I have been going here since I moved to the city and bought a couple of bikes from them, including a new road bike after mine was stolen. Every time I go in, they are really helpful and knowledgeable. Always a great experience.

Apparently theyre not interested in making money. I went in the blazing heat to get my flat fixed. I dont know how to do it but I know it would take 5 minutes for experienced bike guy to fix. I guess they dont want the easy 10 bucks in labor that they would make install a new tube. I understand if they are backed up in repairs but they also could prioritize their easy repairs. Place is super snobby and only cares about selling expensive bikes to rich people in uptown. Dont go here for repairs because they apparently dont need that money

This is an excellent bike shop, Ive been in 3-4 times for minor repairs, mostly flats. The staff is always polite and professional. Most recently Scott and Jordan helped me with new tires for my old bike. This will be my first stop if I ever want a new one.

EDIT: I was slightly disgruntled that I could not return my un mounted Continental tire. The store manager or owner, I cant remember it was a very long day, went out of his way to come to the parking lot and allow a return without the Continental tag. The service here is very impressive, stock is taking a hit from the pandemic, support local!The store had only two Continental road bike tires, one of which is $57, extremely overpriced if you ask me. The store had one brake lever for standard handle bars. It was a simple chrome lever and was around $40. I found a similar one online for $15. I will go here if I have any serious issues regarding my chain because I do not have a chain tool. Other than that, I see this as an overpriced and understocked bicycle store.

Bought two bikes from here and dropped off my old Trek for some service. Scott and Billy are great guys with an abundance of knowledge. Scott took the time to show me a few different bikes to help me make the right decision on what I was looking for. My girlfriend is enjoying riding with me now that she has her own new set up. Excellent service, great people!! Billy and Scott were great to work with. They jumped though all kinds of hoops to make sure I was happy. If you are new to the bicycle world like me, this is the place to go.

Let me just start off by saying this place is massive! They have different types of bikes for every kind of rider, bike accessories, and apparel. Anything you could want they probably have. From the moment I walked in Scott took superb care and patience in find a bike that was right for me and what I was looking for.I was allowed me to try both bikes out and take them for a spin in the lot that they have alongside the store. He carefully and patiently answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. I was also taught a bit about minor maintenance and even demonstrated how to properly care for my bike.I wanted a Trek in a new color and they built it in an about hour and a half or so. Not only that, they charged my bike lights and put them on for me. I literally couldnt have imagined a better experience if I tried! Thank you to Scott and the entire team for being so knowledgeable, passionate and helpful! My bike shop loyalty now lies with Gno Cyclery! 😊

There was young man he had glasses and a blue fleece, sorry forgot his name, in the door waiting to answer all our questions for me and my fiance. Helped me pick out bikes, he was both professional and enthusiastic about his work. I walked in to buy one bike and ended up buying two because he truly showed a dedicated knowledge and was very courteous. After to going to so many shops and getting snubbed I would gladly buy all my bikes from this shop for the kindness and regard they showed us as customers.

Ive never even been inside the shop but GNO Cyclery was a huge help in packing and shipping a bike to me in Pennsylvania. Incredibly professional over the phone despite a few hurdles of my own making, very patient and kind. Not to mention one of the best packing jobs of a large, unwieldy mountain bike that I have ever seen. Keep up the great work!

As good as a shop can get. Huge selection of superior quality products, many of which are Cannondales, which no other bike dealers in town sell. I am an experienced cyclist and I hate going to shops. Ive been ripped off a lot in the past. I had a specific and serious problem in my rear hub, so I took it in for them to fix it. Within only a day, they called me to tell three distinct things that were wrong with my rear wheel, and explained that the best option to solve all three would be to replace my rear wheel. Only hours later, they called me again to let me know my bike was ready to go and they had put an exact replacement of the make and brand of my rims on my bike! It was an 80 dollar wheel and they charged me two costs of 8 dollars for labor, which was exactly what the estimate was. I was incredibly happy to walk out in only a day with a brand new wheel for a little over 100. It was also fun to geek talk with the staff, but bear in mind that I am a clearly experienced cyclist. I cant vouch for how they would treat a less knowledgeable person in the same situation. But on absolutely all accounts, this bike shop is outstanding.

My neighborhood bike shop. Nice guys, prompt, courteous service. They seem to enjoy what they do. They ask before making repairs thatll add extra charges when servicing my bike. They also have a cool selection of bikes and accessories. The dog who lives there is kind of smelly but so sweet!

I stopped in here with a broken seat, not really knowing how much it was going to cost me. I had a vague price range in my head, but what I ended up paying was waaayyyy less than I ever wouldve guessed. Always nice when that happens.On top of that they did extra things they didnt have to, like putting air in my tires. Very pleasant people all around. From now on, this is my go-to bike shop.

Just came from GNO, had a great experience! I went kind of late but the staff was very helpful. I got what i needed, a new tire, kick stand and tube. They couldnt have given better service and all for a very fair price. Please go there guys you wont be sorry!

My wife and I purchased two Trek FX2 bicycles in August 2018. We are from New Jersey, but since we visit New Orleans often, we wanted to store these bikes here. Scott took the time to properly fit us to theses new bikes.During our recent visit to New Orleans, August 2019, we stopped by the store a couple of times. Scott pumped up our tires on our first visit and we purchased a mini pump that was special order. When the pump arrived a week later, Scott installed the pump free of charge and diagnosed a clicking noise in the pedal of my wifes bike. The pedal had a faulty bearing and Scott changed the pedals free of charge under Treks warranty.We cant say enough about the outstanding customer service weve received from GNO Cyclery and from Scott, in particular. We highly recommend visiting this store to purchase a new Trek or Cannondale bike and for service.

Really great. I think they must have new staff since a few years ago reading the old reviews. They were super helpful. I dont bike much, and was bringing my old junky bike in for a tune up and tube replacement. The sales person rushed over to help open the door, he talked me out of the tune up pointing out it didnt make sense for a big box store bike and saved me a bunch of money when he could have totally upsold me and I wouldnt have blinked. The repairs were fairly quick and they were super pleasant with me even though it was a very cheap transaction. Will def go back there for my bike needs or if I ever decide to upgrade.

They were a big help.apparently the shop i bought my new cannondale from in los angelas dtla bikes did a crappy job assembling my bike.even thou they told we they checked it all out.and serviced it.so last night i noticed my cranks were very loose like the bearings were gone.took it to gno cyclery.with my receipt .lyn fixed me right up.no charge.i would recommend them to anyone.

I called them looking for a bike for my son.. is the closest place to fl that has this bike.. they didnt have one in stock but made sure he would have one when i arrived.. idk where you ppl are gettin this from but they were very helpful n im very satisfied with the service i recieved.

They were awful. There was no, how can I help you?, they just stared at me. They were douche bags and wanted to over charge me for a part they didnt have. I was with my friend, and both of us are Latin, and I did not want to speak English to the people. DO NOT GO THERE!
