Needed a stair runner for my dog who is getting older. Slippery (non-covered) stairs were causing him back pain and I was tired of carrying him down the stairs. Carpet ladies is a woman owned business who gave me the custom stair runner of my dreams! I wanted a colorful, fun, animal print carpet and Kathi brought me many samples to look over. She gave me advice on the practicality of each sample (how long the carpet would hold up), and, when asked, gave me her opinion on which print she thought would go best in my space. I was out of town when the stair runner was installed and I trusted Kathi & her team to do great work and they did. I love my custom stair runner!

Kathy is the worst. Do not use this company. If installation was not bad enough now Kathy is lying about my son being a first time buyer. Kathy own up to all the mistakes .Save yourself from making a mistake, use someone else.Kathy this is Jason and Emily’s mom. Again the lies continue. We met last week.People do not use these people. Everyone makes mistakes. It just really bad when they are followed up with lies and not owning up to their mistakes

Buyer beware. What started out as a good process with Kathy, the unprofessional work of her crew and unfortunate distasteful responses by Kathy when trying to resolve issues led to a negative experience. Save your time, money, and frustration by finding another company in the area.

Please work with another company, installation was a very poor experience. Initially working with Kathy was positive, but installation crew who spent over an hour fighting in the street (literally yelling and arguing), cutting the carpet too short in several areas leaving the tack strip exposed and messy work with staples everywhere was extremely poor. The hardest part of this experience was that Kathy was simply unwilling to acknowledge that these were issues and unprofessional.We hired Kathy’s carpet company for a new home carpet installation mid June 2021. Again initially, Kathy communicated well and was helpful to order carpet quickly while working under a short timeline. Kathy did assure us that the timeline was achievable and that she completed jobs regularly in less than a few weeks.Installation is really where things went south. Her crew arrived about 8:30 am and soon after spent over an hour fighting in our front yard while our carpet was left unrolled in the street. Not a great first impression for our neighbors. We also had a moving company moving furniture from our previous home the same day as carpet installation (again, something Kathy assured us was okay) meaning installation needed to work as quickly as possible.Unfortunately because of the street fight, our moving company was delayed nearly two hours costing us more than $1000 in extra and unnecessary expense.In addition, the carpet was cut too short in many places leaving the tack board exposed and unsafe (we have a 1 year old) so unacceptable. We also paid extra for the stairs to be “Hollywood” styled and have the lip of each stair stapled. This was very sloppily done and had to have them come back to re-do following stair by stair as Kathy was not able to see the missed areas (despite being present at both installation and re-visit).Because of the street fight for over an hour, we asked that Kathy reduce our payment by a few hundred dollars to acknowledge the extra $1500 we had to pay because of her crews unprofessionalism. Kathy was unwilling to compromise in anyway or acknowledge her hires had crossed the line and cost us nearly three hours in additional moving cost time.Simply put, use another carpet company. The carpet installation was less than satisfactory and the owner was unable to see the professionalism costing the homeowners stress, money and time. Don’t hire.**Edited for Carpet Ladies response.I have added a screenshot of text messages reflecting Kathy’s knowledge of movers and carpet installation on the same day prior to actual installation (she is lying). Installation was set for Friday, July 2 and the message chain was from Monday, June 28. Kathy was in approval that we could get it done same day. We were very much hoping we could have scheduled carpet installation for an earlier day but Kathy was not able to accommodate. Again, we knew timing would be tight. The frustrating part is that her crew wasted two hours of that time yelling at one another in the street.Although we are younger homeowners, this is our fifth home purchase. I wonder if Kathy was expecting novice homebuyers with little experience in hiring contractors looking to take advantage of us? Instead she found that we were quite experienced and was very angry that we asked her to acknowledge her teams unprofessional.It seems unnecessary to justify our financial standing in a Google Review, so I’ll end with this. Regardless of someone’s wealth (or home buying experience), we all deserve quality workmanship, professionalism, and fair customer service. We did not receive this from Carpet Ladies and would not hire.

I recently had the flooring in my condo updated with LVP and new carpet put down in the bedrooms. It was delightful working with Kathy. She helped me stay within my budget and still get all the options I wanted. It was a lovely experience all around. I inserted a snapshot of the flooring.

I am so happy with the work that Kathy and her crews completed! Her Brazilian carpenters did excellent and beautiful hardwood installation. I cant wait to finish the rest of the wood floors in the house. The carpet crews did a great job as well! They clean up afterwords and are very respectful. Kathy is super to work with. She has wonderful ideas and is so helpful in the decision process and stays with you until the job is complete. I highly recommend using Kathy! Shes friendly, energetic, and works so hard for her clients.

Carpet Ladies was very prompt with coming out to give a carpet estimate for my house. Not only did they provide ample samples of quality carpet selections, they were great with providing recommendations based on our new wall colors and furniture pieces. The quote was excellent and the turn around time from order to delivery/installation was very quick. The installer was extremely professional and was in and out within the hour. We absolutely love our new carpet and will definitely use Carpet Ladies next time if we decide to add more carpet around the house!

I absolutely LOVE my hardwood refinishing job they did. Moving to East Nashville you never know what conditions you’re going to get when it comes to older houses, and my hardwood floors were pretty banged up. They now look marvelous, scratch free/smooth and the grain details really pop! They even filled a few gaps in the wood that now look seamless! Highly recommend!

Worked with Kathy to purchase carpet for our third floor bonus room. She was able to find us a high quality carpet within our budget. The original carpet we picked out was out of our range but she was able to find an exact match at a quality grade, excellent padding and we are very pleased with the end result. Installation went very well and Kathy was actively involved in the entire project. She treated our home like it was her own. I highly recommend the Carpet Ladies for your next project.

Wow, what great service. In less than a week I was able to choose, order, and have my beautiful carpeting installed with a standard 8 grade pad. Cathy had many samples to choose from which made the process super easy. She thought outside the box to meet the purpose of each room. Love that. Also, super great prices on her flooring/carpeting. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. She even did a follow-up visit to my home just to make sure all was well.

Kathy is a seasoned professional who owns the company and personally guarantees quality product and a great install. You wont be dealing with a salesperson who has no idea what her install crew is up to. Kathy stays involved and assures a great job. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful experience working with Kathy. She was very professional, knew what would work best for our home, and was very competitively priced. We had berber carpet installed and were very happy with the job. After 18 months the carpet needed to be stretched. I usually wont give reviews but Kathy deserves a very good one. She was friendly, professional and great to work with.Her floor guy Jerry was a pro and took a lot of pride in his work. They did my upstairs master and hallway. along with my main staircase in hardwood and it looks great, especially the stairs. Plan to have them come back and finish the rest of the house. I would highly recommend them. Pricing was very competitive.

The cost and service beat out other vendors we had come to our home for an estimate as well. The installers were professional, quick and helpful.
