The store is nice and the products and prices are great! But the people they hire are not friendly at all! Ive been in this store several times and every time I try my best to get a cashier that at least acts like they like the job they chose to do. No one is forcing you to work there. If you arent happy with your job, find somewhere else to work.

Very accommodating staff. I need bulk items and they seem to have what I need. If not they order for you.

1st time shopping at Aldis and I will return. Staff were kind and acknowledged that I was there. The prices are reasonable.

The store is always clean and is always being restocked with family favorites. The prices are magnificent compared to national brands and they typically taste better.

Just okay...some things are good some are not..and thier vegetable section is a sometimes worthy sometimes not venture..I never buy anything prepackaged or prepared at aldi...it has a mini-sams kind of thing going on and I definitly dont want anything frozen from either place..at most a pizza but they do offer a nice little take home and bake pizza option I was pleased to enjoy. Has some deals but mostly everything is exactly the same just a generic or somehow foreign brand. No deals on meat here either. Why is it considered a discount club? Because they sell cheap canned veggies..big deal!

Aldi is a pretty good grocery. They carry mostly store brand at very good prices. My only complaint is an inconsistent inventory. One gets used to a store carrying a certain product. Thats what brings you back over and over, right? Well not Aldi, just as soon as you find a product that you like boom - they stop stocking it. Seems like an odd business model.

Im an Aldi freak. Only shop there for groceries. When we lived in OK, Aldi. KS, Aldi. San Diego, Aldi, & unfortunately were now in Havelock, but Ill definitely make the drive to New Bern. Everyone I have ever encountered, I turn them also into Aldi freaks. Such great prices!

Our favorite grocery store. Limited of articles compared with other stores but with good healty options for food exclusive of this store. We support the enviroment care by not using plastic bags. Dont forget to carry with your own bags

Always love going to Aldi. This is not our regular Aldi, but that adds a little adventure to comfortable shopping. But Aldi is affordable, has some really good sales, has almost everything I need, & has some unusual items that are fun to try, either for myself or as a gift.

New store in New Bern. Bought 4 racks of baby back ribs. Packaging indicated use or sell by September 9, 2019. Opened them and immediately smelled the meat was bad. It’s Saturday of Labor Day weekend and the store is one hour from my house. Not an option to return them today. Had to purchase new ones from Food Lion! Tried to obtain a phone number for the store but forget it! Not available! First and last time my family or I are shopping there!!! Be very careful when you purchase meat products from this store!

I love Aldi! Ive shopped with them over 10 years. If you have problems with anything you purchase thats their brand or perishables they offer a twice as nice guarantee where you get your money back AND get a replacement! You dont even have to wait in a special line, the cashier will help you get a refund! The produce, meat, and bread are delivered daily. Theyre environmentally conscious by having people use their own bags! And the staff is always willing to help you find anything you need and answer any questions. If youre not shopping here chances are good youre spending more money somewhere else!

This place is amazing! Customer service was spot on and these folks went out of their way to make me feel at home. I would recommend going to this aldi any time of day Im just so happy they brought this store to our area.

Just like any other German supermarket, discounted off branded foods at a real reasonable price great produce wide-open isles making it more convenient for you to walk and push your basket the only drawback that I see is having to put a $0.25 deposit to use the shopping carts. I know thats how they keep their costs down

Will not shop in this location again. Cashier was rude and needs training to respect the customer. We are the ones paying their salaries. Plenty of other grocery stores in New Bern to spend my hard earned money in.

Affordable prices compared to other grocery stores in the area. I continue to shop at Aldi because I get an entire cart of groceries for nearly half of the price when I shop anywhere else...and I dont need coupons or some special card! This store was clean, spacious, and it was easy to find the things I needed. I have loved every product I have tried thats an Aldis brand. If I have ever needed to return bad produce (very rarely) I have received my money back, along with more of that product. I will definitely be returning to the New Bern store.

Absolutely amazing. I read some of these reviews. To the person with the ribs: that could happen anywhere. You just take them back and you get your money back and a replacement. To the person who said their groceries were thrown: one bad employee isnt worth writing them off about. To the people who said: theyre not as cheap as Greenville or Jacksonville, you should check out where you live. Its New Bern and them is some ritzy a** beaches! Try moving somewhere else. Love Aldi, love the prices. Store manager is awesome! Ill be back!

What we have here is your typical German supermarket Aldisremember they have a bunch of no Brand products thats how they compete against Walmart and other supermarkets around them. And dont get caught up thinking that offer the lowest prices 100% of the time.

So disappointing. Prices are higher here than at other Aldis locations in Greenville and Jacksonville. Selection is not nearly as good here as at other Aldis locations.Produce that was on the shelf was already bad and was swarming with blow flies. When I asked if there was fresher produce in the back I was told there was not. The employee acknowledged that the fruit was bad and he could take it all off the shelf but there wasnt anything to replace it with; thus he had left it out.

Love Aldi. Been shopping with them since 2007 when I moved to NC. Love the new one in New Bern. Very up to date and clean looking. Been going there Sense they had their grand opening and have had no problems. I dont go anywhere else unless I have no choice. Its the only place I definitely buy my meat from and that says a lot because Im picky because I grill out 24/7. Not sure about the problems other people have and but if you say something they will actually fix unlike other companies that just make you think they did. For the guy with the ribs. Take them back and get your money plus some. Most of the complaints on here just sound like somebody looking for something make gripe about. But thats me. Besides most of you shop at Walmart and still do and yet youre breaking about a small thing at Aldi which is a whole lot better in a whole lot cheaper.

1st experience at any Aldis was when i visited the new one that opened here in New Bern, while thenprices were nice, the customer service was TERRIBLE. The Cashier threw my groceries in the cart with a terrible attitude and as I was trying to stand up the groceries that flipped over from being thrown into the cart, she continued to chuck more groceries in, just missing my hand a couplenof times. I even made a comment out of shock saying Ok Really?! Which she ignored...

I purchased a pork shoulder on Wednesday, Friday it was bad. I took it back and I got some pork ribs, got home, they were bad. Will never buy meat from them again. You cant call or talk to anyone either.
