We loved our experience with The Green Truck. All 3 movers worked hard and were very polite/professional through the process. Terrence came back the next day and helped us move a futon - no extra charge! We will absolutely use them again if we move.

The Green Truck Moving Company (TGTMC) refuses to work with us regarding broken furniture that was supposed to be covered under their insurance. We contracted The Green Truck Moving Company (TGTMC) for our move on 12/6/19. Our dining room table and filing cabinet were both severely damaged in the move. We cannot stand the table on its legs and the file cabinet is banged up beyond repair so badly that the drawers will only open about a third of the way. We were in direct contact with Michael Richardson (owner; not the owner listed on the website). We filed our claim within the 48 hour required window and received no response. This began a trend of reaching out to Mike with no response. He refuses to work with us despite phone calls, text conversations and emails. If you do get him on the phone he acts completely surprised that the insurance company has not contacted you. He says he will look into it and get back to you, but never does. After multiple calls, texts, emails we finally received a claim receipt confirmation form on February 14th. It is now July and despite one-sided follow up, there has been absolutely no contact from an insurance company nor resolution from TGTMC. In the meantime, the insurance form states we cannot make repairs or dispose of the items until the claim is settled. The dining room table is part of a set we were trying to sell so the whole set has been sitting in our home taking up space (through the holidays and now quarantine mind you) with no disposal or repair resolution.***Their Better Business Bureau reviews contain multiple complaints of similar issues. They didnt even respond to our BBB complaint. Just ignored it. Not customer friendly at all.***Other inconsistencies with this company:-They underestimated our move despite an extensive Q&A with their coordinator.-Our move was supposed to last for a few hours beginning at 2pm. It took until about 1am to get everything moved.-We scheduled three movers and they sent two. The cost was adjusted to reflect two drivers in the end and a two hour discount provided due to the extended timing.-The movers were very nice but exhausted in the end of course. They dropped the filing cabinet (on accident) from the top of the ramp and it landed on one of their feet causing a hairline fracture. Completely unsafe working conditions due to the companys mismanagement in arranging the move.-The website states the owners are Emanuel Reed, Clinton Gray and Derrick Moore. Yet the person who identified themselves as the owner with us was Mike Richardson-The website claims they use green moving methods, hence the name, such as recyclable materials they dispose of for customers, offering plastic containers instead of moving boxes, trucks that use biofuel, etc. They seem to use the same materials and practices as any other moving company, moving blankets and a LOT of plastic wrap that is not recyclable and that they did not take with them to dispose of in an environmental way. We were not offered plastic bins instead of cardboard boxes. NOTHING green was mentioned at all in preparation for or during our move.Despite all of the issues, I will say that the movers themselves were very nice. Stephen, the gentleman who hurt his foot, was also extremely professional. We did not anticipate the lack of professionalism we have encountered with the owners after working with someone of Stephens caliber. We are disappointed this matter was not resolved under customary resolution practices and with appropriate communication from TGTMC.

Unfortunately, my experience with Green Truck Moving was below par the third time around. They were a no show to my scheduled move time. I called after my moving window to make sure they were still coming- turns out their system was down and they lost all my information. After speaking with the owner, Mike, I was promised a discount for my inconvenience and the movers would be at my door at 8:30/9am the following morning. They didnt show until 10am. The movers did great! If I could just review their service, I would leave them 5 stars. When I received my receipt, I had 0 discount. I called to ask why I still paid full price and they told me the owner would call me back. Three days later and no word or receipt from the move. I wish my experience with Green Truck was as great as the first two times but this was not the case.

Movers were late but communication was good. The movers were awesome. They moved all my stuff and even took out a ton of trash.A couple of bags were accidentally left in the truck and the owner promptly brought them back to me.

They underestimated & underbid our move for time, staff, $$$ -- damaged many expensive items, took longer than planned, and we spent more than we would have going with another major moving company. Didnt seem very experienced or professional. The lead fellow did his best, I believe, but he was disadvantaged by his own company and helpers. See attached picture of how some things were left in the garage of our new house into which they moved us. Just thrown in and piled up.

The move overall was not bad. However, they never emailed me a receipt. I have been calling them for close to a month now and get the same person every time.She has assured me that I will get the receipt on each occasion and has sent my message to the owner. Still no receipt and every time I call now the owner magically disappears.If you are looking to move with them I highly suggest you look somewhere else. 1/10 - will actively tell people not to use them.

Green Truck Moving Company and Michael Rich are not reputable movers. The movers broke the pedestal off my daughters dining room table and have refused to make good on repair or an insurance claim. To make matters worse, Michael Rich has repeatedly lied to us saying he would make it right. First saying he would repair the damage and then ask us to file an insurance claim. He now just hangs up when he recognizes my daughters voice. He avoids, delays and lies about making good on any claims. Save yourself time and expense by avoiding Green Truck Moving Company and Michael Rich.

Green Truck movers caused over $1,000 in damages to my furniture and will only offer me $120 for compensation for my damages!! Green Truck movers arrived at my home on moving day over an hour late. They arrived ill prepared for the job at hand and did not have enough moving blankets for my furniture. Instead, (unbeknownst to me), they decided to stack my furniture in the moving truck without adequate blankets damaging over $1,000 in my furniture. They also did not return some of my personal moving blankets that I loaned to them because they were ill prepared for my move. They also misplaced and broke several pieces of glass tops for my furniture. I filed a claim BEFORE Thanksgiving and it has not been resolved. They have offered me $120 for OVER $1,000 in damages. This company is unprofessional and incompetent. I even gave one of their movers a washer and dryer for free and this is how my gratitude is repaid? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR FURNITURE I had a great experience with them with a previous move, but my recent experience has been FAR from good.

I used these movers a few years ago to move my belongings from state to state and had a breezy experience. Professional, timely, and everything that I moved stayed in one piece. Would definitely recommend.

My sister and I hired Green Truck to relocate our 88 year old Mom over the weekend. Wow! What a great team we had for two days--Friday for packing and Saturday for moving. Our guys, Reggie and Ron, were so considerate of Mom and her things. These guys were courteous, efficient, and thorough. We could not have pulled this off in two days without them. And the companys pricing was incredibly affordable. It cost us so much less than what we have paid to move her in previous years. Green did us right. We are very happy customers!

Green Truck Movers helped my brother on his move--they were terrific! From my first conversation with Andre, then with Crystal, who was so friendly and funny, they made this operation go smoothly and painlessly. John and his team of Tim & Tim wrapped everything thoroughly and carefully moved his furniture as if it were their own. They did all this quickly and with a cheerful attitude. Poor service, unprofessional, rude, late, took lunch on my time and damaged ALOT of my furniture. Said they would send me a claim to file x3 and never did.

I had to move last minute out of my condo. The green truck was great at providing me a last minute moving appointment. They made sure that I was equipped with everything I needed to move successfully. I had changes on my end and they made sure that I had everything I needed in a timely manner. The movers were great at explaining what I should know involving my moving experience. I had another issue on my end and management was very generous in making sure everything was handled appropriately. The movers were great, the management was great and the owners run a business with great integrity. I will definitely use The Green Truck Moving Company again.

Do not use these movers . They are under new ownership. I hired them because the original owner answered every review online and tried to help the customer with their issues . They dropped a 4 drawer file cabinet and destroyed it, and lost a shelf from a storage cabinet. I was also expecting a credit for moving blankets per the contract. We moved into a brand new home, we had to ask them to put down the floor protection since it was raining. They tore up walls and woodwork. Some of the guys were great, but several of them were argumentative and disrespectful. I have made numerous calls and sent emails. Their standard M.O. is to say give me your name and number and the call will be returned, which never happened. Finally able to speak with Terrance Kennedy, the General Manager, and he promised to send a check for damages and credits. That was 3 weeks ago, and no check. Bottom line, they’ll promise all good things prior to move, after that it is like a ghost company. Avoid them if you value your possessions.

Moving is not a fun experience but a BIG thank you to the people at The Green Truck Moving company for making it hassle free. The packers were quick, friendly and careful with my things. The movers did a FANTASTIC job in getting a houseful of stuff from A to B in a safe, efficient manner. They had a LONG day and were pleasant and hard working throughout. The office staff answered all my questions thoroughly and checked on the move process throughout the day. A all around great company and I will recommend them WITHOUT HESITATION to anyone else who is getting ready to move. THANKS AGAIN!!

Great Experience!The team of three movers arrived on time. They were clear about what they were going to do. They took care of my furniture and put in a hard days work. They moved my wife, daughter and I from a three bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom house. Definitely the worst moving experience Ive ever had. First they were late because one truck got into an accident apparently, but I understand things happen, and they sent another one that came about 2 hours late. However, when the guys came they had a completely wrong invoice that didnt list the items that needed to be moved that were previously agreed upon. Then the 2 guys started arguing about whether or not to load the items that were not on the list. When one of them picked up a lamp and brought it outside the lead mover told him to put it down, and the two of them got into a heated argument outside in the parking lot, literally about to fight. Neighbors came outside and started yelling at them to stop. In all that nonsense, they knocked over and damaged a lamp. The lead guy called the boss and said he never wants to work with the other guy again. All of this happened while they were training a 3rd guy...the whole situation was absolutely ridiculous.Later when reassembling a bed, they lost some of the screws to it and spent half an hour looking for that, and scuffed up wooden floors and the walls. Then after speaking to the manager who was already aware of all of these issues, he basically gave us the equivalent of $40 off and was angry towards us on the phone.I picked these guys because of the great reviews, but something must have changed with management prior to our move in April. Never use these guys, at least in the Nashville area.

Best moving experience ever. Since Ive been on the move with my work the past few years, Ive gone with Green Truck 3 times, and each time has been a super positive experience. This last move was the best yet. Beyond professional and so friendly. This cant be an easy job physically or even mentally at times. Moving is stressful. But the crew at Green Truck are so good at what they do and so respectful, much of that stress goes away. They even moved me quicker to avoid an upcoming snow storm. Thank you so much Green Truck!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!First things first. We were delayed indefinitely, to move into our new construction home due to the tornado that hit TN a couple weeks ago. I have tried to call and cancel the move but they refuse to pick up the phone. They have not replied my my number of voicemails and emails. Their website phone and the number on their email all go to the same mobile phone which they keep sending to voicemail.Second, when we booked, they did not tell us that the $119 deposit was non-refundable. The person I spoke with only said that this was to reserve the move date. He also did not send me any email documentation for the move or referencing this “non-refundable” payment. Very unethical and unprofessional.Lastly, I referred them to my in-laws who were moving before us. The crew showed up 2 hours late first off. Then, when they got there, the movers forgot all the packing material, so they left and didn’t return for another 2 hours. When they finally started, they moved super slow, damaged a few pieces of furniture, and dropped a a piece of furniture which cracked a floorboard. They then told my family that if they gave them a good review the owner would give them a $25 gift card; what a freakin joke! Once they loaded up, it was around 4pm, which was 7 hours after they started, they were “hungry” and decided to take another 2 hour late lunch”, mind you if we had done this ourselves we would have already been moved in by now. On top of that, when they finally showed up at the house to finish the move, they were sluggish, eyes glazed over, and high as a kite. DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. You would pay less and get moved in quick if you moved everything yourself.

Moving is never a fun task to do but when a friend referred me to use the Green Truck Moving Co., their excellent and efficient expertise were spot on for my moving needs. I had a small time frame to move from my Condo into a single family home and the Gentlemen from the Green truck Co. were Awesome. The employees named Terrance and Bobby ensured everything was done in a timely fashion. They also had great interpersonal skills so things was never weird as they were in and out of the house. These guys were awesome. I had some suffix and unusually timing requirements initially that they were happy to work with and accommodate. Then I had to reschedule the times add my closing was repeatedly delayed and they remained flexible and eyes always a pleasure to speak with. When the day finally came the guys worked hard, were polite and took good care. Highly recommend.

I felt completely secure and confident in this moving company. The two men who moved me from Nashville to Houston were not only extremely polite and professional, they also took the time to make me and my mom feel very comfortable with every thing they were doing throughout the move. We enjoyed the experience so much that I requested that the two gentlemen who packed up my place in Nashville also be the ones who delivered it in Houston. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was quick to make sure I got the answers I needed and did so with a friendly and professional manner. Ive never used professional movers to relocate because I feel its too expensive. This time I didnt have anyone to help with my move so I called around to different moving companies. The Green Truck had reasonable rates and setting up everything was painless. I absolutely hate moving and I can be a pain in the but when it comes to moving my belongings. The guys were great and understandable. Everything was moved without a hitch. Wonderful job guys!I have told friends about The Green Trucks awesome service and will continue to spread the good word. I will also use them in the future.

My family and I have moved five times in the past eight years, and this company is by far the best that we have used. Ian and Cordell were our movers. Their work ethic was absolutely wonderful and they took great care and caution with our possessions. They were also extremely polite. We moved from Birmingham, Al to Nashville. The movers were supposed to be at our house at 8am, but one of the crew had a family emergency, so they didnt show up until 11:30 am. To help fix this mistake instead of sending out 2 men, which was the price we paid, they sent 3. The following day we were supposed to unload at 8 again, and they didnt schedule the unload until 11:00, and didnt show until 11:30 They sent 3 men the following day as well to fix this mistake, which was again a great surprise.The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of communication from the company regarding the delay and their scheduling error. We are moving again in a year in town and will definitely use them again. The price and quality of move is 5 star.

I was less than satisfied with my experience. The movers went far over what was quoted, things were broken, the guys started slowing down and working slow, and they didnt re-assemble the beds right. One was too loose and one had screws missing - if I didnt check the mattress first would have fallen through the frame and I could have been hurt. They lost the screws that they didnt put in so now its up to me to go to the hardware store and try to find new screws. For all the money that was paid, Im very disappointed. I would not recommend these guys.UPDATE 6/19/16My mother, Tina, who is handling the paperwork, has called several times regarding claims we filed, and we still have not heard anything about it. I will update my review once we hear back.UPDATE 7/7/16My mother has called several more times and still has not heard anything regarding a few of our claims. Since this has drawn out for so long, however, there is just no way that I can make this review any better. First of all, I would like to say that I enjoyed my Green Truck experience from start to finish. After calling their Nashville office I thoroughly enjoyed my set-up process for my move from Nashville to Franklin. I spoke with a very nice gentleman named Clinton that walked me through the entire process. This company is so professional that they sent me an email confirmation the same day I scheduled my move that explained all the details for my moving date. My past experience with other companies, this was not the case. On my moving day I woke up very stressed but the movers Michael and Allen were so wonderful that the rest of the day seemed simple and stress-free. I even had one large piece of furniture that I forgot to mention on my initial call but the guys had no problem moving it. I think they even enjoyed moving the piece because they said it gave them a good workout! I was so pleased I even gave the guys a hug despite them being so sweaty! I definitely recommend this company to anyone moving to and from the Nashville area. Great job guys and thanks again.

Hired this company to store, then to move my home belongings out of state. A broken mirror was paid for and a missing vacuum cleaner was replaced with a new one only after I spent weeks calling and emailing with no response. I am still missing items that were inventoried and lost in their storage: a lamp, step ladder and a large wardrobe box packed by me. I packed at minimum 30 boxes myself, and only marked which room they were to be placed into once transported. When finally reaching someone at the company, I was asked what the contents of the missing box were. I could not recall items within one particular box, but I gave them the identifying numbers from the companys inventory sheet. They could not locate my box or other items but offered me $50 which I countered to a minimal $250. I had downsized for this move so each box I packed was important to me personally and worth more than $50...and actually more than $250 as well! No response to date. Complaint has been filed with BBB, as well as National Consumer Complaint Database(NCCDB). Adding poor reviews on this site, Yelp, and anyone who asks. They believe their responsibility has been met. Clearly, it has not.

The Green Truck Moving Company promises and delivers! I have never had a moving company take such pride and care into their work. They made sure they didnt miss a single detail. Not only did the crew give me fantastic service, but I even heard from the office every day of the move, as well as before and after follow up calls to check on me to make sure everything is alright. This company goes above and beyond to accommodate! We moved from Nashville to North Carolina without any issues. In state, out of state, it doesnt matter! They will take care of you. The gentlemen from The Green Truck Moving & Storage who moved me today were absolutely fantastic. They arrived before 7:30am and finished my move at 10:00am handling my belongings with care, even my very heavy gym size elliptical machine. I was hoping to have it all complete within 3 hours and they exceed my expectations. I had enjoyable conversations with each of the gentlemen who were all polite and friendly. Ive submitted a claim to have my dresser repaired after the top was destroyed during the move. A box was placed on top of my new dresser that left a huge ring on the surface. The paper that was supposed to be protecting the surface was matted down and glued to the surface with whatever leaked on it and weve tried to clean it off, but it wont come up. The customer support is terrible about responding unless I call or email to get an update. I submitted the claim within 48 hours of the move. I called the first week and nobody had handled it or responded to my claim submission. After sending multiple emails, they said the claim had been submitted, but Ive received no updates. Its been three weeks since our move and Im beginning to think they are just stringing me along in hopes that I will forget my new dresser is destroyed. Its rare that I leave bad reviews and Ive tried so hard to be kind and patient. The actual movers were super nice guys and the rest of the experience was great. However, accidents do happen during a move, and I would avoid this company in the future if they wont help repair the items they damage. Id be happy to change my review if they would actually deal with my claim.

I used Green Truck just this past weekend. I had never used movers before and now I feel like Ill never look back! These guys were incredibly easy to work with from the very first call onward. I had Travis, Michael, and James and they were exactly on time and had all of my stuff loaded and unloaded in only a couple hours!I like that they give you a quote with a low end and a high end so you know what to expect. Mine actually ended up being almost exactly what the low end of my quote was!So happy. They helped make my extremely stressful move really easy and efficient. I 100% recommend this company.

These movers are great! We will use them again. I oversaw the move as they relocated my moms possessions from a condo to an assisted living facility. The two men that worked with us were polite, professional and efficient. They patiently readjusted the furniture until my mom was fully happy where everything ended up. They carefully padded all of the furniture so that nothing was damaged. I wish I had found them sooner.

Both Jamie and Ryan did a fantastic job in moving all the items from our 3-bedroom apt. to our house. They were professional and helpful in not only in the move, but in bringing to our attention boxes that were not properly taped, which was corrected. Jamie assisted in packing additional items that were added at the last minute and I was pleased with how Ryan was able to move my round dining room table without disassembling it, as it has been done on previous moves.We have used the company before and recommended you and plan on doing the same for friends who plan on moving in June.

My wife and I recently used Green Truck for our move to a larger home. Tony and his team of three other movers were efficient, professional, and made the entire process less stressful. They gave a one-hour arrival window, were on-time and started immediately. This crew wasted no time getting started and were always moving from one piece of furniture to the next without delay. We provided lunch because of the hot weather and each crew member was appreciative and thanked us over and over. If we move again, Green Truck will be our first call.

My husband and I sold our home and had to move to an apartment while the new home is being built. As moving day approached, we could see that our scheduled day was going to be rainy. I called Brien to ask if we might be able to bump it up a day to avoid the rain. Lucky for us they were able to accommodate the short notice change and we had great dry day for the move. Ryan, Patrick and Kris arrived on time, were very polite and professional. We have a lot of large heavy furniture and they took great care to wrap and handle everything. Part of the load went to storage and part to an apartment all within 6 miles of each other. The whole job took 7 1/2 hours. They really worked hard to get it done. Thanks for a smooth move.

Hands down the best moving company Ive ever used! Great customer service, very knowledgeable, and most importantly affordable! The movers were on time and polite. This company definitely deserves 5 stars but I ran into one issue trying to reschedule my move a day before because of family issues. I was told that I couldnt reschedule my move and was a little bombed about that however, I was very satisfied with the services. Best movers EVER!! Otis, Travis and Lance showed up on time, got things packed up quickly and gently and got things unloaded quickly. They were professional, kind, patient and just great guys to work with!!! There were absolutely no worries with these guys! We had a couple of rolls of quarters that rolled out of a drawer and they got them right to us too! IF we ever move again, Green is the company we will definitely use again! First let me say, The Green Truck Moving Company offered exceptional customer service. From the initial phone conversation to the end of the move the movers were so professional and full of energy. My move was some time ago, however, this company has grown and more efficient than ever with their overall service. I was pleased when the movers came 10 minutes before the initial move time and worked very quickly, yet carefully with my items. I recommend The Green Truck Moving Company to all future movers.

I recently was moved by Green Truck Moving Company. I received a quote and conformation via email. My quote did not match what was initially told to me, so I called to speak to someone. The second person said that the quote wasnt right and said she was going to send me another one. I never got the new quote. I called again and they assured me that I would be charged the correct amount. On the day of the move, sure enough I was charged the amount that was on the first incorrect quote. When I complained they said It was on the quote provided. You can obviously see my frustration. Another thing, is that a leg was broken off of an antique piece of furniture. (I have now had a piece of furniture just sitting on its side for weeks.)The guy filled out a damage report, and took pictures and said someone would be in touch with me. Weeks went by with no calls, and when I would reach out, they would tell me that someone would call. Nothing. So I called again and Mike, who I assume runs the place, said that legally, according to the paperwork, he only had to give me $0.60 per pound. My piece of furniture is about 80lbs, so he said I could get a check for $48. Mike was very rude and did not want to help me. The guys who actually did the move were nice and worked hard, but the overall experience with this company was terrible.

I was given a time fame between 7:30 - 8:30 for their arrival. Terrance and Brian were at my house by 8 am. They were very fast and extremely friendly. While they never stopped moving, they were quick to crack jokes. Terrance really helped to calm my nerves once we got over to my new place. I had no idea where I was going to put any of the furniture and he helped a lot. I would definitely use the Green Truck Moving Company again and I would request both Terrance and Brian next time.

When I first moved back to Nashville; I had a moving company that broke furniture - smoked while on the clock and so much more to list. This moving company was the complete opposite. We had 6 guys, Jacob, Daniel, Darnell, Michael Murray, Damien and Steven and they were just fantastic. They wrapped every piece of furniture and glass so there would be no damages. They did not hit walls and were very cautious with our belongings. They worked hard and fast and the only company who suggested 6 guys and 2 trucks to get the job done. Every other bid we received suggested 2 guys and 1 truck with the same number of hours...it would have taken them 3 days. I highly suggest this team to anyone in Nashville moving!

Patrick was out to my house immediately, walked through the home with me, and listened very well about what was coming and what was not. The quote that was worked up was SPOT ON. We fell right in the middle of the timeframe that was quoted, and the amount of trucks/guys was perfect.As far as the crew is concerned, they were absolutely incredible. These movers were all experienced professionals. They handled all of my items with the utmost care. They worked very well as a team, and the best part is, they were a great bunch of guys to hang out with all day. They were kind, considerate, fun, and personable.After we unpacked, I called The Green Truck back to request they pick up my empty boxes. A crew was there within hours of my phone call, and 5 minutes later, my boxes were gone.I cannot say enough great things about this company. While their pricing may be a bit higher than some other companies, I felt like it was money well spent. I would not hesitate to call The Green Truck again for any move.

Let me start this by saying moving no matter how positive the experience is hard and not something anyone wants to do. Its a time when you are packing up your life and relying on others to care for your things as much as you do.The Green Truck Movers were great! They were really responsive and dedicated to moving all of our stuff from one side of the city to the other. They moved quickly and rarely took breaks during our 9 hour move. The team was really polite and professional from start to finish.My wife and I cant say enough great things about the work the team did on site. Our site lead was Jermaine and his 2nd in command was Dominique. Both of them were GREAT! If you get either on your move you are in great shape. As far as moving goes this was the best experience Ive ever had and Id be happy to both use The Green Truck Moving Company or refer them again.

I have used Green Truck twice and could not have been more satisfied!! However, I decided to buy a Living Social deal for my move last weekend, in an effort to cut costs, but all it ended up cutting was corners! Working with another moving company really showed me exactly how professional and efficient Green Truck truly is. Always on time, pleasant, careful and hardworking! They also have honest and reasonable pricing (I was just being cheap b/c I had just paid off a vacation)! Additionally, with all the paper and plastic used in moving, its nice to work with a company I know will be environmentally conscious during the process! The moment they walked through the door they greeted everybody in our home and continued to address us as sr and ma’am the entire time. They moved extremely fast and didn’t waste any time at all. Shockingly unprofessional. Damaged items during the move, and I submitted a claim according to their own process within 48 hours. Took 11 days and constant phone calls and emails on my end to get them to look at my claim and give me a valuation. Now its been an additional 20 days since they said they sent a check for the damaged value in the mail. No check received, company refuses to answer emails, and every time I call they promise they will return my call within the day (not surprisingly, theyve never called me back).

I am newly single. going through a divorce and was really nervous about having to use a moving company because Ive heard so many horror stories about paying by the hours and getting movers that are goofing off and your rates shooting through the roof because the estimated time went over. I only had a certain amount I could afford to spend. When I googled moving companies and found The Green Truck Moving Company I was really excited.. then thought to myself.. there is NO way that they will have the best rates. I got quotes from 3 different companies and Alas!! My first pick Green gave me the best quote. The morning of the move arrived.. they were prompt (Andre & Terry) friendly but busy and on the money. It was a comfort to see that they werent trying to waste my hard earned money and were very quick and efficient. I cant recommend these guys enough!! Not only did they not go over my quoted amount but I ended up paying slightly less. YAY Green Truck! =0)

These guys worked some wise magic for me yesterday on an interim move going from 9 to 5 rooms. Allen, Chris and Michael were on time, friendly, polite, patient, and hard working. They helped me maximize my space and did their best to take the stress out of my move. Derrick and Ronald worked great on scheduling and price. This was my 20th move and by far it has been the quickest and most professional compared to my corporate moves. Thanks to everyone at Green Truck. My wife and love the Green Truck moving company. We have moved 5 times in the last 6 years (work related) and the Green Truck was the best moving company we have ever had. The three guys that moved us worked their butts off and were very professional. They moved us in 3 1/2 hours compared to the last company that took close to 7 for the same amount of stuff.The three guys that moved us deserve some major props and I would hire them anytime. Also they were the first company that we used that I would have felt ok with leaving my wife alone to handle the move.

This moving company was just fantastic. I honestly didnt want to pay a company to move our stuff since things have wound up lost or broken from moving companies in the past. These guys were awesome! They showed up ready to move and got right to it. My estimate a few weeks before was for a 12-14 hour move. These guys got busy quickly and moved us in less than nine hours. They were so careful about wrapping the furniture and getting it up and down the many stairs in our old and new home. The guys were friendly, polite and willing to do the work. The Green Truck came out and did a large warehouse/office move for our company. Brien came out and gave us a very detailed AND ACCURATE estimate before the move. On move day Jimmy, Agee, Ryan, Cordell, Terry, Tank, and Ms. Linda worked all day to get us packed and loaded up! They didnt slack and they didnt complain. They were all quick to answer any questions we had and even helped us with some extras items that came up at the last minute. Polite and friendly. No complaints at all. Everyone at the office commented on how hard they all worked and how quick they got the job done. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend!

These guys were amazing. I was given an arrival time of 11-3pm. At 11:05 they were there and got straight to work. They didnt drag their feet, wraped all my furniture, and got across town in no time. I had a 900+ sq foot townhouse that I moved from and it only took 2 1/2 hours to pack, drive 40 minutes all the way across town and unpack and that even included their travel time. To make things better they were by far the cheapest quote in town and I called EVERYBODY! I highly recommend that you hire these guys if you are looking to move!

Our entire experience was fantastic!! They asked so many questions up front to make sure they were prepared. The office folks were courteous and prompt in their communications. That experience was only surpassed by professional quality of the 2 gentlemen who came out for the move. They were prompt and introduced themselves in a very professional way to us. Then they made sure that the floors and door jams were covered. All furniture and wall coverings were covered with packing blankets and everything was delivered without damage. We will use them again!!

I had an awesome experience moving apartments locally here in Nashville with Green Truck. I needed some help moving my heavy furniture (kitchen table, dressers, bed, sleeper sofa, etc.) and they were able to move it very quickly with no damage or problems. Moving all the furniture from my 1 bedroom apartment took less than 2 hours total, and that includes driving time. They were also extremely polite and friendly. I highly recommend moving with Green Truck.

These guys did an excellent job. They arrived right on time and worked non-stop, with no breaks, for 7.5 hours to get me moved. They were very careful to wrap all the doorways and all my furniture so that nothing got scratched or damaged. They were very professional, polite and friendly. I also love that their company is environmentally friendly. The end price was right in the range they had quoted me, and it was comparable to other companies in the area. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

The green truck moved me from Atlanta GA back to Nashville TN, and this move was a very smooth transaction from beginning to end. The movers were very professional and handled all of my items with care. Once we arrived in Nashville they set up all of my items and made sure I was happy with the results. This is a very professional company that makes sure from the moment you call in to receive a quote you are handled with care. I would use this moving company again to move in state or out of state.

The Green Truck movers were professional, quick and respectful! I was nervous about the logistics of my move but they made everything smooth and simple! Worst movers ever!! They broke so many of our belongings, including a solid wood canopy bed, a butcher block cabinet, statues from Egypt, and several antique pieces of furniture. They also scratched up the hardwood floors in our new home. They gave us 48 hours to report the damages, which gave us little time to unpack boxes. When we were packing up, the movers started arguing so loudly on the street, that a police officer let me know about it! As we set up our mattress, on the floor of our new home, we saw dirty boot prints all over the cover, which by the way cannot be washed! Insult was added when they offered to patch up our broken items. How do you patch up a antique ceramic teapot that my late mother gave me??? Or antique candlesticks from my late brother!!! They bragged about all the celebrities they had moved, I guess we were just not important enough to be treated right! BTW the green image is BS, since we actually recycled our boxes and paper ourselves and took them to U-Haul.

We have already written a review for this company . They still refuse to reimburse us for the damages .Terrence Kennedy assured me they would mail us a check for our losses. That was in November . He will not respond to phone calls or emails . We have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau.Please beware of this company .

Weve moved with Green Truck twice, and we really like them. Their rates are reasonable, and weve been able to get moved at times convenient for us. This wont be true for everyone, but theyve moved our pre-packed, 2-bedroom house twice, and both times, the cost was the 2.5 hour minimum. The movers have been friendly, efficient and careful on both occasions. I highly recommend them!

We needed a professional moving company for a 2400 sq ft house move. Everything was staged and ready to go... a rickety old truck with 4 homeless kids show up. Yes homeless kids. How do I know? Not only did they ask for food during their shift, they told me they were homeless. They also told me the company were all about hiring homeless kids and providing them housing and a job. I thought - “wow, that’s cool!” Until I realized how scared these kids were of not getting paid for their work, and how the owners threatened to not pay them a lot. It sounded like a terrible situation. It also had a few warning signs of abuse and maybe even slave labor attached to it.Anyway, the kids were nice and they did what they were capable of, which wasn’t what you would expect from professional movers. They could not pack a truck to save themselves and told me the truck was full when it was about 30% full (I was paying hourly for their services mind you). I got to the other end and saw how light the load was. I then told them they needed to fill the truck more on the next run. They struggled on the next run and between four guys could not load the remainder of the house and could not take some of the heavy stuff like a big green egg. Did I tell you they damaged things? Yeah they did that too.Anyway, after almost 8 hours and two loads (equivalent to 3/4 of one truck load) I told them I was done. I told them I would do the rest. They then tried to charge me $1032 for the job, based on hourly rates. I told them I would not pay that, because they were slow. I ended up with the owner on the phone who told me I had a contract to abide by. I disputed based on the fact they did not send professional movers but homeleds kids, who DAMAGED THINGS, were slow and could not pack a truck. He then threatened to take me to small claims court. We settled on $700 for the job. A very expensive and unprofessional 3/4 of a truck move.I ended up getting a friend with a U-Haul the next day to remove the remaining 30% which we did in 4 hours.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND THE OWNERS ARE CHARLATANS. I feel like they are exploiting the homeless and defrauding the customer by saying they are a professional moving company. They own some trucks and use cheap and possibly slave labor.I mean it. Use anyone else but these guys.

Service completed 2/6/15. I had never used a moving company and had my reservations about them but knew I needed one because my husband could no longer lift heavy items. Google was my first line of defense to see which companies were the best in the area. The one that had the best reviews was Green Truck Moving Company. I scrolled through the reviews to look at the service provided and was very pleased. I contacted them and went through my list of items that needed to be moved from each room. They provided me a very thorough and detailed quote. When the movers came, they were very professional. They checked all items in each room that needed to be moved so they would know the proper equipment they needed to prep and pack the truck. They did not goof off or play around. They were very expeditious in getting the items packed and placed in the truck as well as unpacking to place in my new home. All items were intact and nothing was damaged when they unpacked it and placed it in my new home. I received courtesy calls throughout the process to make sure the movers were timely and performing their duties. I cant say enough about this company. They are excellent. If we move again, I know who to call. Great service + great people = super happy customer! Thank you for a job well done!!

Not good.Very slow. If you want professional, experienced, and motivated movers, DO NOT use this company. They will take up way too much time, charge you way too much money for their service, and their lack of communication shows what little professionalism they really have. Not only that but their business office is the same, they will scam you, charging you more than you agreed on. They finally decided to give me a small credit and still nothing has come through on my account yet. Do not use this company; you will be terribly disappointed.

These guys were great. We had LaDaryius, Isiah, Charles and Josh. Super professional and very friendly. I will say it took longer than I expected because Ive never used a moving company that wrapped every piece of furniture, like, every piece, so I wasnt expecting that, but that just shows you how professional they are. They dont want to risk any of your furniture getting damaged. Great guys! Oh also, Crystal was fantastic answering my questions and getting this move scheduled.

Warning! Do not use this company. Day 1 They showed up late, never finished packing which made Day 2 the moving day way longer. They also showed up late. Then they left me with belongings in the front yard and my garage still unpacked while the new owners began moving in. I had to call my parents and brother to help pack the rest up and 4 hours and 3 trips later I was moved out. Day 3 They came back with an entirely different crew to unload me into my new house. Many of the boxes were not labeled which was a disaster. I helped them both moving days spending hours bringing boxes out of the house and then unloading them into my house. My wife and I filed a claim for a few damages that were caused. After not getting any response from Mike through emails I finally spoke with him on the phone. He is unethical and does not care about his customers or apparently his reputation. It’s unfortunate because I did like Terrance and some of their workers which were nice guys. Only way to say it, horrible management! It was a nightmare and continues to be as they refuse to resolve or even look at my claim. I do not like leaving a negative response but I don’t want others to go through what I went through. I am filing a complaint through the BBB.

These guys are great for relocation moves. They carefully handled all of you furniture and boxes. They move everything into the house and even place the furniture where you wanted it. They take the moving supplies with them so you dont have to worry about throwing them away. I highly recommend them as a moving service.

However, after reading several reviews, talking to a previous customer, and chatting with the office manager at The Green Truck Moving Company, we decided to give them a try. My girlfriend was so impressed with the experience that she called me both during and after the move to tell me how safe she felt, their level of professionalism, and the quality of customer service. Both she and I would recommend this company to ANYONE! If I ever need movers, they would be my first choice!

Update: This has now been several months, and despite having numerous calls, the last result from Green Truck Moving was that they dont know how to move forward on this, despite having paid additional for the 2nd tier insurance. I appreciate the owner responding here, but this is still not resolved despite moving 3 months ago.Id really love to give them a 5 star, as the actual process was great. However, their damage handling is non-existent and this review is to hopefully actually get any response back from them. My wife has repeatedly emailed and called them, but every time she calls the person is out that she needs to speak to. I hope this gets handled so that I can change this review to a great one, but otherwise this is going to have to be escalated by a lawyer as we have been unable to get a proper acceptable response of any kind.

We had to move twice in 3 weeks because the builders were not finished with our new house. We had two separate crews and they were both polite, courteous and prompt. They worked hard and were careful not to break or scratch our belongings. We would recommend them to anyone looking to move.Thanks

RUN, DO NOT USE if you value your possessions. They did not use padding, which is standard industry and asked prior to hiring and kept asking them during the move and now I have damage that cost more than the move. It just wasnt worth it and would never use them or recommend them. Then they come up with excuses as to why they dont want to be responsible. If they took care and did this properly is one thing but this was blatten excuse for not following the standard industry of using padding to protect the furniture.Wow, just saw the review. The company lied! Green Truck, it wasnt resolved and you DID NOT pay on anything to fix our furiture, you gave excuses and I have the emails that I will post if you continue to lie. You should be ashamed of yourself for lying like that. We did not receive ANYTHING for the damage you did and these are actual pictures. Lord Jesus, help this company to speak the truth and take responsibility for their actions. Amen!

Oomar and Chase were terrific - they set us at ease right away, were professional and moved briskly without breaking anything or stuffing. We hired them for a pack-and-ship and they got it done quickly. Thanks! And when we arrived at our move-in location they were willing to go the extra mile to re-arrange things without eye-rolling, making things uncomfortable or rushed. They were personable and fun.

Jimmy and Rodney moved a truckload of office equipment. They did not waste any time, but were very personable and did a few things that I did not expect. I had to store a desk in a garage for a couple weeks, and to keep moisture out, then did a shrink wrap. Not much, but it just showed that they are concerned about my furniture. I will contact them again for my next move.
