Was considering doing a project with Overhead door of Nashville and I was encouraged to put down a refundable deposit to secure a place in the line. My priorities changed since paying the deposit and I elected to not do my project so I decided to collect my substantial deposit.Since then, I have been trying to collect my deposit for THREE PLUS WEEKS. And apparently this is the first refund ever attempted in company history, because no one knows what hell is going on. Can you Imagine if I requested something more complicated like having a garage door installed or repaired?

I had an issue with my garage door not closing. The technician came out and made some adjustments to my sensors problem solved. I am having them come back to replace my chain driven opener with a Belt drive to make it quiter. My Technician Adam was extremely helpful.

I was so impressed with Overhead Door’s quick service. My nearly 20-yr-old door came off track because one of the cables broke. I called the local number and they were able to have a technician at my house within two hours. The technician arrived, fixed the door, and told me there was a hairline crack across one of the door panels, but that I still probably had a couple of years left on that door. I appreciated knowing about that and also that there wasn’t a need to purchase a brand new door immediately. The repair cost was very reasonable.

Overhead Door of Nashville was hired to replace a garage door and opener that was 24 years old and making so much noise that we thought the next open/close cycle would be its last. Robert came out to the house to answer all our questions and make it easy to decide on door choices and options. He even helped with advice on one of the door jambs that had rotted and needed replacement, before the door could be ordered. Dan scheduled the installation when the door came in and was able to have it installed the next day. The installers, Todd and Thomas took only a few hours to remove the old door and replace it with a quiet and smooth running Thermacore door and Legacy opener. They were hard working, professional yet friendly, and even programed the remotes and keypad. The entire Overhead Door team gets five stars for their great teamwork and for making the long trip out to the country to bring us a new garage door.

I recently had my garage doors serviced. I dont know if they actually serviced anything or not, but they said there was a short in one of the wires and they fixed it by running wires through the air. Looks very sloppy and unprofessional. I will have to find someone to redo their work correctly. I did not authorize this work.This company did the original installation as well.**UpdateI am updating this review because after writing it, I was contacted by the company and they put in considerable effort to understand the issue and correct it. They offered to correct all issues, at their expense, in a timely manner. It is understandable that companies and employees make mistakes, but the important thing is how they deal with it once they are aware. I think this company has done a good job with that. Wow!!! What honest people. From the estimate with Robert to the phone calls with Hunter, and the install with Adam Pierce.My installer, Adam, was amazing!!! My door was a special order and it was messed up from the factory. It was off center, extra holes in the panels,etc. He called Hunter whom then called me and let me know that they were very sorry and that they had already contacted the factory and had a new one being rushed to my house. He installed the bad one anyway which let me see what it was going to look like. It was a breath of fresh air to have them actually tell me first rather than me having to call and complain. I really appreciate all of them not trying to sneak one over on me. For the forward honesty and friendly customer service, I would give them 10 stars if I could.Thanks again, guys!! My problem wasnt major, but the technician gave it his full attention. Issue was resolved in minutes, checked the operation of everything, and did try to sell me something I didnt need. Called to schedule an appointment to get our garage door fixed yesterday. We were given a time frame from 8 to 12 today. No show and no call. Disappointed as they came recommended from our neighbors. I cant recommend them for obvious reasons.

We built a house 2 yrs ago and used Overhead Door to do our install. The door developed a small squeak recently so we decided it was time for a tune-up. Adam P. Called ahead and showed up on time. My primary doors spring snapped, rendering the door nearly-useless. After a quick search, I called Overhead Door at 11:30. I started changing my plans for late afternoon, expecting to be here all day (I was extremely pleased that they would be able to come today period).By ~12:30, Logan arrived and got cracking. Its now 13:30, the spring has been replaced, both doors have been tweaked, and all is well once again. I dont think Ive ever had any repair thats gone that quickly or smoothly. Its almost like it never happened. Well done!

I am only giving 4 stars because we had a couple of issues on the start of the installation. The manager Dan Bontrager came out to my home walked with me through the job. He deserves 5 stars for sure. He agreed and committed immediately to find out if there was anything that they can do to get the issues resolved. The next day Todd Noel and Thomas Hoffman came and took the door apart and then put it back together. They were very kind and respectful. They walked me through every step as they identified the problem and corrected it. They made sure the area was completely cleaned up and acceptable to me. The manager Dan returned prior to them finishing. He made sure that all was done to satisfaction. He also walked me through what they had done to correct the issue, asked if I saw anything else of concern, and then asked if this was an acceptable result. The garage door is beautiful, functions quietly and efficiently. I am very pleased with the product and the service. The manager coming back prior to the job being complete was a great surprise. Not expected. Dan was truly concerned that the job was completed above my expectation. And it was. Thank you.

(program your car button, oil the noisy door hinges, etc) just know those are upcharges. I would choose them again and I highly recommend them.

Adam fixed the problems with my overhead garage door (sensor) and installed an outside entry keypad for me. He was terrific! He explained the problems, showed me what he was doing and how to program the keypad. The company people I talked with on the phone were nice, professional and the response in getting Adam to my house was very quick. I highly recommend both Adam and the company!

$250-$290 PER HOUR LABOR. JUST WANTED TO GIVE EVERY BODY HEADS UP. I figured around $125 per hour labor, but i was wrong. A nice guy, but i was surprised with the bill.

Our 20+ year old garage door mechanism broke and I went online and made an appointment with Overhead Door Company. They came the next day at the requested time, replaced the opener mechanism, and the problem was solved in less than 24 hours. Great and totally no-hassle experience. Highly recommend this company!

The team at Nashville Overhead door provided an almost perfect replacement to a 15 year old door. I painted it after they left, and you would never know it was replaced. The entire job was done quickly, painlessly, and relatively reasonable considering the amount of labor required to remove, replace, and reinstall the door opener, etc.. I would definitely use them again.

We have a two-car wide garage door with those center, overhead mounted springs on a steel rod. One of those broke so we called Overhead Door to replace both springs. We have been using Overhead Door for decades for any garage door issue. I believe they installed the garage door back in 1987 when the house was built. We got a next day appointment and Adam P. arrived as promised. He called 30 mins before he arrived. He had the correct new springs for our now insulated garage door. He was only here about 30 mins, counting the paperwork. He made the disassembly and installation of those powerful springs look easy. It is not. Everything has to be carefully balanced and correctly adjusted. He did it all correct the first time. Door works great. I recommend Overhead Door for any garage door needs.

The problems are too numerous to list, but it took four months to get a door installed properly (typically takes about 1/2 day). One problem would be fixed while another was created. Parts were forgotten, wrong sizes were ordered, no call no shows were the norm. The door is still not 100%, but at this point I just call the manufacturer directly and troubleshoot it myself since dealing with Overhead Door is so frustrating. Interestingly they thought payment in full was reasonable once the project was complete.
