If you choose not too. Not Yen) For their Special Blend Oil change. And I kid you not, It was on a small 3 Series BMW.. A friggin 3!) OH YEA... Its a blend of Special all right. Special rip off. (Only an Oil & Filter change service was done. So ya know) Oh, and their 5 million point service, of looking around for something else to charge you for. I guess there was that. Thats some-nu-thing, right?

They are not only experts but also passionate drivers and car owners. Its great to have such a knowledgeable and dependable garage, and I highly recommend them for Nissan and Toyota owners who love their cars and expect good work for a fair price. Ive been going to Crawford for 9 years. My 05 Nissan Frontier has had Catalytic Converter problems for all of those years. Ive now had 4 Sets of cats put on my truck replaced by Crawford. That doesnt ever seem to fix the issue at hand. They never look into the deeper problems that cause the issue and just do the minimal to get by. I had handled the situation with them directly every time and get nothing but rude and suggestive comments that I am the problem for the issue. They blame their customers and are highly annoyed at your presence. They are so against resolving the deeper issue with my truck that they have now intentionally leave parts off my invoice so they dont have to claim and stand behind the products 3 year warranty and wash their hands of me. Upon discussion of this matter I get yelled at and told to get lost and that they dont want to work on my truck. What kinda of place of business doesnt stand behind their work ??? What place of business yells at their customers and tells them to get lost?? Its clear they do not like what they do or their customers and need to retire.Bottom line, I have tons of time and experience with Doug (the owner) at Crawford Z Motors. He is one of the rudest and uncaring business owners I have experienced and would tell everyone to steer clear of getting tangled in his messy web!!!

If you are looking for routine service on a stock Datsun, this place would be okay to go to. I paid a lot of money to have a set of triples installed, and the end result was something I could have done in a couple hours, and ended up spending a half hour in the parking lot just tuning the thing myself so it would run. He uses used parts and will cobble stuff together based on whats available. All in all mediocre shop at best that happens to market to Zs

I have had quite a bit of work done on my 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo at Crawford Z. They are they best place to go, period. They always go above and beyond to get the job done the right way. Ive been a customer since 1987! They work exclusively on my 1971 Datsun 240Z and on all of our other Nissans over the years (we currently own three). These guys know Nissans better than anyone around as they are Nissan specialists with over 30 years of experience. They can do anything from a basic oil change to a full mechanical restoration, and are one of probably only a few places left that can really fix the older model Z cars.They always take care of the problem and in all the years of doing business with them, I dont think Ive ever had to go back after any of their work because they do it right the first time. And they always let you know what they recommend after inspection and diagnosis of your car before they spend your money.

My catalytic converter decided to stop working on my 2010 Altima. They took old reliable in and fixed her right up. Also plugged a tire for me. Explained every thing to me and how many miles I would need before the new catalytic converter would be ready for emissions testing. They charged a great rate and would recommend to a friend and will take my car back next time I need a repair.
