I used to really love this store, and I would pass by several stores to go here. But the guy that works in the store doesn’t wear a mask, and my last experience there was just generally really frustrating. So I switched up which paint store I go to. I feel like if you’re not going to wear a mask during a pandemic, you (at the very least) need to offer curbside service so that customers don’t have to come inside and be in an enclosed space with you!

I had a painting company quote me a price for a job in my apartment and I felt it may of been pretty high. I called Hoover paint and spoke to Rodger and he took the time to answer all my questions i had about the project. The information i gathered was extremely valuable. This family owned establishment took about 15 minutes out of what appeared to sound like a busy store in the background to help me, i cant imagine how good the customer service would be if i were actually there. Thank you Rodger!

Everyone at the store is very patient and knowledge, and the prices are competitive. However, I have to give a special shout-out to Roger who has patiently answered every DIY question that has come up and couldn’t be more helpful. Will be coming back for any and all painting projects.

I will never go to another paint store again! These guys rock. I made numerous trips and each person I dealt with was wonderful. They were helpful, attentive, thorough, knowledgable, smart, and friendly. Their attention to detail and color was so welcome and refreshing. I wish the world was a little more like the Hoover Paint Store.

We were repainting the door on our 60 year old house. Roger was extremely helpful in picking the color, the paint, the primer, and tools. He gave excellent advice on the steps needed to get the best results. We could not have asked for better service.

Just want to say that personal attention and customer service reign supreme. I was needing a couple of special colors and Kevin, who helped me, put forth great effort to duplicate the colors to more than my satisfaction. Id say, hes a master of working color. I am a fussy artist with high expectations but he superseded them. If you want that extra attention, to satisfaction and detail, they rank the highest Ive seen.

Hoover paint Green Hills is by far my favorite paint store in Middle Tennessee. Ive been a professional painter for 30 plus years and often purchase paint supplies weekly. This store is always a pleasure to walk into. In addition to a full line of Benjamin Moore paints, they have a great selection of sundries with exceptional values on many of the products I regularly use. Their level of customer service is top-notch, always courteous and ultra-professional! Ive called many times regarding product information and painting tips in general and they always provide great information and suggestions. Hoover paint Green Hills is a Hidden Gem!

I moved into a house last year and knew I wanted to have the walls painted and knew I wanted them painted before I moved into the house. One day before the painters were coming I went to Hoover Paint Store to get paint (rookie move I now know). Roger was super helpful in helping me to figure out what colors I would like and making sure that the colors would coordinate well in the house and had my colors ready by my timeline. I truly appreciated his insight, and the colors look great!

What a pleasant surprise to discover this store. It has the feel of a paint showroom rather than a paint store. I was uncertain about the color to paint a specific room. Samantha and her colleague, Roger, suggested I bring pictures so that they could provide more accurate suggestions. This level of customer service is amazing. I ultimately decided to paint the room Olympic Mountains, a lovely color that Samantha suggested. I will definitely shop there again.

If you want quality products with exceptional service, you need to head over to Green Hills Hoover paint store. Roger went ABOVE and BEYOND for me, to meet my needs for a project. I have never experienced this from a paint store, unheard of really!!!! If I could rate above 5 stars, I would.

Roger is amazing! His knowledge and expertise helped me solve a paint problem even the manufacturer couldnt help with. It was near closing time on a Friday afternoon and he went above and beyond his duties, treating me with the utmost patience and kindness. Awesome paint store!!

Hoover Paints on Hillsboro is the BEST place in Nashville to buy Benjamin Moore paints. Picking the right color can be daunting, with so many to choose from, but Hoover employees like Roger understand the chemistry behind the various products and provides excellent guidance in selecting paint colors and finishes. Ive used this store for DIY projects as well as professionally performed jobs and always love working these folks. This place is a great resource for people who care about the color and quality of paints they choose.

I’ve just Benjamin Moore paint for years, so when Hoover Paint opened up in green hills I was happy. What I wasn’t expecting was the outstanding, in depth knowledgeable service I received from Rodger. He was so helpful with explaining how paint colors and finishes work together to get the feel and look I was wanting. He was patient as well!

Awesome Experience. I worked with Roger and thought I knew exactly what I wanted coming in. He gave me amazing perspective on my color choices and how to pick proper hues together. He even stayed late to mix what I needed and made recommendations to fit my tight budget. It isnt often that you find this level of customer service and I will not go to another paint store again. This is the difference between shopping at a professional paint store and going to a big box hardware store.

I needed a paint match for touch ups because we our selling or home and the old paint we had left polka dots and awful marks on walls that were too high for me to just repaint myself. I went to many different stores for paint matches but none of them covered them correctly. Then I found ROGER. On a busy day, he went out of his way to make sure the paint matched the sample, spending almost an hour of his time dedicated to making sure the paint matched . I was skeptical at first but sure enough after I did the touch ups and woke up the next morning to look, it looks as if the whole wall had been painted. I will never use another paint store again. Roger you are the man!!!!!!

Hoover Paint Store of Green Hills deserves 10 stars! Absolutely terrific service from Roger. Hes super-knowledgeable and very friendly, and he gave us a lot of that invaluable asset: his time.

We went by the store on Saturday and didnt realize they had closed 15 minutes prior bc they were doing a yearly inventory. We left and decided to call in case maybe they would answer and could tell us if there might be another store open in Nashville somewhere bc we had our whole weekend planned around painting a bedroom. Even though they had closed, they answered the phone and told us we could come back and they would let us in and get our paint ready. This is going way way way above and beyond what would be expected. Weve been there twice and the service was great both times!!!

Roger is a master at mixing paint. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of paint especially with color matching. Best paint store in Nashville!!!
