World Car Kia in New Braunfels, provides OUTSTANDING service and seem very passionate at helping their customers… I was very impressed with the overall service I received @ Kia Service Center! The service folks are very detailed and let you know exactly what requires work and why- they break it down in simple terms…V/rRenay
KIA Service department: These guys do not take responsibility for anything they do. First, I had a recall on my car back in June 2021. I called in June to schedule an appt to bring my car in to take care of the recall. Im told they are shorthanded and dont have any availabilities till Aug. (I understand, isnt everyone in the same situation right now, thanks COVID!) I show up on my scheduled day just to find out that they do not have the part needed to repair my car. Im assured that they will CALL ME BACK upon the arrival of my part and be squeezed in since I had to wait over month for the original appt. As you can imagine, I never hear back despite my constant calling - even after finding out in Sept. the part had arrived. In addition to waiting for a call back for the recall part they did not have in stock, when I leave I find that my car alarm is no longer working, of course, this wasnt their fault, so Im told, its because my car is old (2013)! Funny because it was working when I came in... (guess whos Googling how to fix the horn alarm to her car.) Its now Oct. and Im back at the dealership to get the recall fixed. When I mention the car alarm issue Im told they checked everything they can without charge and they cannot find any issues. What does this mean, they want me to pay outta pocket for them to fix something they broke. Is this far, NOT AT ALL! The KIA service dept does not care about their customers AND they do not know what good customer service is AND this isnt my first issue with them here but it will be my LAST. I WARN ANYONE who wants to use this service department, BEWARE!! Im not using names because I choose not to be petty like that but at the end of the day its BAD MANAGEMENT!!
BEWARE... DECEPTIVE PRACTICES.My son and I went here looking a 2022 KIA K5 GT LINE.. We called around for several days and was told they have one available. After driving almost two hours, we went already prepared. Upon arriving we test drove the car and wanted it right away. We was working with a newbie Christian (he was nice)but, because he was unseasoned he was assisted by CARLOS(with the mustache) BEWARE OF THIS GUY. We didnt need their financing so he tried to add a $1900 charge and called a some sort of paint and interior protection plan, I proceeded to advise that I decline that service. He came back again with the same document now charging $1300, I said AGAIN this is optional, I dont need it or want it. His arrogance started to kick in. He said I had to get one of the two, and that its apart of a Addendum they had thats it mandatory. So I asked to see the addendum. He proceeded to say this document is all I have. I said thats not a addendum its a line item you are trying to up sale. He said if I cannot get this removed you would have to choose either or, so I asked who makes the decision to remove a OPTIONAL cost. He said that person would be himself. Long story short after going back and forth with him for 20 minutes. I said you can lose a $34k deal over $1900 that should not EVEN BE CHARGED. Fine we can leave. Finally his Manager comes out with the same paper without either charge and says out loud, THE PACKAGE IS OPTIONAL. Sad part after is that this dealership does not take vouchers from your bank, so we had to drive 35 extra minutes each way to our credit union just to get them a cashiers check. It was utterly disgusting dealing with Carlos. Two other sales people apologized for his behavior he never apologize for being ignorant. If there wasnt a car shortage and had my son not already sold his car. They would not have gotten our business.World Car Kia New Braunfels a word of advice, please vet your employees a little better to make sure they are not doing a terrible job representing your company.
My steering column was giving me trouble so I called to see if they could help fix it. They lady on the phone was very friendly and I got an appointment for the next day. When I went in I got checked in right away. The service advisor, Chris knight, was knowledgeable about my issue and informed me of how long it would take. I just went in for my steering but they told me there was actually a recall on my vehicle for another issue. They fixed both, they were under warranty so I didn’t have to pay anything (a pleasant surprise) and they did it in a timely manner. Cannot thank Chris and his team enough. Would highly recommend.
I went to World Car Kia without an appointment to look at a Ford they had on the lot. Jerry Lew helped me and let me look at the car even though he was assisting another client with an appointment. He was very professional and courteous. I was in contact with Megan and she set me up with an appointment to shop around. I then was contacted by another Mazda salesman to make sure I saw the cars that I was interested in. This location has great communication and customer service!
We went on a Saturday and were there for about 5 hours, their AC is out and we were all sweating and they didn’t have water in the vending machines, all of that just to get sent home and told to come back on a weekday. We came back on Tuesday, ready to sign the papers and drive my car home and waited for 2 hours just for them to tell us we had to have the car on the insurance before I could drive it off the lot… so we left very frustrated and came back on Wednesday with everything ready and got the car. Now I will say, the employees seem to be doing the best they can under the circumstances and Celeste our salesperson was amazing and worked very well with me. The the finance officer who did the paper work with us was the only one running all of this and he really needed some help because he was basically doing the job of three different people with a line of customers waiting to sign paperwork.
No communication. These are difficult times we are living in and I understand businesses are having a difficult time with staffing. Called 4 times for status of vehicle, check engine light problem, was told the car was hooked up to diagnostics and would be notified. Never notified of anything. Week and half passed, finally received call after leaving 2 messages that car was ready to pick up. Did not even pull the vehicle up, had to find it myself in their parking lot. And I am in my 70s. Not appreciated.
The staff at World Car Kia in New Braunfels was great yesterday. They greeted me with a smile and kept me posted on the status of the inspection and oil change.I left in my very clean car as the staff washed my car when they completed work on my car!
Very friendly dealership. Love how they make you feel at home.
This review is specifically regarding a service appointment, I scheduled an appointment and arrived on time with my toddler. At no point was I told they were running what seems to be behind and an oil change would take over 2 hours. When my daughter needed to be changed 45 minutes in to waiting, I asked for a changing table as I saw none in the restroom. They had none. When I asked how long the wait would be from That point, I was told two hours! So my child is supposed to hang out with a dirty diaper for hours? This is a simple thing to have at your business by not providing it you are alienating an entire group of customers. Also, how difficult would it have been to call this morning and say “hey wait times are longer than normal today, would you like to reschedule?” Giving two stars because the staff was at least polite. Went to jiffy lube was in and out in 20 minutes.
As usual I was met in the service driveway immediately after driving up. Colby was professional and yet friendly as he greeted me. Colby inquired about the reason for this visit and after I told. I was gathering info on pricing and availability of specific maintenance. He told me and even went as far as to let me know that if I waited for an appointment it would be at least a month, as he was booked that far in advance (as were most dealers in my area). Then he said he had a cancelation and asked if I wanted to do it that day. I told him I had some time restraints for that day. He said that he could get me in and out withintwo hours. I took him at his word. Sure enough, he was holding my car door open for me to depart in less than 2 hours, job completed and additional questions answered. AND the car had even been washed! It had been a couple of years sinceI had been to World Car New Braunfels; because of the distance from my home. But they (I visited various departments) were just as professional, courteous and genuinely friendly as I remembered them to be. I made a promise to myself that they would get all my car business from now on, despite the driving distance.
Came for my appointment. Kia team was on time (7am appt), dropped my car off, and they contacted me when my vehicle was done. Seamless experience. In and out with no issues. I like appointments that get you in and out with no hassle.
Really appreciated that they listened and didn’t give run around, straight forward. Very helpful overall
Car that I wanted. Great trade in experience. Jerry Lew is the best. I’d recommend going to see him. While you’re there try out one of their EVs.
Yes they are a month wait. I had an issue with my car that turned out to be a battery. I kept the appointment for an oil change.Attendant caught what was in computer went over it. I informed him it was battery and just need oil change. Inspection was also done. Suggestion were made. I agreed to those suggestions over a phone call. I always appreciate the work especially with the backlog and low staff. I continue with Kia because its local and they keep up with my car needs. A review of what was done was completed with me at check out.
I was able to drop my car off early and I was kept up to date with what my car needed. Photos were provided and a full detailed report. Colby was excellent help.
I brought my car in to have an oil change, and had an appointment for 8:30 am. It took two hours just to have an oil change done. Thats ridiculous. I will go to a regular oil change place from now on. My time is more valuable than sitting there for two hours just to wait for an oil change. Why do you require appointments when it ends up taking forever to have things done?.
Friendly, fast, informative, polite, no pressure, followed my needs and $ limits. Very pleasant and exciting experience. Love my new car!
Got a new 2021 Kia Forte today and in spite of CoVid, chip shortages we got what we needed and were helped out tremendously by our sales guy Randy and finance Kevin. Also saw Colby in service who remembered me from another visit. Feel like we got a great deal and will definitely be back! Thanks!
Horrible and rude customer service. Waited weeks for an appointment. Show up for the appointment only to be told that the appointment had been cancelled. They told me that I had called in that morning and cancelled the appointment because I was sick. What!! Im telling the lady that I most certainly didnt call in that morning and her response was to be snarky and rude. I most certainly will not be using them in the future.
💓💓💓My new Kia Soul! Its the mimi-me of my Element that I had for 16 years. Service at World Cars in New Braunfels was excellent! I definitely recommend them if youre looking for a new vehicle.
The associate who took care of me was Colby. He is the one who makes me want to go back. The work was good but Colby went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Good job!
Great service. Terrible car wash. Always leave with water splotches all over my windows. I have to clean them when I get home. 😔
Took my Soul in as a really of recall notifications. The staff was very friendly and professional. My car didnt have any issues so this visit is all I can review. However, if trouble arises, I will be back.
Went to test drive a car and decided to purchase the car; however, the manager Brian was not willing to negotiate the price. He said even the owner would not negotiate the price, and the sticker price is what it is. You would think as a business owner, when you have a lot FULL of cars that are just sitting, you would want to be a great negotiator. Especially, when you have someone in front of you putting down $2500 cash. You cant make money if your not selling cars. Maybe it just wasnt meant. Who will ever know🤷🏻♂️.
My wife and I normally get a new car every 5 years so we bought a New SUV from this dealership we really like the car. The experience at this dealership has been the worst we ever had encountered. This is the second month with the car and we still have no way too make any payments on the carPaperwork from the dealership still has not made it to the bank. We have called many times sometimesthey call us back but for some reason in 2 months they can’t seem to solve the problem. We would give the car back and go somewhere else if that was possible. Also our temp tags are expired. So the car has been sitting in our driveway because of expired tags.
I went in and test drive a Pathfinder. I made an appointment to come in when my partner was available to purchase the vehicle. Went in at my scheduled time and no one spoke to me for a good fifteen minutes. I was finally told that my salesperson was not in and the vehicle was at a “central lot” because they used it to shuttle staff. They would get the vehicle and call me back. Five hours later I called and was told they weren’t going to get the vehicle that day and I needed to come back later. I took the day off work AND scheduled an appointment and you want me to come back? Come to find out the vehicle was sitting at another one of their dealerships because it was test driven the night before. I could have spent the last five hours at the other lot buying the car or if they really cared they would have brought the car back. I was lied to, my scheduled appointment was ignored and I was blown off after that. Must be nice to have so much business that you can just ignore a person trying to buy a car. You absolutely suck World Car!
Colby was very helpful to get my car done, even that it took to long to be repair, but He did his best. Thanks Colby.
At first my mother and I arrived, no one came to greet us. Which we did not mind at all. It was refreshing. It gave us time to actually look at the vehicles and was able to pick the very one that fit every need and want. I had no gripes. So, we walked into the dealership, was greeted by the nicest, sweetest, and most helpful person Matt.He lead us to I believe his name was Brad that showed us the car, gave us the run down, he was in and out of his office for periods of time no one knew where he was or when hed be back. Bless, Matts heart throughout our whole time there he was making sure we were alright and if we needed anything. So that process waiting on Brad took a bit.The best part was when Brad took us to the gentleman in the back who runs credit checks & draws up the contract, not one..not 2..not 3, but lucky #4 came out of that printer just as it should have the first time. We will just blame it on computer error that led to two printers to malfunction.lol.That guy wish I could remember his name, he was trying so hard and felt so bad it wasnt printing out right. All we could say is its okay, we have an extra water would you like to have it and he said yes if youre offering. Finally, we were able to sign on the dotted lines and drive off in the car I chose and not anything less. Proud moment.Four stars was for the lack of communication from sales to us as to what was holding things up, It was not busy so that was not a reason for lapse of check backs.*Tip I would give them this to tighten up on keeping everyone in the know. Messages were not being returned at all.(personally).
Worst car buying experience we have ever had.. Took forever to get the car we were interested in cleaned up and serviced. When we finally got to test drive and were ready to buy, the salesman quoted us a price $1k more than advertised even after we explained the sales mgr told us he would give us a good deal due to the poor customer service and lies we had dealt with. I have filed a formal complaint with Kia HQ and plan to file a complaint for false advertising with BBB. We took our business down the road to another dealership, were treated like royalty and bought a new Nissan! Their loss....
I have never written a review before. I am making this an exception because of the horrible, non-challans, and unbusinesslike attitude of the works in this dealership. How can you not welcome a new customer to your dealership? How can you not make your customer feel welcome? How about offer cold water at 100 degrees temperature? How can you not ready to negotiate when no price was displayed?I do not have good experience with this dealership. I went somewhere the same day; it like a night and day. Needless to say, I bought my car in another dealership. Will I ever recommend or revisit this dealership? I doubt it.
We snuck in just before close, Jay was wonderful but the car was a bit rougher than wed hoped
Initially called and scheduled a service appointment in January, and wasnt able to get the car in until February for a quick fix. Unfortunately due to the snowstorm the appointment was overlooked. Was finally able to reach someone in service after leaving a few voicemails, in which I quickly learn that the part was never ordered for my car. After a long discussion with both parts and service, I was able to reschedule my appointment and order the correct parts. Liz in service was very helpful and understanding as was Adam, the parts manager. However, after speaking with the service manager, Harry, Im not sure I will ever do business with World Car Kia of New Braunfels ever again. He was rude and disruptive, and did not care about my concerns about waiting 2 months for an easy fix on my car. He was apathetic about my condition, wanting to get my vehicle fixed in a timely manner, and quick to argue. When I explained the whole situation to him, he did not have a response, yet asked what I expected of him, and continued to argue when I responded with my expectations. Considering that my initial appointment was overlooked, and the part was never ordered, my car would not have been fixed in the first place. Harry made clear that it was my problem, not his after two months, I am in the same exact position as I started. Harry, the manager, was no help at all and the driving factor as to why I will never do business with World Car Kia again.
I HAVE RECEIVED 5 MESSAGES FOR LUCIA DOMINGUEZ AND I HAVE REPORTED TO YOU 5 TIMES I AM NOT LUCIA! BUT YOU STILL KEEP SENDING ME TEXTS FOR LUCIA DOMINGUEZ!
Very quick, friendly service.Changed from one KIA in S.A. due to rudeness, and slow service.
Dont take your car here if you want it serviced correctly. Had to take my wifes kia sorento in because the engine started making noise and there was a recall for engine failures. Had the car towed to world car kia and they did confirm that the engine would need to be replaced under the recall. They put us in a rental while the repairs were being done. So far everything was great but when we got the car back thats when we started having problems. Me being an auto mechanic myself when we went to pick up the car from the dealer I just looked around under the hood at the repairs that were done and noticed that there was no coolant in the reservoir or in the radiator. They took the car back into the shop and topped it off with coolant. After getting the car home the check engine light came on and there was a strong smell of coolant. After investigating I found there was a coolant leak. Took the car back to world car kia. A week goes by and they call me to inform me the coolant leak is fixed but I would have to replace the catalytic converter and the bill would be 3k. When the the engine failed in the car it was almost empty on oil and there was no visible leaks. The logical conclusion is the car was burning oil and caused the catalytic converter to fail. I requested the service manager to call me to resolve this. The service manager flat out lies to me and refuses to get the catalytic converter covered under the engine failure. He tells me that burning engine oil cant damage a catalytic converter but even a simple Google search can debunk that. I even talk to a rep at kia customer service and he admits there have been cases of catalytic converters being replaced due to the engines damaging them. The service manager basically tells me to kick rocks and they arent even going to try to get it covered. So I go pick up the car and after getting it home again guess what...IT STILL LEAKS COOLANT. During this whole experience I have found the service dept never answers the phone and they take forever to get back with you. Im done dealing with them and will just repair it myself. They would have know it had a coolant leak and needed a catalytic converter if they properly test drove the vehicles and checked them before releasing back to the customer.
This place is literally hotter than outside. Air conditioning broken for months. Can’t diagnose my steering issue because they don’t have technicians here that are allowed to do that. They can only do oil changes. It will be a month or more before they can look at that. Took longer than that to get the oil change scheduled. Hire more employees and get your ac fixed. This is ridiculous. I spent over 40k on my vehicle and have issues every those I come in for service.I’m over it.
I had great time buying from kia new btaunfel
Other than the two hours waiting to sign papers, it was a pleasant experience buying my vehicle. Helpful and friendly employees.
We walked in late today and Jay assisted us as we lost our keys to a car. Even though parts was closed and there was really nothing Jay could’ve done to help us, Jay went on his own phone to google places that could assist and ended up finding one and calling for us
Im writing this review based on what I sadly witnessed my friend Dan go through with Kia New Braunfels & Kia roadside assitance on August 26th and 27th, 2019 with no resolution as of today, September 8th, 2019.Dan took his car to get its first oil change ever, he has owned this car for around 5 months. First, the tech put in standard oil without checking, OK no biggie. Then the tech took Dan to his vehicle to say the rear tires needed to be replaced, at which time Dan noticed the entire undercarriage of his vehicle had been detached and removed. He trusted it was done out of necessity & didnt question it immediately. Dan was quoted around $700 for 2 tires by Kia, at which time he called Discount Tire & was quoted $400 for the same quality/caliber tires. Upon leaving, on I-35, the undercarriage comes loose & was scraping the ground so badly that he had to pull over because the vehicle was not drivable. Dan called Kia & spoke to whom I believe is Carrie & told her the situation. Ms. Carrie, who I hope is at least a mechanic based on the following advice, told Dan (WHO IS DISABLED) to jack up the vehicle & just pull the piece off. Not only was this extremely unsafe to even suggest, but it would also be impossible (see pictures) & would likely void the warranty on his almost-new vehicle.Dan kindly asked if he could have the vehicle towed back to Kia to be fixed & Ms. Carrie, bless her heart, said the dealership would be closed by that time but to leave the key under the mat & they would service it in the morning. Dan was then transferred to roadside assistance, told Kia would pay for the tow & that he would be receiving a text with the tow truck drivers info & ETA. After 90 minutes, no text & no one showed up. Dan calls Kia roadside again & they magically had no record of the original tow request. It was 10:30-11:00 PM by the time a tow truck finally showed. The vehicle was towed to Kia New Braunfels when the driver called Dan & says, The gates are closed. I can tow it to your house for $150 or it will be $200 for me to store it in my garage tonight, you choose. Dan said Kia was responsible for the fees, to which the driver responded, I have possession of the vehicle I can drop it where it is right now with the keys inside, for all I care. Having no real options, Dan paid the $150 to have it towed to his house. The next morning, Dan had to take off work to have his car towed to Kia, just to be told by Kia staff that what happened to the undercarriage was not their fault. Ultimately, they agreed to order a new part; HOWEVER, It is now September 8th, and he has yet to hear anything from Kia regarding the part or otherwise. What should have been a $50 oil change, turned into a screwed up new car, a missed day of work/earnings for Dan, $150 in tow truck expenses & a headache. Oh, we were also on our way to my birthday celebration on the evening of the 26th when this initially took place but that is besides the point. Id really appreciate if someone from Kia (corporate, preferably) would contact Dan or myself with clear details regarding the status of the ordered part, reimbursement for the tow truck expenses & refund for the oil change.
I am working on financing with them now. Nobody answers my calls or texts. it is incredibly frustrating to want to give a dealership money, but to be ignored outright while I attempt to do it.
Loved the service at World Car New Braunfels! I bought my Kia in San Antonio but wasnt happy with the service department. Also, I live closer to NB. Anyway, I am much happier with the service department here. I was met at the door, the technician explained everything to me, and I knew what I was going to pay before the service was done. I will definitely be using World Car NB for my service needs from now on. 🙂UPDATE - Colby is an awesome service advisor - friendly, helpful, and an all-around good guy. Employees like him are why I keep going to this dealership for my cars service needs. 👍
We purchased a 2021 Kia Sorento SX on 5/15/2021 at World Car Kia New Braunfels. The actual buying experience was OK, but we had to haggle quite a bit and even walk out of the dealership at one point to get closer to the purchase price and trade-in value that another dealer had offered us a couple of hours away. The salesperson (Celeste Vasquez) was nice and did what she could to help us, and the sales manager seemed nice during the very short interaction we had. All in all, we paid a bit more than we would have by going out of town but felt OK about it because we got the vehicle that my wife really wanted, and also because of the lifetime powertrain warranty we got at no additional cost. The bigger issue came up almost 3 weeks after we purchased the vehicle, when I was notified by the lienholder of the vehicle we traded in that my payment was past due. World Car Kia was supposed to pay off our trade-in within 10 days of the sale date, but it is currently 20 days later and the loan still hasnt been paid off and my bank is seeking the payment that was due last week. I have called World Car Kia and was told that I had to speak with the finance manager (Keith Howard), and after leaving 5 messages and sending an e-mail through the World Car website over a 2 day time period I have not received one return call or response. I also tried to reach the general manager (Michael Cobb) of the dealership and he wasnt available either (and he hasnt called me back after leaving him a message earlier this morning). The person who answers the phone cant seem to give me anyones e-mail address but said she would go get it and call me back...still nothing after almost 30 minutes. Every time I call, the person who I am told that I need to speak with either isnt in, is with a customer, and nobody will return my calls.I am giving this 2 stars only because we are happy with the vehicle and the sales staff was pretty nice to work with. However, the fact that the loan for my trade-in has not been paid off now 20 days after the sale and I cant get in touch with anyone or get anyone who can give me an answer to respond to me is very disappointing. This is making me second-guess the decision to buy from World Car and making me think that perhaps we should have just driven the couple hours to the out-of-town Kia dealership to purchase our vehicle.Hopefully I will hear something soon...but this last issue and the lack of response on World Cars part has been very frustrating.**Update, I finally got a call back from the finance manager with an update, after numerous calls and messages and a couple of e-mails to the GM. The issue is in the process of being resolved.Updating my review to 3 stars since I now know what is going on, but the issues noted in my review above as well as lack of communication continue to be concerns of mine in my dealings with World Car Kia.
I would like to brag on Wesley for a moment! He went above and beyond for us while purchasing a new Telluride. He has great customer service and so very friendly!! Kudos to him and if your win the market for a new car, seek him out!! Keep up the great work Wesley!!
Horrible experience, they want to sell cars for $5,000.00 dollars over MSRP. Im like gtfooh!!!
This place is absolutely phenomenal!!! First off I want to say a BIG THANK YOU TO WESLEY, RALPH AND KEITH AT KIA!!! You guys are awesome and made my families dreams come true!! We are finally able to all ride around together again bc you guys made it possible. I had really bad luck getting a vehicle that I needed due to credit and owing on my current car that I desperately needed to trade in but THEY made it possible for me to do that! If your looking for a great new car or suv ASK FOR WESLEY!!!!Again thank you guys so very much!!
This is the worst car dealership I have ever been too inside the place was hotter than outside I drove all the way from San Antonio and horrible customer service we went back to San Antonio and bought the same exact car at Toyota cavender wonderful service and they were actually willing to negotiate
UPDATE:Colby has been phenomenal as well! I walked in today (June 30, 21) hoping I could get some answers regarding my extended warranties. I didn’t have an appointment scheduled but he helped me out so much in getting me an appointment and ensuring awesome customer service. Seriously, he was beyond kind. So grateful.Kyle was a huge help today (Feb 19 2021). With Texas’ bad weather conditions and electricity and water being shut off and on, I expected to come into the dealership and be met with grumpy workers, completely understandable though. Instead, I was met with Kyle. I had an appointment scheduled for the day before, the 18th, but they were closed for safety reasons (the weather). My car desperately needed an oil change, and the 18th was the earliest I could get. Kyle was extremely willing to schedule me for the oil change today, and then problems began to hit. My extended warranty was purchased through the dealership I bought my car with, and with the systems down, he couldn’t verify my extended warranty right away, nonetheless he continued to search for other options. Then, the system had marked my previous oil change incorrectly with the wrong mileage, and it almost invalidated my warranty all together, but he knew something wasn’t adding up, and instead of assuming I didn’t know what I was talking about, he listened and investigated and found the computer issue! Additionally, the system slowing starting waking up and he quickly jumped on that to call and verify my extended warranty!!Thank you so much Kyle. Truly. You have made this experience amazing. Not only has everything else here in Texas been terrible this week, but I was really worried about my car. But you, you took care of me as a customer and had the most understanding and attentive attitude! Thank you ♥️
I’ve never taken the time out of my day to give any kind of establishment a review, but I felt like I needed to for WCK. This is the worst car dealership I have ever been to, please save yourself the trouble and buy somewhere else. Please do not expect any kind of real communication with the sales department.
Was told I am only 1 of a 1.5 million market. So we left. Not really wanting to make a deal on a 2020 that had cob webs in the engine compartment. This place is a joke.. dont waste your time
Wesley was so helpful and knowledgable! He was a wonderful salesman and made sure we were comfortable while getting all the paperwork together and even helped the service team with detailing our new car. The whole team did a great job and, unlike any other experience we have had, we actually enjoyed being there. Would definitely recommend Wesley and the team at World Car Kia if you are considering purchasing a new vehicle.
Just moved to the area and went here to get some recall services as well as an air conditioning diagnostic. I was immediately amazed by the super friendly reception and the frequent status updates I received. I could feel right away that I was in good hands.D’anna, the service rep, was truly the best customer service advocate I have encountered! She is highly competent and maintains full awareness of the current status of the vehicle, the next steps and if there’s something else that would make sense to look at. Rarely seen now a days, she thinks 2-3 steps ahead. Not only did she provide reasonable options for taking care of the issues, once performed, she ensured the car was tested in varying conditions before she could say the issue had been adequately addressed.I felt cared for and that her primary concern was in satisfying the customer as effectively and efficiently as possible.Absolutely world class service!!! So glad I found this place!
Jose helped us gave us space to look around with no pressure. I was very pleased.
My first experience at this dealership after moving from DC was awesome. Biggest take away was their honesty! I went in for 20k mile service on my Stinger that has aftermarket wheels. The tech came out and let me know that their machine wouldnt work and that the car didnt need it any way. They could have just charged me the 99 bucks and never told me, but they were honest about that as well as other things I didnt need. Customer for life now.
Salesperson not very friendly. Appeared not to care if we bought a car. When asked about accessories provided very little detail or information
So I drove over here to look at buying a new car today or possibly two new cars (fully loaded minivan for the wife and a Stinger GT2 for me) . Drove through the parking lot twice, right by sales people. Then went inside. Im a big guy wearing a bright green shirt, very hard to miss. I did not see any kind of receptionist desk so I walked around their showroom (which was very empty) for about 5-10 minutes. Several employees looked at me but never made any attempt to speak to me. I even opened up cars to look inside them but still nobody came to talk to me. I took a look around to see if anyone was going ro talk to me but sadly no help. Guess selling two of their upper tier vehicles was not a priority to anyone today.
Got free lifetime roadside assistance when I bought my 2013 Kia soul there in 2012, tried to use it last week & was told I did not have it so I called World Car Kia New Braunfels where I purchased my vehicle to have them check the records and have them contact Kia finance Roadside Assistance Department and have them fix it because they told me I had free lifetime roadside assistance when I bought the vehicle and all they did was give me a phone number that had been disconnected. They still sell kias I believe they could have got that corrected on my account especially because their records show that I do have it
Not too bad. As usual the wait time is long for a scheduled appointment. And additional services are recommended, in which I decline because thats too much money to spend at once and I would have to wait another 1 and half. But staff is welcoming and friendly.
They are awesome every time I get services done. Super friendly and fast
Great service, great experience buying a car, but HORRIBLE follow through. I tried, over the course of 2 weeks, to get hold of someone regarding my husbands plates on his new truck from World Car. I spoke to 3 different people on at least 6 different calls to the place, all of whom promised to call me back. Needless to say, I never got a call back, and now my husbands temporary plates are expired. Having to report them lost or stolen to the DMV now and pray he doesnt get pulled over..
Spoke with someone on the phone asking for the availability on a car. She confirmed that it was available, set an appointment for me an hour later that same day, and to ask for Brian. I showed up an hour later to the appointment, asked for Brian and was directed to someone else. Who told me the car just sold. Wasted my time, they were most likely showing the car to someone else while I called about it. They told me to come down and take a look at it, well even have it pulled up for you. I understand they cant hold cars, but to be straight up dishonest...
Damaged my vehicle. Tried to say it was there before I dropped it off. Their pictures when I dropped it off didnt show anything so the manager begrudgingly decided they would take care of it.Got an A/C cleaning service done. Moved to a different area and go get a oil change. The cabin air filter is missing. When I went to pick it up after the service the cover was laying in the floor. Didnt think much of it. Tech came out and reinstalled it, that should have been my clue to look closer.Also. Damaged my factory side skirts from not using a proper lift. Stay away from this service department unless you like your car to get damaged.
First time there because their other dealership had no service openings till December. Good service. Will go again if I need to.
If zero stars were an option that’s what I would select.Do not waste your time here. Salesman was great but everyone else is incompetent.First off the car was bought and never properly cleaned. I had to request multiple times to get it cleaned and ultimately the salesman grabbed what looked just like clean wipes and wiped the inside.Sales Manager is incompetent as well as the finance department. Had to return back to Kia on several different occasions because they kept calling me to inform me I had another unsigned document. The day I purchased my vehicle I had already been there for over 6 hours. Finance department assured me everything was good to go only to get called back weeks later on multiple occasions because they failed to do their job correctly. It’s been almost three months and I have not received license plates or a spare key to my vehicle.
A great place to purchase a vehicle! Great people!
Extremely disappointed in the service! Called ahead to buy my first car and was told that they would hold onto it. Unfortunately this was not the case because when I came in the dealership completely prepared to buy this car in cash I was told it had just sold. Imagine my disappointment as I was already told the car would be held for me. Greed and unprofessionalism is prevalent in this establishment and 100% I would never recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.Sincerely,Disappointed
Customer service was great!
Very satisfied with the new Sportage purchase experience as well as service care with Carrie.
Very friendly staff. Just ask for Jerry if interested in a new Kia!!
I drive farther just to go to World Car Kia New Braunfels as the service department is clean, the staff are very friendly, and they make you feel important. Its worth the extra time I drive to be treated nicely. The customer service keeps getting BETTER each time I go. It’s IMPROVED SO MYCH over the past year. I will continue to go back.
Staff implements customer service. Very polite and professional. Addressed concerns in detail. Lizz thank you for taking time to meet my needs immediately. There is another female there when you walk in to the left, I apologize for forgetting you name, always has a smile and is very polite and professional. KIA has above all has maintained great customer service. Thank you, Marisa Guerrero. Please never change!
I brought my 2020 Kia Telluride in for service and complained that i was having trouble with my cruise control to please check it. I received a call that my car had damage to the sensors from an impact to the front bumper, I did not have any collision or know of anything hitting my car so i was surprised. I called my insurance company and they agreed to have the car fixed by the dealer. We were told it would be 3 days for the parts and that the bumper would be sent to a body shop used by the dealer. I am now 1 month waiting for my car to be returned, i have called and spoken to the service writer and also to the service manager who assured me that i would receive updates on the repairs and the car would be ready shortly. I never received the agreed upon calls but did receive a call that my car would be ready but i would have to bring it back into the dealership two days later for a part that they missed. I told them to keep the car until the part came in which i was told would only be a day or two. I am still waiting for my car and it is almost 1 month. I called and left a message for the GENERAL MANAGER to call me but to no avail. I have leased two vehicles from this dealership and i am now very surprised at the lack of attention or care about customer service. If anyone can tell me who to contact to report this dealership and try to get my car back repaired. The representative of the Insurance company has also tried to get information from the dealership but they dont return his calls either. SOME SERVICE dept. I guess they forgot the word SERVICE and should only be called Department. Needless to say i wont be doing business with WORLD CAR DEALERSHIPS in the future.
It was the most ridiculous experience. We traveled 40 mins to see a specific vehicle that had a convertible top . They told us that the convertible top and the glove box couldnt be fixed, so they couldnt sell it because it couldnt be fixed. They were just gonna send it to an auction. We offered to buy it and they said they couldnt sell it since they couldnt fix it. We got a call to see how the visit went and we asked what happened to the vehicle we were looking out to see what auction it went to and they said they sold it.. We wanted to buy it but they said they couldnt sell it. On top of that the sales person was actually discouraging us to take the vehicle ... maybe putting it on hold for someone else. This is the worst experience ever, as just decided to go with carvana instead much better customer service!
Great service at World Car located in New Braunfels, TX. A few weeks ago I had an unfortunate encounter with my car, rendering it useless. I was essentially stranded at a gas station with no way to get anywhere. Chase Quest happened to be at the same Pilot and was super helpful. Not only did he try and assess the damage to my current car but he also followed me over to an auto shop and drove me over to World Car to look for a new one. I was already in the market for a Jeep and had a specific price range in mind/vision. Chase had someone working on some options for me before I even walked in the door. He even went the extra mile and found 3 more Jeeps not already on the list when he saw I wasnt super into the ones already presented to me. Jerry L and Chase worked with me for a few hours to find the perfect fit and I eventually drove off in a 2015 Sports Wrangler. They were super helpful working with me to find the appropriate loan amount and worked with me to get an affordable car payment. Both were very friendly, courteous and personable, Jerry even gave me tons of ideas to keep up with my Jeep. I love my new car and it is so wonderful to have a safe, affordable and reliable mode of transportation that I love. I really appreciate all of the help and professionalism of both these gentlemen.
Kia Mazda in new Braunfels is a circus, tried calling them before we went up there to ask a question no one answered they were supposed to return my call never did got up there went to the Kia biulding inside they said oh you need parts to get a key made it’s in the building next-door which was the Mazda dealership, went to the building next-door there are no signs stating where the parts department was asked a lady at the front desk she said oh they’re around the corner we got to the parts department no one was in there we rang the bell waited about 10 minutes and then finally I asked someone to page them to send someone to the parts department got there he made the key then we had to go to the other side of the building to pay for it, then we had trouble testing the key out and we ask the service guy to help he couldn’t do it so that he told us we need to go to the back to the Kia dealer we went back to the Kia dealer and they told us to go back to the Mazda dealer so they were sending us back and forth nobody knew what was going on and we asked for a sales person to show us how to do the key and no one ever came we ended up googling it in the parking lot and figured it out herself very bad communication and customer service. They only respond to positive reviews none for negative. In reading reviews sounds like me that place needs a new manager .
We had a great experience with them today. Frank and Bob were both great guys, and Frank showed us as many cars as possible before we made our choice. We also got more for our trade than we expected, which was a very nice surprise. Definitely worth your time to visit them.
We bought a new vehicle for my teenager. The car we chose needed a few repairs. They took care of all issues and everything went great. Special thanks to Jimmy, Ralph and William for making the process so easy!
Fast, and smooth.
Unfortunately they only care about every last dollar and not about earning customers. Was told theyd get a car from their network dealerships. When they saw they wouldnt make as much as they wanted, they told me they would not help me. Salesmen were great, but the sales manager does not care about the customers. Kia South took great care of us and have earned our business in the future.
Great service
BEWARE! Do not buy a car from here! We purchased a 2018 vehicle that had 34,000 miles on it... it’s been in the shop 3 times! I have not even had this car 4 months yet! The communication with the dealership has been horrendous! They lie and give false information. My car has been with their service department 4 weeks and we just got it 2 days ago and my car shut down in the highway with all of my 4 kids! We are filing a lawsuit!
EVEN THOE I BOUGHT TWO CARS FROM THEM IN THE PAST I WOULD NOT GO AGAIN. I WENT TO TRY TO TRADE IN BOTH OF MY CARS FOR UP GRADES AFTER TWO YEARS AN THEY WOULDNT EVEN RUN MY CREDIT OR EVEN TRY, THEY SAID I HAVENT HAD MY VEHICLES LONG ENOUGH AN I MOST LIKELY BE UPSIDE DOWN. THAT SHOULDNT MATTER, I COULD OF ROLLED IT OVER TO NEW LOANS . SO WE JUST LEFT AN FOUND A DEALERSHIP THAT DID DO THE DEAL FOR US .
Overall my buying experience wasn’t the best but my salesman, Luis made it better. He was very very helpful and polite. He did everything he could to help and I am so happy he was my salesman!! Thank you Luis!!! Corey was also a huge part in getting things done. So kudos to those too. The dealership overall and the service center needs to work on better communication and customer service skills.
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Brian (internet sales), Celeste and Will. They really worked with us to get me the Mercedes that I desired. Brian called, texted and worked with my bank to get the necessary documents needed for us to drive away with our vehicle.Celeste was very knowledgeable of the vehicle and friendly. Will was also very forthcoming with pricing and terms. This is a great dealership to work with as they are very professional, friendly and go above and beyond to help you get your desired vehicle at a reasonable price.Thank you all for working with us on New Years Eve night!!
A great shop. But be ready to sweat!! They can’t afford a/c repair work in showroom
Came in Saturday as co-signer as got approved but service is ridiculous with extreme waiting time and unfinished documentation. Typos, Misrepresentation of estimates and finance dept is awful . Got approved with he first credit check and was told credit was Good 700 as co-signer. Asked to come in on Monday due to closing and financial dept unavailable. Monday morning I got 5 unauthorized hard inquiries credit checks from them. They simply said no big deal. I indicated that I never authorize those and they said it was part of the process. Here again this Monday afternoon and still waiting. So unprofessional in all means . Not recommended due to the unprofessional staff and waiting times. Also vehicle must still be process with 15 point inspection and nothing has been completed. Does this dealership really want to sell cars or just make people miserable here?
They are helping me out a lot, repairs covered by warranty, and I am grateful they are keeping me safe on the road.
Our experience purchasing a vehicle went amazingly smooth. Upon arriving to the dealership, our salesman Chase Quest was enthusiastic and very eager to help us. We went to pick up one of of our other vehicles that was getting some routine maintenance done to it, Chase led us to the service department and made sure that we were assisted. I was telling Chase we were interested in purchasing a truck. He took me over, answered all our questions. If he didnt know the answer to the question, he diligently looked it up and made sure that he was giving the most accurate of answers. He was very helpful throughout the entire process, which can be very stressful without a good salesman. We had a pleasant experience and left with a new vehicle. Chase is awesome!!!
I have had 4 experiences here, 3 of which were sub-par. My first experience I purchased a new Soul. Scott was a great salesman and it was a great buying experience. Two years later I returned with my husband to purchase a Forte. We went for a deal we saw on a TV ad and were told that was a lease-only deal even though the ad made it clear it wasn’t. Despite this we agreed on a (more expensive) deal that we were okay with. Within that deal was the agreement that our first oil change was included. When my husband went in for that first oil change they refused saying it wasn’t written in the sale. I guess spending $35,000 on cars isn’t enough to honor a verbal deal of a $35 oil change. Should’ve known. If you’re still reading, the last experience was a doozy.... my Soul was having issues and long story short need a new engine at only 112,000 miles. This experience instantly turned me from a customer into a defendant. Communication and compassion from the service team was lacking (the only reason this review even gets one star is because my service advisor earned it, she was fine). It took them 3 weeks to communicate with the warranty company and decide to cover the new engine. About 8 weeks later I finally had my car back. Do you think I had a rental for 8 weeks? No way! There was no coverage in my service warranty for rentals and world car does not do loaners for extended warranty work. So if my engine had gone out 13k miles earlier I probably could’ve had one. But because of that I was out a car for two months. Two months of getting to work and daycare. Two months of having to call them and the warranty company myself to learn anything. So if you’re considering purchasing a car from world car due to the extended warranty, just know that they’re just purchasing an extended warranty from the lowest bid. My family has purchased three new cars from them in total and we will not be back. Hoping nothing goes wrong with these other cars so I don’t have to deal with them again.
I went to world car Kia to look at the vehicles and was interested in getting a car. However, the finance manager told me that they have 20 different lenders they do business with. I asked them if they use Randolph Brooks and I would told that they did. I told them I would go to my bank and apply for an auto loan. They were trying very hard to do the auto loan themselves instead of me going to my bank. However I went to Randolph Brooks who I bank with and they told me that they dont do business with World car Kia. The bank told me that they have been trying to get them to partner with them but they are not associated with them. I feel like they shouldnt lie to their potential customers or future customers just to get a deal done. That is not acceptable and bad business practice.
Oil change was waaaay cheaper than I anticipated. Service was excellent. Everyone was fast and super friendly. Thank you!!!Never had 5 star service with any dealership.
Very courteous personnel. Will definitely continue to have my KIA serviced here.
Never have I been treated so disrespectful by a manager of a company as I was today. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he retorted with I AM the supervisor. Then walked away huffing and puffing and just left me standing at the front counter while he continued about his day.Consumers - Kia makes a great vehicle! My advice is to go more north (Austin) or go south (San Antonio) it’s not worth spending thousands of dollars to be treated disrespectfully.Owners of this location - please feel free to reach out to me to discuss the details of what transpired. There definitely needs to be some training or replacement of management at that location.
Service Department was fantastic. Very communicative during my service appointment. Danna was very nice professional and an example of what a customer service agent should be! Would have been five stars but had to call and find out why something wasnt covered under warranty when it was. However, Danna did an excellent job taking care of it when I brought it to their attention.
We had an amazing experience at World Car Kia New Braunfels. Our sales person, Rudy Martinez, was extremely friendly, helpful and most importantly, concerned with our needs. He advised us to use him as a tool to satisfy our car purchasing needs; it was apparent to us that he was not just out to make a sale. He was very knowledgeable and was a wonderful guide through this usually treacherous processes. I would TOTALLY recommend buying a car here. Thank you to Rudy and his team for a wonderful and easy buying experience.
In October 2018 we purchased our 4th Kia from Jerry Lew here at NB World Car KIA. We drove away in a beautiful loaded Black 2019 KIA Optima S Pkg, we absolutely love it! The service and attention that we received from the minute we walked in to the minute we drove away was (as always) nothing less than professionalism at its best. Jerry and all the staff here have always been a true pleasure to do business with. We will definitely continue to return, as well as continue to refer our family and friends to Jerry and WC! Thank you for always going above and beyond for us and for all your customers.
Id like to send a special thank you to Leslie Trice for getting me into my 2014 Volkswagen CC. You provided excellent customer service and made me feel welcome. Buying A car is usually a pain in the azz, but it was just friendly conversation with you. Awesome Sales Women.
