Would not help me at all when I stopped in looking for a fuse for my car. On my own I had googled what to buy instead, bought the wrong one, they would not except the return. If you don’t like helping customers, why work in customer service?

I didn’t want to give this store a score at all but couldn’t post my review without one. Worst customer service I have ever received in my 58 years. The store manager told my grandson and I that customers lie and can’t be believed because the Groton store had sent us there to get a belt that the Groton store didn’t have. The Groton store called to see if New London had to stock and asked him to pull it and give us 10% off because the belt we bought in Groton had been switched out and was way too small. The manager in New London told us there are other part stores we could take our business to and started naming them off. The other older employee was not any better. I really felt sorry for the young guy working there and dealing with such ride co workers not to mention the way they were talking to us the customer. I’ll never go there again!
I hate to say this but I am so disgusted with the knew Manager!!! (Dan) Being a female and a customer for years. I prided AutoZone in there respect for woman .Exspecially from Josh, Juan, Timmy, and Pop and others that have moved on. It was so obvious that he haS ZERO PEOPLE SKILLS, A PROBLEM WITH COLOR all evident by his tone and verbal behavior towards his staff in front of customers! A diversity training might help him to learn RESPECT

A auto parts store like no other, When it comes to purchasing parts as a DIY who maintains a fleet of cars for myself and children one needs a reliable auto parts store. AutoZone located in New London Connecticut fits the bill. I have been using this establishment for many years and could not be happier with their service, price and their ability to always go the extra mile to get me the part that I need if it’s not in stock. There Attention to detail is superb. I can’t say enough about the manager Samantha as Her dedication and leader ship skills in my opinion are second to none. This store is truly a well oiled machine. Should you have an issue rest of sure it will be dealt with quickly. It is nice to know that you when you return to the garage that you have the correct part. As the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They squash the competition in my book!Next time you need a part forget about the rest and go to the best!
If I could give zero stars I would. Stopped to purchase a battery for my car. The associate was overly curt and rude. When I asked which batteries fit my vehicle, I was told he could only reccomend the most expensive one, at $199.I asked if there was any other options, and I was told thats all he was allowed to reccomend, and if I wanted any other options, Id have to find them myself.He stated and I quote, If you want a $100 battery, then go to Wal MartNeedless to say I took my business elsewhere. Completely unprofessional.

As a older woman with no EXPERIENCE with cars! I entered Your AutoZone on Frontage Road in New London. A young man Tim as he introduced himself approached me as I was confused about how to look up light parts.He was so helpful, it was kind of embarrassing being so unknowledgeable but Tim set me at ease. Instead of just getting what I needed, Tim showed me how to look up in the books and charts so that I can come in the next time and feel knowledgeable. Very polite and respectful. More of this we need In our stores. I will recommend this store and all their help to my friends, and family . Thank you for a learning EXPERIENCE. Good morning... Ran into some difficulties this morning and somehow my exhaust pipe was unattached from the undercarriage of my car and was dragging. Tim the gentleman working there this morning showed me what I needed to grab to temporarily fix it and also helped me prop up said muffler so I could make it home to find a more permanent solution. Please give that man a raise. A+++ service.
Very helpful. Needed new wiper blades for wifes car. Suggested not to waste time looking in book near blades. He looked them up on the computer. Showed us the choices, we paid for them, he put them on. Definitely will go back for our other cars wipers!
Tried to purchase oil from this location and have them price match local auto parts store. Rotella T6 is priced around $30 at this location, other retailers are selling it around $18. I took my business elsewhere. Manager make eye contact with me, as the part associate wouldn’t price match me. Manager didn’t try to earn my business.

I went into Auto zone today to turn in the core for my sons car and this is how it went. Well first i bought the part in the Norwich store and figured since I always use the New London store I would just stop there. When the employee couldn’t find the car or core under my phone number she immediately got the manager Samantha. I guess she had just started at this store. You would never of knew that if I didn’t overhear the employees talking about a class she had just come from. Needless to say she was very pleasant, knowledgeable and NEVER gave up on trying to find out why the core wasn’t showing under my phone number. She called the Norwich store had them looking through there system as she tried a bunch of different ways to locate my purchases. Samantha finally found out there was a commercial account opened under my name in norwich which is a whole different issue. There was also a gentleman working who was also management that was helping other customers and in between them he was also doing everything he could to help. I wish I could remember his name so he could be recognized also. A frustrating experience that these employees turned into a great experience and they even had me laughing by the time I left. Thank you Samantha and crew for your help today!!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

Went to buy a new battery. Bring your own bags. Its weird to shop and not get a bag. Still need to get used to it. Store is fine.

This AutoZone has been a big help. I had an issue with a part that I ordered from them and no matter what parts they had, nothing fit/worked. When my work schedule did not allow me to resolve the issue, they ended up calling around to find the correct part because they could not supply it. They found the part and directed me where to go and even called ahead to coordinate with the place that did have the part. I believe the manager is named Michael and he was really helpful throughout the entire process. I in fact just went back recently and they were able to provide recommendations and suggestions for future repairs and issues that I may have coming up. They provide top notch customer service!
I had an easy going helpful experience with a young lady there. Didnt catch her name, but on the receipt says cashier #11. Great job!

I have read the reviews. I know this location is going through changes. They have a survey you can fill out. Good things or for bad. If there was a major problem all stores have the number and email address for the district managers. If they are not told of the problems how can we fix problems with employees. I am going to school for engineering. I do this because I love my job. Take time and help us help you. If you see a problem PLEASE tell someone. Grey shirts in the store are all managers. Talk to us. Even if its to say hi, let us know of a problem or ideas you have.

Every time I go I always get what I need and they are super helpful. But over the phone they are extremely rude and rush you through the process by cutting you off mid-sentence while describing what you need.

I like AutoZone. However, the, New London Connecticut store is the worst Ive ever been to! I worked really hard to get my first $20 in reward points. How that works any time you make a purchase of $20 or more on any project in cinestory you get one point. After 5:20 you receive a $20 credit towards the store and anything in it. The last time I went to AutoZone I did not spend over $20 and I made it a point to buy a couple extra things that didnt even really need so I can get my 5th point thus receiving my 20$ reward. I even had a little slip that I got with my receipt that says I have a $20 reward to the store however when I came in to use it for some reason I was not allowed to and it said that it was not in the computer. The fact that I have a legitimate AutoZone receipt that said I had just earned $20 in rewards should have been enough but is not. If you go to an AutoZone I exercise Extreme Caution going to the New London location I came here tonight at a convenience but Ive only ever had bad experiences here and I will continue to go over the bridge to Groton Connecticut
