They just put in the sinks and countertops in our upstairs bathrooms. I wouldnt go anywhere else for stone! They have a huge selection, fast instalation, and great customer service. Whenever my dream of building my own house comes true, I will definitely go to them for some dreamy all white bathrooms!!
As a designer, I work with Granite and Stone Design on a regular basis. They do excellent work and deliver on time, as quoted, every single time. Mary is an absolute pleasure to work with, and their pricing cannot be beat.
This is a brief review of my experience with this company:I was referred to this company by a friend of mine who had several pieces of granite installed in his newly built home. He mentioned that they were cost effective and appeared to be focused on customer service. With this information, I decide to visit their location located on Lyle Lane in Nashville. I explained to them upfront that I would likely need to purchase four pieces of granite from them. Mary was the manager and she walked me to their granite yard and after a few minutes I selected a piece of granite for our outdoor grill. I asked her if a deposit would be required and she said no we will mark it and just setup a visit to your home for the area to be measured. After not hearing from them, I decided to visit the location again and discovered that the piece I had selected had been sold! I thought this was totally unprofessional but they offered an alternative so I selected that one. One week later, to my surprise that piece had been sold as well! I was again forced to select another piece of granite that was now outside the original color choice. This piece was eventually delivered and setup with no issues.I decide to take a risk and ordered two more pieces for two separate projects. Once again one of the original pieces that I selected was sold after I selected it! On the install day, I noticed that there was an error in the way of the pieces was cut. The install crew did an onsite cut and installed it. However, the initial cut was so bad that the granite does not fit exactly into the space (this is after they made an onsite template). The last piece was installed and it cracked two days after the installation. They sent out a technician to examine the break and he stated that the initial installation was not appropriately shimmed and a RELIEF CUT should have been done to prevent the possibility of a break. I recalled seeing a relief cut in the original drawing when I met with Mary’s assistant Samantha but this was never done. After several call and text messages Samantha initially stated that they would be replacing the granite but after several months I have not heard back her or this company to replace this ruined piece of granite. At this point I cannot recommend this business as their customer service and business practice is significantly sub-par to. I would suggest that anyone looking at this business consider the service that will be given after the purchase. They may have attractive pricing but it is not that much less that the more professional granite businesses in the area. No not use this company for any granite service you may regret it!
