Got my Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Nitrox certification with Ohana. Also picked up the majority of my gear from them. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff.I took the courses with safety being a key priority. I was a bit intimidated when I first started. Never thought I could become a diver. I even had a scare during my Open Water cert but Ryan quickly took control and ensured my safety.Recently dove with Sarah to finish my Advanced. I was very happy that she not only helped me finish my certification, but also took the time to help me practice some skills I felt needed some work.These instructors are there for you to answer any questions you have, recommend dive sites, gear, other certifications etc.The only thing I didn’t care for much is not having in class training. I had to read the “Open Water” Book first and then do my training dives. This is actually pretty standard. I have “ADD” and do better in a classroom environment.Thanks

Recently took my advance open water class with this company. my work schedule is pretty busy but the staff was very helpful and worked around my schedule. sarah rich was my instructor and she was incredible. she made sure I knew exactly what was expected and helped me accomplish it. highly recommend this store for any of your scuba needs. I cannot say enough great things about Ohana Dive Co and all of the staff. My husband wanted me to get certified for a trip, so I tried.... and then tried to give up. Sarah was super patient with me and helped me get over all of my fears. I am now hooked and loving all of it. If you havent tried diving, you are missing out on so much!

My wife, adult daughters and I got our open water cert through Ohana Dive Co. I cant recommend them highly enough. Ryan is a complete professional, very thorough, focused on safety, and really fun to be around. He put my daughters completely at ease with an informal but professional style. He provided all our equipment which was in top shape and taught the course using building blocks that were expanded upon as we moved from a pool to the open water sections of the course. Highly recommend. I was certified decades ago but went through the complete course as a refresher. Very worthwhile.

My daughter, 8 years old, just completed her Bubblemakers Certification with Sara, and we could not be happier with the instruction she received. Sara was professional, yet made the class fun for the kids. My daughter keeps asking when her next class is. We will definitely continue the certification journey with Ohana and Sara.

Me and my fiancé went down to vortex springs for a dive with Ryan as her instructor and I am absolutely pleased with the way he constructed the training. Very patient and super fun to work with. The group at Ohana was absolutely amazing!! From the day we attended discover scuba to the day we completed our open water certification was a fun and rewarding experience. The instructors were both knowledgeable and fun to work with. I have to give a special thank you to Sarah, she made me feel more comfortable and confident with the skills I was apprehensive about. Completed my open water certification with Ohana. I was extremely anxious and wanted to control the process. The dive team were very professional! They made sure I understood the needed skills for diving. Safety is a very important skill they make sure all new and experienced divers conduct while diving. One phone call with Ryan (the owner) and I was impressed. One visit to the store, where I met two of his equally amazing Divemasters (Sarah and Jason), and I was ready. I was searching for ANY dive shop north of town, and discovered Ohana Dive Co. Called up the store and spoke with Ryan, who was able to hook me up with rental equipment at the nth hour on a Friday, despite the fact he was loading up to head to Pennyroyal with a bunch of students to certify. Gear was in great shape and worked as advertised - price was good too. Theyre arranging some awesome-sounding dive trips, especially for 2020 (Philippines?! Yes please!) Im glad theres a good dive shop in the Madison area once again!

Shipped them my Seac BCD and Reg set for some repairs and their annual servicing. They wasted no time at all. Price was fair and they were done super quick. Even decided to go diving with them the next weekend and had a blast. Genuinely good people there. I look forward to giving them more of my business in the future.

If you want to get to get your scuba diving certification, Ohana Dive Co. is the place to go. Ryan is not only super nice, funny and a great teacher, but he is more than willing to work around your schedule and make sure you achieve your goals as a diver. My friend and I wanted to get our open-water certifications before we went to Australia, and we had a very tight timeline to get all of our book work and water dives done before the end of December, and Ryan was able to help us fit everything in before we left...and at such a reasonable price too! We felt super safe and comfortable putting our lives in his hands underwater. When I return to the states, I plan to come back to ODC to get my advanced and rescue diver certifications!

Awesome first time dive experience. Ryan made the experience amazing and took every fear or nerve I had away. He definitely made the experience one that makes me want to continue learning and do more.

I first met Ryan for a Reactivation class and since then have done many specialty certs, my Rescue diver training, been on the West Palm Beach dive trip with him, and am planning my Divemaster training with him- as well as more dive trips! He is by far an amazing instructor- very knowledgeable and makes learning incredibly fun! Always a blast to learn from him and would recommend Ohana Dive Co hands down!

Every once in awhile you come across a business that is beyond good- it’s exceptional. ODC is one of these businesses. I found them on Instagram and on a whim asked if I could join them for a weekend dive so I could knock off some cobwebs and also introduce my nephew to SCUBA. From the moment they introduced themselves, there was no ego, pretense, nor condescension. Ryan, Jason, and Sarah were humorous, kind, and patient. These are the kind of people that I’ve been looking for for years. Genuine. I cannot wait to join them on more dives.

Ryan was very personable and made sure my daughter and I got the right size wet suits. I felt as if I was being super picky and specific with the style I wanted but he was patient and got the suits ordered and delivered in a timely manner. I shopped all dive stores in Nashville, Clarksville and looked all over the internet and I’m pretty certain he beat allThe prices I found elsewhere. I hope to venture out on a dive trip with him and his crew soon.

He answered our many questions and made sure we werent nervous about anything. He also planned the entire weekend trip including driving us down to Alabama and organizing hotel rooms for us. Additionally, he was super accomodating of our busy schedules and incredbly patient with us. I would recommend him to anyone!

When visiting in Florida I met Ryan, the SCUBA instructor and although I was super nervous about multiple things regarding diving, he reassured me i’d be okay, and it would be one of the best experiences of my life, and he was right! I highly recommend learning to dive or frequenting his dive trips whenever possible!

Can’t recommend Ryan and ODC enough. I recieved my Open Water cert with them. They worked around my schedule and found dives that worked for everyone (especially difficult in December!). Ryan is also a dealer for a number of scuba equipment companies, and he helped me find the fins I was looking for at a better price than I could find anywhere else. I definitely will be diving with ODC in the future.
