This place is fantastic. Sorry food lion but this is not a Food Lion. This place has the staff and cleanliness like Publix but the prices of Aldi (on most things but also watch the specials for max savings)Wonderful people that have been there for a while. It is not shopped super hard so a good place for locals to get the important stuff when things are gone at other stores.Clean, staff is wonderful, prices are great, this is not your normal fruit and produce Food Lion. This is so much better.

Great location, next to Percy Priest Lake. Decent selection, some prices are better than others. Shout out to the butcher, and the managers special. Got a nice roast for $5. Woo! And their Food Lions card is worth having, saved $$!

They claim to be all about courtesy on the phone, but when you talk to someone live, they are just the opposite, that is if you can get someone to even answer the phone. After ten minutes and five calls, I finally got someone only because I skipped trying to get the front desk. I should have spent that time going to Kroger. For a permanently disabled veteran, who is also a senior citizen, my ability to get out is very limited. Food Lion is the closest but not worth the time even trying to get to.

Smaller square footage than some of the other chains but I always find what I need and sometimes better deals. Not as modern but always clean. Staff is always nice.Usually open late which is a plus!

Great place to shop. Im 51 years old. Been working for Kroger for the last 15 years. And I never in my life been in a food lion until today. The only reason I stop by this store. Its was in route to my destination. When I walked in that store. I was shocked at the cleaness the neatness of the whole store. And they had what I was looking for that Kroger doesnt sell in their stores. And the Store manager was very professional and kind to me.

Today I went into the store to get a couple of things and I encountered an older man who decided to start taking pictures of me while I was shopping. I decided to leave immediately and sure enough he followed me to the checkout line. Ethan was there to check out my groceries and asked me how I was doing and tried to make my day better. I told him what had happened and he took my concerns very seriously. He pulled me aside and assured me that what happened to me wasn’t okay and wouldn’t be tolerated. He offered to walk me to customer service to speak with a manager about it. I declined because I didn’t want to make a big deal of it and decided it would be best to just leave. Bottom line, Ethan went out of his way to make sure that I felt heard and comfortable. Usually when I have encounters with the checkout staff, it’s minimal and nothing compared to the kindness Ethan showed me today. I’m really happy to see him be apart of the food lion team. Thank you Ethan.

An absolute gem for this area. They always have the best cuts of steak for the best prices. The staff are extremely courteous and are willing to go the extra mile in pursuit of an exceptional shopping experience. Shout out to Phillip in helping me find exactly what I was looking for even tho it wasnt on the shelves. Dont but all the steaks tho, I will be very upset... But they are amazing!

Great store, friendly. Great prices. For example italian bread $1.50 and you can have it sliced for free. Over pond of sliced cooked ham $5.34

Great bargain and things that. Kroger have ran out off. For example oyster soup, pickled eggs. Full hot meals on steamer just a few. Ox tails pick feet.

Food Lion is now a full fledged grocery store. They are doing a great job competing with Krogers and Publix.

Affordable prices, quality customer service, everything easy to find. As a newbie to Nashville, this is cheaper than Cub Foods ever was in the Midwest. And cheaper than Publix and Kroger.

On Xmas eve they close at 7pm, ok understandable. So I get off work rush down there try to walk in and am stopped by manager. Hes not letting anyone in saying they have to get the registers counted and be out by 7. Well if you wanted to be out by 7 they shouldve closed at 6. So much for caring about a customer. I was just one of many unhappy people who experienced the same treatment.

I live fairly close to this food lion and everyone I know only goes here because it is conveniently close to the neighborhood. Every time I pick up produce here it is already expired or will expire in a few days. The lettuce and fruits especially. Picked up a bag of Cuties Clementines last week and when I got home I realized two of them were completely moldy. Thats not the first time thats happened to me either. Just awful. Only go here for canned goods and alcohol.

They needed more cashiers and a express lane for ppl with just a few items. The poor cashiers seemed like all their life was sucked out of them. I hope they get it together because I want FL to stay in the area!

You know, I had honestly kind of forgotten about Food Lion but it is a Hidden Gem! They have a great selection of little one off random items that you dont see in the bigger stores and their prices are great. I found the store to be clean, well-stocked, and the employees were all very friendly. Im going to start making this my regular grocery store when I am out that way.

A underage employee who couldnt scan alcohol walked to get another employee. He said, alcoholics as he was walking away. There was another customer and I who required another employee scan due to law requirements (understood). The underage employees behavior was unacceptable. I made sure I informed management. I wasnt offended, however, the comment definitely was not appropriate.

This grocery store is close to our home which is the only reason we use it. Produce is not great, the bakery is definitely lacking and overall prices are a little higher than Kroger’s. The cashiers are a little slow and not very friendly. I rate them below par.

Quality of products has gone downhill fast. Its hard to find boxes that arent crushed and cans that arent dented. Produce and meat departments dont offer a wide selection and what they do have is overpriced. Cashiers are slow and very few of them are friendly. Be prepared to bag your own groceries.

Like stopping at Food Lion when in the area of one. Their deli department, while not offering a large variety of items as some grocers, has a good quality at good prices. As for groceries you can find some product not available elsewhere.

I dread having to go here. Please for the love of god get self checkouts!!! All the cashiers are slower than sloths. Just had to wait 15 minutes to get 3 items because the 2 people at the bags were on their phones. How many employees does it take to check someone out? Here, 3-4. Realistically? 0. You should replace some of these people with self check outs, the customers would appreciate it more than you know.

Man this place needs some customer service training. Not friendly at all.

Ive been a Publix shopper for many years, but recently decided to give Food Lion a try since it is closer to me and more inexpensive. Ive been shopping here once or twice a week for about a month and almost every experience has been horrible. I dont know if non-register employees are instructed to not talk to the customer but when you ask them a question they either point or just stare at you. I just had to bag my own groceries while the young man at the register watched me. I leave here so frustrated almost every time that I think I will have to stop shopping here for my own sanity.

We was from out of town, shopping @ Opry Mills & also wanted to see the lights..then I remembered I needed a few things @ the grocery store..it wouldnt have taken me 5 minutes. I arrived there @ 6:35 & a manager, who has NO customer skills, who shouldnt even be a manager to begin with, refused service to me & several others. I have a big family & my bad for forgetting a few things. Very unprofessional to refuse service to customers 25 minutes before closing time. If it wasnt for customers, these workers wouldnt have a job!! Thankfully a lady told me there was a Publix down the road. I arrived 10 minutes before closing time & everyone there was extremely friendly! They even allowed me to run grab something I forgot while checking out! Maybe this Foodlion can take customer service skills from Publix & how to treat others!! 5 star service @ Publix..0 stars for Foodlion for treating customers (who pay their wages) the way they did..hopefully the general manager will teach the importance of the customer is first! If you didnt want to work on Christmas Eve, you shouldnt have!!

Cool to shop there, always has items on sale. I didnt give it 5 stars because its not an one shop stop for me - meaning I only grab a few items I need but I still shop at other grocery establishments to attain ALL the items I need and want to have.

Horrible odor. I talked to the customer service manager and they said the drain systems are backed up with it rains and we are smelling sewage from the deli. Smells like rotten fish and a gas leak. Every customer wrinkled their face when they walked in the store. Unacceptable.

Normally I wouldnt go to Food Lion since Kroger is so nearby, but since it was damaged in the tornado I gave it a go. The experience was not a bad one, this store seems better maintained than what I typically expect of food lion so thats a pretty good win for them. I cant say Id return, but thats only because the Kroger has reopened now.

This store reminds me of what it was like to shop at the old h.g. hills stores. It is a pleasant experience.

Nine out of ten times you have to bag your own groceries while employee baggers are standing around doing nothing. Very seldom do you even get a thank you from the checker for bagging. Made my last trip there.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the store and friendliness of the staff. I found everything on my list including things that Walmart doesnt carry, saving me from multiple trips. My grocery shopping will be done here from now on.

Alot of hard working people busting butt to make sure the store is perfect for customers. The managers are very nice and serious about their job. The deli manager is under appreciated. The deli requires so much more work than you would think. She deserves a raise by far. Be sure to stop by the Deli and tell them to tell Lisa shes doing a great job and shes appreciated so much 💙

Great store to go to, especially, if you are staying in local Motel, that has a refrigerator and microwave, especially if youre staying for 2 or more days. They had the right kind of food, so youll be able to eat in your motel room, and save the expense of the big chain restaurants. The people there are very friendly and very helpful. The two times I stopped, the employees always ask how I was doing, and if I was having a good day. When I would check it out, they would always tell me to have a good day. Very clean and bright lighting so you can actually see what youre buying and paying for.

Love Food Lion!! Its a full service grocery store with a good selection of produce, meats, bakery and deli items. They are always having specials every week when you use your loyalty card. The staff is friendly. The have a large parking lot with handicap parking and wheelchair accessible entrances and bathrooms.
