These guys are awesome! My daughters car was side-swiped and Vargas did the repairs. We had to just sign over a check to them as we left town to return to NC and the owner was honest, efficient and did a fantastic job on the repair. I cannot recommend them enough!!A true gem of a business

Vargas body shop has the feel of a family business. Mr. Alex was friendly and knowledgeable. He replaced my tail light, and charged me a reasonable price for the work. It is worth supporting this honest family business.

Although certainly not a business one wishes to have a need to patronize more than once, A. Vargas Body Shop consistently delivers the finest craftsmanship in the area.With outstanding attention to detail, your vehicle will be repaired in a manner that makes it appear as if no repair was ever needed. In addition to their meticulous work, their lead times are surprisingly short.Craftsmen are rare in todays get-it-done/get-paid world. When you find one, you stick with them. Should I have the misfortune to require their services again, I would return without hesitation and cannot recommend Alex Jr. and Alex Sr. highly enough.

Unfortunately for my car, I’ve had to use A. Vargas body shop 3 times over the past few years. This place earned my loyalty on the first experience and I haven’t even thought about going anywhere else since. The estimate is always accurate and reasonable. The work is done quick and they’re great about communicating with the customer. Alex works with the insurance company and advocates for his clients. The work they do is unparalleled. My car looks brand new whenever I leave the shop. He pays attention to the small details and doesn’t miss a thing. I would highly recommend this body shop.

A friendly, honest, transparent mechanic. Did the work for about 1/3 the cost I was quoted at another shop across town. The work was done earlier than I anticipated and looked better than I thought possible. 10/10 would recommend.

Great experience with this shop. Insurance covered $5650 of repairs to my vehicle after an accident. These guys did a great job thoroughly inspecting it and finding multiple hard-to-find damages. Professional the entire time and helped interface with the insurance company. Owner of shop stayed after close when I was running late from work to pick up vehicle.

Its rare to visit a business today with no turnover of people who work there. We wish we didnt need them so frequently!! But when we do theres nowhere else wed go with our cars.

Vargas body shop is a class act. My family has had the fortune of receiving quality and time efficient work since i was a kid. Recently I had someone open their door into my car and and it ripped a nice mess along the side. Alex had the job done within days and I cant tell that anything had happened. The owner, staff, and technicians really do a great job of repairing automobile damage. When my $426,000 Lexus LFA needed repairs I had serious reservations as to who would do it. I learned about Vargas Body Shop through a gentleman who does interior refurbishing at Lexus of New Orleans, and I must say that they did a job second to none.

I just had the outer cover part of the bumper on my wifes car fixed here. It was only cosmetic, but it required removal of the entire bumper to re-attach the piece they fixed/repainted. I dropped the car off in the morning and it was done by 4pm. They did a great job and for much less than other body shops. They even gave me some of the color-matched paint they used in case I need it in the future. Very friendly and helpful. They will definitely be my shop of choice next time I need some body work.

I cannot speak highly enough of this shop. They were courteous & professional on the phone, and when I brought my car in with a newly installed scratch down the side, they touched it up on the spot! So impressed!!

Been meaning to write this review for a few months and have just put it off due to various things.Our car had been retaining water after it rained. We had the windshield looked at, the doors looked at, couldnt find the leak. Our interior was molding and no one else wanted to even bother looking at it, often citing it would be too much work to fix. We knew what we were getting into but we received a more than fair price and a very fast turnaround time.We got our car back within a week and it the interior looked like new, leak had been found and plugged. I cannot recommend them enough.

This was the second time I have used A Vargas Body Shop, the first was about seven years ago. I got into a car accident, with body damage to the front of my 2006 Acura. After my last experience with collision repair centers, I didnt bother getting additional quotes and drove straight to A Vargas. I only carry liability insurance for this older car so the repairs were not covered. Alex worked with me to use aftermarket parts and came back with a quote lower than I expected. They ran across some issues; they had to straighten the frame, replace an expensive headlight housing with an aftermarket part and even repaired an unrelated scratch on the back fender. They worked into the evening on a Friday and finished in under a week.I dealt with Mr Vargas (senior), seven years ago. And this time with his son Alex. This is a great family business and I highly recommend.

I would give this business six stars. I saw Alex the Friday before Christmas (which was the following Friday. I needed $3000 worth of work on six body panels and I wanted it done well. Alex asked me to drop off at 9:00am on Monday and he even took care of my rental car arrangements right there on the spot so theyd pick me up at the time of the drop off. I fully expected to get my car back after Christmas plus three or four days. Instead, he worked through Christmas Eve and delivered my car that afternoon.I used to own four Porsches and, at one time or another, had body work done on all of them. I know quality work when I see it. The quality of work at A. Vargas is stellar (and often less expensive than competitors). $3000 sounds like a lot of money, but trust me, I got every cents worth. My car, a sexy Subaru BRZ, looks new, brand new. The paint match is exact and my car was reassembled correctly the first time (sometimes a problem with body shops; running lights, door closures, etc.).Alex is a gentleman and a professional. His quotes are fair and reliable. And I gather that he routinely comes in underbudget for both time and money. Ill never go anywhere else.

Alex deliberately misled my wife and I when we needed on window tints taken off for inspection purposes. He told us it would be $40 per side. We paid cash & when we returned, only the front window tints had been removed & when we inquired as to why the back window tint was still there, he was like, oh sorry, well that will be another $40 to take the back ones off too. Careful about paying cash to this guy when he treats people like this & also when he is charging double the price for tint removal as the tint shop on carrollton.

They were extremely professional, friendly, fair and FAST. Totally blown away!

Alex did an excellent job and was quick about it. If Im ever unfortunate enough to need body work again in the future, itll be done by Alex.

Long story short, Mr Vargas Sr. charged me half an hour labor to installed a washer on my bumper in addition to other work I was having done.He actually forgot to install the washer and when I reminded him, he literally did it in two minutes, then threw in an extra 30 minutes labor on my invoice! What a rip.
