Great Indian/Pakistani cuisine, their dum biryani is great and the chicken samosas. Prices are fair compared to other Indian grocery stores.

This is our go-to shop for all things organic halal meat, Desi produce and also Desi spices and other grocery items. I love the fact that I can message my order in via their WhatsApp in advance. Everyone at the store is very kind, they have a truck outside that also makes traditional street foods.

Never come here again

I think it’s third time in a row, they never get your order on the phone. I have experienced this for straight 3rd time now, they didn’t have my phone order. I had to stand in line and order again. It would have been much better if they said they don’t take phone orders.

An organized and amazing supermarket for indian groceries and fresh, halal, meat. Staff is quite friendly, mature, and genuine. It is also very clean. They try their best to keep customers satisfied. Had a wonderful time there. Food was beyond delicious and well enjoyable.Meat is really tasty, especially the goat. There is a high variety of various goods, as well as fruits and vegetables. There is no place I’d rather go than this.

I had worst experience this week when I ordered Chicken. The guy who cuts the chicken was cleaning the store floor holding a mob and a bucket which could be having water plus cleaning liquid. He came directly to the halal section and did not change removed/changed his gloves but just cleaned with water (not even soap) and started cutting the chicken. I did ask him to change his gloves, but he harshly responded saying he had washed his hands. I complained to the store owner about this, he as well supporting saying he could have washed his hands/gloves. But when I forced, then he told that guy to change the gloves then he changed it.Overall its a bad experience and I am worried about what level of cleanliness they are maintaining with food and halal.

Been shopping here for over a year! Excellent, friendly customer service, great products, huge variety, quick turnaround time on fresh meat and very convenient hours! What more could one ask for?

I drive past this store everyday going to and from work. I go home on weekends which means I don’t keep a lot of groceries on hand. I stopped in looking for supplies to make something for dinner. What I found was fresh produce, wonderful spices I can’t find everywhere. I had a wonderful experience the Ladies were helpful and explained items I was not familiar with. At check out the lady suggested a fried pocket snack which was lovely!! I will be back to support this small business because I was welcomed so warmly.

My first review for this supermarket because i just saw some people are very rude when they go there for meat order . For fresh meat u have to wait . Naraish I really disappointed from your review . I know them since three years . Bhaya and bhabi is working very hard . Even in pandemic lock period they help us with there best customer service . All store was closed that time . But they opened . Meat section are very clean and they following the codes . Using gloves which is the best part . Mostly halal meat even not use the gloves . Any how best of luck management of Everest . Absolutely amazing place. The best desi store I have ever been too. The new management is very active. They want to get everything their customers want. They really are making a difference. The meat and vegetables are always available and fresh. Food truck has great menu. Great all in one place for Indian groceries.

A small but cozy grocery store which I visit often. The store staff are very courteous. The food in the food truck outside is really good.

Vegetables are super fresh. I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh okra and curry leaves at the store. Only one improvement is needed. They should put expiry dates on all the packaged foodstuffs. Especially, wheat flour, as it has got a limited shell life of three months. I clearly remember, that the same flour packet used to have a manufacturing date and expiry date stamp on it in India.

FRESH goat, seafood and chicken. Really spacious. This organized and well maintained indian supermarket is the way to go. The food cart outside has many tasty selection(s). Not to mention that the staff are considerate and accountable. I really enjoy their delicious selections of biryani like Paneer, Chicken, and Veg. I HIGHLY recommend the biryanis. Pretty good if I do say so myself. Visiting this store gives me a tranquil vibe which makes me happy. --

I have restaurant i buy meat different places but finally i got best meat .they have all fresh no precuts. Clean very well . I just bought two goats and 20 chicken . It take time but no complaints. Lovely meat .

They have a very good meat selection. Their butcher section is great, offers a great and freshly cut meat. If you want chicken, goat or lamb meat always visit here. On other hand they have very good collection of groceries items. All items are sold for very reasonable and cheap price.Outside they have Food Truck, selling good Indian curries, biryani, dosa and othet small snacks. Food truck is also a good place to take out food. Always a good option then spending money at costly restaurants.

What a great store. Great visit. You can find everything in one stop. Ready to eat food ( cut mirchi, biryani, samosa, chicken 65, Dosa and more, hala meat (chicken and goat), Indian grocery and fresh produce ( okra, karela, tindora, long squash, egg plants, onion etc) and great managment. Stale food at food truck. They use frozen food kept for days. I always believed myself a bad cook but after visiting at this store I am proud of myself that I cook much better than them. Not going to return.

I am new to Delaware. I choose Newark, DE as it is nearer to my college, Wilmington University. Everest is one of the Indian grocery and food store near by. Sometimes it feels good to have a store like this.The foods good here. We can get almost all of the Indian grocery here. They also have a stall beside this store owned by the same, where you can get Biryanis, Curries, Snacks like Bhajji etc., The costs are affordable. Try it people..!

Indian Grocery store in Newark, DE. Used to be the go to place for many people before but now a lot of other Indian stores have opened up close by. They have a small stall next to their store for catering. The food is not bad. The store looks a bit outdated now. It could do with an upgrade to keep up with the rising competition.

Take out is excellent. Made to order with wonderful service by the very friendly cook.

They have very good quality Food Fresh biryani, Samosa.Sweets in storemany more in food truck . All kind of biryani, Samosa chat, papri chat, Gobi manchurian my favourt.Meat section have very good quality Fresh Halal Baby Goats and Fresh Halal Chicken the good thing is they don’t sell beef . No beef related things in store at all. I love to shop there . Grocery prices are very good lower then all arround stores .

It is a decent indian supermarket. You can get most of the imaginable indian groceries. They also have a food cart. You can order food from them.

Gott Basmoti Rice, very bad smell coming from it after cooking, when I call them first they didnt want to return,Later the owner called himself and gave me the return. Only for that guy, i will go back again to shop there.

Very untidy interiors. I read the good reviews here and 3 words- UNTIDY, RUDE STAFF, PRICY GOODSI ordered dosa. Not only it was strechy, it was also over roasted. Not worth the money i paid. The food truck- thats where they prepare the food, it is dirty.Rude and angry staff. Looked like she was forced to work. They need to clean and organize the store and revise their prices. I wont order food again.
