🤔First warning sign for me was when I got no response to good morning to what would be the front office manager. I proceeded to the office area right behind her and once she reviewed the call in request from my son-in-law who recommended this location she changed her song and dance with an inquiry of the shocking price required by the dealer to change a water pump. She went onto share information about a previous customer who sounded like he was crying at the amount FIZIT was charging when compared to his experience of an absorbent amount he could have been charged. 😁👍Once she keyed in the service request and gave me their price to service the 2014 Chevrolet Captiva $433.00 I gave her the key and politely departed. Less than 24 hours later she calls me to inform me that due to an error (this never happens) that a shop mechanic whom researched the required time to do the service noticed the time required was an hour or more to do this service meant the cost would be increased significantly. The final bill was $594.& some change.🤔Reluctantly, I authorized them to perform the service as this vehicle belongs to my wife and did not want to incur any discrepancies based on their seemingly contrite attitude toward me for whatever precepts.Once I arrived to pick up the Captiva she was curt, arrogant when asked did they install a thermostat? She proceeded to tap away at the invoice and at that moment I realized they hadnt installed any thermostat because they expend no services beyond the customers service request!🤔 I immediately had my daughter pay her and I departed their office without incidents.👍😁The inspection I performed seems to indicate they did on fact install a water pump but a twenty dollar part as part of the cooling and heating system would fall to the default of the customers request to authorize such additional service.🤔I could care less about the cost if I am going to be given a five star service. I started the car and immediately noticed an unfamiliar sound akin to a whole in the muffler or some childs muffler system. Then there was the similar sound of the water pump scraping metal as they should have noticed once the engine was started following their service.🤙Oh well, I would not have even taken this venue had it not been for my son whom genuinely thought these guys should be considered. I mean chances are he will give them business in the future based on his cladentined network of other business owners.OH WELL. There is no proof of a warranty on their work as the bill should suggest and she failed to mention as such to me or my daughter. I shudder at having to refer back to them for any future service request.None the less thank you for confirming what was deduced from the unresponsive good morning.The reviews of rave for this company is of little significance when one feels they are equally subject to the judgement of undesirable customers. I dont know how to assess it any clearer.The thing about poor judgement is you never know where the real money is coming from, no worries.Thank you all for your time and service.Mr. Marcus Eason🤔✌UPDATE: My above lament was addressed and justified by someone that sounded genuine and wrote a check for charges exceeding the original pre-quoted price. Fitz replaced the VVT solenoid for my 2015 Civic. They are professional, charged the reasonable price and finished the job in the timely manner. I will always come to Fitz if my car has any problem.

They are very friendly and will always work you in, have never had to wait more than a day to get it back. Very reasonable on their prices and they will call and check with you before they fix something extra on in unlike some other places that surprise you when you get the bill. The service here was beyond my expectations. Kristy was really nice and Ronnie was gracious enough to give me a ride home as I had no other transportation. I had to have a new fuel pump installed. The work was done in a timely manner and at a better price than I could have imagined. This place surprised me as it looked really busy but made my repair a priority. They made my day. Thanks to all involved for doing a great job!

They do a excellent job on your vehicle

My car broke down on vacation. They fixed it within 2 hours and had me back on the road. The problem was a bad ignition coil on a Chrysler Pacifica

I was in need of my can being fixed in 3 days. Not only did they say yes, they could do it, they got it done a day early. That should be a good enough review right there, but theres more. They did it under what they gave me an estimate for! Very honest and trustworthy. Did a great job.

I went in to get my alternator replaced. Since its easy to reach on my car the mechanic was able to do it without having to wait for a garage spot to open up. Theyre polite and ready to assist.

UPDATE REVIEW!!!!!! When in business it goes without saying that mistakes will happen. There was a slight issue with my repair and the car broke down in St Louis. The guys at Fitz it gave me no headache on warranty their work even though I could not bring it back to them. When I went to pick my car up from the shop in St Louis they had already paid they agreed the agreed without having to fight or argue or threatened to take to court. As I said in business its to be expected mistakes will be made. But what sets apart a good business from a shity one is how they handle those mistakes. I highly recommend Fitz it Auto!!!!!Being from out of town when you have car trouble is very hard to find honest mechanics. I came here with a bearing on my axle that had gone bad. these guys could have easily overcharged me and replace the entire axle which was not necessary but was pretty much what we thought was going to happen when I left the store. They were able to find the bearing only and did it for less and they had quoted me for the parts only originally. I. Highly recommend these guys, and I wish I lived in the area so that I could use them more.

I took my Mercedes E-class to Fitz after a dealership sold me a lemon. They were so kind and helped me properly diagnose and repair the balance shaft, motor mount, front suspension, and water pump. Their knowledge of import cars is incredible. They were able to repair my car quickly and affordably. I wouldnt go anywhere else in Nashville. These guys have earned my business forever.

Ive been taking my truck to Ronnie at Fitz It for years and will never use another mechanic. They know what theyre doing and they are more than fair. Nice to have that solid relationship with someone that can pretty much do anything for your automobile. Hes swapped an engine for me, rebuilt my transmission, and all the services in between. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, I Took my 2010 town and country for a catalytic converter replacement(I BROUGHT THE NEW CONVERTER)10 days later,i picked up the van and 29 miles later,with WORST mileage (From 19.7 to11.2), the idiot light ( check engine light)CAME ON!!!I called them and brought it back. RONNIE (OWNER)CONNECTED IT TO HIS COMPUTER, CATALYTIC CONVERTER POPPED UP!!!! Which tell me THAT IT WAS NEVER CHANGE OUT!!!! Then RONNY (OWNER)tells me that Ill RECEIVE a phone in couple of days .That was over a MONTH AGO!! OF COURSE, NO ONES GOING TO CALL! THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE AND SO IS RONNIE(OWNER)FOR RIPPING ME OFF!! Like I said RUN FOR YOUR LIFE !!!

We dropped out car off here while on a road trip (we where in town briefly from Austin, TX) They where extremely kind and helpful to us, and got our repair done in one day. Couldnt have been more happy with the outcome. Since we planned on staying in Nashville for the day I only had to rent a car for one day...thank God!!The repair ended up being a new timing belt and water pump, along with a bad cog that drove the belt. Ended up paying about $750, which seems about right, but they also did some extra poking around with my permission to make sure nothing else was wrong.

In perfect bad auto shop fashion, I was originally told my car would be finished worst case scenario, Friday morning. Was told this both Wednesday and Thursday. Friday morning I was then downgraded to hopefully this weekend but Ill call you this afternoon or on Saturday. No call. No response at the shop. Will not be returning.EDIT: called this Monday morning, was told hopefully by the end of the day. I have 0 faith that this is true.EDIT: Its now Thursday, 9 days later and 6 days after their worst case scenario finish date and they wont call me back.
