Just had my two Elderly uncles who had their Verizon home phone go out The staff and Sergio spent time explaining and helping us get their phones back up and working while we waited after we had spent hours the night before on the phone trying to get them working Very professional would give them a 10 star if there was one
I had already ordered and paid for my phone in advance and had opted to pick up my phone in store to get some help with transferring my data to my new phone. When I went into the store I was helped quickly enough. The guy working the floor checked my ID and said let me go grab your phone from the back. He disappears to the back, half hour later I still have no phone and the employee hasnt come out to update me about what is taking so long. I had already waited the requisite time and didnt show up to the store until I was notified that my order was READY for pick up.... I finally flagged someone down to ask what had happened to the guy helping me or if there was a complication with my order. She checked my ID again and was back with my new phone in seconds. Why did I wait 30 minutes for my ready to pick up phone? Also she just put it in a bag and said have a good day, which is cordial enough, I suppose, but there was no effort made to help me with setting up my device, no apology for my wait, still no idea what happened to the first guy... Ive been looking forward to getting a new phone for weeks and was very excited, but this almost ruined it. Almost.
Never going to this location again. The staff doesnt care about helping you unless you are buying a phone from them AND they are uneducated on how to do their jobs! Brought in a brand new 5G phone I needed activated on my preexisting prepaid plan. They said they didnt know how to connect it to the network because it was unlocked from AT&T and told me there was nothing anyone could do. I told him the phone wasnt connecting to the network because I needed to switch my plan to the 5G prepaid plan (applicable to this specific phone) and he told me thats not the problem and told me to go switch to AT&T!!!!! HEY BEN GUESS WHAT!! Switched the Verizon plan I to you I wanted from the jump and now my phone works!!! Was literally on the way to AT&T when it started working. Im going to the Poydras location from now on!
So this has been a rollercoaster rideThis store at Carrollton ave has terrible customer service. I came in an HOUR before they closed, and because I had a few issues, the guy told me to “come in tomorrow”Really?So so I couldn’t access my Verizon account. Just came for some basic info about upgrading and was totally ignored. The store was very clean but the customer service was horrible. Everybody was on their phones and nobody greeted me. A bald headed gentlemen told me to hold on and went to the back and I decided to leave after 15 minutes. The worst Verizon Ive ever been to.
The folks who work here may look human, but they are actually robots who only only offer to replace your phone or upgrade it. Try it, its amazing to see how many ways they will not help you only to offer these 2 options. Bot response to this review coming shortly

This store has the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I visited this store to establish my business account was literally lied to and yelled at by a rep named or goes by “RAOUL” . I asked for a manager and was told no the manager won’t help you . I will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint against this location and I will not let this go unchecked. I can’t believe VERIZON would employ such a horrible individual and management . I’ll take my business to ATT !

Totally disrespectful service from Jaci, she confirmed my number when I entered then attempted to blame me for giving her the wrong number. Yes, it was 4:45pm (9/13/2020) however, prior to my presenting to the store I mentioned l’d spent an hour on the website trying to correct the issue. Jaci simply turned in her chair away from me leaving me to pick up my case and place my phone in it. It was then that I asked her when would my daughter’s phone be turned on. Jaci stated “Oh, you can just tell her when you see her, it will be on”. I told her I couldn’t because my daughter was traveling on the road. It was than that Jaci’s response was completely disrespectful, her tone, her eye contact, and her body language. “Well it won’t be this minute.” Again my question was “When”. My daughter’s safety is always a huge concern, in addition, I was in the midst of a family emergency with my sister at the time my phone stopped working. As I was preparing to leave, Jaci did not acknowledge that she had resolved the issue or said thank you, or even made an attempt to apologize for the inconvenience. I would like the contact information for the district manager of this branch. I’m always willing to pay for and recognize good service. I’m certainly not going to accept disrespectful, poor service.

My Verizon customer services experience was amazing, both in the store and the live reps on the phone. Took a bit of effort to get to a person on the phone but once I was able to speak with the rep, their attitude, demeanor and quality of assistance was exemplary.
Came to the Verizon store 5 times for the same reason and keep getting transferred when call customer service and tech support and the company did not investigate the situation properly and scamming me for 299 dollars
When we came in they directed us to a lady on the phone. Then we asked the employees for help with transferring phones and she had an attitude. Honestly they should just get rid of actual employees and do everything over the phone. This customer service is terrible. Come on Verizon you can afford to have a friendlier and more helpful staff.
Always a great time. Could be because I love gadgets and all technological devices. And since this is where the Iphone lives, I mean Im always happy to visit in the hopes of bringing home another one.The staff here are friendly and very helpful. Only downfall is sometimes, they theres a bit of a wait to be seen. But the upside of that is that, you can peruse the devices while you wait.Parking is fair. If you cant park in front the store itself; then parking in the rear is available.Clean store. Spacious. Pricing is relative to the item youre purchasing, but you already know how phone prices are... so buyer beware.
The manager Trellis was extremely helpful. She personally took the time to work through technical issues with support. I would definitely recommend this location.
One of the guys here helped me when others at other locations wouldnt. I had a phone open to all networks and I kept being told they couldnt connect it. The guy here said there isnt a problem and was able to help me. It was later understood that others wouldnt help me because the commission would be non existent since I wasnt getting the phone from them.

I had an awesome customer experience today switching from another wireless company to Verizon. Ashton was super helpful, and made the transition easy. I also noticed that two other sales reps/staff were dealing with tough customers with more patience and class than I have. It looks like a really good team of people work here.
Nice store, good location. the girl aka open mouth just-out-of-her-teens gum chewer at the front was incredibly flaky and had a tendency to express her ignorance whenever she had a chance. she contradicted herself several times and was trying to provide me plan information that she refused to let me see on paper or in a contract because it was proprietary. she misled me several times only to be corrected when I asked for clarification. extremely unprofessional and as such I left the store. two stars for location and the store layout (very fancy).
This is the first bad review I have ever done - But.... this “store” Is a major disappointment! I have frequented this Verizon “store” and have had nothing but bad experiences (more than 5 times) I will drive the extra 12 miles to go to the more helpful and friendlier store. Boo boo mid city Verizon, damn shame.
We were in and out, all new phone with charger, ear buds, screen protector insurance less than 30minutes but they actually took our old phone for credit a little every month off the new phone, best service best products and family deals, unlimited, everyones so helpful and theyre on it the minute you enter their store, Ive been with them since 1999 Ive gone thru years of kids, phones, broken everything and no problems getting service, repairs, they are always easy to work with, Im satisfied

When my old phone finally broke I was dreading going to the Verizon store because I remember waiting for hours in one as a kid. Today there was no wait and Britt, the person who helped me, was super knowledgeable and efficient. I upgraded the storage because she told me it was only an extra $4/month, and I bought a tempered glass screen cover and a case she recommended. Im really happy with my new phone and the whole process took less than a half hour. Im not afraid of the Verizon store anymore. Thanks Britt!
If I could give zero stars I would to this location. The sales woman was very unprofessional and our sale kept getting interrupted by her personal phone ringing. Not only was she not able to help us complete a sale, but she gave no effort in trying to help. She just refreshed her screen a few times shrugged her shoulders and gave us our application number with a customer service number to call,. We spent over an hour in the store trying to buy a new phone and set up a plan. Anytime she had a question she would yell it across the store to other employees who were sitting on the couches and texting. Truly an unprofessional environment. Good thing the customer service specialists were rock star overt the phone. Seriously, do not go into this location. Call customer service and you will be much happier as they are actually professional. This store definitely needs to be retrained in their product knowledge, customer service skills, and just general professionalism.

Unfortunate that phone companies cant seem to provide a satisfactory level of service. Had a new Samsung edge. it was exposed to moisture in my pocket after rain. The phone got water inside. normal warranty issue. The staff immediately takes a position that insurance should be used. I tell them sure if I damaged the phone or something similar. This was a defect with the phones manufacturing. Why would I spend 200 buck on a deductible when its not a problem caused by my self. I closed my account. walked out and gave up a phone number i had for over 20 years. Verizon too bad you can spend some money train your staff and handle issues like this.

An associate kinda treated me funny about returning a car charger here. I was perhaps a little too honest about the fact that I never intended to keep it, but I explained why and everything. (You didnt really think I was gonna pay $40 for a car charger, right? LOL)

Dunno what the other negative reviews are all about but I got excellent customer service by 2 employees there tonight. One by a woman who looked to be a manager or coordinator and the other by an associate named Mia L. who assisted me with several things and was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Like all non-business Verizon stores, none of the staff here have the authority to make anything more than minor changes to your account.If you need something other than a new handset or to add a line to your account, dont bother coming here -- theyll just tell you to call customer support.
Was having a real problem restoring the data on my insurance-replaced Verizon cell phone, part of an 8-phone account. Walked into the Verizon on Carrollton, greeted by Brittany. Told her my situation; she didnt seem to care and was very gruff, not sympathetic. I have hundreds of client in my account. Brittany told me there was nothing I could do to retrieve the information. I countered that I had backed up information from replacing several phones, so I anticipated that I could do the same. She told me she couldnt help me and that I should go to Apple for possible assistance. I told her that I would be taking my entire account away from Verizon. My wife called the VERIZON home office, and they quickly assisted her to restore my phone. #premium,premium;horribleservice;THANKYOUBRITTANY

We were in New Orleans in my fiance had his wallet and his phone stolen. So we had to go to this Verizon store he has 29 lines with Verizon and we had to literally wait there for 2 hours. Because he didnt have his ID on him they make a passcode but I guess I wont let you use the passcode. The guy working there was really nice the manager seemed to be a bit on how our trip

I always go to this store the staff is respectful, honest and extremely helpful (unlike other locations).
The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. I expected to be in the store for a long period of time but I was in and out in a short time.
This was the worst customer service experience Ive ever gotten. My friend and I went in to purchase a prepaid phone and she was told she was not allowed to change her number. So this purchase should be simple right? Prepaid phone, simple service plan. The customer service clerk was exceptionally cordial, but completely unable to help. After spending 20 minutes waiting for him to punch in the information into a tablet, he finally went to charge the phone and activate it. The phone did not charge after 5 minutes or even light up, but he kept telling us two minutes more. He then brought over another customer service clerk to make sure it wasnt working and when I asked about it again, he said two more minutes. After determining that it wasnt working, he said that he would check to see if there was any more in stock. I asked if we could get a refund if not and he said that it would cost us $35 to do so, despite the fact we had never even touched the phone. I objected, but waited for him to find out if it was in stock. After 10 minutes he finally came out and there were no more of that type of phone but there was a similar phone that used SIM cards that cost the same price. After 20 minutes of working on the tablet, he comes back and says this phone would cost $20 more. At this point I had been in the store for over an hour and just asked for our money back. The transaction had been conducted in cash, but the clerk, Jamal, tried to take it out of a different register. After 10 minutes, a clerk removed the cash drawer from the register and walked away. I asked why they could not just refund the cash right away and was told they needed to enter the information properly. After 10 more minutes, he called another clerk over to help him process the refund. After 5 minutes another clerk was called over. At this point the store closes and they call over the final clerk. It had seemed as if the transaction was finally going to be cleared, but no, the first clerk called over had to help again. Im livid at this point but did not raise my voice and was accused of being rude nonetheless. When I asked to speak to the manager, the second clerk who had someone else come over to help said she was the manager. I finally received back the funds, but after 90 minutes I left with no phone. This is truly the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. McDonalds trains their employees better than this.

Very Bad customer service experience. Went in to buy a new phone bc I had lost mine. Turned out I had insurance so I get a new phone shipped next business day. Not only did I not get my phone the next day, I have been without a phone for over a week and for someone like myself who uses it for work everyday that is not acceptable. To further explain My information and affidavit was never sent to Asurion because they do not accept faxes from Verizon. Now either its not their job to deal with lost phones Or Asurion claims they should have not helped me. First they lied to me saying they, do this all the time and its never had this problem before then a lady told me they couldnt do anything else. Why would you tell a customer that? I had to haggle them just to look at my claim again. When I got on the phone with the Asurion customer service two employees insisted on singing, dancing, and laughing literally a foot away from me as if I was in their conversation and the dancing was sub-par. Turns out I never had to set foot in that store and I wish I hadnt. Not. Happy.
The sales people are not very nice here, in my limited experience. Dont have the same deals you can get online either.
