Best place to buy from small time grocery store. They have many items but most importantly are the family that run the store. They are the best and always have nice things to say every time I walk in there.

I absolutely love this store its run by the two most wonderful people I have ever met in New Orleans. They are very kind to their customers no matter who they are and how much they are spending or how much they are not spending. They always have a good word to say to each and every customer I will never stop going to this store for anything I need that they may have

I go there to get Menudo (tripe soup....the soup is delicious!!!!)The food there is reasonably priced and tasty....the portions are very nice...I have tried the sweet and sour chicken and the honey chicken by themselves with no side, today I opted for the lomein...we shall see. Overall....what keeps me coming back the this establishment is the overall genuine customer service. The couple that owns the store remember you and greet you kindly upon entering...they remember what you ordered the last time you came.....Dannys is a GEM within the community.

Foods not the best but what do you expect from a corner store. If you want a cheap lunch though, this is the place to go. The jointis pretty basic so dont expect to find great deals but the folks that work there are very friendly and respectful.

Havent been to here in 9 to 10 years... Mrs Dee and her husband still remember me by name.. Every day food is served fresh and that is the main reason i wanted to stop by for my wife to check it out.. Alot of food for cheap.. just cant beat it.. if we still lived here we would be a regular again.. check it out once and see for yourself

I have always avoided Dannys food store because the merchandise is terrible and old and the food seems just as bad, and the owners seem like they take advantage of the people in the neighborhood. Tonight a 59 year old woman bought a lighter that exploded when she dropped it. She went to tell the owners what happened, because she thought it was defective. The owners told her that it exploded because it was a crack lighter, implying that she was a crackhead! This is a product they sell, and a paying customer. The woman was very upset, and tried to explain this to them, and they called the police on her. A 59 year old woman. Do not go to this store under any circumstances.
