Brought my car in for service today and its usually something I do myself but I had a little extra time and figured I would give the service center a go here. Requested an oil change, tire rotation and recall repair to be completed. Service advisor told me they cant rotate the tires since they staggered, which I understood, but I asked if they could just switch them side to side since I did notice they are slightly worn and the tires are not directional. An hour and a half later they said the car was all set but they were closing soon so they didnt have time to wash it and they didnt rotate the tires because they are staggered. I was surprised because we had already had this discussion that I wanted the front and rears switched side to side anyways and the service advisor told me Yeah they dont really need to do that. Welp, since they were closing shop for the day there was no point in arguing with the guy since they were not going to do it. I came here requesting a specific service to be performed not a recommendation on what they thought should be done and either they skipped it because they wanted to go home or they just didnt care to listen to me. Either way, my expectations for a service center at a dealership were met and I will not be returning. Tires were also all changed pressure to 35psi even when the manufacturer pressures are 34 and 38. And skipping the car wash because you just want to go home isnt exactly top notch service.

Hands down quickest and most stress free car buying experience ever. Tom, Enrico and Mike were great. Kept me informed the whole time about what was going on. Never felt rushed. If you want a GM vehicle go see Tom. For someone who has worked there less than a year, hes knowledgeable, friendly and makes sure you get what you want.

Brought vehicle in for service. Left vehicle for two days and some service was performed and I paid by credit card. Picked vehicle up later after the service dept was closed to find the repair I needed most was not performed. Called next day to complain and had to schedule another appointment for two weeks later. Arrived for appointment and they verified the problem but have to order parts and will call when they come in.Had to take three days off from work and having to use PTO. What a waste of time and money.ithout service being done. Had to make a second appointment for the same issue. Arrived and left again after they verified issue

I purchased a new GV80 from them that was impossible to find anywhere, and I purchased my vehicle from them despite being an out-of-state buyer from Colorado. What a beautiful dealership, very clean but the parts department needs Prozac. I brought my truck there and they only had one tech for emissions and he was sick. Seems like an expensive machine to have it sit there cause you only have one tech or the lady at the counter fed me a line but I couldnt tell she never looked up or made eye contact (2 things important for customer service)

They advertised a new Hyundai on their website with a low purchase price, so I called to make sure it wasnt bait and switch advertising. Im glad I called and didnt make the trip there. Dont trust prices you see them advertise because they false advertise and use bait and switch tactics. Hyundai is trying to put a stop to this kind of thing with their Shopper Assurance program with transparent pricing, but the M.J. Sullivan group doesnt seem to care and wont stand by their advertised prices. It is not acceptable to use these dishonorable tactics and just say it was an error. Stay away!

My father worked for MJs for a few years about 30 years ago. Sadly, he was killed in a car accident back in 93 when two people were drag racing and he was hit head on. I came here to look for a new vehicle and management instantly recognized my last name. They showed me around my dads old office (which I remembered) and told stories. In the end, I got a fantastic vehicle at an amazing value and brought back to my childhood meeting people my father worked with years ago. Awesome experience and gained a lifelong customer.

My Sales Associate, Nick Lombardi, was reliable and did not pressure me into buying a car I did not want to buy like most sales associates try to do. Nick worked with me on the price of the car and the few flaws I had concerns with. All three concerns were taken care of without having to put down a deposit. This was by far the easiest and least stressful purchase I have made from a dealership and I got the car I wanted for a great price! My car was returned with ripples on the steering wheel on the left side where it looks like something was rubbed over the steering wheel and made ripples or cut the leather on the steering wheel. I brought it to the attention of one of the representatives at the counter and he said that was there before I came in I just didnt notice. I drive the car every day and noticed the ripples the second I got into the car. I would not recommend coming to this dealership for car work. All I had done was a system update which requires plugging into the obd port and a recall about my exhaust pipe rubbing against another part.

I have always heard great things about MJs.I recently started bringing my 2015 GMC Acadia to them for service and hoped that when I needed a new vehicle (which BTW is going to be soon) this would be my go to place, as its local and they have been around forever.The woman I always speak with on the phone to schedule appointments is phenomenal.She is patient, always attentive and extremely helpful!After a few visits into the service department to drop my vehicle I always seem to get Vito to help me at the desk. The first time I went he was ok, didnt seem to knowledgeable about there service coupons they offer, he was very short with me not warm or helpful but hey thats ok we got through it, sometimes ppl have a bad day.The second time, I went to him again as he was the only service advisor available, he was not very friendly as if he doesnt want to be there. He told me the wait would be about 1 hour for my oil change (no problem), 2.5 hours later I am still waiting so I left and walked down to a friends nearby.Never got a phone call that my vehicle was ready, I wonder if they ever even came to look for me? I just came back later on my own accord to pick up my vehicle.Ok let it go and said hey maybe they were just really busy.The last straw was when I just called for my oil change and once again I get Vito on the phone to make my appointment. He was so rude, short and just down right seemed like I was ruining his day. He had such an attitude and sounded so aggravated I wonder how no one else has felt the same way I do about dealing with him. Come on MJS no customer wants to have some one treat them that way when all I do is say hi, drop my vehicle and go on my way or go to the waiting area.Never again, looks like Im going back out to old Saybrook, sad this didnt work out it was so convenient!

If you don’t already own a vehicle from here just spare yourself the 30K because if your car is anything like mine it’s going to start falling apart shortly after purchase. A car with only 40k miles shouldn’t have had it’s transmission replaced already, a faulty engine, skip when accelerating, the doors to the vehicle being so defective that you can’t even get out of your own car in an emergency. Imagine having 20K left to pay on a car like this. Walk away while you can!

Awful service experience. Scheduled an oil change and service for recalls on my 2019 Silverado. Was told by technician would be approximately 1 hour wait time when booking. Waited a total of 2:05 and recall fixes not performed as was told parts not available that day and would need a minimum of 4-5 hours to perform recall fixes. Strongly recommend looking elsewhere for service after such a horrible experience.

Overall my experience was an 11/10. Was extremely pleased with MJSullivan as a whole. This was the first time I was leasing a car and they made the entire process extremely easy for me. If you’re going to come to this dealership I highly suggest asking for the salesman Roberto. The person seemed nice but was a little off-putting, typical sales-y thing, no big deal. Once we got to the dealership we met with Nick Lombardi who was absolutely awesome. I looked all over new england to find the exact color, model, condition and interior on my preowned tucson. and mj sullivan had it. robert reardon made the whole experience extremely easy. the tires were a little on the worn side, but the car was so new that it had not had its service inspection yet. Facility was clean and in order, all sales personnel were friendly and accommodating. I drove almost three hours for the car I was looking to purchase at this location (Genesis with color match I was looking for) and the car was ready and the test drive was long enough to really review the car. Jay, my salesman was knowledgeable and went through the car thoroughly. I am very pleased with my purchase and how the it was handled. Showed up to this dealership with the mindset of just looking, I didn’t want to speak to anyone as the reputation of car salesmen is “pushy”. I found a few vehicles I liked and went inside. James Parker took care of me and found vehicles within my price range and I was then given to DiAngelo Romney to look at cars. This was myself and my boyfriends first time buying a car and Israel was extremely helpful. He made this transaction extremely easy for us. Excellent sales & service departments. My husband was looking for a decent used car & we spoke with Nick Lombard and told him what we were looking for and what we could afford.
