Love this place! All the produce is so fresh and delicious. The floral department hands down has the prettiest flowers for any occasion. The coffee Isle is amazing always clean and fully stocked as well as the salad bar. I definitely recommend going here to shop.

Wow! What a neat grocery store! So clean...I would use the word impeccably clean! Everything neat and orderly. Items geared towards a more healthy lifestyle, which is nice honestly! Workers friendly and asked if I needed any help when they saw me just standing around. Loved some of the seasonal displays. All kinds of things available!! Who would have thought it would be a pleasure to just go into a grocery store and look around? A new favorite store!!

What a shopping adventure The Fresh Market is on Saint Charles. Its organized and clean and every time I go there I discover some new food, meet smart and friendly staff, and leave with something fresh and delicious. Last time I was there I bought a complete prepared meal just walking around getting ideas. Everyone at my table that evening was so happy.

Fresh market is a great store good sandwich and salads they have some cranberry almond crisper cookie they make it at the store they where great brought 4 boxes

This is probably the nicest grocery store I’ve ever been in. The produce is so juicy and colourful and they sell all kinds of amazing imported goods as well as a huge selection of cheese and coffee. They even make fresh peanut butter there in store. It’s definitely on the pricey side but we were only in town for two weeks and enjoyed trying the freshly made pies and bread.

Mark or was it Marvin. He was African American about 57 but very polite and helpful. When he learned that my daughter was vegan he really helped by finding vegan items she was looking for😊. And another person told us about the 2 for 10 on roasted chickens and pizza in the fresh meat department.

The best choice in meat and fish selection!

This place was great! We visited there on our first night in NOLA. The staff were friendly and née their dishes well. We got the red beans and rice and shrimp etouffee. It was local, it was fresh, but it lacked a little in presentation. The drinks were great! The atmosphere was welcoming and the oyster bar is where you can see everything.

Fresh Market NOLA is a great grocery resource overall, great deli and take out, high quality produce, good selections and strong wine inventory. We ordered a 13 LB Prime Rib Roast to serve Christmas Day, and as my primary beast expertise is on the grill, but this rack was destined for the oven, I consulted the Fresh Market butcher who prepared it, to bone up (pardon) on seasoning and prep tips. Jacob the butcher graciously spent some of his precious time with me on the phone on Christmas Eve to guide me in safely. We are so appreciative of his help and encouragement, and are pleased to report a Christmas culinary masterpiece at our house. Thanks, Jacob!! 🎄🎅🏼❤️👊🏻

Our first time there....really nice variety of groceries. It was clean well organized and had some great products.

Will compare to Cleveland, Miami and Greensboro. The one thing in common is the rediculous profiling as I walk down the isles. The other is the coffe. No ceviche bars here like Miami. The health and beauty products is not as big here. The selection here Im assuming is smaller due to the poorer enviornment in New Orleans. Good to see, they just need an attitude adjustment

I had three separate orders and he bagged each one differently so it was easier for me to distinguish which was which. Fresh market has all the best brands. No room on thier shelves for inferior products.The butcher shop is over the top when it comes to quality and service. The staff takes great pride in providing the ultimate cuts of meat, and seafood products. It is evident by the way they display them, and thier eagerness to give you the best experience, from your shopping visit, to your home fine dining experience. The store is well laid out and feels cozy and comforting.No searching for ingredients among 40 aisles of clutter. This place is succinct!Every staff member seems to be a member of a happy, winning team. Including my favorite, friendly security gaurd🤗

This place is amazing. I was able to buy food at a resonable price and eat in my hotel instead of spending money at some over priced eatery. The chicken and side salads were awesome. Loved the dill potato salad. Nice to just chill and eat.

Went here today to grab a salad with my boss. I dont always shop here because I know their prices are more expensive than the other grocery stores around, but sometimes theyre the most convenient when working in this area.

This is a higher end boutique grocery store with limited selection of higher end products. Think Trader Joes. Prices are higher than traditional grocery stores.

We were walking the Garden District and stopped in here to pick up some fun items for a snacky lunchm it is a beautiful grocery store, nice staff, and fun foods. I always like to go to grocery stores when I travel. I feel like you get a better understanding of the culture that way. We bought some fried veggies (they are like chips), along with some fruit, soft cheese, and toasted bread and ate them out on the patio. It was wonderful.

This store has been on my list of grocery stores to check out for a while, and Im happy I finally made my way in. Its honestly the BEST grocery store Ive been inside of; and trust me Ive been in a lot from San Francisco to NYC. There was a great market in San Francisco where I used to shop on occasion for my specialty and gourmet items before they closed It had everything and was my favorite market. Since relocating to New Orleans, Ive visited several stores in and out of metro area exploring different grocery stores. This store is very organized, super clean, nicely laid out, and has some great products. The customer service is very friendly, and the ready to eat meals are tasty and fairly priced for what youre getting. Also, did I mention they have meal kits? You know those meal kits that you have to pay a subscription for? Yeah, Fresh Market has similar meal kits at great prices without having to pay a subscription fee.Im clearly passionate about where I shop. Do yourself a favor and visit this grocery store.

Great location on St. Charles Ave.Higher end grocery store. Think Whole Foods.My only complaint was the sales girl at the pre-made food counter had zero personality.

I tend to think its a little bit high-priced but sometimes its just based on pound and its not actually the price listed its per pound. The store is really nice and clean the people are super friendly. Assistance is just a question away. They have a very good grocery store sushi. A extensive wine and beer selection and an excellent produce section. I think most importantly theyre non-bias towards people. Not that one can afford much when youre homeless but they didnt look at you like you are riff Raff.

Best food bargain in NOLA are the Bistro Meals. Always delicious, never disappointed.

I like going there because of its proximity to me and can usually find quality items not found at Walmart... without making longer a trip to Wholefoods, Costco or worse Trader Joes. However, there is an unhealthy stench at the front of the store near the meat and seafood counter that makes me gag more so than not.

Fresh Market is AMAZING! The cheese section alone in this place puts Whole Foods to shame. The Deli meats are fantastic and well priced. Cheaper for the quality than other stores. They have every cut of Steak you could ask for, beautiful cuts of Pork, a dozen types of sausage, and a huge selection of Seafood. The bakery is amazing too. Breads are WAY better than WF or any of the other local grocery stores.They also have a whole second floor dedicated just their wine and beer selection. Also have a decent liquor section on the bottom floor. Not huge, but some quality products. From top to bottom this store is the best in the City by FAR.

This was previously the House of Bultman funeral home 1883-2005 which was started by my great great grandfather Anthony Bultman. Whenever we visit new Orleans we stop by what is now Fresh Market. The building was gutted but they kept the outside as it was [except made it off white]. The plantation house behind on Louisiana Avenue is still owned by Bultman family.This store offers a good variety of items from bakery to fresh produce to floral. More upscale pricing with items I may see in Gerbes, Kroger, Roushes and items that are more unique/local. Top floor has bathrooms plus wine/alcohol. Not a bad place to stop by and visit while on St. Charles Avenue/Garden District.

Started to cook. Opened the chicken,Gaged, it was so rank and old. Vile.But what happened next is really disturbing:My husband spoke to a person, located in the appropriate department.It was the attitude-she who couldve cared less, said to bring it back - yeah right at 9 pm in the middle ofthe Saints playoffs.then hung up the phone on himNever encountered a rude young or old one until tonight.Thanks for the rank, food. The people there are very nice,they welcome u as u enter. They sell food and sandwiches such as Rotissory chicken,tuna salad,crab salad.

Ive spent a few hours here today it is so pleasant; you can tell the employees love working here, which bodes well... muy tall Ashley(?) in chefs coat working the in-house wall o food was particularly intuitive/adept. some things are more expensive here, lots more comparably priced, better than youd expect for an advantageously placed gourmet grocer. plenty of great and creative prepared foods including this fancy deal photod, and lots of lovely samples (including coffee! I counted at least four carafe stations throughout the store). outlets inside and out for your charging needs plus a microwave/toaster/dining area/wine bar/mix and match beer 6pack upstairs and clean restrooms, big umbrellad patio if you feel like commiserating with the rain/sun, etc. no toiletries for sale (yet?). seems like they have security well sorted also (police at least, possibly guards), and a nice medium-size parking lot. today there was a man smoking chilies on the patio which is hot

The Fresh Market is my stopping place for a variety of things. They have great wine and cheese sections for a moderately sized store. Also a really nice deli (great dinner deals) and fresh meat/seafood dept. My guilty pleasure is always a visit through the bulk candy aisle for red shoestring. 😊

Love the untraditional market feel. May want to put in a bank or title loan officer because no one could afford to shop for a family or even regularly. Beside the sky high price this is my favorite grocery store. Most expensive is not something to be proud of yall

They are overall more expensive, but the produce and meats are beautiful and the choices are plentiful. There are very good pre-made foods and deserts, as well as flowersand plants. This is a fun place to shop.

The Fresh Market -while pricey- has an awesome selection of fresh groceries. Produce, meat, and even wine. Staff is cordial and attentive. Aisles are always clean and merchandise presented well. My only criticism is price, but apparently thats what it costs for such a great selection and presentation.

Such a great market. Social distancing guidelines are well observed here and thats a plus. The products have a good diversity so you can find whatever youre looking for easily.

Great store! Cute and old-fashioned. It is very pricey, but you are paying for the great selection of local and international items, the kind and well-trained staff, and the historical location.Maybe not your everyday grocery store, but I love going there to get fresh gulf-catch shrimp, grass-fed beef, or wild-caught salmon.

Love this cute spot. Its right on the St. Charles streetcar line, which makes it easy to get to if youre visiting. Nice staff and good variety. A little pricey, but worth it if you want to grab fresh fruit, sandwiches and even wine.

I was there on vacation from SF a week ago.. reminds me of Whole Foods here in Bay Area... but much nicer and food quality...we were getting on the plane the next day we wanted to get something to eat and bring on plane. Great store...well Bruce the Assistant Manager was so helpful and accommodating he gave me a bottle of water since the water was bad and then he proceeded to assist me further with a couple of containers to go...since we had to put certain food in there..to carry on plane.... so overall he was great to us...and he is what you would want as accommodating the guests to there satisfaction and more..Also one guy forgot his name he was really nice I wanted to try or asked him about this product on sale and he was willing to let me try it for free...was not much...it was a type of small pouch of liquid with 2 or 3different flavors and you freeze it in freezer..too bad it was not one in the Bay Area in San Francisco way better than Whole Foods

I like this place. But it seems to escaped a neighborhood vibe and is a bit bourgeois. I love organic and quality. But people seem pretentious who work there. And it really has nothing to do with customer service or expanding business sales. Just a thought.

Upscale shopping at its finest!

The gentleman at the cake counter in back was very nice and helpful. The ladies at the cash register were very unprofessional and downright rude!!! If I wasnt taking a specific request to a friend, I would have gone ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I wont be back there again.

There is quite an interesting choice of foods but especially those appealing to organic and environmentally conscious people. The store is very attractively laid out and decorated. But the prices are more than I usually pay. But if you can afford it the quality is high.

One of the best markets to get the freshest vegetables and prepared foods around. Nice wine selection upstairs. The parking lot is crowded at times so go during odd hours. They have Jack fruit which Ive never seen before in a grocery store. Meat selection is superior to most stores.
